Abstract

Sakola Motekar merupakan salah satu wisata desa yang berada di Desa Sukajadi Kabupaten Ciamis. Wisata tersebut telah dikenal oleh banyak orang termasuk wisatawan asing. Namun sumber daya manusia khususnya anggota KWT yang akan bersinggungan dengan wisatawan asing belum memiliki kemampuan berbahasa Inggris yang baik sehingga menghambat komunikasi. Hambatan dalam komunikasi tersebut ditakutkan dapat mempengaruhi ketertarikan wisatawan asing di kemudian hari sehingga dapat mengurangi jumlah pengunjung Sakola Motekar. Maka dari itu, pengabdian kepada masyarakat mengenai pelatihan berbahasa Inggris perlu dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat khususnya anggota KWT di RW 03 Desa Sukajadi. Pelatihan ini dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali pertemuan terhadap 3 kelompok KWT yaitu KWT Melati II, KWT Mandoro, dan KWT Mawar. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan ini menggunakan metode ceramah dengan materi mengenai daily conversation. Hasil yang didapatkan dari pelatihan ini merujuk pada hasil positif karena mengalami peningkatan nilai antara pretest dan posttest. Dari hasil tersebut diharapkan mampu membantu dalam mempersiapkan Sakola Motekar menuju wisata yang dikenal wisatawan lokal dan wisatawan asing.

Abstract

Madiasari Village is a pilot tourism village located in Cineam District, Tasikmalaya Regency where there are several potentials ranging from religious tourism, cultural tourism, to nature tourism, and even local micro, small and medium business centers such as crafts and food. There are several obstacles that cause all these sectors not to be optimized, starting from the lack of public awareness of the local potential owned and not understanding the community about marketing micro, small and medium business products in digital marketing. The purpose of the implementation of this digital marketing training is to help the community, especially micro, small and medium enterprises in marketing their products digitally in order to get a wider market and introduce local products in Madisari Village. In this Digital Marketing Training activity using the social demand approach method and integrative approach. The result of this digital marketing training is that the Madiasari Village community understands the strategies in marketing their products digitally in order to get a wider market.

Abstract

This dedication was motivated by the low interest in reading by the community, especially in the young generation of school age in the environment around TBM Sekar Bangbara. This service aims to analyze and document the application of interactive storytelling as an innovative strategy in increasing children's interest in reading at TBM Sekarbangbara. With a focus on early literacy development, this study identifies the steps of community service preparation, from determining the type of service to compiling concepts, as well as implementation stages such as the selection of fairy tales, procurement of reading books, and making property. With this activity, it is hoped that TBM Sekarbangbara can be an effective model in responding to children's literacy needs, creating a stimulating learning environment, and supporting positive development in the local community. The results of this study can contribute to further understanding of the application of interactive storytelling as a strategy to increase children's interest in reading in various community literacy centers.

Abstract

This article discusses the impact of gadget use on children at Madrasah At-Ta’awun, Tasikmalaya, West Java, with the main focus on preventing excessive gadget use and potential negative effects on children's psychology, learning achievement, and quality of life. Based on the author's community service, the majority of children at Madrasah At-Ta’awun are engaged in religious education through the madrasah, and some of them already have access to gadgets. Gadget usage tends to be focused on entertainment, such as playing games and exploring social media. To address this issue, the author suggests utilizing information technology through instructional videos that explain the dangers of excessive gadget use, preventive measures, and discussion sessions. Rewards in the form of food are given to active participants. This solution plan aims to provide understanding and change children's behavior regarding gadget use at Madrasah At-Ta’awun.

Abstract

Stunting is still a serious health problem in Indonesia, based on the 2018 Basic Health Research, the prevalence of stunted toddlers reached 30.8%. There are several factors that contribute to stunting, namely poor nutrition and consumption of unhealthy food, which have an impact on children's physical and cognitive growth. The Ciamis Regency Government targets reducing the stunting rate to 14% by 2024 through various programs such as stunting consultations and convergence services in villages. The main program is to assist Human Development Cadres (KPM) in collecting stunting data using manual Excel formulas as a solution to problems with the eHDW application. This activity involved FKIP Edu students as facilitators in 13 sub-districts to assist KPM in inputting stunting data accurately. The method used in delivering the material uses demonstration and discussion methods, where activities directly involve participants as data sources in mentoring activities. Evaluation shows that this program has succeeded in increasing data accuracy and active participation from KPM, village midwives and related parties, thus supporting efforts to accelerate stunting reduction in Ciamis Regency.

