Abstract

This study aims to describe Teacher Difficulties in Applying Learning Models based on the 2013 Curriculum at SDN 13 Belutu. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were the principal and 3 classroom teachers at SDN 13 Belutu. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Milles and Huberman model with stages, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed that at SDN 13 Belutu the teacher had implemented a learning model that was by the 2013 curriculum. The learning model used by the teacher was the Discovery Learning model and the Problem Based Learning model. The teacher's difficulty in applying the Discovery Learning learning model is the use of time. Because during the Covid-19 pandemic, the learning time is very short compared to before the pandemic. Furthermore, the difficulty of the teacher in applying the Problem Based Learning model is that the teacher has difficulty in allocating time and determining problems that are by the learning material when they want to use the Problem Based Learning model. And the last is the teacher's difficulty in implementing the Project-Based Learning model. The teacher has difficulty in determining the material and choosing the right time so the teacher does not use the Project-Based Learning model in the learning process.

Abstract

Reward and punishment are very important in motivating students because through reward and punishment students will become more confident and responsible with the tasks given. Reward and punishment are two contradictory words, however, the two things are interrelated. The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of reward and punishment on the learning motivation of fourth-grade elementary school students. This type of research is quantitative. This study uses a random sampling technique, the research subjects are all fourth-grade students for the 2021/2022 academic year with a total student population of 92 students. The results of data processing shows that the independent variables (reward (X1) and punishment (X2)) simultaneously have a significant effect on the dependent variable of learning motivation (Y) this is indicated by the calculated F value of 44.722 which is greater than F table 2.69, meaning this causes Hi to be accepted.

Abstract

This development research was carried out based on the teacher's difficulty in presenting interesting student worksheets (LKS), this is evidenced by the incompleteness and interestingness of other teaching materials such as worksheets that can help students understand the material. This study aims to test the feasibility of LKS in mathematics subjects with the content of fractions in fourth-grade elementary school. This research is development research using the ADDIE model. The data collected in this study are quantitative data and qualitative data. The methods used to collect data are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The subjects involved in this study were 1 design expert, 1 material expert and 1 linguist, 1 teacher, and 6 students. The data analysis technique used is quantitative and qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The results showed that the feasibility of the LKS from the aspects of design, material, and language obtained an average score of 93.13% by category. Then the analysis of the fourth-grade teacher's response questionnaire to the LKS obtained an average of 86.91% with the "Very Interesting" category while the analysis of the student response questionnaire obtained an average of 100% with the "Very Interesting" category.

Abstract

This development research was carried out because there are still many teachers who have not been able to use technology as a learning medium to make students less interested in the material taught by the teacher. This research aims to develop Powerpoint-based interactive multimedia that utilizes technology and its creation and implementation. This research was conducted at SDN 010 Kuantan Sako, which is intended for a fifth-grade elementary school. This is an ADDIE development research (Analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Still, due to limited time, energy, and costs, the researchers only did it until the Development stage, not proceeding to the Implementation and Evaluation stages. The approach used by researchers in this study is qualitative and quantitative. This research uses two kinds of data: primary and secondary data. Researchers obtained preliminary data using interviews, observations, and product assessments by validators, while secondary data were obtained by researchers from books, journals, and previous research thesis. This research was conducted by testing the validity of six validators: two media validators, two language validators, and two material validators. The result of the media expert validity test is 100%, the result of the linguist validity test is 89.42%, and the last result of the material expert validity test is 89.06%, with a final average of 92.82%. So based on the validity test of the thematic interactive multimedia based on PowerPoint conducted by six validators, it showed valid results so that it was feasible to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the need for engaging learning media to enhance students’ understanding of fractions in Grade III at SDN 008 Beringin Taluk, Kuantan Singingi. The limited use of local culture-based media has contributed to a decline in learning outcomes below the minimum mastery criteria (KKM). The study aimed to describe the development process, determine the validity, and assess teachers’ and students’ responses to animated video media in mathematics learning. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The population consisted of media experts, material experts, Grade III teachers, and Grade III students. The sample was selected through purposive sampling, totaling nine participants: three experts, three teachers, and three students. The research instruments included questionnaires, with primary data obtained through interviews, observations, and trials, and secondary data collected from relevant documents and literature. Data analysis applied descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods based on the percentage of validation scores. The validation results showed scores of 82% from material experts, 93.3% from media experts, 95% from language experts, and 100% from both teachers and students, all falling into the “highly valid” category. Beyond delivering fraction content, the media also integrates local cultural values such as Pacu Jalur, making the learning process more meaningful. It is concluded that animated video media based on local wisdom are highly feasible as a supporting tool for Grade III mathematics learning and have the potential to preserve local culture through education.

