Abstract

Motivation/Background: The contents of Isi Piringku determine the nutritional status of adolescents. The wrong type, and the amount of food will cause malnutrition problems in adolescents. Introduction to the method of drawing art is effective for teenagers because drawing art includes learning to play. This method makes it easier to accept the concept of Fill My Plate. The purpose of the service activity is to provide knowledge about the contents of my plate as the first step in implementing a nutrition-conscious attitude for YARI Padang Junior High School teenagers. Method: The method of service is in the form of counseling and workshops. Counseling is carried out at the beginning and end of service. Workshops in the form of drawing art are given as core activities. Results: The results of dedication were obtained by only 5% of students who just learned about the contents of Isi Piringku. During the workshop 100% of students can analyze the contents of Isi Piringku and at the end of the service, 100% of students can analyze the contents of Isi Piringku. Conclusions: The conclusion of this devotion is that the art of drawing effectively increases the knowledge of the contents of my plate. Furthermore, the devotion of Isi Piringku can be continued with a food workshop Isi Piringku.

Abstract

Blood, a lack of insulin secretion, insulin metabolism and both. One herb that works as well as drop in blood glucose levels and repair the metabolism of insulin is an aloin founded in aloe vera. Aims. Knowing the effect of aloin on white male mice (Mus musculus) induced by STZ. Methode. The type of research is experimental with the approach "pre-post test control group design". The population in the study is the white male (Mus musculus) 2-3 months, weighing 20-40 grams by 24 mice obtained from the university's pharmacological laboratory of Andalas. This sample was random with 24 mice. Data analysis shows the results of distribution are abnormal so the analysis tests used to friedman and the hoc wilcoxon post test. Results. The highest levels of blood glucose include K (+) 1, which is 273.5 mg/dL are affected by aloin for a drop in blood glucose in STZ (mus musculus), based on wilcoxon's test on K (+) 2 on metformin, P1 aloin dose 0.5 mg/kg, P2 dose 1 mg/kg has the same strength in drop in blood glucose level 0.028 and the most decline in pre-post value in P2 aloin group 1 mg/dL. Conclusion. There are effects of metformin administration, aloin dose 0.5 mg/kg and 1 mg/kg on lower blood glucose, aloin dose 0.5 mg/kg and aloin 1 mg/kg could be used as replacement therapy.

Abstract

The period of nifas (postpartum) is the recovery time of nine months of pregnancy as well as the birth process. This period of nifas lasts for about 6 weeks. This period occurs physiological and psychological changes, namely: physical changes, uterine involution and lochea expenditure, lactation / maternal milk expenditure, changes in other body systems and psychic changes. The purpose of the study is to find out the picture of the level of knowledge of mothers based on age, education, parity and occupation. The research method is descriptive quantitative with sample techniques i.e. total sampling. The number of samples of this study is 60 samples. The data was taken by way of a live interview with a questionnaire to respondents. Data is processed using SPSS in the form of tables. The results of the study were obtained the most at the age of 20-35 years a total of 52 people (86.7%) and have good knowledge at the age of > 35 years as many as 6 people (85.7%), The most high school education as many as 31 people (51.7%) and have a fairly good knowledge in college as many as 22 people (81.5%), The most parity < 2 children as many as 3 people (100%), as well as the most jobs not working as many as 37 people (61.7%) and have a fairly good knowledge of those who do not work as many as 30 people (81.1%). The results showed that the level of knowledge of mothers is mostly knowledgeable, this is influenced by several factors, namely age, education, parity and occupation factors.

Abstract

The prevalence of hypertension is increasing worldwide, especially in developing countries. The process by which hypertension occurs cannot be known clinically, so hypertension is often referred to as the silent killer because this disease does not show early clinical symptoms. This study aims to determine the profile of hypertension sufferers at West Pasaman Regional Hospital. This research covers the scope of Internal Medicine and Public Health Sciences. The research location is West Pasaman Regional Hospital. The research period is September 2022 to February 2023. The type of research is descriptive. The research design was cross sectional design. The population reached by outpatient hypertensive patients with a total population of 479 patients registered in the West Pasaman Regional Hospital's medical records in 2022 is 90 samples using a purposive sampling technique. Univariate data analysis is presented in the form of a frequency distribution and data processing uses the computerized SPSS program IBM version 25.0. The largest age group is pre-advanced (45-59 years), namely 42 people (46.7%), the largest gender is female, namely 48 people (53.3%), the highest status is working, namely 50 people (55.6%), The highest systolic blood pressure was grade I, namely 52 people (57.8%), the highest diastolic blood pressure was grade I, namely 60 people (66.7%), there was a relationship between age and blood pressure in hypertension sufferers at West Pasaman District Hospital. (p=0.000), there is a relationship between gender and blood pressure in hypertension sufferers at West Pasaman Regional Hospital. (p=0.021) and there is a relationship between work and blood pressure in hypertension sufferers at West Pasaman Regional Hospital. (p=0.008). It has been proven that there is a relationship between age and blood pressure in hypertension sufferers, there is a relationship between gender and blood pressure and there is a relationship between work and blood pressure in hypertension sufferers at the West Pasaman District Hospital.

