Mathematics learning carried out at SMP Kristen Kefamenanu refers to a teacher-centered learning system. Microsoft Excel is one application that can be used as a medium for learning mathematics to make it easier for students to solve problems, especially those related to the presentation of graphs. SMP Kristen Kefamenanu has a Computer Laboratory which also has a Microsoft Excel application. The purpose of this service is to provide Charting training using Microsoft Excel as a means of mathematics learning tool to students in SMP Kristen Kefamenanu. The activity was carried out for two days, and during the course of the activity students showed enthusiasm and were able to follow directions during the activity. The results of feedback given by students on the answers to the satisfaction questionnaire showed that students gave categories of strongly agree and agree on 18 questions. This shows that the existence of PKM activities that have been carried out can help students better understand mathematics lessons delivered at school, as well as increase knowledge for students in using Microsoft Excel as a tool for mathematics learning.

Performance evaluation of classification methods on big data is becoming increasingly important in addressing the challenges of data analysis at scale. This study aims to conduct a comparative evaluation of the classification method, namely Decision Trees (DT), Naive Bayes (NB), k-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), and Support Vector Machines (SVM), in analysis on big data evaluated from data simulation and application of real data available in the Rstudio package, namely ISLR. The simulation data used consisted of 2 types of datasets generated based on predictor variables that were normally distributed with different averages and variants and response variables generated in classes adjusted to the characteristics of predictor variables with different proportions. Real data are taken from two types of numeric variables and predictor variables available in the package. The number of sample sizes to be evaluated in each method is n = 500, n = 1000 and n = 5000. In real data, sample division is done randomly to maintain data representativeness. At the evaluation stage, the performance of the method is measured using accuracy metrics. The results of the evaluation of the simulation of Dataset 1 show that the methods that have an influence on the quality of the classification produced if applied to Big Data are the DT and KNN methods. However, in Dataset 2 there is a change in the results of the DT method, because of the influence on the number of classes and the proportion of class distribution in the data. The results obtained from data simulation, proven by applying to real data by showing that similar methods provide a quality influence if applied to Big Data, while the NB and SVM methods do not show a consistent influence when applied to Big Data. The results of observations in this study show that the DT and KNN methods have several advantages that make them suitable for application to Big Data.

Community service activity aimed to provide an understanding of mathematical concepts consists of tips and tricks to solve exam questions for junior high school students. Furthermore, the background of the implementation of this training is to get students used to solve non-routine problems found during national examination, particularly in mathematics subject. This community service was carried out from October to November 2019 with 15 participants. This activity consists of three stages starting with the field assessment, the implementation stage and the last is final stage. In the field assessment stage, the servant determines the trainees to work national examination questions quickly and accurately that is specifically for junior high school students and determine where training will be held. The second stage is the implementation stage for exposuring to rapid strategies in administering national examination, question and answer, and national examination simulation. The final stage is the evaluation stage that is an implementation evaluation of theactivities that have been arranged based on each task that has been given .Based on the training activity that have been carried out it can be concluded that the training activity adds the knowledge and skills of students in working mathematics national examination questions. In addition, this training motivates students to be more active in learning mathematics and to be more mature in preparing for the upcoming national examination. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide an introduction to training in making scientific papers for teachers of Gita Surya Eban Junior High School. Furthermore, the background for the implementation of this socialization is to provide information about how to make educational and non-educational scientific papers, as well as provide information to teachers on the importance of making scientific papers as a prerequisite for promotion and class. This service activity has been carried out since November 2020 with 18 participants. This activity is carried out by introducing the types of research that are experimental in the laboratory.

The introducing and training of the Mendeley application for students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Education, University of Timor aims to improve students' understanding and skills in using Mendeley application in writing research articles. This community service activity was carried out from June 2021 to August 2021 which takes place in the Hall of the Faculty of Education, University of Timor. The method applied in this training is lecture and practice. The activity was attended by 19 students of the Mathematics Education Study Program. This service activity is very useful students because they can understand the strategy of finding quality references using the Mendeley application. This can be seen from the way of citation and references using Mendeley in the articles of those students.

