Abstract

This research aimed at describing and solving problems related to the use of monitoring book that did not work optimally. Monitoring book as a medium of communication between teachers and parents should be used as best as possible so that even when parents are busy with their work, they can still control their child’s development at home. After conducting research, problems were found in the field that the use of monitoring book was still not effective because there were several problems that needed to be solved. Through qualitative research methods with a descriptive analytical approach, it was found that problems with the use of monitoring book were caused by a lack of attention, concern, and participation of parents in supervising children studying at home. It was because parents did not sign the monitoring book as proof that parental control over their child’s learning at home did work. This research found that the reason for this was that the rules set at the beginning of the year were not implemented as they should have been.

Abstract

The Big Data era, characterized by the massive Volume, Velocity, and Variety of information, has revolutionized decision-making processes across various sectors. However, this paradigm shift has created significant methodological gaps, particularly related to population bias and the absence of standardized frameworks for validating non-probabilistic data representations. This study aims to bridge these gaps through a Systematic Literature Review, employing academic documentation and theoretical triangulation to synthesize both the challenges and solutions in the data acquisition phase. The findings identify three dominant data collection methods Web Scraping, Application Programming Interface, and the Internet of Things (IoT) as direct responses to the 3V characteristics of Big Data. Crucial insights reveal a persistent tension between the massive data volume and its validity, further complicated by technical risks (such as application programming interface rate limiting) and legal or ethical concerns (including compliance with Terms of Service and data privacy regulations). Research implementation in this era must therefore adopt a strategic framework, emphasizing essential practices such as personal identifiable information de-identification to ensure privacy rights and the application of Exponential Backoff techniques to overcome application programming interface quota limitations. This review presents a comprehensive synthesis of the pre-analysis phase of Big Data research, underscoring that the integrity and reliability of scientific findings in this era depend heavily on the adoption of rigorous methodological and ethical frameworks.

Abstract

The tendency of children to have introverted personalities is influenced by the parenting styles of their parents within the family environment. This study aims to determine the influence of authoritarian, democratic, and permissive parenting styles on children's introverted personalities. The method used was a quantitative statistical approach through a Likert scale questionnaire administered to 12 parents who were selected as samples based on purposive sampling. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with the help of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences. The results showed that the three types of parenting styles did not have a significant effect on children's introverted personalities (significance value > 0.05). Authoritarian and permissive parenting styles showed a positive relationship, while democratic parenting showed a negative relationship with introverted tendencies, but this was not statistically significant. The results of this study indicate that the formation of a child's introverted personality is not only influenced by parenting styles, but also by internal factors such as innate temperament, as well as external factors such as the social environment, emotional experiences, and the surrounding culture, which also have a significant influence. Parenting styles should be based on gentleness, wisdom, and exemplary behavior as described in the letter of Luqman. Parents need to understand that introverted children are not to be corrected, but to be understood and guided with love. Therefore, a spiritual, reflective, and respectful approach to parenting is key in accompanying their growth and development

Abstract

The paradigm of combining science and Islam is an effort to unite modern knowledge with Islamic religious values philosophically and epistemologically. Until now, higher education in the Islamic world has often separated religious knowledge from general knowledge, which has led to a separation in academic thinking and practice. This study aims to explore the philosophical basis for combining science and Islam, as well as its impact on the development of higher education. Using a qualitative method based on literature review, this study finds that combining science and Islam is not only theoretical but can also be applied in real life. This is done by considering revelation as a source of values and science as a tool for advancing civilization. This paradigm is capable of creating a comprehensive higher education model that focuses on the development of knowledge with ethics and is able to respond to global challenges without losing Islamic identity. Thus, the integration of science and Islam has great potential as a basis for developing curricula, learning strategies, and research directions in Islamic universities.

