Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis nilai budaya dan sejarah rumah lontiok di Pulau Belimbing, Kampar, Riau. Rumah lontiok sebagai warisan budaya tak benda memiliki keunikan arsitektur dan nilai filosofis yang mendalam bagi masyarakat setempat. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini mengungkap makna simbolis dari setiap elemen bangunan, serta hubungannya dengan kehidupan sosial dan kosmologi masyarakat Kampar. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap upaya pelestarian rumah lontiok sebagai bagian dari identitas budaya bangsa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas kecenderungan anak-anak yang lebih tertarik pada permainan di telepon genggam, sehingga permainan rakyat tradisional semakin terlupakan. Permainan rakyat ini penting untuk budaya dan dapat mendukung perkembangan emosional dan kognitif anak. Permainan rakyat ini mampu memberikan pengaruh terhadap anak mulai dari dapat menumbuhkan jiwa kebersamaan, gotong royong, dan menigkatkan kecerdasan emosional.

Abstract

Menurut Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI), khazanah berarti tempat menyimpan harta benda (kitab-kitab, barang berharga, dan sebagainya). Khazanah dapat berupa harta benda seperti etnoteknologi, bisa juga berupa aset tidak berwujud seperti bahasa dan dialek, ritual, permainan rakyat, dan kesenian. Masyarakat melayu memiliki bahasa dan dialek, ritual, permainan rakyat, dan kesenian yang berharga dan harus dilestarikan. Artikel ini akan mengenalkan khazanah Masyarakat Melayu kepada remaja demi melestarikan keindahan budaya Melayu.

Abstract

The importance of observation report text writing skills among vocational students cannot be underestimated, as it is a basic competency that supports the development of their academic literacy. However, at SMK Negeri 2 Pekanbaru, several obstacles were found such as low student motivation and lack of time for effective learning, which hindered the mastery of observation report text writing skills. This study aims to explore the effect of ChatGPT-based Constructivist Learning model in improving observation report text writing skills. Using mixed methods with sequential explanatory design, this study involved 68 students who were divided into experimental and control groups. The results showed that the ChatGPT-based Constructivist Learning model significantly improved the skill of writing observation report text compared to the conventional method. Qualitative data analysis also supported the quantitative findings that students and teachers faced challenges in digital literacy such as difficulties in understanding the user interface or how to interpret the feedback provided. However, this technology has great potential to improve writing skills if implemented well. This study concludes that the integration of ChatGPT-based Constructivist Learning model in learning can improve observation report text writing skills, although habituation in utilizing digital literacy is needed so that it can be implemented effectively and continuously.

Abstract

This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The purpose of this research is to describe Kurt Lewin's inner conflict of approaching, moving away, approaching and moving away. Based on the results of the research "Analysis of Inner Conflict in the Film Pecopylin Cahaya Sutrada Wregas Bhanuteja", the author found 43 forms of inner conflict and 43 conflict resolutions for Suryani characters. The conflicts consisted of 3 approaching-approaching conflicts, 11 approaching-away conflicts, and 31 approaching-away conflicts. From these results, approach-away conflict was the most dominant type of conflict with 31 conflicts experienced by Suryani. This reflects the complexity of the emotions and situations that Suryani faces as a victim of sexual harassment in her efforts to seek justice amidst social and cultural pressure. Conflict resolution consists of 5 positive valences, 32 negative valences, and 6 neutral valences. The many negative valences found in the Syriac conflict resolution illustrate the difficult and challenging reality for victims of sexual violence. This situation reflects the social pressure, distrust and stigma faced by victims, so that many decisions they make result in negative consequences, both emotional and social.

Abstract

This research aims to determine students' ability to write drama texts before and after using regional tourism videos, as well as to analyze the effect of using tourist videos on the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMK Multi Mekanik Masmur. This research is expected to provide insight into the effectiveness of using video as a learning medium in improving students' drama writing skills. This type of research is quantitative research with a pre-experimental method using a pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 30 students selected by purposive sampling from a population of 195 students. Data was obtained through writing tests, questionnaires and observations, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical tests. The research results show that students' ability to write drama texts before using regional tourism videos has an average pretest score of 63.89, which indicates that there is a level of understanding that needs to be improved. After using regional tourism videos in the form of the Siak Palace and the Sang Nila Museum, the average posttest score increased to 86.57, which reflects significant progress in students' ability to write drama texts. Hypothesis testing shows that the t-count of 16.9 is higher than the t-table of 1.70, with a significance threshold of 0.05 and degrees of freedom (df) of 29. This indicates that students' writing skills before and after receiving regional tourism video treatment are significantly different.

