Abstract

This study intends to explore the role of guidance and counseling in addressing student learning problems at school. The method chosen for this article is Literature Review. The method in this research is using a literature review approach. A literature review is a study that has the aim of searching and analyzing in a comprehensive, structured, without doubt and may be repeated process. This approach is used because of similarities and relevance in systematically assessing all studies related to the role of guidance and counseling in schools. This research consists of 5 articles starting from 2019-2023. Based on the study analysis, it shows that guidance and counseling have a significant role in helping students overcome various learning problems, such as academic difficulties, low motivation, interpersonal conflicts, and others. A holistic approach based on individual needs can provide effective support for students in developing their potential optimally. The implication of these findings is the need to increase the role and support for counselors and teachers in providing quality guidance and counseling services in educational institutions. It is hoped that this study will be able to contribute to improving the understanding and practice of guidance and counseling in schools in order to develop learning outcomes and achievements for the welfare of students.

Abstract

Abstract: The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a change or increase in students' assertive behavior after being given the treatment of group counseling services using assertive training techniques. This study uses quantitative methods. This type of research is pre-experiment, using the one group pretest posttest design. Selection of subjects using purposive sampling method. The number of research subjects was eight people with the category of assertive (moderate) and low behavior. This research was conducted in Adhiyaksa High School, the instrument used was the scale of assertive behavior with a Likert scale model. Data were analyzed using nonparametric statistical techniques that used the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The results showed that the pretest score was 99.125 and posttest 134.625. Then to test the hypothesis obtained Asymp results. Sig. (2-tailed) 0,005 which means under alpha 0,05 (0,005 less than 0,012) thus Ho can be interpreted rejected and Ha accepted. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that there was a change or an increase in the assertive behavior of students after being given the treatment of group counseling services through Assertive Training techniques. Keywords: group counseling, assertive training, assertive behavior

Abstract

Banyak siswa mungkin tidak sepenuhnya memahami apa itu catcalling. Mereka mungkin menganggapnya sebagai sesuatu yang normal atau tidak penting. Psikoedukasi mengenai catcalling sebagai upaya untuk melindungi diri dari pelecehan seksual sangatlah penting. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah (1) meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman mengenai dampak catcalling, dan (2) membangun keterampilan mahasiswa dalam mencegah dan mengintervensi kasus-kasus catcalling dan pelecehan seksual. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat oleh departemen bimbingan dan konseling ini berjalan dengan lancar, ditandai dengan partisipasi aktif dan antusiasme peserta yang hadir dalam menyimak materi yang disampaikan. Hasil evaluasi dari pelatihan psikoedukasi tentang catcalling di lingkungan sekolah, sebagai upaya perlindungan diri dari pelecehan seksual, menunjukkan bahwa para siswa dapat mengenali dan memahami berbagai bentuk pelecehan seksual dan dapat membentuk langkah-langkah untuk melindungi diri dari pelecehan tersebut.

Abstract

Bimbingan dan Konseling merupakan program bantuan yang dilaksanakan untuk membantu siswa mengenali dirinya dan mengembangkan potensi yang dimilikinya secara optimal, dalam pengembangan potensi siswa kerap kali siswa dihadapkan pada permasalahan yang timbul dan menghambat perkembanganya, konsultasi merupakan bantuan yang diberikan untuk menguraikan permasalahan tersebut. Konsultasi menuntut adanya hubungan yang baik antara siswa dan guru bimbingan dan konseling, namun pada fenomena yang ditemukan masih banyak siswa terkesan enggan dan takut untuk melakukan konsultasi kepada guru bimbingan dan konseling. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk melihat apakah terdapat pengaruh antara persepsi akan kinerja guru bimbingan dan konseling terhadap minat siswa dalam berkonsultasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi linear sederhana ditemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara persepsi siswa terhadap minat siswa dalam berkonsultasi, terdapat 9% pengaruh yang ditunjukkan oleh hasil koefisien determinasi. Hasil persentase sebsar 74% dan 68% juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat keterkaitan antara persepsi kinerja dan minat siswa dalam melakukan konsultasi terhadap guru bimbingan dan konseling

Abstract

The aim of this research is to measure the quality of attention of parents of students in class VIII of SMP N 7 Muaro Jambi, to measure the quality of student learning discipline in class VIII of SMP N 7 Muaro Jambi, and to reveal the influence of parental attention on student learning discipline. in class VIII at SMP N 7 Muaro Jambi. This research population was conducted at SMP N 7 Muaro Jambi in class VIII. The subjects of this research were 109 students of SMP N 7 Muaro Jambi, using random sampling techniques. This research data uses descriptive quantitative data. The technique used in this research is by distributing questionnaires to respondents, then analyzing them using the normality test, reliability test, regression test and percentage (%). The results of this research obtained a percentage of 80.58%, this shows the high category, which means that parental attention has a high role for students at SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. Student learning discipline obtained a percentage result of 87.86%, this shows the high category, which means that student learning discipline has a high role for students at SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is known that there is a quite strong and significant influence between parental attention on student learning discipline at SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi.