Abstract

This study comprehensively examines the problems and determining factors of Fiqh Learning Problems in Hajj and Umrah Material among Students. This study was conducted at Al-Bi'tsatul Islamiyah Islamic Boarding School. The research method used was descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques in this study included observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study were eighth-grade fiqh teachers, eighth-grade students, and the deputy head of the pesantren's Tsanawiyah. Data validity was ensured using source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that students have difficulty understanding the material on Hajj and Umrah due to the complexity of the rituals, limited learning media, and the dominance of lecture methods that are not interactive. The contributing factors include teachers' teaching experience that has not been balanced with innovation, limited time allocation, low student interest in learning, and a lack of facilities and infrastructure such as a miniature Kaaba. This study is expected to contribute to improving the quality of fiqh learning on hajj and umrah material in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study examines the political-social historiography of Islamic education in Minangkabau, focusing on the transmission of knowledge and the concept of talaqqī in the formation of the Islamic scholarly tradition in the Indonesian archipelago. The study aims to trace, reconstruct, and interpret the historical dynamics of Islamic education in Minangkabau within the context of socio-politics and the transmission of knowledge. This study adopts a qualitative approach with historiography and literature review. Through a historical-critical literature review approach, this study analyzes the dynamics of Islamic education from the 17th to the 20th century, starting from the traditional surau system to modern madrasahs such as Sumatera Thawalib and Diniyah School. The results of the study show that Islamic education in Minangkabau not only functions as a religious institution but also as a socio-political arena in shaping the intellectual awareness and Islamic identity of the community. The concept of talaqqī becomes the epistemological foundation of knowledge transmission, which guarantees the authority and blessings of knowledge through the spiritual relationship between teacher and student. In the modern context, talaqqī has been recontextualized into a system of values and scientific ethics that is relevant to the development of contemporary Islamic education. This study confirms that Islamic education in Minangkabau is a manifestation of the dialectic between tradition and modernity, as well as an integrative model of Islamic education based on sanad, spirituality, and rationality.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of Islamic religious education on the attitudes of moderation among students. This issue is based on the importance of teaching values of religious moderation, such as anti-violence, tolerance, commitment to nationality, fairness, self-confidence, and politeness. Schools, as the initial environment for character building, have a strategic role in internalizing these values to the younger generation. The objectives of this study are to determine the implementation of Islamic Religious Education in schools and to determine the effect of Islamic Religious Education on the attitudes of moderation among students. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The data collection technique for this research was in the form of distributing questionnaire instruments, then the data obtained was analyzed using simple linear regression through SPSS 25. The results of this study show that Islamic Religious Education has a strong positive impact on religious moderation attitudes, indicating that the variable of Islamic Religious Education contributes significantly to the formation of religious moderation, which includes aspects of tolerance, national commitment, anti-violence, fairness, confidence, and politeness. The implication is that Islamic Religious Education has a significant contribution in shaping moderate religious values among students. The next process with the T test produced a calculated T of 15.324, while the table T at a significance level of 5% was 1.708, so the calculated T > table T (15.324 > 1.708).  This indicates that there is a significant effect of Islamic Religious Education on the attitudes of moderation in religion among students

Abstract

The development of Islamic Education textbooks based on Contextual Teaching and Learning is designed to bridge the academic world with the realities of students' lives. With this approach, religious material becomes more meaningful and can reduce students' difficulties in understanding Islamic values. This study aims to create an Islamic Education textbook that uses the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach, which addresses learning difficulties. The method used is the Four-D model, which consists of four stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The results of the validators' validation of the media and material are divided into two parts, namely that the open book on Islamic Education has very high validity with a percentage. Meanwhile, the open book on Islamic Religious Education based on Contextual Teaching and Learning has very high validity. Regarding the practicality of the open book on Islamic Religious Education based on Contextual Teaching and Learning, based on the answers of teachers who teach this subject, the percentage reached 83.75%, which is classified as very practical. Meanwhile, their responses regarding the practicality of the open book on Islamic Religious Education based on Contextual Teaching and Learning reached 87.87%, which is classified as very practical. By developing textbooks on Islamic Religious Education based on Contextual Teaching and Learning, the teaching materials become closer to the daily experiences of students, so that abstract concepts feel more real and easier to understand. This approach also increases student engagement in learning because they can see the relevance of Islamic values in their lives, which ultimately reduces the difficulty in understanding and internalizing religious teachings

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of school bulletin boards as an effort to improve the numerical literacy of elementary school students. The background of this study stems from the low ability of students to understand numerical concepts contextually in the school environment. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with the research subjects being teachers and students at an elementary school in Surakarta. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis model. The results show that the use of school bulletin boards can increase students' interest in learning and numerical abilities through the presentation of information based on numbers, graphics, and everyday problems. Furthermore, bulletin boards serve as a collaborative medium that fosters students' creativity and critical thinking skills. This study implies the need for teachers to integrate school media into numerical learning as a contextual literacy strategy based on the learning environment.
