Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis infografis menggunakan aplikasi Canva guna meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa di SMKN 6 Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang melibatkan tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media infografis berbasis Canva secara signifikan meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam memahami materi serta memperbaiki hasil belajar mereka. Siswa menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dan keterlibatan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Implementasi media ini tidak hanya membuat pembelajaran lebih menarik, tetapi juga membantu siswa dalam mengorganisasi informasi dengan lebih efektif. Dengan demikian, pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis infografis menggunakan Canva terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa di SMKN 6 Surabaya.

Abstract

Vocational education encourages students to achieve competency in order to make students more prepared when joining the world. In order to achieve this goal, vocational education applies the model of a teaching factory. In factory learning, students are taught to provide direct services and products suitable for sale to general consumers or the public. Fundamental values ​​such as responsibility, empathy, and cooperation in service to society are the keys to this learning. The research aims to determine the simultaneous influence of responsibility and empathy on customer satisfaction in teaching factory learning at UPJ Vehicle Engineering Vocational High School 1 Bendo. The research used a sample of 67 class XII students at Vocational High School 1 Bendo using a Likert scale questionnaire with instrument validity test results using V-Aiken and reliability testing using Cronbach alpha. The research uses multiple linear regression analysis for the independent variables (responsibility and empathy) and the dependent (customer satisfaction) variables. The results of the Anova significance research were 0.000, and the calculated F value was 358.402. Then, the R2 value was 0.964. This shows that responsibility and empathy significantly influence customer satisfaction, with a percentage of 96.4%. Hopefully, this research can become the basis for further policy-making.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the Peer Tutoring learning strategy on students' conceptual understanding. Peer tutoring is a learning strategy in which students teach and assist their classmates in understanding the material being taught. This research was conducted at SMKN 1 Lamongan with a sample of tenth-grade students divided into two groups: the experimental group, which implemented the Peer Tutoring strategy, and the control group, which followed learning without peer tutoring. The results of the study show that there is a difference in conceptual understanding among students who used the Peer Tutoring strategy, as evidenced by higher learning achievement. This indicates that the Peer Tutoring strategy is effective in enhancing students' conceptual understanding. Through peer interaction and teaching, students become more actively engaged in understanding the material and can explain concepts to one another in a way that is easier to comprehend. This study concludes that the implementation of Peer Tutoring can be an effective alternative for improving learning outcomes, especially in enhancing students' conceptual understanding of the subject matter.

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif dalam pendidikan menjadi salah satu strategi penting untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa guru yang belum mampu menggunakan media interaktif seperti Quizizz dengan baik, terutama menggunakan akun belajar.id yang disediakan pemerintah. Oleh karena itu diperlukan workshop optimalisasi Quizizz dengan akun belajar.id untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam membuat media interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskripsi dengan menggunakan desain One-Group pretest-posttest dan survei dengan angket tertutup menggunakan google form. Dan korespondennya adalah seluruh guru dari dua konsentrasi keahlian di SMK Negeri 1 Jrengik sebanyak 31 guru. Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan kemampuan guru untuk membuat media pembelajaran setelah workshop. Terbukti hasil pretest diperoleh rata-rata 41,77 dan posttest rata-rata 77,70; Gain score 35,93 dan N-Gain nilai 0,62 menunjukkan kategori sedang. Selain itu, dari analisis angket menunjukkan bahwa guru memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang elemen teknis, inovasi dalam pembelajaran, dan evaluasi yang efektif dengan Quizizz. Selain itu, partisipasi dan minat belajar siswa meningkat sebagai hasil penggunaan Quizizz dalam proses pembelajaran. Perlu adanya workshop lanjutan untuk mengoptimalkan akun belajar.id guru dan aplikasi digital lain yang dapat memberikan pembelajaran menarik, interaktif dan menyenangkan. Penelitian ini masih terdapat kekurangan yaitu perlu adanya penelitian kuantitatif dari penggunaan Quizizz terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Jrengik.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of learning motivation and learning creativity on students' interest in entrepreneurship at Kartanegara Wates Vocational School, Kediri Regency in Teaching Factory learning. This type of research is quantitative research with 80 students as research subjects. The data collection technique for this research uses a questionnaire. The data analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression. The research results showed that the partial test (t-test) on learning motivation was .000 < .050 and for creativity, it was .00 < .050. Meanwhile, the results obtained from the F-test show a value of .000 < .050. The determination test results obtained a value of 53.7%. The findings in this research show that learning motivation has a significant effect on interest in entrepreneurship. Additionally, creativity also shows a significant influence on interest in entrepreneurship. Learning motivation and creativity simultaneously have a significant influence on the entrepreneurial interest of Kartanegara Wates Vocational School students.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills and inquiry skills are necessary for vocational school students to stimulate innovation abilities because vocational school graduates are prepared to immediately enter the world of work or create their jobs. The research goal is to analyze the influence of critical thinking skills and inquiry skills on the biosolar innovation abilities of class Light Vehicle Engineering students. It is a descriptive type of research that applies a quantitative method. It uses an ex-post de facto design. The population in this study was class X TKR  skill competency students at SMK Negeri 1 Jiwan, totaling 129 students. With a sample size of 98 students. This study used a simple random sampling technique. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire with multiple linear regression analysis as the data analyzing technique. The results show that there is a significant partial and simultaneous influence of the critical thinking skills and inquiry skills variables on the biosolar innovation abilities of the class The suggestion from this research is that schools are expected to be able to adopt policies that can stimulate students' biosolar innovation abilities which are influenced by critical thinking skills and inquiry skills.

