Abstract

Before knowing the factors that influence competitive advantage and marketing performance of Kre' Alang weaving, it must first determine the indicators that have a relationship with the latent variables. The method used to analyze this is confirmatory factor analysis. This method is used to provide information whether the model that has been modeled is in accordance with the hypothesis that has been formulated. The results of the study show that the latent variables for technology orientation are composed by the use of the latest technology, accelerating service to customers, supporting the innovation process, and ease of operationalization. Product innovation latent variables are composed by indicators of duplication and synthesis. Competitive advantage latent variables are composed by product uniqueness indicators. While marketing performance variables are composed by indicators of financial performance, operational performance, and market-based performance. The test results of the confirmatory factor model of the marketing performance of Kre' Alang woven fabric which were compiled were valid and reliable.

Abstract

Currently, the number of unemployed in West Nusa Tenggara province is dominated by university graduates. One effort to reduce unemployment is to become an entrepreneur. In every tertiary institution, including the Sumbawa University of Technology (UTS) and Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIE) Bima, there are entrepreneurship courses, which can later make students become drivers in developing a business spirit to become entrepreneurs. Therefore, this research aims to determine the influence of entrepreneurship courses and family support on the entrepreneurial interest of UTS and STIE Bima students using the structural equation model (SEM) method. The research results show that the entrepreneurship course material significantly affects UTS students' entrepreneurial intentions. Meanwhile, STIE Bima students' entrepreneurial intentions are influenced not only by the entrepreneurship course material but also by the delivery of the course material.

Abstract

UD. Parang Tayam adalah usaha kecil yang berlokasi di Desa Tarwa, Kecamatan Moyohulu, Kabupaten Sumbawa Besar, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat, dengan kapasitas produksi sekitar 10 hingga 12 batu bata merah per hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis langkah-langkah untuk mengurangi insiden kecelakaan kerja dalam proses produksi. Dua metode utama diterapkan: Analisis Keselamatan Pekerjaan (JSA) untuk mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya di tempat kerja dan langkah-langkah pencegahannya, serta pendekatan Rumah Risiko (HOR) yang menekankan pencegahan dua tahap. Pada HOR 1, Potensi Risiko Agregat (ARP) digunakan untuk mengevaluasi potensi risiko dan mengidentifikasi faktor risiko prioritas. Sementara itu, pada HOR 2, langkah-langkah mitigasi dirumuskan untuk faktor risiko prioritas tersebut. JSA mengidentifikasi 10 potensi bahaya dari 16 aktivitas kerja. Ini termasuk iritasi mata akibat debu dedak beras, gangguan pernapasan, terpeleset, dan paparan percikan api. Sementara itu, HOR 1 mengidentifikasi enam faktor risiko prioritas (A7, A16, A5, A10, A13, A8) yang memerlukan pengelolaan lebih lanjut. HOR 2 mengembangkan 17 langkah mitigasi risiko dari enam faktor risiko utama, dengan memprioritaskan PA1 yang memiliki nilai ETDk tertinggi (975) sebagai langkah mitigasi utama. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan pengurangan risiko keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja secara efektif dan efisien di UD. Parang Tayam

Abstract

Abstrak: Saat ini jumlah populasi ternak kerbau di Kabupaten Sumbawa terus menurun secara signifikan, sehingga salah satu akibatnya adalah menurunnya pendapatan peternak. Selain itu, kelangkaan kerbau dapat mengancam keberadaan budaya ‘Barapan Kebo’ yang merupakan tradisi unik dan ikonik kabupaten Sumbawa. Salah satu penyebab dari permasalahan tersebut adalah kelangkaan pakan yang tersedia pada saat musim kemarau. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan pelatihan membuat pakan silase dengan bahan baku utama adalah lamtoro dan gamal kepada kelompok ternak Liang Bukal desa Batu Tering yang terdiri dari 27 anggota. tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan serta sikap kepedulian peserta terhadap keberlanjutan program pembuatan pakan. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) pada kegiatan penyuluhan dan praktek langsung pembuatan silase. Evaluasi yang digunakan adalah evaluasi pre-test-post-test dengan menggunakan metode uji tanda, evaluasi tingkat efektivitas kegiatan pelatihan, serta dilakukan evaluasi kualitas pakan yang dihasilkan dengan memperhatikan tingkat jamur, PH, bau, bentuk dan warna. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan dan sikap kepedulian peserta terhadap keberlanjutan program mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan setelah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan. Tingkat efektivitas pelatihan sebesar 79%, dengan demikian kegiatan pelatihan tersebut terbukti efektif. Sehingga program pelatihan ini sangat sesuai dan dibutuhkan kelompok ternak. Selain itu, hasil pakan ternak silase yang dihasilkan termasuk dalam kategori baik sekali.Abstract: Currently, the buffalo population in Sumbawa Regency continues to decline significantly, resulting in a decline in the income of livestock farmers. Furthermore, the scarcity of buffalo can threaten the existence of the 'Barapan Kebo' culture, a unique and iconic tradition of Sumbawa Regency. One of the causes of this problem is the scarcity of available feed during the dry season. Therefore, training was conducted on making silage feed using the main raw materials of lamtoro and gamal for the Liang Bukal livestock group of Batu Tering village, consisting of 27 members. The purpose of this activity was to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of participants regarding the sustainability of the feed production program. The method used was Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) in extension activities and direct practice of silage production. The evaluation employed a pre-test-post-test design using the sign test method, assessing the level of effectiveness of training activities, and evaluating the quality of the resulting feed by observing the levels of mould, pH, odour, shape, and colour. The evaluation results showed that the participants' knowledge and attitudes regarding the sustainability of the program increased significantly after participating in the training activities. The training effectiveness rate was 79%, demonstrating its effectiveness. This program is highly suitable and necessary for livestock groups. Furthermore, the resulting silage feed yields were considered excellent.

