Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the role of Human Resource Planning (HRP) in improving company performance. Human Resource Planning is a technique used to explore and organize potential, competencies, skills, talents, etc. Therefore, companies need Human Resource Planning to operate and maintain the company to continue to exist. The importance of Human Resource Planning in a company must be the main issue when a company wants to continue to exist and be sustainable because every company throughout the world needs good human resource planning so that it will affect the company's performance, in other words good Human Resource Planning will improve the company's performance.

Abstract

In the era of growing digitalization, digital-based entrepreneurship has become one of the important solutions in addressing the rising unemployment rate. Technopreneurship creates opportunities for individuals to start new businesses in technology, such as startups and e- commerce, which can create new jobs. In addition, technopreneurship also encourages technological innovation, both in product and service development, which can open up new opportunities to create jobs in technologically emerging sectors. The research method used involves analyzing the literature to highlight the contribution of digital entrepreneurship in creating new job opportunities and expanding market access for workers. The results show that digital entrepreneurship has great potential to reduce unemployment rates by facilitating creativity, innovation and economic engagement at both local and global levels. Policy implications and suggestions for further development are also discussed in this abstract.

Abstract

In the current digital era, the application of technology has brought significant changes and opportunities for micro, small and medium businesses. This has also led to the development of open innovation, where companies collaborate with external partners to create and share new ideas and solutions. The application of digital technology has facilitated innovation in overcoming environmental challenges. This technological progress has also paved the way for digitalization in MSMEs. By adopting digital technology, MSMEs can streamline their operations, automate processes, and increase productivity, thereby enabling MSMEs to increase their competitiveness and performance in the market, as well as accelerating the digital transformation of MSMEs that allows them to adapt and thrive in the digital economy. This research uses the literature review method, literature review aims to solve problems. We can draw conclusions from the results of the literature review. By developing technological solutions to social and environmental problems, MSME owners have the potential to become a positive force in creating sustainable social and economic change.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of government-industry collaboration on technopreneurship in Aceh, focusing on initiatives led by the Government of Aceh and the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT). The aim is to understand how these collaborations contribute to sustainable economic growth and innovation within the region. The study utilizes a literature-based approach, drawing insights from existing research, reports, and case studies related to technopreneurship, government-industry partnerships, and innovation ecosystems. Key themes and trends are synthesized to inform the analysis of the collaboration's impact on entrepreneurial activities in Aceh. Results Government-industry collaboration in Aceh has led to significant advancements in renewable energy, diversified plantation sectors, governance innovation, and human resource development. The implementation of electronic governance systems has enhanced transparency and efficiency in government operations. Emphasis on vocational education and life skills programs underscores efforts to cultivate a skilled workforce capable of driving technological advancements and entrepreneurial activities.

Abstract

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are crucial contributors to economic growth worldwide. Yet, they often face considerable challenges in fully utilizing digital technologies. This extensive literature review explores the complex relationship between digital literacy and SME entrepreneurial performance across varied global environments. It examines a range of studies highlighting how digital literacy enables SMEs to innovate, integrate e-commerce solutions, enter new markets, and enhance their overall business performance. The review highlights the intricate digital landscape SMEs navigate, marked by regional differences, sector-specific challenges, and the continuous evolution of digital skill needs. The goal of this study is to offer practical recommendations for policymakers and organizations supporting SMEs, suggesting focused measures to bridge the digital skill divide. By improving digital literacy among SMEs, we can unlock their potential, boosting entrepreneurial success and contributing to sustainable economic growth globally.

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has become a transformative force across various fields, including recruitment. Its integration into hiring processes has redefined how organizations identify, evaluate, and retain talent. By offering enhanced efficiency, reduced biases, and better decision-making, AI presents significant advantages in recruitment. The methodology employed in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, where researchers gather data from various literature sources and utilize qualitative methods, as the data collected is presented in the form of words or descriptions. This literature review examines the implementation of AI in recruitment, focusing on its benefits, risks and ethical concerns, and also practical implications and strategic insights.as the result, AI for recruitment tools provide notable advantages, such as increased efficiency, cost reduction, and better candidate matching. However, they also pose challenges, including algorithmic bias, concerns over job security, and issues related to data privacy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of social capital and innovation capability on competitive advantage in the context of women's entrepreneurship. Utilizing a quantitative approach with the PLS-SEM model, the study involved 300 respondents who are women entrepreneurs from various industry sectors. The findings indicate that social capital has a positive but insignificant effect on competitive advantage, while innovation capability has a strong and significant impact. These results highlight the importance of innovation as a key factor in creating sustainable competitive advantage, whereas social capital serves as an initial foundation for building business networks. Therefore, enhancing innovation capacity and access to technology should be prioritized in empowering women entrepreneurs to support the sustainability of their businesses in the future.

Abstract

Factors that significantly impact employee performance include transformational leadership, intrinsic drive at work, and the physical work environment. An employee's level of job happiness is directly correlated to the level of performance they deliver. Using job satisfaction as an intermediary variable, this study aims to examine the impact of transformational leadership, work motivation, and the physical work environment on employee performance at the Belawan Branch of PT. Pelindo Regional 1 (Persero). The 52 participants who made up the sample were all permanent workers of the Belawan Branch of PT. Pelindo Regional 1 (Persero). Descriptive statistics and path analysis were used to analyze the data. Employee performance is positively and significantly impacted by transformational leadership, work motivation, and the physical work environment, according to the research.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of innovation capability, digital competence, and digital transformation on the performance of culinary SMEs in Medan City with self-directed learning as an intervening variable. Using a quantitative approach, 230 samples of culinary SMEs were selected through multistage sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS). The results show that innovation capability, digital competence, and digital transformation have a positive and significant effect on self-directed learning and SME performance. Self-directed learning mediates the influence of digital competence and digital transformation on the performance of SMEs, but does not mediate the influence of innovation capability. This research provides recommendations to improve the performance of culinary SMEs through the development of innovation capabilities, digital competencies, and digital transformation.

Abstract

In an increasingly dynamic work environment, employees' ability to voluntarily contribute through Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and possess high Psychological Capital, such as optimism, hope, resilience, and self-efficacy, is considered a critical factor influencing performance. Moreover, job satisfaction is often regarded as a key element that strengthens the relationship between these variables and performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and Psychological Capital on employee performance at Bank Sumut, with job satisfaction as a moderating variable. A quantitative approach was employed in this study. The sample consisted of 83 employees out of 473 employees at Bank Sumut, selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The study's findings show that psychological capital and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) both have a positive impact on employee performance. Job satisfaction also has a positive impact on employee performance, while psychological capital has a stronger effect on Bank Sumut employees' performance thanks to job satisfaction.
