Abstract

Digital storytelling is an important component of early childhood education (ECE) because it can help capture and expand their imagination. The purpose of this study was to explain early childhood teachers' beliefs about the use of digital storytelling in their classrooms. This research was conducted in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Phenomenological methods are used to understand and describe these phenomena and the essence of ECE teachers' experiences. The results showed that the experience of ECE teachers in learning using digital storytelling in the classroom had many benefits in improving the quality of learning. This study provides guidelines for ECE teachers on how technology can be integrated into children's learning activities using digital storytelling. The results of this study can also contribute to teachers to better understand the impact of using such technology to improve the development of technological literacy in early childhood education.

Abstract

Warna adalah elemen penting dalam pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran. Pemilihan warna dalam pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran merupakan hal penting yang turut menentukan kelayakan sebuah program paket multimedia. Penggunaan warna yang sesuai dalam multimedia pembelajaran dapat membangkitkan motivasi, perasaan, perhatian, dan kesediaan siswa dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman yang baik dalam pemilihan warna sangat diperlukan bagi para pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran, termasuk multimedia pembelajaran Agama Islam.Pewarnaan terhadap unsur-unsur multimemedia harus memperhatikan keselarasan (harmoni) warna. Unsur-unsur multimedia antara lain:  teks, gam bar, latar belakang (background), dan symbol-simbol. Pewarnaan yang baik terhadap  unsur-unsur tersebut dapat memberikan kesan yang kuat dan mempermudah mengingat bagi siswa terhadap materi-materi yang terkandung dalam multimedia pembelajaran.

Abstract

Early literacy is a child's ability to interact with information across media, forming a foundation for cognitive, language, and social development. Research highlights that bedtime storytelling plays an important role in stimulating children's literacy development. However, do parents have the same perspective? This study aims to explore parents' perception of bedtime storytelling as a tool to foster early literacy in children. A mix method was used, with data collected through surveys containing indicators to measure parental perceptions. These findings reveal three important points: First, parents generally have the same and conceptually accurate that bedtime storytelling is important. Second, there is variation in parents' understanding of early literacy, with few fully understanding the concept. Third, parents have a positive perception of the role of bedtime storytelling in building early literacy, although they face challenges such as limited leisure time and a lack of effective storytelling techniques. The study emphasizes the importance of proactive efforts by parents and other stakeholders to overcome these barriers and include bedtime storytelling as a routine habit. This practice can serve as a powerful and fun way to improve children's early literacy skills, fostering a lifelong love of learning and reading.

Abstract

Arabic is the lenguage of Quran. Nahwu-shorof is a tools that is very important in Arabic. Unfortunately, studied Arabic, especially nahwu-shorof, for Indonesian people is not easy. Therefore, the nahwu-shorof material should be designed simply. The learning materials should be used to learn independently and suitable with the development of technology, information, and communication. This research is a Research and Development (R & D) model. The model of development used in this research is ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, and Evaluation). The product specification from this research is application nahwu shorof wazan games which working on smartphone based Android. The results of validation indicated that in general the game wazan based android have good values. All aspects of assessment: the interface, level of difficulty, constancy, hyperlinks function, speed, interactivity, and sound function have a good and normal values.

Abstract

Calistung (reading, writing and numeracy) learning in early childhood controversy among the public because it is considered a bad impact on child's mental. RA Babul Jannah Sambas is one of the early childhood institutions that implement Calistung learning in early childhood by applying a variety of media learning. This study aims to describe empirically the use of variations of instructional media in teaching Calistung in RA Babul Jannah Sambas. This research use qualitative approach with data collecting technique through interview, observation and documentation. The results of this study concluded that: 1) the media is varied, i.e. human, APE, and programs/activities. Techniques variety of media consisting of: a) vary some of the learning media in all meetings, b) varying one media with several learning methods, c) use different media every day, d) using the media in the time index, and e) varying the use of media outside the classroom. Whereas, the activities of the variety of media in the learning process consists of planning, preparation, implementation and evaluation; 2) the use of a variety of instructional media in teaching Calistung have a considerable impact both on the development of early childhood; 3) the advantages of the use of a variety of media including sparking the interest and attention of the child, train the skills Calistung, and minimize the flavor saturated and bored. While, the drawback is the need to provide different media every day, while the number of media available is very limited. The efforts of teachers in overcoming the shortcomings, such as the teacher using the division of the group and turn in a media play.

