Abstract

Tujuan utama dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan dan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis gamifikasi seperti Blooket, Gimkit, dan QuizWhizzer dalam mendukung proses belajar mengajar, khususnya dalam meningkatkan dan memanfaatkan keterampilan guru dalam menguasai media pembelajaran berbasisi gamifikasi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dengan tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan langsung, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk lokakarya yang melibatkan staf dewan guru SMK Negeri 1 Bulango Utara. Setiap guru mengikuti sesi yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan peran masing-masing dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kelompok guru yang terdiri atas 20 peserta mampu mengintegrasikan media digital ke dalam perangkat pembelajaran secara mandiri. Kegiatan ini memiliki implikasi terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di lingkungan sekolah, khususnya dalam hal penguasaan teknologi digital oleh para guru. Keberhasilan pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis gamifikasi mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan partisipasi guru dalam merancang pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini tidak hanya berdampak jangka pendek dalam bentuk peningkatan keterampilan, tetapi juga berpotensi mendorong transformasi pembelajaran jangka panjang menuju arah yang lebih digital, kreatif, dan sesuai dengan karakteristik generasi peserta didik masa kini.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi menuntut guru untuk mampu menggunakan media digital dalam pembelajaran. Namun, sebagian besar guru belum terbiasa memanfaatkan media pembelajaran berbasis website. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menggunakan teknologi pembelajaran interaktif di SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui pelatihan tatap muka, terdiri atas penyampaian materi, praktik, simulasi, dan pendampingan penggunaan website Socrative, Zep.quiz, dan Wizer.me. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui  pelatihan secara tatap muka yang mencakup pemaparan materi, simulasi, serta pendampingan penggunaan masing-masing media pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini melibatkan guru dari berbagai mata pelajaran dan dilaksanakan selama dua jam. Hasil yang ditemukan, pemahaman terhadap materi pelatihan 80%, kemudahan penggunaan media (Socrative, Zep.Quiz, dan Wizer.Me) 90%, motivasi untuk menggunakan media di kelas 90%, kesiapan untuk mengimplementasikan di pembelajaran 75%, kepuasan terhadap pelatihan secara keseluruhan 85%. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa pelatihan memberikan pengalaman baru dan penting dalam meningkatkan literasi digital guru serta keterlibatan aktif mereka dalam merancang pembelajaran interaktif berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Land conversion is a change in land function that impacts the environment and the socio-economic conditions of the community. This study examines the process of land conversion in Abroorza A. Yusra's novel Danum, including land conversion patterns, their impacts, and the resulting social conflicts. The purpose of this study is to describe the land conversion patterns, their impacts, and the social conflicts that arise as a result of this land conversion process. This study uses Literary Ecology theory to examine the relationship between humans and nature, Sihaloho's land conversion theory on the patterns and impacts of land conversion, and Soekanto's social conflict theory as a basis for analyzing the resulting social conflicts. This study uses a descriptive method with data in the form of excerpts from the novel Danum that represent land conversion patterns, their impacts, and the resulting social conflicts. The primary data source is Abroorza A. Yusra's novel Danum, which was examined through literature review. Data analysis was conducted through filtering, thematic grouping, interpretation of meaning, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that (1) Abroorza A. Yusra's novel Danum depicts three patterns of land conversion, a planned enclave pattern through collusion of power, a pattern resulting from social and economic pressure, and a pattern of agrarian adaptation to a capitalist economy. (2) This land conversion has three impacts, namely changes in land ownership from indigenous communities to companies, changes in land use that damage the environment in the form of loss of customary forests, and social changes in communities. (3) In addition, three forms of social conflict emerged according to Soekanto, including politics, class, and individuals, which highlight social dynamics, human-nature relationships, and changes in values due to land conversion. Danum displays social complexity, human-nature interactions, and changes in values due to land conversion.

Abstract

Social pathology is behavior that does not conform to social norms and can be detrimental to both individuals and society. This study examines the portrayal of the metropolitan lifestyle, forms of social pathology, causal factors, and impacts in Brian Khrisna's novel "The Darkest Side of Heaven." The research aims to describe the urban lifestyle in the novel, identify the forms of social pathology, explain the factors causing deviance, and outline the consequences. This study uses a Sociology of Literature approach that emphasizes the reciprocal relationship between literary works and social reality, and Burlian's Social Pathology theory as a foundation for examining the types of deviance, its triggers, and consequences. The method used is descriptive, with data consisting of novel excerpts representing the metropolitan lifestyle and the phenomenon of social deviance. Data was collected through literature review, then analyzed through a process of filtering, thematic grouping, interpreting meaning, and drawing conclusions based on the research findings. The results indicate that this novel presents four portraits of a metropolitan lifestyle that reflect urban society's orientation toward self-image, prestige, and symbolic success. Furthermore, five forms of social pathology were identified: crime, gambling, prostitution, alcohol consumption, and thuggery. Factors causing deviance include dysfunctional family conditions and economic pressures that push individuals to take shortcuts. The impacts are divided into two: those on the perpetrator, such as the loss of future, dignity, and self-control, and those on the environment, such as social unrest, decreased harmony, and weakened solidarity. Through its portraits of lifestyles, forms of deviance, causal factors, and impacts, this novel showcases complex social dynamics and the relationship between individuals and urban society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh metode pembelajaran storytelling terhadap kemampuan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Satap Tabongo dalam bercerita kembali dongeng fantasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pra eksperimen (one-group pretest-posttest design), dengan melibatkan 20 siswa yang dinilai melalui rubrik kinerja lisan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Perlakuan berupa penerapan metode storytelling selama empat pertemuan, dengan penekanan pada ekspresi wajah, intonasi suara, dan penggunaan bahasa parafrastis. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan diuji menggunakan uji non-parametrik Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan siswa: skor rata-rata meningkat dari 41,65 (pretest) menjadi 74,15 (posttest), dengan nilai Z = –3,921 dan p = 0,000 (< 0,05). Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa metode storytelling efektif meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara naratif, terutama dalam aspek pemahaman isi, penggunaan bahasa sendiri, dan ekspresi lisan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan storytelling sebagai strategi pembelajaran sastra yang kontekstual, menyenangkan, dan sesuai dengan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka, bahkan di sekolah terpencil dengan keterbatasan sumber daya.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on the ability to write slogan texts in grade VII students of MTs Negeri 2, Gorontalo Regency. The main problem identified in this study is the lack of students' ability to write ideas and messages in a creative way. This study uses a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research sample consisted of 21 students taken using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a writing ability test assessed based on the rubric of content, language, creativity, and neatness. The results of descriptive statistics show an increase in the average score from 46.00 (pre-test) to 80.48 (post-test). The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test show that all students (n=21) experienced a significant increase in scores (Positive Ranks) with a significance value that meets the criteria for accepting the hypothesis. The conclusion of this study shows that the PjBL model has a significant effect on students' ability to write expressions and messages creatively in the form of slogan texts. This model is recommended as an effective solution to improve creative writing skills at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level.

