Seaweed cultivation in Pandawa Beach is one of the leading commodities of fishery that is still occupied by coastal communities. However, along with the development of tourism in Pandawa Beach, it resulted in some seaweed farmers switch professions into food and beverages traders, and tenants of tourism services and facilities. This phenomenon resulted in the decreasing of seaweed yields even it was not re-produced. Therefore, it needs a strategy of seaweed cultivation area development as conservation and educational tour in order to preserve the continuity of seaweed cultivation and the sustainability of tourism development; therefore it can improve the prosperity of the community. The purposes of this research were 1) to identify of internal and external potential of seaweed cultivation area as conservation tourism and community-based education in Pandawa Beach, 2) to design the development strategy of seaweed cultivation area as conservation tourism and community based education. The data was obtained from participantsâ€™ observation, questionnaire, and in-depth interviews with six informants consisting of seaweed farmers, cultivation group managers and managers of Pandawa Coastal Tourist Object as primary data, and documentation study as secondary data. Data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques used were qualitative descriptive analysis techniques, IFAS - EFAS, and SWOT. The findings of this research were 1) Seaweed Cultivation Area in Pandawa Beach had internal and external potential that is useful to be developed into conservation and education tourism based on community, 2) Seaweed cultivation development strategy as conservation tourism and community-based education in Pandawa Beach can be done by making educational tourism attractions, optimizing community-based management system, and optimizing marketing in the development of seaweed cultivation area as conservation tourism and community-based education in Pandawa Beach.

This research aims to know the relationship of five pillars of tourism development in Nusa Penida, Klungkung regency, Bali. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The method is used to get data or descriptive explanation about the potency of tourism development and the role of five pillars in Nusa Penida. Data will be analized use descriptive qualitative analysis. The result of the research is the relationship of five pillars of tourism development (tourist attraction, accessibility, amenities, ancillaries, dan community involvement)in tourism development in Nusa Penida, Kabupaten Klungkung-Bali, have a positive effect to social, economic, and environment in Nusa Penida.

The purpose of the research is to know the factors that become the foundation of a touris attraction in Tirta Empul Temple. The benefit of this research is to organize a tourism region towards sustainable tourism. The research use qualitative method and quantitative descriptive analysis technique. The result of the research is Tirta Empul tourism has good foundation and friendly tourism. It supports the development of tourism in the future. Tirta Empul tourism foundation can be seen from the three factors. That can be seen from the religious, human and environmental. These faktors is a dynamic entity, complementary and not precede each other. This is the secret of balance tourism development in Tirta Empul.

Â Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis secara empiris perbedaan tingkat Pemutusan Hubungan Kerja (PHK) Karyawan Hotel sebelum dan sesudah Implementasi Surat Edaran Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara Dan Reformasi BirokrasiÂ No 11 Tahun 2014 tentang pelarangan penyelenggaraan kegiatan bagi aparatur pemerintahan di luar instansi pemerintahan di Propinsi Bali. hotel-hotel di daerah Badung dan DenpsarÂ dengan pertimbangan memiliki layanan MICE (meeting, incentive, convention, and exhibition). Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisa deskriptif-kualitatif.Â Hasil penelitiannya adalah tidak terdapat peningkatan jumlah pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK) karyawan Hotel di Propinsi Bali antara sebelum dan sesudah Implementasi Surat Edaran MenPAN-RB Nomor 11 Tahun 2014 dan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara jumlah karyawan yang di PHK pada saat sebelum dan sesudah implementasi kebijakan.

The purpose of this research is to know the impact of tourism development toward rice field function alteration. It is located at Petitinget village, north Kuta, Badung. This research is used qualitative method. It is used to get the data or descriptive information about rice field function alteration. Descriptive-qualitative is used to analyze the data.According to the result of this research, there is a significant influence toward rice field function alteration and tourism development at Petitenget area. It impacts to the life of society and makes a negative impact to social, economic, and environment to the tourism area at Petitenget.

The purpose of river toward humanâ€™s life is obvious since many history of humanity milestone explained in the river area. Nowadays, some rivers in Indonesia polluted because mostly waste issue, namely Badung River. Some efforts have been attempted by the government to arrange the surrounded area of Badung River. However, the result has not met the expectation since the solution still found its weakness and challenges. The aims of this research to understand the policy of Denpasar city and the implementation of Badung Riverâ€™s arrangement as an attraction in Denpasar city. Badung river arrangement and management determines environment conservation in building a sustainable development toward local community empowerment. Therefore, after the well management, government assumes the balance life or harmony in life is obtained based on its local genious. The methodology of this research is descriptive qualitative to describe social phenomenons. Collecting data utilize some methods such as observation, documentation and depth-interview with stakeholders. Pre-assumption of the community shows government policy regarding river arrangement has been well-managed, as it is seen from the policy implementation in arrangement in surround area of Badung River. Nevertheless, to optimize the Badung river development should begin from the change of human lifestyle in local community surround the Badung river area.Â Keywords: attraction, government policy, river

ABSTRACTThe aim of the study was to determine the community's perception of the development of Pelaga Tourism Village. This study uses a qualitative method which is a method that is descriptive in nature, and more displays the process of meaning. Data collection techniques using in-depth interview techniques with informants sourced from local communities. The results of his research stated that people's perception of the development of Pelaga Tourism Village was quite good. However, there are some public perceptions that stated that they were not yet optimistic, especially the impact of the development of Pelaga Tourism Village on social culture and the environment. Pelaga Tourism Village Development still has a lot of negative impacts.Â Keywords: tourism village, society, perception

The concept of the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) confirms that in running a business, companies do not only pay attention to profits, but also contribute to society (people), and play an active role in protecting the environment (planet). One implementation of the TBL concept is the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Alila Seminyak is one of the hotels that have been implemented CSR. However, the community stated that there were deficiencies in the program. Even though the company stated there were no obstacles during the program implementation. The purpose of this study is to find out how was the implementation of TBL concept in the CSR program at Alila Seminyak and how the evaluation of the program. The data collection techniques used are documentation study, in-depth interviews, and observations. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of the study are Alila Seminyak has implemented the TBL concept in CSR programs but it has not been maximized in the concept of people. The people are not involved in the planning and evaluation of the program, and evaluation of the program has not been carried out optimally, because it does not involve the recipient community and there is no evaluation of the achievement of program objectives.

In the tourism area the vehicle population continues to increase, on the other hand the lack of public facilities that are safe and comfortable as a medium of transportation causes most tourists to prefer carrying private vehicles. Meanwhile tourist attractions in tourist areas are usually centered on a particular location. This will also result in high concentration of vehicles in the area. Then the availability of parking lots is needed. The problem is the need for land for other purposes is also increasing and the availability of vacant land is also limited. Resulting in several problems such as parking on the roadside which will then hamper vehicle circulation activities. The research objective is to identify parking system problems in the Kuta tourism area and create ideas in the direction of the development of parking infrastructure referring to the development of multi-storey parking buildings (Vertical) with the application of the parking system system with APS (Automatic Parking System) technology. This research is a research with a qualitative descriptive analysis approach which is done by data collection techniques through direct observation, document studies, and literature studies.