Abstract

Skalabilitas server menjadi faktor penting dalam menjaga kinerja layanan berbasis web seiring meningkatnya jumlah pengguna. Salah satu pendekatan untuk meningkatkan skalabilitas adalah dengan menggunakan load balancing, di mana HAProxy menjadi salah satu pilihan yang banyak dimanfaatkan karena keandalannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan kinerja server dengan implementasi HAProxy menggunakan algoritma load balancing Round-Robin. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan meliputi proses instalasi dan konfigurasi HAProxy, pengujian performa server dengan Apache JMeter, serta evaluasi distribusi beban kerja. Hasil penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan HAProxy dengan algoritma Round-Robin efektif dalam menyebarkan beban secara merata dan secara signifikan mempercepat waktu respons server jika dibandingkan dengan sistem yang tidak menerapkan load balancing. Selain itu, kemampuan untuk menambah atau mengurangi jumlah server backend tanpa mempengaruhi kelancaran layanan yang ada menjadi salah satu keunggulan yang sangat menonjol. Oleh karena itu, penerapan HAProxy dengan algoritma Round-Robin direkomendasikan sebagai solusi efektif dalam meningkatkan skalabilitas server, terutama untuk sistem yang menangani lalu lintas tinggi dan membutuhkan distribusi beban yang optimal.

Abstract

The low interest and ability of SMKN 1 Bendo Magetan students in "calculating" indicates a competency gap that can hinder future career prospects. In addition, the low inability of students to adapt and make the right career decisions after graduation suggests a gap in the career guidance system in schools. Based on these problems, the urgency of this study is to identify several fundamental challenges in student career development. This study aims to determine the effect of Technical Skill, Career Decision Self-Efficacy, and Peer Support as independent variables and Career Adaptability as the dependent variable. This type of research uses quantitative with a correlational approach. The study was conducted in the Construction and Housing Engineering Expertise Concentration of SMKN 1 Bendo Magetan with a population of 214 students. The sample in this study was 214 students using the Convenience Sampling technique. The data collection technique used a psychological scale, namely the Technical Skill scale, Career Decision Self-Efficacy and Peer Support, and the Career Adaptability scale, both in the form of a Likert scale. The findings show that technical skills, peer support, and career decision self-efficacy significantly and have a positive correlation affecting students' career adaptability. All three are competency constructs, not treatments. Each represents a different dimension in the development of individual potential. Technical skills, peer support, and self-confidence in career decision-making are essential determinants of career adaptability for students majoring in construction and housing engineering at SMKN 1 Bendo Magetan. The role of teachers is vital in improving aspects of students, one of which is career adaptability. In this case, teachers must also consider aspects outside student competency that can support student career adaptability. The researcher suggests that further research should examine other factors related to student career adaptability.

Abstract

Learning electrical measuring instruments at SMK Bendo Magetan still faces various challenges, especially in understanding theoretical concepts and mastering students' practical skills. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of applying the problem-solving learning model in improving student learning outcomes in electrical measuring instruments, both from cognitive and psychomotor aspects. The research used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest. The subjects of the study consisted of 34 students of class X TPUPT SMKN 1 Bendo Magetan who were selected using the total sampling technique. The research instruments included a multiple-choice objective test of 30 questions to measure conceptual understanding and a practical observation sheet to assess practical skills. Data were analyzed using a learning completeness test, effect size, and normalized gain to comprehensively measure improvements in learning outcomes. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes. The classical completeness analysis achieved the set target, with the effect size in the large category, indicating a strong impact of the applied learning model. The normalized gain test stated an increase in student abilities in the moderate category, especially in mastering the material of electrical measuring instruments. This study states that the problem-solving learning model has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes, conceptual understanding and practical skills. This model helps students understand the concept of electrical measurement in-depth and improves their ability to operate measuring instruments effectively. These findings significantly contribute to developing learning methods in vocational education, especially when facing technical and practical learning challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of Self-Regulated Learning to students’ creative thinking skills in modern hair bun styling through a Systematic Literature Review approach. The urgency of this research lies in the vocational education demand for learners who are not only technically skilled but also capable of demonstrating creativity in solving aesthetic problems and producing original modern hair bun designs. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review guided by the PRISMA 2020 protocol, including identification, screening, eligibility, and synthesis of national and international indexed articles published between 2019 and 2024 related to Self-Regulated Learning and creative thinking skills. The findings indicate that Self-Regulated Learning has a consistently positive influence on creativity, particularly through metacognitive processes such as planning, strategy monitoring, and reflection. Results also highlight key supporting factors, including scaffolding, project-based learning, and digital learning environments, while barriers include limited instructional support and unsupportive learning conditions. The study concludes that integrating Self-Regulated Learning systematically into vocational aesthetic education is essential to enhance students’ creativity and recommends improving scaffolding practices and implementing project-based tasks as effective strategies.