Abstract

Abstrak: Musim kemarau di Kabupaten Sumbawa ditandai oleh tingkat kekeringan yang sangat tinggi, yang berdampak pada terbatasnya ketersediaan pakan ternak. Kondisi ini berpotensi menurunkan produksi sapi, sehingga menghambat pencapaian program NTB Bumi Sejuta Sapi. Desa Poto, Kabupaten Sumbawa, merupakan salah satu daerah dengan produksi jagung yang melimpah berdampak pada meningkatnya jumlah limbah jagung. Produksi jagung yang melimpah menghasilkan limbah dalam jumlah besar, yang umumnya dibakar oleh petani untuk membersihkan lahan, meskipun hal ini menimbulkan polusi. Padahal, limbah jagung masih mengandung nutrisi yang bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai pakan ternak. Melalui program pemberdayaan kemitraan masyarakat, dilakukan pelatihan kepada Kelompok Tani Ternak Lenang Rea III untuk mengolah limbah jagung menjadi pakan alternatif menggunakan mesin pencacah (Hammer Mill). Pelatihan ini bertujuan meningkatkan hardskill mitra dalam fermentasi limbah jagung dan formulasi pakan ternak. Meningkatan softskill dalam kesadaran akan pentingnya inovasi, keberlanjutan lingkungan, dan potensi ekonomi dari limbah jagung. Tiga tahapan kegiatan meliputi diskusi, pelatihan pembuatan silase dengan metode Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), dan evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan peserta cukup tinggi dengan skor total setiap variabel berada dalam rentang antara 0,72 hingga 0,88, yang mengindikasikan bahwa nilai pada masing-masing indikator berada pada kategori sedang (medium). Secara keseluruhan, nilai Technology Readiness Index (TRI) sebesar 3,14, menandakan kesiapan moderat dalam menerapkan teknologi pengolahan limbah jagung.Abstract: The dry season in Sumbawa Regency is characterized by very high levels of drought, which impacts the limited availability of animal feed. This condition can potentially reduce cattle production, thus hampering the achievement of the NTB Bumi Sejuta Sapi program. Poto Village, Sumbawa Regency, is one of the areas with abundant corn production, which impacts the increasing amount of corn waste. Abundant corn production produces large amounts of garbage, which farmers generally burn to clear the land, although this causes pollution. Corn waste still contains nutrients that can be used as animal feed. Through the community partnership empowerment program, training was conducted for the Lenang Rea III Livestock Farmers Group to process corn waste into alternative feed using a shredder (Hammer Mill). This training aims to improve the hard skills of partners in corn waste fermentation and animal feed formulation. Increasing soft skills in awareness of the importance of innovation, environmental sustainability, and the economic potential of corn waste. The three stages of activity include discussion, silage-making training using the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method, and evaluation. The evaluation process involved [specific details about the evaluation process]. The evaluation results showed that the level of participant satisfaction was relatively high, with the total score of each variable ranging from 0.72 to 0.88, indicating that the value of each indicator was in the medium category. Overall, the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) value was 3.14, indicating moderate readiness to implement corn waste processing technology.

Abstract

One of the advantages of Sumbawa Regency is its cultural diversity, the tradition of horse racing or commonly called the Maen Jaran Event (in Sumbawa language) is part of the culture and entertainment that has been preserved for centuries in Sumbawa. In efforts to preserve culture, especially traditional arts, it is increasingly difficult along with the development of the times and current globalization trends. Based on the results of observations there are several factors found in the Maen Jaran event there are several things that are less satisfied felt by visitors, namely the lack of facilities provided such as the lack of visitor stands, lack of trash cans, and parking spaces that are still relatively limited and the location where the Maen Jaran event is held far, visitors are less likely to leave because the location is quite far from their location point so that it will have an impact on the interest in returning when visitors get an uncomfortable experience or impression in assessing the quality of the event held. So to increase the interest in returning to the Maen Jaran event in Sumbawa, it is necessary to conduct a large analysis of visitor satisfaction, visitor experience, event quality and location on the interest in returning.Based on these problems, it is necessary to analyze the public’s intention to revisit the Maen Jaran event regarding visitor satisfaction, visitor experience, event quality, and location. In this study, a survey was conducted first and determined the research instrument used in collecting data, namely using a questionnaire with a non-probability sampling method, which must first determine the number of samples and distributed to 104 respondents. Furthermore, before conducting the SEM analysis, the instrument was tested for validity and reliability with a loading factor value that met the criteria (> 0.60). The method in this study was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Lisrel 8.80 software approach. Based on the results of the study, visitor satisfaction has a -28% relationship with the intention to revisit, visitor experience has an 84% relationship with the analyzed intention to revisit, event quality has a 5.1% relationship with the intention to revisit, while the location has a 24% relationship with the intention to revisit. The results of the study are expected to be a reference in decision making for Maen Jaran event organizers to maintain and increase public interest in visiting the Maen Jaran event.

