Abstract

Penilaian sering dilakukan untuk melihat potensi mahasiswa dan tidak hanya berfokus pada penilaian kognitif saja, tetapi juga afektif dan psikomotorik. Setiap dosen dan guru harus memiliki pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai penilaian karena hasil dari penilaian proses pembelajaran menunjukkan ketercapaian kriteria dan standar kompetensi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan (Literature Research) dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Data diambil dari buku, artikel, atau website kementerian pendidikan dan kebudayaan. Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah teknik penilaian apa saja yang digunakan dalam pendidikan agama Islam, baik di perguruan tinggi maupun di sekolah. Dengan cara ini, akan menghasilkan jawaban metode penilaian pengetahuan dasar pendidikan agama Islam di perguruan tinggi biasanya menggunakan penilaian kinerja, penilaian portofolio, dan proyek. Hal ini sama halnya dengan apa yang diterapkan di sekolah, namun demikian umumnya penerapan ini lebih tepat digunakan di perguruan tinggi karena tugas-tugas yang diberikan oleh dosen kepada mahasiswa mengarah pada pemecahan masalah di dunia nyata. Implikasi dalam penelitian ini penulis berharap dapat dimanfaatkan bagi para pembaca untuk mengetahui tentang penilaian pengetahuan dasar.

Abstract

Purpose – This study evaluates the impact of distance learning on early childhood development through a meta-analysis, focusing on the effect size of various practices, identifying potential publication biases, and conducting subgroup analyses based on electronic devices, intervention duration, and specific skills taught. Methods/Design/Approach – A meta-analysis was conducted on 87 studies published between 2010 and 2021, selected from databases including Science Direct, Scopus, and PubMed. Comprehensive Meta-Analysis 3.0 software was employed for effect size calculations, variance analyses, and subgroup analyses, alongside publication bias tests using Funnel Scatter Plot, Clip and Fill, Rosenthal, and Orwin’s Fail-Safe N methods. Findings – The overall effect size of distance learning on early childhood development was small (0.186) with significant heterogeneity (I² = 87.358%). Subgroup analysis revealed that mobile-based learning had a larger effect size (0.888) compared to desktop-based learning (0.028). The duration of intervention did not significantly affect outcomes, although longer interventions showed slightly better results. Cognitive and language skills benefited most from distance learning, while other skills like self-efficacy and music showed minimal or negative effects. Originality/Value – This study offers a comprehensive analysis of distance learning's effectiveness in early childhood education, addressing gaps in the literature regarding the impact of device types and intervention durations. The findings contribute valuable insights for the development of more effective distance learning platforms for young children. Practical Implications – The findings suggest that mobile-based distance learning is more effective for early childhood education than desktop-based approaches. Educators and policymakers should prioritize mobile-friendly platforms and focus on cognitive and language development for early learners. Further improvements in distance learning strategies are needed, particularly for non-cognitive skills, to enhance early childhood learning outcomes. Abstract

Misuh (swearing) is one of the identities of people in the world in general. Misuh culture is not only practiced by adults but also by children. This ethnographic study aims to explore the impact of misuh (swearing) culture on children's emotional development with parents who work as TKW (female workers). The research method uses a type of qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The research subjects were 5 children who had the intensity of saying the word misuh most often in South Malang. Collecting research data by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was performed using code-based analysis and case-based analysis in Qualitative Data-Mining (QDM) at Child Welfare (CW). The results showed that the misuh words uttered by the participants were jancuk, bedhes, asu, kirek, taek, gendeng, kontol, and patek. Semantically, these words are a harsh and taboo language for the speech tradition. However, the purpose of using these words has different meanings depending on the speaker's context. The use of the misuh words (swear words) spoken by the participants can express the meaning of annoyance, cursing, greetings, patience, intimacy, strength, jokes, ridicule, and admiration. The purpose of these words is the expressions of both positive and negative emotions. Most of the participants showed more negative emotional expressions. This finding has implications for the emotional development of children.

