Abstract

Moodboard material is a fundamental component of learning in fashion design and production skills. This research aims to evaluate the impact of using video media on learning activities and student outcomes in moodboard material. The study involved 21 students as both the population and sample. A mixed-method approach was utilized, with a One Group Pretest - Posttest research design. Data collection was conducted through observation and tests (both written and performance-based). Analysis was performed descriptively and statistically using the chi-square test. The findings indicate that the implementation of video media was highly effective in enhancing student activities. Attitude assessments revealed that students consistently demonstrated responsibility, cooperation, mutual respect, discipline, honesty, and self-confidence during the learning process. Overall, assessing student attitudes will show whether the use of videos in learning fashion design supports the research objectives, namely creating a learning process that is more effective, innovative and related to technological developments. The increase in student learning outcomes in this research can be seen in increased understanding, increased technical skills, and more creative and innovative mood board quality after using videos in the learning process of making moodboards. The chi-square value was 0.674 ≥ 0.05, leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha) and the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho), indicating a significant improvement in student learning outcomes after the introduction of video media. Consequently, the use of video media resulted in better learning outcomes for moodboard material. The research concluded that the application of video media in moodboard lessons can enhance learning outcomes and creativity in both cognitive and psychomotor domains.   Abstrak Materi moodboard merupakan salah satu topik dalam pelajaran dasar-dasar keahlian desain dan produksi busana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran video terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi moodboard. Penelitian melibatkan 21 siswa sebagai populasi dan sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian One Group Pretest - Posttest. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan tes (tes tulis dan tes kinerja) dan dianalisis secara deskriptif serta menggunakan uji statistik chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media video pembelajaran berhasil dilaksanakan dengan sangat baik. Penilaian sikap siswa menunjukkan bahwa mereka telah menerapkan sikap bertanggung jawab, bekerja sama, saling menghargai, disiplin, jujur, dan percaya diri dengan baik selama proses pembelajaran. Secara keseluruhan, menilai sikap siswa akan menunjukkan apakah penggunaan video dalam pembelajaran desain busana mendukung tujuan penelitian yaitu menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang lebih efektif, inovatif dan berkaitan dengan perkembangan teknologi. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada penelitian ini terlihat pada peningkatan pemahaman, peningkatan keterampilan teknis, dan kualitas moodboard yang lebih kreatif dan inovatif setelah  menggunakan video dalam proses pembelajaran pembuatan moodboard. Nilai chi square sebesar 0,674 ≥ 0,05 mengindikasikan bahwa hipotesis alternatif diterima dan hipotesis nol ditolak, sehingga terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya media video pembelajaran pada materi moodboard. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media video dalam pembelajaran moodboard dapat hasil belajar dan kreativitas siswa dalam ranah kognitif dan psikomotorik.

Abstract

The fisheries department is one of the expertise programs in Vocational High Schools (VHS). Learning motivation towards the entrepreneurial intention of VHS students majoring in fisheries is still low. This is supported by the fact that some students do not know the relationship between entrepreneurial intentions and learning motivation, which can arouse students' intentions for entrepreneurship. Therefore, this research aims to see the effect of creativity and learning motivation on the entrepreneurial intentions of VHS students majoring in fisheries. This research is ex post facto research with a quantitative approach because the data is generated in the form of numbers and analyzed based on statistical analysis. The sample in this research was 100 students, and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results of this research explain that creativity has an influence on entrepreneurial intentions, and learning motivation has an influence on entrepreneurial intentions. This is evidenced through the results of the t-test where the sig value obtained is 0.003, whose value is much smaller than 0.05 (0.001 < 0.05) and the t-count is greater than the t-table (2.614 > 1.984), so it can be said that creativity has an influence on entrepreneurial intention, as well as the learning motivation variable where the t-count value is greater than the t-table (2.679 > 1.984). This research contributes to the literature by providing insight into the role of creativity and learning motivation in shaping student entrepreneurial intentions, which can inform the development of entrepreneurship education programs and policies.

Abstract

This article aims to dig deeper, analyzing the positive impact of applying Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) and Self-Efficacy (SE) on the development of students' employability skills in the vocational education environment. This research is quantitative research with a comparative causal approach; data collection was carried out with a survey approach through online forms on 202 students in vocational education expertise programs accounting and financial institutions (AFI), motorcycle engineering and business (MEB), automotive light vehicle engineering (ALVE), computer and network engineering (CNE) at four vocational schools in East Java. The research applies a closed questionnaire consisting of five options on the Likert scale. The respondents are voluntary and anonymous. The analysis testing is applied with SPSS analytical tool to answer the research hypothesis. The results showed that SRL and SE contribute simultaneously to shaping students' career readiness, with SRL influencing self-management and independent learning abilities. In contrast, SE motivates and strengthens confidence to apply these skills in the context of work.

Abstract

The low interest and ability of SMKN 1 Bendo Magetan students in "calculating" indicates a competency gap that can hinder future career prospects. In addition, the low inability of students to adapt and make the right career decisions after graduation suggests a gap in the career guidance system in schools. Based on these problems, the urgency of this study is to identify several fundamental challenges in student career development. This study aims to determine the effect of Technical Skill, Career Decision Self-Efficacy, and Peer Support as independent variables and Career Adaptability as the dependent variable. This type of research uses quantitative with a correlational approach. The study was conducted in the Construction and Housing Engineering Expertise Concentration of SMKN 1 Bendo Magetan with a population of 214 students. The sample in this study was 214 students using the Convenience Sampling technique. The data collection technique used a psychological scale, namely the Technical Skill scale, Career Decision Self-Efficacy and Peer Support, and the Career Adaptability scale, both in the form of a Likert scale. The findings show that technical skills, peer support, and career decision self-efficacy significantly and have a positive correlation affecting students' career adaptability. All three are competency constructs, not treatments. Each represents a different dimension in the development of individual potential. Technical skills, peer support, and self-confidence in career decision-making are essential determinants of career adaptability for students majoring in construction and housing engineering at SMKN 1 Bendo Magetan. The role of teachers is vital in improving aspects of students, one of which is career adaptability. In this case, teachers must also consider aspects outside student competency that can support student career adaptability. The researcher suggests that further research should examine other factors related to student career adaptability.