Abstract

Language skills are divided into receptive skills, i.e. listening and reading, and productive skills, i.e. speaking and writing. This study aims to overcome students' low interest in reading, which results in limitations in identifying the intrinsic elements of short story texts. The factors that cause this are a less supportive learning environment, teacher-centred learning methods and limited access to interesting reading materials. Using a quantitative experimental method, this research applied a one-group pretest-posttest design on students of Class XI B Madrasah Aliyah Imam Ibnu Katsir. An innovative strategy in the form of a summarising task technique was used as a learning treatment to produce post-test scores. The results showed a 50% increase in students' comprehension, with an average pre-test score of 4.3 increasing to 7.3 on the post-test, which was classified as moderate based on N-gain analysis. This strategy proved effective in improving students' ability to identify the essential elements of short story texts. The recommendations for other researchers can further develop technology-enhanced learning strategies. The aim is to increase student engagement, as well as long-term research to more fully evaluate the effectiveness of this method.

Abstract

Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) has eroded globally, particularly which related to ecology. Even though TEK has been recognized as crucial for a sustainable development perspective. This study aims to explore TEK of Orang Suku Laut (OSL) Konky Strait in Lingga about the utilization of mangrove ecosystem. Research area is Konky Strait which is a part of Lingga Regency, Riau Archipelago Province. Data was collecting by using document study, field study, in-depth interviews, meetings and group interviews, participatory and non- participatory observation techniques. There are at least eight species of flora and 17 species of fauna that are known by OSL in Konky Strait. Taxonomically, flora which has been utilized are classified in 6 families, while fauna consist of 15 families. The types of flora are generally utilized for firewood, building materials, fisheries infrastructure (fishing gear) and traditional medicine for health. While the whole fauna species used as food sources. Almost all mangrove flora parts are used such as trunk, branches, leaves, flowers, fruits, shoots, and roots. It can be concluded that Orang Suku Laut Konky Strait have traditional ecological knowledge in the management of mangrove ecosystems in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan guna menganalisis hubungan di antara gaya belajar siswa dengan ketepatan siswa dalam menentukan unsur intrinsik teks fabel. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada SMP Negeri 36 Pekanbaru pada siswa kelas VII. Penellitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan tipe riset hubungan. Teknik pengambilan data yang dilakukan melalui tes dan nontes. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan ialah angket untuk mengetahui gaya belajar siswa dan lembar tes untuk mengetahui keahlian siswa dalam menentukan unsur intrinsik teks fabel. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan statistik berbantuan SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Hasil temuan penelitian ini yakni tak ada korelasi yang signifikan antara gaya belajar siswa dengan keahlian menentukan usnur intrinsik teks fabel oleh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 36 Pekanbaru. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan perolehan nilai Asymp. Sig. memperoleh nilai sebesar 0,684 yang artinya nilai Asymp. Sig. > 0,05. Maka dari itu bisa disimpulkan bahwasanya H0 diterima dan H1 ditolak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang berjudul Hubungan Antartokoh dalam Film Surga yang Tak Dirindukan 3. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk hubungan antartokoh dalam film Surga yag Tak Dirindukan 3. Manfaat penelitian ini adalah (1) secara teoritis, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya pengkajian sastra Indonesia, khususnya menambah pemahaman, pengetahuan tentang film, hubungan antartokoh, dan sosiologi sastra (2) secara praktis, penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi informasi kepada pembaca tentang hubungan antartokoh yang digunakan oleh pengarang dalam film Surga yang Tak Dirindukan 3. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa dialog yang berkaitan dengan hubungan antartokoh. Sedangkan sumber data merupakan tempat data yang diperoleh. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui pencarian menggunakan mesin pencarian Google, dengan sumber berasal dari situs web Dailymotion, dengan durasi film 01:58:24 detik. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, simak dan catat. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penyimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan 40 data hubungan antartokoh dalam film Surga yang Tak Dirindukan 3. Ditemukan 14 data bentuk hubungan kekeluargaan, 11 bentuk hubungan cinta kasih, 11 bentuk hubungan pertemanan, 3 data bentuk hubungan kerja sama, dan 1 data bentuk hubungan pendidikan.
