Abstract

This study aims to reveal the symbolism of love in the story of Panji Asmarabangun and Galuh Candrakirana as a cultural identity of Kediri and its contribution to understanding local cultural values. Using a descriptive qualitative research method with a textual study and semiotic interpretation approach, this study analyzes Panji manuscripts from the Javanese classical period, collected over a three-month period. The results show that the symbolism of love in the Panji story represents values of loyalty, sacrifice, and harmony, reflecting the life philosophy of the Kediri community. The interpretation of these symbols strengthens the position of the Panji story as a cultural heritage that plays an essential role in shaping the cultural identity and moral values of Javanese society.

Abstract

This research discusses the ratio decidendi in the Surabaya City District Court Decision Number 2073/Pid.Sus/2023/PN.Sby regarding the crime of digital pornography. The ratio decidendi or legal basis used by the judge plays an important role in reaching a fair decision, providing a deterrent effect to the perpetrator, and protecting the victim from the negative impacts of pornography. This research uses normative juridical methods with a case study approach and literature analysis, including Law no. 44 of 2008 concerning Pornography. The research results show that the ratio decidendi used does not only consider punitive aspects but also preventive and educative functions for society. The judge emphasized protecting public morals, protecting victims, as well as providing a strong message regarding the legal consequences of spreading pornographic content. It is hoped that this ratio decidendi can become a legal precedent for similar cases in the future and become the basis for developing more comprehensive regulations in the digital era.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran guru MGMP Sejarah melalui digitalisasi metode penelitian sejarah. Dengan memanfaatkan sumber-sumber digital seperti Delpher, Leiden University Libraries, dan Nationaal Archief, pelatihan daring dilaksanakan untuk memperkenalkan penggunaan teknologi dalam pengajaran. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi survei awal untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan peserta, diikuti dengan pelatihan interaktif dan praktik penggunaan sumber digital. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa 85% peserta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman, 90% merasa lebih percaya diri, dan 75% berencana mengintegrasikan sumber digital dalam pengajaran. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi dapat memperkaya materi ajar dan meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik. Kegiatan ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pengetahuan guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk pengajaran sejarah yang lebih efektif

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study examines the effect of differentiated learning strategies implemented in the Merdeka Curriculum compared to the 2013 Curriculum on student learning outcomes. Methodology: Using a quantitative comparative design, data were collected from report card scores of 36 students (20 from the Merdeka Curriculum and 16 from the 2013 Curriculum) and analyzed using an independent sample t-test. Main Findings: Findings reveal a significant improvement in learning outcomes for students under the Merdeka Curriculum (M=79.95) compared to the 2013 Curriculum (M=77.40), with a mean difference of 2.55 (p < 0.05). Novelty/Originality of this study: This research highlights the effectiveness of differentiation in Indonesian curriculum reform and provides evidence for policymakers to adopt student-centered strategies to enhance learning outcomes.

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara di Kelas 1 SDN Pagung 1 ditemukan permasalahan bahwa, banyak peserta didik yang kurang mengenal dengan lagu wajib nasional. Kurangnya pengetahuan lagu wajib nasional menyebabkan lunturnya nilai nasionalisme didalam diri peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu Mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan pengembangan media interaktif Game TTL (Teka-Teki Lagu) pada siswa kelas 1 SDN Pagung 1. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Hasil penelitian kali ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Hasil validasi yang diperoleh dari validasi media yaitu 96% dan validator materi 95%. Maka hasil rata-rata kevalidan media interakaktif game TTL (Teka-Teki Lagu) yaitu 95,5%. (2) Hasil kepraktisan yang diperoleh dari uji coba terbatas angket respon guru yaitu 95% dan angket respon siswa mendapatkan 90%. Maka rata-rata yang diperoleh dari kepraktisan uji coba terbatas yaitu 92,5 %. Sementara hasil kepraktisan dari uji coba luas yaitu dari angket respon guru yaitu 95% dan angket respon siswa mendapatkan 95%. Maka rata-rata yang diperoleh dari kepraktisan uji coba luas yaitu memperoleh 95%.(3) Hasil keefektifan yang diperoleh dari uji coba terbatas yaitu 100% dan uji coba luas mendapatkan 91,6%. Maka dapat disimpulkan media Interaktif game TTL (Teka-Teki Lagu) mata pelajaran seni budaya pada siswa kelas 1 SDN Pagung 1 dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif.

Abstract

This service article discusses the role of students in community service through teaching and socialization in Adan-Adan Village. This volunteer project demonstrates the value of community service in the context of higher education. This activity includes coaching, teaching, and preserving cultural heritage, with training methods that include planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. Adan-Adan Village conducted community service on March 18, 2024. Teaching activities were conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al Falah, SD Negri 1 Adan-Adan, and Taman Pendidikan Al Qur’an Annur. In order to encourage young people to spread the advantages of community service, this community service project aims to develop technological innovations. Community service activities in schools and TPQ can also provide better dedication to improving the quality of learning and teaching and developing student potential. Furthermore, cultural heritage preservation plays a critical role in preserving human cultural heritage and the legitimacy of a community's cultural identity. Therefore, the community is crucial to ensuring that cultural heritage is sustained. The success of this service activity is evident from the students' and the Adan-Adan Village community's active participation in it, according to the questionnaire provided by the service team.