Abstract

This article aims to describe Munif Chatib thinking about materials in parenting education. This type of research is literature that emphasizes the significance of processed philosophically and theoretically used to examine the primary and secondary data sources. The process of data collection is done by reading the symbolic and semantic level, recording the data card, and coding. The data were analyzed descriptively through data reduction, data classification, data display. The analytical method used is Verstehen (understanding). The results showed that: (1) Chatib thoughts about parenting education materials based on the perspective of children and parents. He saw that the child is born it brings nature of goodness, and the development is influenced by genes and environment. Being a parent it is a precious grace of God and a golden opportunity for a good charity. Therefore, do not be afraid to get married and have children. Such views inspired and by integrating various fields of science, namely religion (al-Qur'an-Hadith and sirrah), developmental psychology, child psychology, and recent findings about the brain, nerves, and intelligence. (2) parenting education materials include: changing the paradigm of a child, the child's ability to explore, discover the talent of children, choosing the right school, and became a teacher for children.

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengembangan produk media bermain PVC Tubes dalam pembelajaran anak usia 3-4 tahun dengan menggunakan model ADDIE dan mengetahui mengetahui kelayakan produk media bermain PVC Tubes dalam pembelajaran motorik Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Inmplementation, and Evaluation). Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan media bermain PVC Tubes (1) Pengembangan proses pengembangan media bermain PVC Tubes yang dilakukan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementaition, and Evaluation) melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, observasi, wawancara, pembuatan instumen penliaian produk, pembuatan draft desain produk, pembuatan aturan dan petunjuk teknis cara memasang dan memainkan media bermain, peninjauan oleh dosen pembimbing, dosen ahli, dan pendidik PAUD sebagai user. (2) Kelayakan media bermain Sangat Baik (SB) Menurut penilaian pendidik PAUD sebagai user menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan media bermain PVC Tubes Sangat Baik (SB) dan presentase keidealan sebesar 89,3% dan menurut hasil respon uji coba kelayakan media bermain PVC Tubes Baik (B) Berdasarkan hasil penilaian kualitas keseluruhan aspek maka produk media bermain PVC Tubes dalam pembelajaran motorik anak usia 3-4 tahun ini dikatakan Layak dengan kategori Baik (B).

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini dilakukan untuk (1) Mengetahui, pengembangan buku panduan outboundkids kelompok usia 5-6 tahu ndengan menggunakan model Borg dan Gall, (2) mengetahui kualitas buku panduan outbound kids berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, ahli media, pendidik anak usia dini, dan instruktur outbound. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan Borg dan Gall dengan 10 langkah, tetapi peneliti hanya terbatas hingga 5 tahap, antaralain (1) Penelitian dan pengembangan data. (2) Perencanaan. (3) Pengembangan produk awal. (4) uji coba lapangan awal. (5) Revisi hasil uji lapangan awal. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan menunjukan bahwa (1) Berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, kualitas buku Sangat Baik (SB) dengan skor 51 dari 55 dan persentase keidealan 92.72%. (2) Menurut penilaian ahli media, kualitas buku Sangat Baik (SB) dengan skor 54 dari 55 dan persentase keidealan sebesar 98%. (3) Sedangkan menurut penilaian pendidik anak usia dini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas buku Sangat Baik (SB) dengan skor 101,7 dari 115 dan persentase keidealan sebesar 81.44% (4) Dan menurut instruktur outbound menunjukkan bahwa kualitas buku Baik (B) dengan skor 64.5 dari 80 dan persentase keidealan sebesar 76%.

Abstract

Learning at RA Masyithoh X Karangmojo is still fixed on the teacher as the center so that children's interactions in the learning process are still lacking and the scientific process skills possessed by the child are still abstract. This research is a classroom action research with 31 subjects of B2 RA Masyithoh X Karangmojo Gunungkidul children. The study was conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection methods in this study used observation sheet guides and interview sheets. Data analysis techniques using qualitative data and quantitative data. Success criteria in improving children's science process skills through the application of experimental methods are 80% of the number of children. The results showed: 1) the results of science process skills before taking action in either category are 0% of the number of children; 2) the application of the experimental method is proven to be able to improve the science process skills of the first cycle The application of the experimental method falls into the sufficient category (C) then the application of the experimental method in the second cycle belongs to either category (B); 3) the improvement of science process skills respectively in cycle I and cycle II reached the good category (B), in cycle I action increased to 38.71% of the number of children, so that there was an increase in before cycle I action amounted to 38.71% and cycle II reached the good and very good categories of 93.54% of the number of children, an increase of 54.83% from the actions of cycle I to cycle II.

Abstract

This study aims to map the distribution of research in the field of early childhood education based on author affiliation, methodology and research themes. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques used in the research is documentation or document review, supported by interviews to find out the publication of research results in the Golden Age Journal, whether it is in accordance with scientific journal accreditation standards and building research mapping and scientific journal publications. With the Content Analysis, the following results were found: The Golden Age Journal has also implemented online journal management using the Open Journal System (OJS) version 3, by referring to the national journal accreditation guidelines, but it has not fully met the journal accreditation standards so it needs to be improved, by expanding it. the aspirations of the area both authors and managers, as well as the development of research themes that have good novelty.
