Abstract

Administrative management involves overseeing the flow of data and information that both enters and exits an organization or educational institution. This process ensures that all aspects of communication and documentation are effectively managed. Activities consists of receiving, recording, classifying, processing, storing, typing, duplicating, sending information and data in writing that is needed by educational institutions / schools. This study aims to determine how the management, implementation and constraints of administrative management in improving school administration at SD Negeri 14 Banyuasin 1This research employs a qualitative methodology with a descriptive approach. The subjects of the study included the principal and the head of administration. Data collection was conducted using a combination of observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the administrative management at SD Negeri 14 Banyuasin 1 is effectively conducted through meetings and deliberations aimed at developing a comprehensive school administration plan. These gatherings facilitate better communication and collaboration among the principal, head of administration, and teachers. Overall, the implementation of administrative management has been relatively successful in enhancing school administration services at SD Negeri 14 Banyuasin 1. However, challenges remain, including issues related to the lack of discipline among administrative staff and a general lack of awareness regarding their responsibilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze student management at SD Negeri 02 Banyuasin II, which is located in Teluk Payo Village. A descriptive qualitative approach was used to collect data through observation, documentation, and interviews. One of the informants in this study was the principal of SD Negeri 02 Banyuasin II, who is also the manager of the educational institution. The data analysis techniques used included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that this school has carried out student management well, especially in terms of student management that has been used effectively to support educational activities. The management includes organizing new student admissions, orientation, attendance, extracurricular activities, and student evaluation. However, some obstacles were still found, such as the lack of fulfillment of students' administrative documents, especially birth certificates, as well as parental involvement that still needs to be improved. This study recommends the need for further socialisation to parents regarding the importance of administrative documents and improving communication between schools and parents to support students' educational success.

Abstract

Student management is a crucial aspect of the education system to create a conducive learning environment and enhance the quality of learning. SD Negeri 06 Rambutan, located in Sungai Kedukan Village, Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency, has implemented various programs and policies for student management, ranging from new student admissions, coaching, to character development. However, in practice, there are still several challenges, such as student discipline, participation in extracurricular activities, and the effectiveness of supervision. This study aims to analyze the student management system at SD Negeri 06 Rambutan to identify its strengths and the challenges encountered. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, as well as documentation of school policies related to student management. The data analysis technique employed is qualitative descriptive analysis, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that student management at SD Negeri 06 Rambutan has been well implemented in terms of student admission administration and academic coaching. The school has implemented various character-building programs through extracurricular and religious activities. However, some challenges remain, such as the lack of parental involvement in student supervision and limited supporting facilities and infrastructure. Therefore, strategies for improvement are needed, such as optimizing the role of teachers in supervision and fostering closer collaboration with parents and relevant stakeholders. This study recommends that the school enhance the effectiveness of student coaching programs through more innovative and participatory methods. With better student management, the quality of education and student character development at SD Negeri 06 Rambutan is expected to continue to improve.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influencing factors of the strategy for implementing School Operational Assistance (BOS) financing in overcoming distortions in financing communication for Prabumulih 3 Public Senior High School. This research is a qualitative research. In data collection, researchers used several collection techniques, namely: (1) in-depth interviews, (2) observation, (3) documentation study. The data analysis technique uses the analytical method using the Miles and Huberman Model which consists of three stages, namely: data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions or verification. following: Support from the Central Government, Support from Local Government and Cooperation and communication between managers. While the inhibiting factors in the management of school operational assistance funds (BOS) are as follows; At the time of disbursement, the BOS funds could not be used for major repairs, and the BOS funds had not been able to finance all school programs.

Abstract

Manajemen perpustakaan adalah proses pengelolaan perpustakaan untuk mencapai tujuan dengan menggunakan sumber daya yang ada.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti sumber daya manusia berkontribusi terhadap efektivitas pengelolaan perpustakaan dan meningkatkan minat baca siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Sumber data yang dipakai adalah primer dan sekunder. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan di SDN 09 Suak Tapeh, Kabupaten Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan, menggunakan Teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi.Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, Peran sumber daya manusia dalam manajemen perpustakaan sangat krusial untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa. Dengan pengelolaan yang baik, perpustakaan dapat berfungsi secara optimal sebagai sumber belajar. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan SDM perpustakaan harus menjadi prioritas untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Meskipun upaya untuk meningkatkan minat baca siswa diterapkan, namun kendala serta keterbatasan anggaran untuk pengadaan dapat menghambat optimalisasi fungsi perpustakaan sebagai pusat sumber informasi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the South Sumatra Provincial Government in enhancing teacher professionalism. A qualitative methodology was employed, utilizing interviews, observations and documentation for data collection. The data analysis process involved three stages: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings of the study indicate a strong commitment from the regional government to encourage teacher participation in the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG), supported by scholarships from the South Sumatra Provincial Government. Participation numbers have shown a steady increase: 70 teachers in 2021, 70 teachers in 2022, 118 teachers in 2023, and an expected 144 teachers in 2024. Despite this progress, there remain 3,567 Islamic Education (PAI) teachers who have not participated in the PPG. The support provided by the South Sumatra Provincial Government to improve teacher welfare through the PPG is crucial for enhancing teaching skills. This support includes the adoption of innovative learning methods and models, as well as improvements in the welfare of teachers in Senior High Schools (SMA), Vocational High Schools (SMK), and Special Education Schools (SLB) within the province. In conclusion, the South Sumatra Provincial Government plays a significant role in promoting teacher professionalism through financial support and welfare improvements, although challenges remain in reaching all eligible teachers

