Abstract

This study aims to find strategies and ways to improve the effectiveness of principal supervision by examining other variables that have a positive and dominant influence on the effectiveness of principal supervision. From the qualitative research that has been carried out, different variables are Servant leadership and organizational culture as exogenous variables and organizational climate and personality as entering variables. The strategies and methods found were recommended to related parties, namely teachers, school principals, school supervisors, education offices, and the Ministry of Education and Culture. This study uses a combination of Correlation Research and SITOREM Analysis. This joint research methodology uses a correlation research flow, which is analyzed using SITOREM analysis. The residents in the study are all supervisors and principals of vocational schools in Bogor Regency. The sampling technique in this study uses a proportional random sampling technique, which collects data by taking a proportional population to be used as a sample. The formula used to determine the sample uses the Slovin formula with a margin of error of 5%. The study's conclusion showed a positive and significant influence of serving leadership, personality, and organizational climate on the effectiveness of principal supervision.

Abstract

This study investigates the types and causes of pronunciation errors in reading Arabic Texts among Islamic Educational Management students, with implications for their future roles in educational leadership. Employing a qualitative error analysis framework, the research utilized oral reading assessments, semi-structured interviews with instructors, and document analysis of student performance in sixth-semester Arabic for Education courses. Data were triangulated to identify recurrent phonological inaccuracies and contextualize them within pedagogical practices. Results demonstrated systematic misarticulation of Arabic phonemes, notably substituting kāf with qāf, zāy with jīm, ṭāʾ with tāʾ, ṣād with sīn, and khāʾ with ḥāʾ, particularly evident in readings from the book of Al-‘Arabiyyah Baina Yadaik. These errors were attributed to three interrelated factors: phonological interference from the students’ native language, which lacks equivalent Arabic sounds; insufficient emphasis on phonetic training in course instruction; and limited immersive exposure to authentic Arabic speech. The findings highlight critical implications, as precise Arabic pronunciation is integral to effective communication in Islamic educational leadership, where textual accuracy and oral proficiency are essential for pedagogical and administrative credibility. Consequently, this study advocates for curriculum reforms prioritizing phonemic awareness through targeted articulatory exercises and immersive listening modules, ensuring graduates possess the linguistic precision required to uphold educational quality in madrasas and Islamic boarding schools. Such adjustments would bridge the gap between theoretical language acquisition and functional communicative competence, aligning academic training with professional demands.

Abstract

This study examines the behavioral dynamics and social interactions of Muslim school communities by situating them within the ethical framework of the Qur’an and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. Although numerous studies have highlighted the importance of school climate and social relations in shaping educational outcomes, limited attention has been given to how Islamic values concretely inform these processes within Muslim educational contexts. To address this gap, a qualitative case study approach was employed, focusing on patterns of behavior and interaction in Muslim school communities. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis, and subsequently analyzed using a thematic analysis approach. The findings reveal that the Qur’an and Hadith serve not only as spiritual references but also as practical guidelines for cultivating a safe and supportive learning environment, strengthening teacher–student and peer relationships, and reinforcing the influence of family in students’ character formation. These interactions collectively foster a school climate characterized by harmony, inclusivity, and mutual respect. By linking Islamic normative principles with contemporary educational practices, this study underscores the role of religion as a transformative resource in promoting holistic education. The results offer valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and researchers seeking to improve the quality of Islamic education while contributing to broader discussions on values-based education in global contexts.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic education teachers in developing akhlakul karimah among elementary school students through religious programs. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected from 35 permanent teachers at Amaliah Elementary School, Bogor, Indonesia, through open-ended questionnaires and in-depth interviews. The data were analyzed thematically with the support of NVivo 12 software. The findings showed that teachers serve as facilitators, motivators, educators, role models, guides, and evaluators in strengthening students’ moral character. Their contributions occur both inside and outside the classroom through moral instruction, advice, storytelling, supervision, and exemplary behavior. Religious programs positively influence students’ attitudes, worship practices, discipline, respect, politeness, and social behavior.