Abstract

Stunting is a health issue that is being paid attention to by the world, including Indonesia. Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that affects the growth and development of children aged 0-59 months and is a global concern. In Indonesia itself, the stunting prevalence rate in Indonesia continues to decline, but has not yet reached the 2024 national target. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and understanding of Human Development Cadres (KPM) in reporting stunting data using Microsoft Excel format with the aim of increasing the accuracy and quality of the data. The methods used include lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and assessment of data improvement results by KPM. The results of the activity showed that the socialization was successful in improving the quality and accuracy of stunting data by showing an increase in the percentage of report improvement results, such as in Cimaragas Village from 9.26% to 60% and in Jayaraksa Village from 52.54% to 83%. In conclusion, KPM understands and is able to fill in the data correctly in the format provided

Abstract

Educational technology literacy is a system that is used to support learning. In the service carried out, the educational technology used in its implementation is administrative tools and learning media. Children's development is influenced by their creativity capacity, which allows them to express their thoughts and discover new things so that they can think creatively, provide a good stimulus for children and can increase their creativity. Their development is influenced by all aspects in their environment such as family, playmates and even technology and information that develops in their time. This service is carried out for character direction in children regarding educational technology that can be used in learning, as well as the introduction of positive impacts and negative impacts of technology. The method of implementation is carried out by determining the location of the activity, determining the procedure of the activity, determining the time of implementation, implementing the activity and evaluating the activity to find the results of the service, namely children can practice how to do learning by using learning media, and can mention what are the negative and positive impacts of educational technology, and can know what to do if there is social deviation caused by technology

Abstract

Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program was launched by the government through the Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi, Riset, dan Teknologi (Diktiristek) as a form of assistance to schools that still have deficiencies. This initiative is designed to address the challenges faced by every UPTD. The main focus of this service is to assess the effectiveness of Kampus Mengajar programs in improving school literacy and numeracy and student literacy culture at SMP Negeri 21 Tasikmalaya. This study uses descriptive qualitative research techniques to present the observed facts methodically. Data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation. The process of improving literacy, numeracy and literacy culture of students is carried out through innovation programs held by teaching campus students, namely: (1)literacy education with West Java reading ambassadors, (2)mobile library visits, (3)reading terraces (4)mading renewal, (5)fan math, and (6)literacy classes. The results showed that the program "Kampus Mengajar" has a positive impact on improving literacy, numeracy and literacy culture of students. The students showed an increase in enthusiasm in program activities, especially through their interaction with the students participating in the batch 6 Kampus Mengajar

Abstract

Kemiskinan yang terjadi di indonesia bukan hal yang mudah untuk di tangani, hal ini menjadi sebuah permasalahan sosial yang di hadapi oleh masyarakat. Kemiskinan dapat menyebabkan individu memikirkan berbagai cara untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya. Salah satu penyebab kemiskinan di Tasikamalaya di karenakan perempuan yang tidak mampu mengelola keuangan dan berperilaku konsumtif. Oleh sebab itu dalam penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pendidikan dan pelatihan pengelolaan keuangan keluarga melalui program P2WKSS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pendidikan dan pelatihan pengelolaan keuangan keluarga melalui program P2WKSS dilaksanakan dengan memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan mengenai pengelolaan keuangan keluarga dengan baik seperti memberikan pendidikan mengenai cara mengelola keuangan keluarga berdasarkan skala prioritas, keseimbangan pendapatan dan pengeluaran, serta perencanaan pengeluaran keuangan keluarga. Selain itu, memberikan pelatihan berupa simulasi membuat daftar skala prioritas dengan melaksanakan pembukuan sederhana mengenai pengeluaran dan pendapatan keluarga. Kegiatan ini bermanfaat bagi perempuan khususnya anggota P2WKSS karena dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pengelolaan keuangan keluarga. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui peran karang taruna dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berorganisasi para generasi Z yang ada di Kampung Genteng, Kelurahan Cilamajang, kecamatan Kawalu, Kota Tasikmalaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil akhir dari penelitian yang kami lakukan. Peran IKAMUGENCI ini sangatlah diperlukan oleh masyarakat sekitar termasuk bagi para generasi Z. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah kami lakukan, peran IKAMUGENCI sebagai Karang Taruna Unit RW di Kampung Genteng Kelurahan Cilamajang Kecamatan Kawalu Kota Tasikmalaya ini sangatlah diperlukan oleh masyarakat sekitar termasuk bagi para generasi Z. Berikut rincian dari Berikut rincian dari peran IKAMUGENCI ini: 1) Sebagai organisasi sosial pemecah setiap permasalahan-permasalahan yang ada di Kampung Genteng Kelurahan Cilamajang Kecamatan Kawalu Kota Tasikmalaya, dan 2) Sebagai organisasi sosial yang memberikan pembinaan tentang keterampilan berorganisasi bagi para Generasi Z yang ada di Kampung Genteng Kelurahan Cilamajang Kecamatan Kawalu Kota Tasikmalaya.
