Abstract

The increasing integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in educational counseling has introduced new opportunities and ethical challenges in decision-making processes related to student support services. This study aims to develop a set of ethical guidelines tailored to the use of AI-assisted systems in educational counseling, focusing on transparency, fairness, accountability, privacy, and human oversight. Employing a qualitative methodology, the research synthesizes insights from educational technologists, counseling professionals, AI ethicists, and policymakers through in-depth interviews and Delphi-based consensus. The proposed framework addresses ethical dilemmas arising from algorithmic bias, informed consent, data protection, and the balance between human judgment and machine recommendations. Findings suggest that while AI can enhance efficiency and personalization in counseling, it must operate within clearly defined ethical boundaries to safeguard student autonomy, well-being, and equity. The resulting guidelines are intended to serve as a foundational reference for educational institutions, developers, and regulatory bodies in the responsible deployment of AI in student counseling contexts.

Abstract

The increasing proportion of older persons in Indonesia requires empowerment programmes that address not only health aspects but also economic independence. Older adults who remain productive tend to experience better physical, psychological, and social well-being. This Community Service Programme (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat/PKM) aimed to enhance the economic capacity of older adults through an age-friendly economic empowerment intervention. The activity was conducted on 19 November 2025 in Pasir Gunung Selatan Sub-district (PGS), Depok City, West Java, involving 25 older adults participating in the PGS Elderly School. The programme employed educational sessions, participatory discussions, identification of elderly economic potentials, and simple business planning simulations. The results (pre-post test) showed an improvement in participants’ understanding of age-appropriate economic activities, basic financial management, and the importance of productive engagement in later life. In addition, the programme fostered collective awareness among older adults regarding group-based economic activities supported by families and the community. This PKM activity demonstrates the potential of community-based elderly economic empowerment as a sustainable model to support active and healthy ageing.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the influence of Work Facilities and Communication Effectiveness on Employee Productivity in the Phone Verification division at PT Swakarya Insan Mandiri, Bekasi. The research is motivated by the phenomenon of declining productivity, which is often associated with complaints about work equipment and communication barriers in the workplace. The research method employed is a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 50 respondents and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach, utilizing SmartPLS 4 software. The results show that Work Facilities have no significant effect on Work Productivity, while Communication Effectiveness has a significant and positive influence on Work Productivity. Simultaneously, both independent variables strongly influence Work Productivity. These findings highlight the essential role of effective communication in enhancing employee performance, particularly in work environments that demand coordination and accuracy such as the Phone Verification division.