Abstract

Mantra is a genre of oral literature in the form of a language composition imbued with belief in the supernatural and sacred world. Mo Manggoba Gua is a type of mantra used by the Buol people, in the form of recitations carried out when planting dryland rice. This study aims to describe: (1) The form of the mo manggoba gua mantra, (2) The function of the mo manggoba gua mantra. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The research data are the mo manggoba gua mantra obtained from interviews with informants in Paleleh District, Buol Regency. The research data were collected through: (1) documentation, (2) interviews, (3) recording techniques, (4) note-taking techniques. Data analysis techniques include the following stages: (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, (3) drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study show 39 verses of the mo manggoba gua mantra classified into three types: farming mantra, maintenance and pest and disease control mantra, and harvest mantra. The entire data of the mo manggoba gua mantra is pure oral literature in the form of free poetry. Meanwhile, the mo manggoba gua mantra has four functions, namely: (1) as a projective function, (2) as a function of ratifying cultural institutions and institutions, (3) as an educational function, (4) as a social control function. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the mo manggoba gua mantra is an oral tradition that has an important role in the lives of the Buol people, both from an aesthetic, educational, cultural, and social aspect.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) terhadap kemampuan siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Satap Tabongo dalam mendesain slogan dan poster yang kreatif dan komunikatif. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain pra-eksperimen one group pretest-posttest, melibatkan 20 siswa sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes keterampilan dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif serta uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, dengan skor rata-rata pretest 39,80 (kategori rendah) menjadi 100,00 pada posttest, seluruh siswa berada pada kategori sangat baik, dan uji statistik menunjukkan p < 0,05. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model STAD, melalui kolaborasi, interdependensi positif, dan lingkungan belajar yang aman, efektif memfasilitasi pengembangan kreativitas dan keterampilan komunikasi visual siswa. Disimpulkan bahwa STAD merupakan model pembelajaran efektif untuk keterampilan produktif dan kreatif, khususnya di sekolah dengan sumber daya terbatas.

Abstract

The novel Please Look After Mom by Kyung-Sook Shin is a novel that describes the regret felt by each character due to the loss of their mother. Each emotion felt by the characters describes a psychological condition related to Krech & Cruthfield's psychology. This study aims to classify the forms of emotion experienced by the characters and describe the factors that cause the emotions felt by the characters in Kyung-Sook Shin's novel Please Look After Mom. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis approach. This study employs Krech & Crutchfield's psychological theory of emotions, utilizing a six-classification framework. Data collection techniques are carried out by reading and noting down things related to the study, then presenting the data by compiling important points. Based on the anaylisis, emotions are classified into six categories: (1) basic emotions; (2) emotions related to sensory stimulation; (3) emotions related to self-assessment; (4) emotions related to other people; (5) appreciative emotions; and (6) moods. The conclusion shows that there are 86 data points related to emotions based on this classification. The study's findings have implications for the development of literary psychology studies, particularly in understanding emotions. This research can also be utilized as literary learning material to enhance emotional awareness and deepen students’ or readers’ understanding of characters and human life. Therefore, this study is expected to broaden knowledge in the field of literary psychology and contribute to a deeper understanding of various types of emotions experienced by characters as representations of human emotional experiences.

Abstract

Konflik batin adalah suatu kejadian yang sering dialami manusia hingga membuat mereka berada dalam dua pilihan atau lebih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk bentuk konflik batin tokoh senja dalam novel Langit Senja karya Nadilla T.P.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Deskriptif Kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan  data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik baca dan teknik catat.Teknik analisis data yaitu Novel Langit Senja karya Nadilla T.P diberoleh beberapa konflik batin, yaitu konflik batin Rasa takut, kesedihan, Cemas, Frustasi, dan marah. Berikut pembahasan mengenai bentuk konflik batin. Novel Langit Senja karya Nadilla T.P. bukanlah sekadar kisah cinta remaja, melainkan sebuah eksplorasi mendalam tentang kompleksitas emosi manusia.