Abstract

Purpose – The advancement of digital technology has significantly transformed the field of education, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. In Indonesia, the increasing number of internet users and the adoption of technological devices reflect a broad digital transformation. The Merdeka Belajar program demonstrates the government's commitment to digitizing education, including PAI. However, in rural areas such as Gunungkidul Regency, integrating technology into PAI learning still faces challenges, such as limited infrastructure readiness and teachers’ digital competence. Therefore, this study aims to identify the level of digital technology utilization in PAI learning, evaluate teachers’ digital competence, analyze the impact of technology integration on learning effectiveness, and develop a digital technology integration model relevant to the local context. Design/methods/approach – This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and surveys involving 30 PAI teachers from 19 senior high schools (SMA) in Gunungkidul Regency, selected using a purposive sampling technique. The analysis is based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge (TPACK) frameworks to understand technology acceptance and teachers’ digital competence. Findings – The findings indicate that the utilization of digital technology in PAI learning is relatively widespread, with platforms such as Google Classroom, Moodle, and Edmodo being used. However, there are still gaps in infrastructure and teachers’ digital competence, particularly in creating interactive digital content. Most teachers still rely on simple presentation media and have not fully optimized technology for innovative learning. The integration of technology has been proven to enhance accessibility and interactivity in learning; however, it also poses challenges such as students’ dependency on technology and the limited training opportunities for teachers. To address these challenges, this study proposes a technology integration model that focuses on improving teachers’ digital competence, ensuring equitable infrastructure distribution, developing digital content, and implementing a hybrid learning model. Research implications – The findings provide recommendations for teachers, policymakers, and educational institutions to enhance the effectiveness of digital-based PAI learning. Several strategic steps are proposed, including intensive training for teachers in digital content creation, equalizing access to technology in remote areas, and implementing a hybrid learning model that combines conventional methods with digital technology. Furthermore, improving students’ digital literacy is also a crucial step to ensure that the integration of technology in PAI learning goes beyond mere accessibility and fosters a deeper understanding of Islamic values.

Abstract

Early childhood sex education in Indonesia has become urgent due to rising cases of child sexual violence reported by authorities. Despite its proven role in preventing abuse and supporting healthy development, implementation remains limited, hindered by cultural taboos, lack of educator training, and insufficient institutional support. This study analyzed how early childhood educators’ knowledge and perceptions influence their attitudes toward sex education in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta. Using a quantitative correlational approach and simple random sampling, 99 kindergarten teachers responded to an online questionnaire. Multiple linear regression showed knowledge and perception positively and significantly affected attitudes, contributing 36.1% simultaneously. However, many teachers still exhibit hesitant or unsupportive attitudes, influenced by cultural factors and lack of training and support. Limitations include the sample restricted to Bantul teachers, reliance on questionnaires without qualitative data, and focus only on knowledge and perceptions. Future research should expand geographic scope and methods, testing structured training and parental involvement programs. Educational institutions are advised to provide routine training based on local context and guidelines, while schools should engage parents and community leaders to reduce stigma and enhance effective early childhood sex education implementation.

Abstract

The importance of early childhood education cannot be separated from its role in forming the basis for the development of various aspects of a child's life. At this stage, children begin to get to know the world around them, develop social interaction skills, and build the cognitive foundations they will use in the future. The ability to think symbolically is the basis for children to understand and process more complex information in the future. Through this ability, children begin to develop the ability to imagine, solve problems and think abstractly. The research used is qualitative descriptive research. The research location is TK Aisyiyah 02 Tambakromo. The number of subjects in this study was 23 people. The data in this research was collected through several techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained in this research was collected and analyzed using thematic analysis techniques with data analysis steps including Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Drawing Conclusions. The results obtained are that the use of learning media is very necessary in helping early childhood understanding. Based on the data obtained, the implementation of magic box media can improve students' symbolic abilities as evidenced by the fact that all students are in the criteria of developing according to expectations (BSH) and developing very well (BSB).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs of developing multimedia English learning for early childhood, focusing on supporting children's engagement and understanding. Through surveys and interviews with early childhood teachers. This research identified five main needs: (1) Learning Materials that include basic vocabulary and simple expressions in relevant themes; (2) Visual and Audio Design that is attractive and child-friendly; (3) Interactivity, such as quiz and game features to increase engagement; (4) Flexibility of Use that allows the multimedia to be accessed both at home and school; and (5) Leveled Materials according to children's cognitive development. The results show that interactive and flexible multimedia can increase children's motivation and participation in learning English. In addition, the flexibility of using multimedia also facilitates parental involvement, supporting more sustainable learning. This research supports the theories of constructivism and technology-based learning in early childhood education, and provides practical contributions for developers and educators. The findings' recommendations are expected to guide effective multimedia design for early childhood English language introduction.