Abstract

Pneumonia is an inflammation that affects the lung parenchyma, which can be caused by microorganisms, aspiration of gastric juices, foreign bodies and hypersensitivity reactions. The crude fatality rate (CFR) of pneumonia was quite high, namely 7.6%. In 2013, pneumonia increased was found 5878 cases with a prevalence of 3.1% in West Sumatra. Objective of this research to determine the profile of pneumonia in lung patients RSUP M. Djamil Padang. The type and design of this study is a retrospective observational descriptive study. This study using 54 samples with simple random sampling technique. Univariate data analysis and data processing using the computerized SPSS program version 25.0. Most of the patients with pneumonia were 56-65 years old, namely 17 people (32.7%), the most gender was male, namely 27 people (51.9%), the most occupation was IRT, namely 21 people (40.4 %), the most comorbidities were absent, namely 16 people (30.8%), the highest levels of leukocytes were abnormal, namely 45 people (86.5%), the most used drugs were the kinolone group, namely 34 people (65.4 %), the most germs were chlamydia pneumonia, namely 29 people (55.8%), the most length of treatment was daily, namely 34 people (65.4%). Most age is 56-65 years old, most sex is male, most occupation is IRT, most comorbidities are absent, most leukocyte levels are abnormal, most drugs used are kinolones, most bacteria are Chlamydia pneumonia , the most length of treatment is daily.

Abstract

Background : Dyspepsia is a syndrome or a set of symptoms that arise due to abnormalities in the proximal digestive tract in the form of discomfort in the pit of the stomach or retrosternal pain, burning, bloating after eating, belching, nausea, vomiting, feeling full quickly and the stomach feels full. The emergency form of dyspeptic patients is the discovery of alarm symptoms. Patients with alarm symptoms have a high risk of malignancy for that patient should be investigated by endoscopic examination. Aims: This study aims to determine and identify the description of the results of endoscopic examination in dyspeptic patients who have alarm symptoms at Dr. RSUP. M. Djamil in 2019-2020. Method: This type of research is a categorical descriptive study with a cross sectional study design. The study was conducted in December 2021. The sample of this study were all patients who met the inclusion criteria at RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang in 2019-2020 with 39 samples. The sampling technique was done by total sampling. The analysis uses univariate analysis to see the frequency and percentage of each variable using SPSS. Result : This study found that the highest age group was 56-65 years as many as 9 people (23.1%), the most gender, namely male as many as 21 people (53.8%). The most common danger sign found was gastrointestinal bleeding as much as 15 (25.9%). The most common endoscopic appearance found was Gastritis as much as 25 (45.5%). Conclusion: In this study, the highest age group was 56-65 years, most of which occurred in men, the most common danger sign was gastrointestinal bleeding and the most common endoscopic appearance found was Gastritis.

Abstract

Introduction/ Background: Based on WHO data, as many as 10-20% of children and adolescents in the world experience mental health problems. It is estimated that 50% of mental disorders occur by the age of 14 and 75% by the age of 18. The most common disorders in children and adolescents are generalized anxiety disorder and depression. Social media users in Indonesia reach 150 million (56%) of the total population. In Indonesia, teenagers are the most popular social media users. The impact received from the influence of social media is the disruption of mental health, such as depression caused by cyberbullying. Objective: This study aims to analyze social media's influence on adolescent mental health—method: Method used in the narrative review with PRISMA 2020. The literature search in this literature review uses two databases: Google Scholar and ScienceDirect. The critical words of the Indonesian Language are the influence of social media and adolescent mental health. English keywords are social media influence and adolescent mental health. Results: The results of a study from 11 journals found that mental health problems owned by adolescents who use social media include emotional mental disorders, abnormal emotional symptoms, abnormal behavior problems, abnormal hyperactivity, and abnormal peer problems. Adolescent mental health problems mainly occur in adolescent girls. Based on the results of all studies, social media influences mental health problems experienced by adolescents. Conclusion: Social media is used by almost everyone in this world today. The majority of social media use is by teenagers. Social media hurts adolescent mental health. Teenagers must use social media wisely.

Abstract

Introduction/ Background: Penggunaan aromaterapi untuk gangguan cemas telah ditetapkan dengan baik dalam literatur; namun, ada bukti terbatas mengenai kemanjurannya. Meta-analisis saat ini merupakan upaya untuk menilai hubungan antara penggunaan aromaterapi dan gangguan cemas pada sampel. Pencarian komprehensif dilakukan di seluruh Medline, Scopus, Web of Science, host EBSCO, basis data Cochrane, dan Google Scholar untuk studi yang mengevaluasi aromaterapi dan tingkat kecemasan. Pedoman PRISMA diikuti untuk meta-analisis. Uji coba acak dan acak-kluster yang membandingkan aromaterapi dengan kontrol disertakan. Model efek acak digunakan untuk menilai perbedaan rata-rata dalam tingkat kecemasan. Nilai signifikansi ditetapkan pada P < 0,05. Sepuluh studi diidentifikasi yang memenuhi persyaratan untuk dimasukkan. Aromaterapi secara signifikan dikaitkan dengan penurunan tingkat kecemasan pasien. Heterogenitas rendah dicatat antara Kepastian bukti yang tinggi diperoleh dari hubungan antara penggunaan aromaterapi dan gangguan cemas. Meta-analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa aromaterapi efektif dalam mengurangi gangguan cemas. Jika digunakan dengan bijaksana, hasil penelitian ini akan mendorong penggunaan aromaterapi untuk mengurangi tingkat kecemasan pasien