Abstract

Asesmen diagnostik merupakan asesmen yang bertujuan untuk melihat kesiapan belajar peserta didik. Asesmen diagnostik terbagi kedalam dua jenis, yaitu asesmen diagnostik kognitif dan asesmen diagnostik non-kognitif. Asesmen diagnostik kognitif yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan intelektual dan pemahaman konseptual siswa. Asesmen diagnostik non-kognitif bertujuan menggambarkan profil siswa secara menyeluruh. Kegiatan sosialisasi penilaian diagnostik ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kapada guru terhadap pentingnya melakukan asesmen diagnostik sebelum Pelajaran dimulai. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan empat tahapan kegiatan yaitu: pemberian pretest, pemberian materi/pelaksanaan kegiatan sosialisasi, praktek merancang instrumen penilaian diagnostik, postest. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukan perbedaan antara nilai rata-rata pretest 34,32 sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest 69,88. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan peningkatan pemahaman guru-guru terhadap penilaian diagnostik, sehingga guru-guru dapat menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dengan mengetahui kondisi awal peserta didik, mengetahui kebutuhan peserta didik, serta menciptakan pembelajaran yang berdiferensiasi.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa di kelas IV SDN 177 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini mengunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket/kuesioner yang diberikan oleh oleh 51 responden berisis 22 pernyataan atau pertanyaan yang akan dijawab oleh peserta didik yang isinya motivasi belajar siswa dikelas IV SDN 177 Pekanbaru dan dokumentasi hasil belajar. penentuan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan tekni sampel jenuh karena semua angota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel pada penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang posotif dan signifikan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa. Besarnya koefisien korelasi yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 0,367, yang berarti r hitung yang diperoleh lebih besar dibanding dengan r tabel yang telah ditentukan pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan perhitungan rhitung 0,367 > 0,266 hal ini berarti rhitung > rtabel yang memiliki arti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa di kelas IV SDN 177 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kendala peran orang tua dalam proses pembelajaran siswa kelas VSDIT Al-Hidayah Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode deskiptif. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa instrumen wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data yang mengacu pada metode Miles and Huberman dengan hasil penelitian berupa pendeskripsian tentang kendala peran orang tua dalam proses pembelajaran siswa kelas V SDIT Al-Hidayah Pekanbaru.Terdapat 3 faktor kendala peran orang tua yaitu latar belakang pendidikan orang tua, ekonomi dan kesibungan yang dimiliki orang tua. Hasil yang ditemukan di lapangan sudah sesuai dengan teori, masih ditemukan orang tua yang terkendala dalam menjalankkan perannya. Sebagai pendidik, masih ada orang tua yang kesulitan dalam membantu menjelaskan materi kepada siswa dikarenakan keterbatasan pengetahuan yang dimiliki, tidak semua orang tua menyediakan fasilitas belajar lengkap karena keterbatasan ekonomi dan masih ada orang tua yang terkendala membimbing siswa dalam belajar karena kesibukan yang dimiliki.

Abstract

Minimnya minat belajar siswa terhadap matematika berdampak pada rendahnya pencapaian akademik mereka, khususnya di jenjang sekolah dasar. Minat belajar matematika siswa kelas V SDN 002 Koto Baru Singingi Hilir tergolong rendah sehingga prestasi belajarnya kurang memuaskan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh minat belajar terhadap prestasi belajar matematika. Metode korelasional kuantitatif digunakan dengan sampel jenuh sebanyak 55 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket minat belajar sebanyak 20 butir dan tes matematika pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 butir. Data dianalisis menggunakan SPSS 25, dengan hasil korelasi Pearson menunjukkan koefisien sebesar 0,762 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang kuat dan signifikan antara minat belajar dengan prestasi belajar matematika. Semakin tinggi minat belajar siswa, maka semakin baik prestasi belajar matematikanya. Kesimpulannya, minat belajar memiliki pengaruh yang kuat terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan minat belajar siswa harus menjadi fokus utama dalam proses pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi awal, guru kelas rendah di sekolah dasar menyusun perangkat pembelajaran ATP (Alur Tujan Pembelajaran), modul ajar dan penliaian untuk menunjang   proses pembelajaran. fungsi Perangkat pembelajaran untuk menjadikan proses mbelajaran terencana dan terarah.  Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru  alam   menyusun perangkat pembelajaran di ekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan naturalistic inqury. Teknik dan instrument pengumpulan data yaitu  wawancara,  observasi  dan  dokumentasi.   Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan  kesimpulan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah kemampuan guru di kelas rendah dalam menyusun  perangkat pembelajaran yang berupa ATP, modul ajar dan penliaian. dengan mengikuti secara keseluruhan tahapan dan komponen perangkat pembelajaran.