Abstract

In Indonesian language learning, there are four language skills that students must master. These four language skills are interconnected and influence one another. Elementary school students need to learn aspects of language, one of which is reading skills. Reading skills themselves have a significant impact on all aspects of students’ activities, especially in learning activities. This research employs an experimental research method with a quantitative approach. The research design used in this experimental study is a Quasi Experimental Design in the form of a Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this study consists of all fourth-grade students at SDN Ngadi and all fourth-grade students at SDN Kranding, Mojo District, Kediri Regency. Based on the results of data analysis, an asymp. Sig value of 0.002 was obtained, which means that the significance value is smaller than 0.05, thus it can be concluded that there is a difference in learning outcomes between the control class and the experimental class. In addition, the difference can be seen from the average post-test scores obtained by the control class without treatment and the experimental class after treatment. The average post-test score in the control class was 78.7, while the average post-test score in the experimental class was 86.8. From this difference in averages, it can be concluded that the application of the Glenn Doman method in homonym material in the experimental class had an effect on students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

The issue of students’ learning outcomes in mathematics, particularly in the topic of standard unit volume measurement, which have not yet met the minimum completeness criteria, has become a problem in Grade 4 at SDN 7 Sugihwaras. Based on data triangulation, the main contributing factor is the abstract nature of the material, which leads to low student interest. In addition, teacher-centered learning further reduces students’ engagement in the learning process. This study aims to develop interactive multimedia to improve students’ learning outcomes. The research is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the Plomp development model. The Plomp model consists of five phases: preliminary investigation, design, realization/construction, test, evaluation and revision, and implementation. he results of the expert validation show that the interactive multimedia developed using Articulate Storyline 3 received a score of 92.3% from the subject matter expert and 96% from the media expert, both falling into the "Highly Valid" category. In terms of practicality, student response questionnaires yielded a score of 100%. Limited trials resulted in a score of 86.25, while wider trials yielded 87.83. Thus, this interactive multimedia meets the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness, and can be used to improve students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

Background: Indonesia has a rich cultural tradition that reflects the religious and social values of the local community. One of these traditions is Rebo Wekasan which is held on the last Wednesday of the month of Shafar. This tradition is still preserved by the people of Sacred Village, Manyar District, Gresik Regency, even though the times continue to change. Aims: This research aims to uncover the historical origins, symbolic meaning, and procession of the implementation of the Rebo Wekasan Tradition in the Holy Village, as well as understand the role of these traditions in strengthening the collective identity and religious expression of the community. Methods: The research uses a qualitative approach with ethnographic methods. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, direct observation of traditional activities, and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. Result: The results of the study show that the Rebo Wekasan Tradition has a close relationship with the history of the spread of Islam by Sheikh Jamaluddin Malik. This tradition contains the values of gratitude, spiritual protection, friendship, and almsgiving. The processions carried out included Qur'an sermons, tumpeng carnivals, joint prayers, istighosah, and people's markets. This tradition not only survives but also adapts to the social dynamics of modern society. Conclusion: The Rebo Wekasan tradition remains the cultural and spiritual binder of the people of the Holy Village. It becomes a meaningful space for social interaction and the preservation of local wisdom values across generations. Its sustainability proves that cultural traditions can survive and adapt in the midst of changing times.

Abstract

Potensi Warisan Budaya bendawi di Kabupaten Kediri adalah saksi dari perjalanan panjang sejarah Kabupaten Kediri dari masa ke masa. Sebagai saksi sejarah, seni Warisan Budaya merupakan rekaman sejaman dari peristiwa-peristiwa sejarah di Kabupaten Kediri. Sebagai rekaman sejarah (historical record), rusak, berubah terlebih lagi musnahnya potensi Warisan Budaya tentulah berdampak bagi hilang atau setidaknya berkurangnya kandungan informasi sejarah Kabupaten Kediri. Semakin banyak yang hilang atau/rusak semakin sedikit jejak-jejak masa lampau yang bisa diketahui oleh generasi sekarang dan mendatang. Oleh karenanya, pelestarian merupakan kata kunci (key word) untuk mempertahankan eksistensinya dalam menghadapi dinamika jaman. Guna itu maka hasil kegiatan pendataan ulang (reinventarisasi) potensi Cagar Budaya yang merupakan warisan budaya bendawi menjadi kekayaan Kabupaten Kediri. Kegiatan Pengabdian Warisan Budaya / Cagar Budaya Kabupaten Kediri Tahun 2016 di wilayah Kediri ini adalah pendataan ulang potensi kepurbakalaan Kabupaten Kediri. Hasil yang akan didapat tentunya dapat digunakan sebagai dasar dalam mengeluarkan rekomendasi tentang langkah-langkah yang perlu dilakukan ke depan. Hal ini mengingat potensi Cagar Budaya yang cukup baik untuk dapat dikembangkan sebagai objek penelitian budaya. Dengan adanya hasil pengabdian tersebut maka upaya-upaya terkait dengan pelestarian dan pemanfaatan dapat lebih dimaksimalkan lagi dan menambah literatur khususnya bagi mahasiswa Pendidikan sejarah Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri khususnya mata kuliah Studi Observasi. Dalam kegiatan penggalian penyelamatan ini dilakukan pengumpulan data selengkap mungkin, sehingga menggunakan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut. (1) Melakukan koordinasi dengan pihak-pihak terkait sebelum melakukan reinventarisasi di lapangan. (2) Wawancara dengan pihak-pihak terkait untuk mencari informasi tentang keberadaan objek inventarisasi. (3) Melakukan survei permukaan untuk mengetahui kondisi objek arkeologis. (4) Mendokumentasikan objek data arkeologis guna reinventarisasi. (5) Studi pustaka merupakan upaya mencari data sekunder untuk memperkaya kajian terhadap data primer.