Abstract

Pada masa remaja perkembangan psikis atau mental sangat berperan penting. Salah satunya adalah kepercayaan diri. Dukungan ekonomi orang tua menjadi salah satu faktor dapat terbentuknya kepercayaan diri siswa, dengan demikian status sosial ekonomi orang tua berhubungan erat dengan kepercayaan diri siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan tingkat status sosial ekonomi orang tua, tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa, serta mengungkapkan pengaruh status sosial ekonomi orangtua terhadap tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa SMAN 6 Kota Jambi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode expost facto. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 288 dengan menentukan jumlah sampel menggunakan metode slovin didapat sampel sebanyak 74 siswa. Jenis data primer merupakan jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Jenis data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah data yang diambil langsung oleh siswa kelas X yang bersangkutan. Wawancara, dokumentasi, dan angket pada penelitian ini digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah uji persentase, uji normalitas, uji linearitas, analisis regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil analisis persentase, diketahui bahwa kualitas status sosial ekonomi orang tua siswa berada dalam kategori sedang karena memiliki nilai total persentase sebesar 42,2%. Sedangkan kualitas kepercayaan diri siswa termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan total persentase sebesar 42%. Dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000<0.05 maka nilai regresi sederhana yaitu 0,379. Haltersebut membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara status sosial ekonomi orang tua terhadap tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa di SMAN 6 Kota Jambi.

Abstract

Adolescence is full of problems and dynamics because this period will find the true identity and self. Adolescents who fail are identical to deviant behavior called juvenile delinquency. Where this juvenile delinquency is caused by peer conformity including culture, personality and social roles. This study aims to determine the relationship between peer conformity and juvenile delinquency at SMPN 7 Muaro Jambi. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The population in this study were students of grades VII and VIII of SMPN 7 Muaro Jambi. The sampling technique used random sampling technique with a total of 200 students. Data analysis used correlation through the SPSS IMB 22 program. The results of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between peer conformity and juvenile delinquency in students at SMPN 7 Muaro Jambi, with the results of the correlation analysis getting a result of 0.601 which was in a moderate correlation or capable relationship. The percentage results of the analysis of the peer conformity variable were 54.4% at a moderate level and the percentage results of juvenile delinquency were 76% at a high level.

Abstract

Self-control can direct a person to behave in a positive directionand in accordance with the norms that apply in society. Students who have good self-control will suppress the tendency to carry out negative behavior such as verbal aggression. This verbal aggressive behavior causes problems that can lead to fights and disharmonious relationship between students. This research aims to determine the effect of self-control on students’ verbal aggressive behavior. This research is a quantitative research using ex-post facto method with 50 students as research samples obtained through purposive sampling techniques. Analysis of research data using simple regression analysis techniques via SPSS IBM 25. The research results found that there was an influence of self-control on students’ verbal aggressive behavior at SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi. This result obtained from the Fcount value of 140.995 with Sig. 0.006 < 0.05. The value of R Square is 0.148, meaning that self-control has an influence of 14.8% on the verbal aggressive behavior of students at SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi.

Abstract

Given the general and specific problems that arise, a large number of students still prefer to spend their time playing games rather than working on what they are supposed to do so academic procrastination is very frequent. This happens because of the increasingly sophisticated times and all things can be accessed easily through mobile phones, one of which is to play online games. This study aims to reveal the intensity of mobile legends online game use and academic procrastination behavior in students of SMA N 11 Muaro Jambi. The study was limited to academic procrastination behaviors including delaying starting or completing tasks on time, starting or completing tasks later than planned, and engaging in other, more enjoyable activities. The sample in this study was 104 students of SMA N 11 Muaro Jambi consisting of classes X and XI. Likert scale questionnaires with multiple choice answers for two variables were used in this study. To ensure the relationship between the independent variable (X) and the dependent variable (Y), correlation research was conducted using a quantitative approach using the product moment method. This study shows a positive correlation between academic procrastination behavior and the level of mobile legends online game usage. The correlation analysis processing value of 0.589 falls into the moderate or adequate relationship category In addition, the percentage of students who use the mobile legends online game intensely (60%) falls into the High category, while the percentage of students who procrastinate on their academic work (38%) falls into the Low category. Therefore, students at SMA N 11 Muaro Jambi show less academic procrastination behavior and the less they use mobile legends online games

Abstract

Perencanaan karir merupakan proses yang dilakukan seseorang dalam menyusun dan melaksanakan tujuan dan jalur karir yang diinginkan. Agar mencapai perencanaan karir yang matang dibutuhkan dukungan sosial orang tua terhadap perencanaan karir siswa SMA N 8 Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengungkap adanya pengaruh dukungan sosial orang tua terhadap perencanaan karir siswa SMA N 8 Kota Jambi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif Expost Facto yang melibatkan variabel Independent (Dukungan Sosial Orang Tua) dan variabel Dependent (Perencanaan Karir). Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Kota Jambi. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 188 siswa, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik random sampling. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket dengan opsi jawaban menggunakan skala likert dengan lima alternatif jawaban. Data dianalisis menggunakan bantuan program SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dukungan sosial orang tua berada pada klasifikasi tinggi dengan persentase sebesar 86,31%, perencanaan karir siswa berada pada klasifikasi tinggi dengan persentase sebesar 62,58%, terdapat pengaruh yang positif dukungan sosial orang tua terhadap perencanaan karir siswa SMA N 8 Kota Jambi sebesar 23% dengan kategori cukup kuat. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan pengetahuan kepada guru BK di sekolah terkait dengan peran dukungan orang tua dalam perencanaan karir siswa. Dengan demikian, guru BK dapat menjalankan layanan BK secara efektif dalam memahami rencana karir siswa serta dalam memfasilitasi pengembangan minat dan keterampilan siswa.
