Abstract

One effort that can be made to improve students' numeracy skills is by implementing differentiated learning strategies. Differentiated learning is a method used by teachers to meet the needs of each student so that students can learn material according to their abilities, talents and interests as well as their individual needs so that they do not feel like they have failed in their learning experience. In differentiated learning, 3 aspects can be distinguished so that students can understand the learning material: the content, the process, and the product. Based on this, the service team conducted differentiated learning training to improve students' numeracy skills for teachers at SDN 23 Mataram. This training aims to increase teacher knowledge in implementing differentiated learning. Based on the results of community service activities that have been carried out, it can be said that these activities ran smoothly according to the planned schedule and were successful. The participants were enthusiastic about the training because, in the independent curriculum, all teachers must understand differentiated learning. The level of understanding of participants in implementing differentiated learning after training. Based on this, the level of knowledge of participants in the very understanding category was 55% or 6 out of 11 participants. Then the understanding category was 36% or 5 participants, and the quite understanding category was 9% or only 1 participant.

Abstract

One way to design interactive learning is by utilising digital applications or websites that provide media creation services. By utilising sites that provide digital-based media creation services, students' interest in participating in the learning process increases and the teaching and learning process becomes more interesting. One platform that offers interactive game-based media creation is the Wordwall platform. The Wordwall educational game is a website-based application that can be used as a learning medium with interactive game features. This training was chosen because the Wordwall platform has been proven to increase student interest, motivation, and learning outcomes. Thus, the community service team held training on creating interactive game-based media using the Wordwall platform to improve the digital skills and abilities of elementary school teachers. The purpose of this training is to train teachers in developing interactive game-based media using the Wordwall application. The target in this study was 14 teachers at SDN 15 Cakranegara. The stages of implementing community service activities are the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The results of this community service are that teachers are very enthusiastic about this interactive learning media development training because of the need for teachers to improve the learning process in the classroom. Overall, interactive game-based media training using the Wordwall application is the right step in improving the skills of elementary school teachers in creating innovative and effective learning media. With the right support and guidance, teachers can leverage this technology to improve the quality of learning, which will ultimately have a positive impact on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The low level of students' writing skills indicates that concrete efforts are needed to overcome these problems. In this study, we assessed students' scientific writing skills through the implementation of a research-based learning model (RBL) assisted by media Examples, Templates and Guidelines for writing papers (ETG). The research was conducted at the PGSD Study Program at Mataram University. The sample consisted of 64 students from two different batches, namely second-year students and third-year students. The instrument used to measure students' scientific writing skills was a science research paper document that they wrote individually. The scores obtained were converted into quantitative scores with a range of 0 - 100, qualitative scores (E - A) and then interpreted into 5 categories (very poor - excellent). The quantitative values were further analyzed using descriptive statistics to obtain mean, standard deviation, minimum value, maximum value and percentile data. Meanwhile, the qualitative values and their interpretation were analyzed using percentages. The results of the analysis showed that the students' scientific writing skills were at a value of 77.27. This quantitative value has grade B with good interpretation. From the results of the percentage analysis, it is known that as many as 47% of students have achieved a score of 75 and above, where the grade is B to A. Based on this data, it can be concluded that the implementation of the PBR model assisted by ETG media is effective in facilitating students to develop their scientific writing skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji validitas modul ajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) berbasis kearifan lokal yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Define, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) yang dibatasi sampai tahap Development. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi yang mencakup aspek kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, penyajian, dan keterpaduan P5 dan IPAS. Validasi dilakukan oleh tiga ahli, yaitu ahli materi IPA, ahli materi IPS, dan ahli bahasa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar memperoleh skor ketiga validator berturut-turut adalah 76, 77, dan 78 yang ketiganya berada pada kategori sangat valid. Aspek substansi materi dinilai sesuai dengan capaian pembelajaran IPAS, kegiatan pembelajaran disusun secara sistematis dan fleksibel, serta integrasi nilai-nilai budaya lokal dinilai relevan dan kontekstual. Dengan demikian, modul ajar IPAS ini dinyatakan valid dan dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, khususnya untuk mendukung implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka yang berbasis karakter dan kontekstual budaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis etnopedagogi terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) dan Matematika mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar. Pendekatan etnopedagogi dipilih sebagai bentuk integrasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam proses pembelajaran, guna memperkuat pemahaman konseptual dan relevansi materi dengan konteks budaya setempat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas dua kelompok mahasiswa dari program studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) yang dipilih secara purposive sebanyak 60 mahasiswa. Data hasil belajar IPA dan Matematika dikumpulkan melalui tes terstandar dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis etnopedagogi memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan secara simultan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar IPA dan Matematika yang ditandai dengan hasil analisis multivariat signifikansi (0.008) < 0.05. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pendekatan etnopedagogi dapat menjadi strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mengembangkan kompetensi akademik mahasiswa calon guru, sekaligus memperkuat identitas budaya lokal dalam pendidikan.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the ability of Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students in developing mathematics learning media, especially in geometry material, through the use of GeoGebra software. GeoGebra is an interactive software that is very suitable for visualizing geometric concepts dynamically and attractively. In the context of the Independent Curriculum, mastery of educational technology is one of the important competencies that prospective teachers must have, in order to support differentiated, contextual, and student-centered learning. The methods used in this activity include training, direct practice, and mentoring in designing GeoGebra-based learning media. The results of the activity show that students have high enthusiasm in participating in the training, and show an increase in understanding and skills in developing interactive geometry learning media. The media produced also reflects learning principles that are in accordance with the characteristics of elementary school students and support the achievement of the Pancasila student profile. This activity makes a real contribution in preparing prospective teachers who are technology literate and able to design innovative mathematics learning, in line with the demands of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aimed to test the effect of a case-based learning model with a local wisdom approach on students' mathematical reasoning. This type of research is quasi-experimental research with a nonequivalent control group design. The place of this research is at the University of Mataram, the PGSD study program. The population of the study was 300 students in the second semester, while the sample used in this study was 120 students selected using a random sampling technique. The research instrument used a mathematical reasoning test. The data analysis technique used normality and homogeneity tests as prerequisite tests, and independent sample t-tests for hypothesis testing and finally used the N-Gain test. The results of this study showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. Then, from the results of the hypothesis test, the significance. (2-tailed) value was obtained of 0.04 <0.05 so that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, meaning that there was a significant difference between the average mathematical reasoning of students in the control group and the experimental group so that it was concluded that there was an effect of the case-based learning model with a local wisdom approach on students' mathematical reasoning abilities. Meanwhile, the N-Gain test results obtained a score of 0.45 with moderate criteria. This means that the case-based learning model with a local wisdom approach has a moderate level of influence on students' mathematical reasoning abilities.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pelatihan calon guru SD/MI terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Quizizz. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan penyebaran angket sebagai instrumen utama. Data yang diperoleh dari angket dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil angket yang disebarkan kepada 44 calon guru SD/MI menunjukkan bahwa meskipun sebagian besar dari mereka telah menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi seperti PowerPoint, hanya sedikit yang memahami secara mendalam penggunaan aplikasi interaktif seperti Quizizz. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa 93,2% responden merasa perlu mengikuti workshop tentang penggunaan Quizizz, terutama dalam aspek membuat kuis interaktif, menganalisis hasil kuis, dan menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang menarik. Temuan ini menegaskan urgensi penyelenggaraan workshop sebagai langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan kompetensi calon guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dan menyenangkan di era digital saat ini.