Abstract

Financial management behavior (FMB) menjadi sangat penting pada saat konsumerisme tinggi dan perekonomian sedang tidak stabil. FMB memiiki peran yang penting karena dapat digunakan sebagai sarana perencanaan, penganggaran, dan pengelolaan dana individu sehari-hari. Dengan memiliki FMB yang baik maka dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan finansial di masa yang akan dating. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh financial literacy, financial attitude, parental income, dan parental education terhadap FMB pada mahasiswa manajemen angkatan 2018, 2019, dan 2020 UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa manajemen angkatan 2018, 2019, dan 2020. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner online. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 25. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh literasi keuangan, sikap keuangan, pendapatan orang tua, dan pendidikan orang tua terhadap FMB (2) tidak ada pengaruh literasi keuangan terhadap FMB (3) terdapat pengaruh sikap keuangan terhadap FMB (4) tidak ada pengaruh pendapatan orang tua terhadap FMB (5) tidak ada pengaruh pendidikan orang tua terhadap FMB. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan bagi berbagai pihak yang terkait tentang apa saja variabel yang mempengaruhi financial management behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the concept of edupreneurship, to know the forms of entrepreneurship, to know the impact of edupreneurship on students, graduates, and the community, as well as to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of edupreneurship at the Asy-Syifa Jepara Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis techniques. The data collection method uses structured and in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis in the study uses three stages, the first is data reduction. Second, data presentation. Third, drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study show that the Ash-Syifa Jepara Islamic Boarding School has the concept of edupreneurship which refers to the Qur'an and hadith as well as the characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) which include sidiq, amanah, tablig, and fathanah. Several forms of entrepreneurship owned by the Asy-Syifa Jepara Islamic Boarding School are divided into 6 fields, namely the food sector, the convection sector, the trade sector, the service sector, the livestock sector and the agricultural sector.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran haji saat ini sudah berkembang pesat, seperti media berbasis android, audio visual di youtube, bermacam-macam buku manasik haji, dan lain-lain. Akan tetapi, media tersebut masih belum bisa diterapkan di MI Yaumi dan sekitarnya, dikarenakan minimnya fasilitas dan belum sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan guru. Maka dari itu, penting kiranya untuk dilakukan sebuah pengembangan media pembelajaran materi haji yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan guru, yaitu media pembelajaran yang efektif, praktis, dan menarik, seperti sebuah pop up book. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis pop up book pada materi haji untuk siswa kelas V MI dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Adapun desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain Research and Development (R&D). Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan angket. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa dan guru kelas V MI Yaumi, serta para validator yang sesuai dengan bidangnya.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran pop up book telah berhasil dikembangkan dengan materi haji untuk siswa kelas V MI Yaumi. Prototipe media pop up book teridiri atas 9 slide atau 18 halaman. 4 slide pertama berisi pembukaan dan materi dasar mengenai ibadah haji, sedangkan 4 slide selanjutnya berisi kegiatan ibadah haji seperti ihram, wukuf, mabit, thawaf & sa’i, dan slide terakhir berisi latihan soal, daftar pustaka dan tentang penulis. Adapun hasil validasi dari berbagai aspek penilaian telah menunjukkan nilai sangat baik/layak. Hasil uji coba menyatakan hasil pemahaman siswa yang meningkat, dengan rincian nilai pre test yang menunjukkan nilai rata-rata  47 dan pos test memiliki nilai rata-rata 78. Hasil signifikansi sebesar 0.000 yang artinya jika nilai signifikan menunjukkan < 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran pop up book ini efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman materi haji siswa kelas V MI Yaumi.