Abstract

Learning electrical measuring instruments at SMK Bendo Magetan still faces various challenges, especially in understanding theoretical concepts and mastering students' practical skills. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of applying the problem-solving learning model in improving student learning outcomes in electrical measuring instruments, both from cognitive and psychomotor aspects. The research used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest. The subjects of the study consisted of 34 students of class X TPUPT SMKN 1 Bendo Magetan who were selected using the total sampling technique. The research instruments included a multiple-choice objective test of 30 questions to measure conceptual understanding and a practical observation sheet to assess practical skills. Data were analyzed using a learning completeness test, effect size, and normalized gain to comprehensively measure improvements in learning outcomes. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes. The classical completeness analysis achieved the set target, with the effect size in the large category, indicating a strong impact of the applied learning model. The normalized gain test stated an increase in student abilities in the moderate category, especially in mastering the material of electrical measuring instruments. This study states that the problem-solving learning model has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes, conceptual understanding and practical skills. This model helps students understand the concept of electrical measurement in-depth and improves their ability to operate measuring instruments effectively. These findings significantly contribute to developing learning methods in vocational education, especially when facing technical and practical learning challenges.

Abstract

Kebakaran listrik dapat terjadi akibat panas yang dihasilkan oleh arus listrik pada penghantar dengan tahanan tertentu, yang pada tingkat tertentu dapat memicu kebakaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pemantauan berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) guna mendeteksi potensi kebakaran listrik pada medium voltage cubicle secara real-time. Sistem ini dirancang menggunakan ESP32 yang terintegrasi dengan sensor DHT22 untuk mendeteksi suhu dan kelembapan serta sensor ACS217 untuk mengukur arus listrik AC dan DC. Data yang diperoleh diproses dan diklasifikasikan dalam tiga kondisi: aman (LED hijau), peringatan (LED kuning), dan bahaya (LED merah), dengan tambahan buzzer sebagai alarm serta push button untuk mereset sistem. Perangkat lunak Node-RED, InfluxDB, dan Ngrok digunakan untuk menyimpan, mengolah, serta menampilkan data dalam bentuk dashboard yang memudahkan pengguna dalam pemantauan dan pengambilan keputusan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu membaca dan menampilkan data secara real-time dengan respons yang cepat dan akurat, memberikan peringatan dini bagi pekerja dalam mencegah kebakaran. Dengan demikian, sistem ini berpotensi untuk diimplementasikan sebagai solusi IoT dalam meningkatkan keselamatan industri, khususnya pada medium voltage cubicle.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMKN 1 Ngawi pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 40 siswa kelas XI TEI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan trainer dan job sheet pembelajaran mikrokontroler berbasis arduino uno pada mata pelajaran Teknik Pemograman Mikroprosesor dan Mikrokontroler; serta untuk mengetahui seberapa besar respon siswa terhadap trainer dan job sheet yang digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Kevalidan trainer dan job sheet dinilai dari dua aspek yaitu: aspek isi dan aspek konstruksi. Sedangkan penilaian siswa terhadap trainer dan job sheet didasarkan pada aspek kemudahan dan aspek ekonomis dalam pengoperasian trainer. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan menerapkan tujuh (7) tahapan dari 10 tahapan yang ada, di antaranya: (1) studi potensi dan masalah, (2) pengumpulan data, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi produk, (5) revisi desain, (6) uji coba produk, dan tahap terakhir (7) analisis data dan pelaporan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diketahui bahwa tingkat kevalidan trainer dari rata-rata penilaian dua aspek memperoleh prosentase total sebesar 91% dan job sheet sebesar 87,4%. Kemudian respon siswa terhadap penerapan trainer dan job sheet pembelajaran mikrokontroler berbasis Arduino uno memperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 90%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa trainer serta job sheet yang dikembangkan tergolong sangat valid dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

Abstract

Customer segmentation is a fundamental strategy for sustaining retention in network marketing businesses, where repeated transactions and multilayered relationships significantly impact long-term customer value. This study proposes a hybrid machine learning framework to classify at-risk customer segments—comprising regular customers, seasonal buyers, and churn-risk profiles—by integrating unsupervised clustering and supervised classification methods. A total of 36 engineered behavioral features were derived from longitudinal transaction data to capture spending behavior, recency, variability, and growth dynamics. Clustering algorithms including K-Means, Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering, and Gaussian Mixture Models were applied and evaluated using standard clustering validity indices: Silhouette Score, Davies–Bouldin Index, and Calinski–Harabasz Index. K-Means with six clusters produced the most interpretable and balanced segmentation outcome. Cluster relabeling was conducted to align with business-relevant categories, followed by supervised validation using classifiers such as Decision Tree, Gradient Boosting, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Random Forest and Support Vector Machine (SVM). Among these, SVM yielded the highest predictive accuracy (92.53%) and F1-Score (92.52). The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed hybrid approach in enhancing segmentation precision and facilitating early detection of potential churn in a dynamic marketing environment.
