Abstract

Abstract

Android-based learning media is one of the media that is easy to use by teachers and students in achieving learning objectives. This study aims to produce valid, practical, and effective learning media used for learning. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4-D development model (four D models). This study used an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The questionnaires were divided into validation questionnaires, practicality, and effectiveness questionnaires. For data analysis, researchers used Aiken's formula and Gain Score. The validation sheet is filled out by 4 validators consisting of 2 material validators and 2 media validator. The practicality sheet is filled out by 30 students and 2 teacher. For effectiveness data used questions filled out by students. The questionnaire data obtained a validity level of 0.95 which indicates that the developed media is valid. For practicality, the result is 90% with the very practical category. The effectiveness of the developed media is seen from the value of students. After using the media, 100% of students had scores above the KKM, while from the gain score test, they got a value of 0.75 which means that the learning media developed can be said to be effective. Based on these data it can be concluded that android-based learning media in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) subjects is valid, practical, and effective for use as learning media.

Abstract

This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) design, with the ASSURE development model. ASSURE development procedures, namely Analyze learner characteristics, State Standards and Objectives, Select Strategies, Technology, Media, and Materials, utilize media and materials, require learner participation, evaluate and revise. The data analysis technique used describes the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed media. The product results obtained from this development research are video tutorial learning media. Based on the results of this study it was concluded that the developed media was declared "valid" by media experts with an average value of 0.77, and also declared "valid" by material experts with an average value of 0.85. The media developed was declared "practical" with a practicality value from the teacher's response with a result of 96.41% and a student response of 88.10%, and the video tutorials produced were effectively used with the results of a comparison of pretest and posttest learning outcomes seen from students' classical completeness of 100% and a gain score of 0.61 in the medium category. From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that short video tutorial learning media via Instagram are valid, practical and effective in the subject of maintaining motorcycle chassis in vocational high schools.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of technology-based learning, particularly blended learning, on students' creative thinking abilities. Through quantitative analysis, data comprising sample size, mean, and standard deviation extracted from Google Scholar indexed journals were examined. Employing a group contrast analysis design with a random effects model, effect sizes were corrected using JASP software. The analysis revealed a summary effect of 6.74 with a confidence interval ranging from 4.68 to 8.80, indicating a significant difference between groups utilizing blended learning and those employing conventional methods. Notably, students engaged in blended learning exhibited superior creative thinking skills compared to their counterparts. These findings underscore the pressing need to integrate blended learning methodologies to enhance the learning process effectively.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the optimization of the problem-solving learning model within the context of independent learning in the post-pandemic era. Utilizing a systematic literature review method and the PRISMA model, the study identifies 25 pertinent articles concerning the implementation of the problem-solving learning model in independent learning. The analysis indicates that applying this model positively impacts students' critical thinking abilities, enhances creativity, and reinforces communication and collaboration skills. From an independent learning standpoint, the problem-solving learning model grants students the autonomy to cultivate creative thinking patterns and fosters heightened engagement in the learning process. The study also highlights adapting the model to online learning, with teachers as facilitators. In conclusion, these findings underscore the effectiveness of the problem-solving learning model in independent learning, especially in the post-pandemic era. They also offer valuable insights for educators and policymakers to develop adaptive learning strategies suited to the current educational environment.

Abstract

The Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model has become a major focus in vocational education, promising an integrated and contextual approach to problem-oriented learning. This research aims to conduct a meta-analysis of existing scientific publications to gain a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of the PBL model in vocational education. The results of the analysis indicate that the success of PBL implementation in vocational education is significantly influenced by several variables, including appropriate learning design, support from instructors/facilitators, and interactions among learners. With a deeper understanding of the factors affecting the effectiveness of PBL in vocational education, it is expected that this learning model can be improved and developed more optimally, thereby making a more significant contribution to enhancing learning outcomes, skills, and the readiness of learners to enter the workforceThe Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model has become a major focus in vocational education, promising an integrated and contextual approach to problem-oriented learning.