Abstract

Instructional media serve a pivotal function in facilitating the achievement of learning objectives. The integration of interactive learning media represents a significant innovation within the educational landscape, particularly in fostering enhanced learning motivation, encouraging students to engage more actively in the learning process. This study examines how interactive media influence fifth-grade students' learning motivation at SDN 9 Ampenan. Employing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method, the research utilized a nonequivalent control group design. The population consisted of all fifth-grade students, with the sample comprising class Va (31 students) as the experimental group and class Vc (29 students) as the control group. Data were collected using a structured student motivation questionnaire. The results, analyzed using an independent sample t-test, revealed a calculated t-value of 8.061, which exceeds the critical t-value of 1.988 at a 5% significance level (α = 0.025), with a p-value of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating statistical significance. These findings suggest that the application of interactive media exerts a significant positive effect on the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at SDN 9 Ampenan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model PjBL-STEM terhadap kemampuan berpikir peserta didik. Kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas III di SDN 37 Cakranegara masih rendah. Permasalahan tersebut disebabkan karena penerapan model pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru dan terpaku pada buku mata pelajaran saja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model PjBL-STEM terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis kelas III di SDN 37 Cakranegara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain Quasi Eksperimental dengan tipe Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 42. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik tes dan observasi. Tes digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dan observasi untuk melihat keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh melalui uji independent sample t test mendapatkan sig. 0,009 < 0,05 dan nilai thitung ≥ ttabel yaitu sebesar 2,766 ≥ 2,021 , yang artinya Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dilihat dari kelima sintaks PjBL-STEM terdapat tiga sintaks yang berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis yaitu, 1) reflection, 2) research 3) application. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan  bahwa terdapat pengruh model PjBL-STEM terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik di SDN 37 Cakranegara dengan kategori sedang.