Abstract

The existence of whale shark tourism in the area around Saleh Bay has not been fully utilized optimally by the local community to improve the economy. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the influence of human resource competency development and whale shark tourism village product management on descriptive business opportunities and land use so that it can be a reference for the Labuhan Jambu community. The Labuhan Jambu community is the respondent of this study as a source for obtaining research data. The method used to analyze the relationship is the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the Lisrel approach. The results of the study indicate that the development of human resource competencies in whale shark tourism villages has a positive but insignificant effect on descriptive business opportunities and a negative but insignificant impact on land use. Meanwhile, the product management of the whale shark tourism village has a positive and significant impact on descriptive business opportunities and land use.

Abstract

Pada tahun 2024, stunting di kabupaten Dompu menempati urutan keempat tertinggi di provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat yaitu sebesar 10,73%. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya penanggulangan stunting di Kabupaten Dompu perlu ditingkatkan melalui strategi yang lebih efektif dengan berbasis pada potensi lokal yang dimiliki daerah tersebut. Bendungan Mila di desa Rababaka merupakan bendungan terbesar di Kabupaten Dompu yang memiliki potensi ikan air tawar yang melimpah tetapi belum dioptimalkan oleh masyarakat sekitar untuk menekan stunting. Oleh karena itu, tim dosen berkolaborasi dengan BEM Fakultas Rekayasa Sistem (FRS) dan BEM Fakultas Ilmu dan Teknologi Hayati (FITH) Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa melakukan kegiatan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat desa Rababaka pengolahan ikan air tawar bendungan Mila menjadi produk-produk frozen food (nugget, dimsum, dan abon) dan  mendesain kemasan produk Serta kegiatan sosialisasi lainya untuk menekan angka stunting dan meningkatkan perekonomian desa tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Participatory Rural Appraisal. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan dan efektif peningkatan pengetahuan 94% dan peningkatan pengembangan sikap 47% peserta setelah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini dapat dikembangkan menjadi usaha kuliner yang mandiri dan berkelanjutan agar dapat dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat luas. Sehingga dapat berdampak pada penekanan angka stunting dan peningkatan perekonomian desa Rababaka.

Abstract

Quality control is an important function in a business. Companies that prioritize product quality control have significant advantages in terms of stability, safety, and business sustainability. UD. Roti Jase is one of the food industries facing problems related to a high number of defective products, which has resulted in decreased revenue. The purpose of this study is to identify the causes of defects in the bread production process to produce high-quality bread. The Six Sigma DMAIC method was used to analyze these problems. Based on the analysis results, the most common defect was burnt bread, with a percentage of 31.80%. The DPMO value was 159,701, indicating that the company operates at a 3.2 Sigma level. The factors that most significantly influenced the defects were machine and human factors, namely the absence of a digital temperature control device and workers’ lack of attention during the production process. Quality improvement efforts at UD. Roti Jase to minimize defects include providing a digital temperature device, conducting direct supervision during the production process, and recruiting additional workers.

Abstract

Salah satu aspek penting dalam menjalankan aktifitas dan memengaruhi keberhasilan sistem perindustrian adalah model transportasi dan distribusi yang diterapkan oleh industri tersebut. Didukung dengan meluasnya permintaan konsumen atas produk yang dihasilkan ke berbagai pelosok daerah, menjadikan masalah transportasi dan distribusi menjadi poin utama dalam pengembangan perusahaan. Untuk mengetahui penerapan model transportasi distribusi yang dapat diusulkan terhadap rute transportasi distribusi Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) pada PT. Javarko yang berdiri di kota Sumbawa Besar, maka dapat diusulkan dengan menggunkan model Clustered Generalized Vehicle Routing Problem (CGVRP) dan algoritma Dijkstra. Dimana pada model CGVRP toko-toko (vertek) tujuan dikelompokan berdasarkan kelurahan dan kapasitas armada kendaraan. Sehingga  diperoleh total jarak untuk kendaraan pertama adalah sebesar 14.410 km dengan rute distribusi gudang (0)→ UD. Fatimah (10) → Primart (5) → UD. Dua Putra (6) → UD.Hana (2) → UD. Bayu Rejeki (9) →  UD.Irma (1) → UD. Mandiri (7). Sedangkan jarak yang diperoleh untuk kendaraan kedua adalah sebesar 11.120 k m dengan rute pendistribusian . gudang (0) → UD. Dua satu (13) → UD. → Berlian Indah (12) → UD. Citra (11) → UD. Gonofit (3) → UD. Adiit Daputra (15) → UD. Yeyen Lengas (14) → gudang (0).
