Abstract

This study aims to explore risk management in wealth protection from the perspective of Islamic economics. The main issue is how Islamic economics provides sustainable risk management solutions that align with Sharia principles for safeguarding individual and collective wealth. The scope of this research includes relevant Islamic economic concepts, mechanisms, and instruments for wealth protection, such as zakat, waqf, and takaful. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a library research approach, where data is collected from various sources such as scientific journals, books, and reports related to Islamic economics and risk management. The data analyzed included Islamic economic theories from experts such as Al-Ghazali and Ibn Khaldun and contemporary concepts related to Sharia risk management. The results show that risk management in Islamic economics aims not only to protect wealth but also to ensure social balance and the distribution of economic justice. An interesting finding from this study is the application of instruments such as zakat and waqf that can effectively reduce people's financial risks, help redistribute wealth, and create economic resilience. In addition, the concept of takaful as Sharia-based insurance also plays a role in mitigating individual financial risks fairly and transparently. The implications of this study reinforce the importance of integrating Sharia principles into economic policy to achieve long-term financial sustainability and stability.

Abstract

Ideally, human resource management (HRM) development within the government sector should improve employee performance through structured and targeted programs such as education and training (diklat), technical guidance, and seminars that support skill enhancement and work quality. However, in reality, at the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of North Sumatra, HRM development is often poorly organized and not aligned with employees' work schedules, leading to inefficiency in achieving organizational goals. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the existing HRM development implementation model and to identify the evaluations carried out to improve employee performance. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive study methodology. The findings show that the implementation model of HRM development at the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of North Sumatra has not been optimally implemented. Evaluations of HRM development programs reveal a mismatch between the implementation of the programs and the employees' needs, as well as a lack of sufficient financial support for development activities.

Abstract

Grosir Jasa Barona is a wholesaler located in Tuasan, selling various daily necessities including staple goods. The location was chosen due to inventory management issues at the wholesaler, where stock is ordered once a month in quantities predetermined by the owner. Despite this, the inventory often results in overstock or stock shortages. This research aims to assist in establishing proper inventory management at the wholesaler by implementing the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Reorder Point (ROP) methods. The EOQ method was selected to determine the optimal quantity of staple goods to order, while the ROP method helps identify the appropriate timing for reordering. The focus of this study is to improve inventory management at Grosir Jasa Barona. A qualitative approach was used, employing both primary and secondary data, with data collected through direct observation and interviews. The results showed that using EOQ and ROP methods can significantly improve inventory management at this Tuasan-based wholesaler. The implication of this research is that effective inventory management can lead to better cost control and increased profitability for the business.

This research aims to determine the partial and simultaneous influence of the variables Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return On Assets, and Return On Equity on Stock Returns. This type of research is quantitative research with secondary data in the form of financial reports of transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the Covid-19 pandemic for the 2019-2020 period. The population of transportation companies on the IDX is 46 companies with samples taken using purposive sampling techniques. Based on the criteria, 24 companies were sampled in this research. So the total data for 2 years is 48 data. The data analysis used in the research is the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis test, and hypothesis testing using SPSS version 26 software to process the data. The results of this research show that partially the current ratio has a significant value of 0,003 < 0,05, which means it has a significant effect on stock returns. The debt to equity ratio has a sigmificant value of 0,211 > 0,05, which means it has no significant effect on partial stock returns. Return on assets has a significant value of 0.046 <0.05, which means it has a significant effect on stock returns. Meanwhile, simultaneously the current ratio, debt to equity ratio, and return on assets have a significant influence on stock returns with a significant value of 0.026 < 0.05. Then the R Square test results show a value of 0.187 or the equivalent of 18.7%. From these results it can be explained that 18.7% of the independent variables CR, DER, and ROA are able to explain stock returns as the dependent variable. Meanwhile, the remainder, namely 81.3% of the possibility of stock returns, is explained by other variables not included in this research.