Microsoft excel is application that used as a learning aid in schools. The use of microsoft excel has been very commonly used in education activity. Microsoft excel is very useful to help learning process for students and educators. Microsoft excel has been known as a spreadsheet worksheet application program that is very helpful in data processing and reporting activities. It is equipped with calculation and graph creation features in the form of a number processor with various formulations to process data automatically including basic calculations, data management and data creation. SMP Kristen Kefamenanu had many students in the school that are still who do not understand and skilled in using computers. The lack of use of computers in learning materials except for Learning Information Technology and Computers (ICT) which is generally used as an extracurricular subject. The purpose of this community service activity is to introduce microsoft excel as a mathematics learning tool carried out at SMP Kristen Kefamenanu. The results of the activity can be knowing the basics of microsoft excel and finding mean values, median and single data mode with microsoft excel. At every lesson activity that has been conducted, students can show improvement in operating microsoft excel and can be seen from the test results provided.

SMP Kristen Kefamenanu has facilities and infrastructure such as the availability of classrooms, computer laboratory rooms, libraries and others. There are obstacles in the implementation of school learning that is still centered on teachers and does not use computer-aided learning media. Therefore, service activities are carried out to increase the interest and ability of students in the learning process through the use of computer technology. Some of the activities carried out to solve problems in SMP Kristen Kefamenanu: a) providing training on Mathematics learning media for SMP Kristen Kefamenanu and b) providing training on computer technology in the form of MS. Excel Software to SMP Kristen Kefamenanu. The results of the service activities carried out show that there is an increase for students in understanding mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division involving complex numbers. In addition, the existence of computer-aided media also increases students' interest for learning process.

Parameter estimation is an estimation of the population parameter values based on data or samples of population. Parameter estimation can be solverd by several methods, one of which is the Maximum Likelihood method. The focus of this research is to estimate the parameter value of a normal distribution data with Maximum Likelihood based on iteration algorithm. The iteration algorithm that will be used is the Expectation Maximation Algorithm with help of Matlab 2016a program. Based on the results obtained that the estimation value of the parameter and for an accident data in Indonesia based on age group with using Expectation Maximization algorithm is and with 2 iterations.

An option is a contract between the seller’s option and the buyer’s option, while the factors that affect the value of the option are the stock price (S), the strike price (K), the maturity date (T), interest rate (r), volatility (σ). The application of the models in this study uses daily stock closing data from PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk from July 18, 2019, until September 19, 2019, so that the initial stock price is = Rp1,090, the interest rate is 5.5%, the value stock price volatility is 0.253. The computation of the option prices using the Black Scholes model aims to found out all the values generated from European type put options. By applying the Black Scholes model, the value generated from the European type option is Rp14,768.

Etnomatematika merupakan irisan antara matematika dan budaya. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keunikan budaya suatu daerah tertentu berpotensi adanya makna simbolik serta konsep atau pola matematika di dalamnya. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui makna simbolik serta konsep matematika yang terdapat pada rumah adat Hamanas Malaka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi, yang dilaksanakan di Desa Badarai, Kecamatan Wewiku-Malaka pada bulan April-Mei 2022. Subjek dalam penelitan ini berjumlah 5 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa peneliti, observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa makna simbolik yang ditemukan pada rumah adat Hamanas adalahberakhirnya perjalanan pelayaran, penghormatan, kesatuan berbagai tingkatan, relasi vertikal antara manusia dengan wujud tertinggi, kelapangan atau ketulusan hati, karunia dari leluhur, keseimbangan, kesetaraan dan harmonisasi. Sedangkan Konsep matematika yang ditemukan dalam rumah adat Hamanas yaitu bangun datar, bangun ruang, kosep membilang, dan konsep jarak.