Abstract

Literasi keuangan merupakan keterampilan penting yang perlu ditanamkan sejak usia dini, terutama pada siswa sekolah dasar yang cenderung belum memahami perbedaan antara kebutuhan dan keinginan. Rendahnya pemahaman ini menyebabkan uang saku sering digunakan untuk hal-hal yang tidak bermanfaat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas sosialisasi budaya menabung dalam meningkatkan literasi keuangan siswa di SDN 11 Lubuk Keliat. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum sosialisasi, sebagian besar siswa belum memahami konsep dasar literasi keuangan. Namun, setelah dilakukan sosialisasi, terjadi perubahan perilaku yang positif, di mana siswa mulai memahami pentingnya menabung dan mampu menyisihkan sebagian uang saku mereka. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penguatan literasi keuangan melalui kebiasaan menabung dapat membentuk perilaku keuangan yang baik sejak dini. Penelitian ini juga menegaskan pentingnya peran sekolah, keluarga, dan lingkungan dalam mendukung pendidikan keuangan anak.   Financial literacy is an essential skill that needs to be instilled from an early age, especially among elementary school students who often struggle to distinguish between needs and wants. This lack of understanding leads to pocket money frequently being spent on non-essential items. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of saving culture socialization in improving financial literacy among students at SDN 11 Lubuk Keliat. A qualitative method with a descriptive approach was employed. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that prior to the socialization, most students had a low understanding of basic financial concepts. However, after the intervention, students showed positive behavioral changes, demonstrating a better understanding of the importance of saving and starting to allocate part of their pocket money for savings. These findings suggest that strengthening financial literacy through saving habits can effectively foster sound financial behavior from an early age. The study also highlights the vital role of schools, families, and communities in supporting children's financial education.

Abstract

School libraries play an important role in supporting learning and promoting a culture of literacy among students. As an information and learning resource centre, the library not only provides a collection of books but also contributes to forming sustainable reading habits. However, for this function to be optimised, the library needs to have a clear and systematic profile. The library profile serves as a comprehensive description of the library's condition, services, infrastructure, and programmes that have been and will be implemented. This study aims to analyse how the library profile can be a reference in strengthening the literacy program at SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. Using a qualitative approach with literature study and participatory mentoring methods, this research involved direct observation, interviews and document analysis related to school literacy policies and library standards. Data analysis techniques used with data triangulation were conducted to ensure the validity of the findings by comparing information from various sources. The results showed that developing a comprehensive library profile not only facilitates library management but also strengthens accreditation, increases student engagement in literacy activities and opens up opportunities for collaboration with various parties. In addition, the findings in this study also show that library profiles can be an instrument in planning and evaluating school literacy programmes. With a systematic and structured library profile document, the library can be more optimal in supporting students' academic achievement and building a sustainable literacy culture in the school environment.

Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi, pendidikan yang berkualitas menjadi salah satu pilar utama dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM). Kurikulum Merdeka Berbasis Kompetensi hadir sebagai solusi dalam mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka Berbasis Kompetensi di SDN 16 Banyuasin 3 dan dampaknya terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data interaktif model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka Berbasis Kompetensi di SDN 16 Banyuasin 3 masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, terutama dalam hal pemahaman dan implementasi oleh para guru. Dalam prosesnya, guru dan siswa mengalami berbagai dinamika dalam menyesuaikan diri dengan pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih fleksibel ini. Beberapa guru merasakan kesulitan dalam menerapkan metode yang sesuai, sementara siswa menunjukkan respons yang beragam terhadap perubahan kurikulum. Meskipun demikian, ditemukan bahwa pembelajaran menjadi lebih interaktif, dengan siswa yang lebih aktif bertanya dan terlibat dalam diskusi di kelas. Selain itu, adanya dukungan dari pihak sekolah dan orang tua menjadi faktor yang membantu kelancaran penerapan kurikulum ini. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pendampingan dan pelatihan lebih lanjut bagi guru agar penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka berbasis kompetensi dapat berjalan lebih optimal sesuai dengan kebutuhan di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Posyandu memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung kesehatan ibu dan anak di tingkat desa. Namun, pelaksanaannya masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti rendahnya keterlibatan masyarakat, kurangnya tenaga kader, serta terbatasnya sumber daya. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, pendekatan berbasis nilai-nilai Islam dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pengelolaan Posyandu. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat layanan Posyandu dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam, seperti kebersamaan, kepedulian sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Pendekatan yang digunakan bersifat partisipatif, melibatkan kader Posyandu, tenaga kesehatan, masyarakat, serta tokoh agama dalam setiap tahapan kegiatan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui edukasi kesehatan, pengamatan langsung terhadap aktivitas Posyandu, serta diskusi kelompok bersama warga. Keterlibatan tokoh agama dalam menyampaikan pesan-pesan kesehatan secara islami memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat, khususnya terkait kesehatan ibu dan anak. Nilai-nilai Islam yang ditanamkan tidak hanya memperkuat semangat gotong royong, tetapi juga membangun rasa tanggung jawab bersama dalam menjaga kesehatan keluarga. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan berbasis nilai-nilai keislaman dapat menjadi langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan Posyandu di tingkat komunitas secara menyeluruh.
