Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi sedang bertransformasi ke Era Society 5.0 telah mendorong perpaduan pembelajaran daring dan luring di dunia pendidikan. Meskipun menawarkan fleksibilitas, setiap sistem memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangannya masing-masing, yang berpotensi memengaruhi kepuasan mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kepuasan belajar mahasiswa terhadap kedua mode pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam periode agustus – september melalui penyebaran angket dengan 39 responden serta hasil di uji menggunakan dependen sampel t-test dalam setiap aspek yang menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa lebih merasa puas belajar secara luring (tatap muka) dibandingkan secara daring.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how big data technology is used in business risk analysis. The use of big data today is very massive, used in many fields including accounting or economics. The need for data in a business is important for business people to carry out operations and make decisions and create policies to enable the business they own to reduce risks that may occur. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with a library approach. Based on research conducted, it was found that Big data can be used to identify and stop dangers in the financial industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendalam pada analisis sentimen ulasan pelanggan terhadap maskapai penerbangan di Indonesia melalui NLP dan Machine Learning. Dalam prosesnya, data ulasan melibatkan serangkaian teknik, termasuk cleansing, case folding, tokenization, filtering, dan stemming, sementara sentimen diberikan label menggunakan lexicon afinn. Visualisasi kata-kata dominan dari ulasan diwujudkan melalui wordcloud untuk memberikan gambaran yang kaya dan intuitif. Ekstraksi fitur melibatkan metode TF-IDF, diikuti oleh proses klasifikasi menggunakan algoritma Random Forest dan K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN). Hasil evaluasi model menunjukkan tingkat akurasi yang memuaskan, dengan Random Forest mencapai 83% dan KNN mencapai 82%. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan yang dalam tentang preferensi pelanggan dan potensial masalah dalam pengalaman penerbangan di Indonesia, memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih holistik terhadap dinamika industri penerbangan.

Abstract

English for Tourism in tourism education institutions should equip students with English skills relevant to their academic and workplace settings. In Central Kalimantan, the tourism students must also have the knowledge of local tourism. Unfortunately, no English for Tourism book currently includes relevant local content. To address this gap, a needs analysis was conducted to explore the necessary language skills, topics, and local content to be incorporated into English for Tourism materials for these students. This research employed both quantitative and qualitative methods, utilizing a questionnaire and a focused-group interview. This research has shown a number of findings. It was revealed that the students prioritize speaking, listening and vocabulary, followed by other skills and components. They also need the materials that cover a range of topics, including general and local tourism content. Tour guiding, describing tourist spots, and tourism-related jobs were among the preferred essential topics. Last, the local content should encompass historical and cultural sites, natural tourism spots in Central Kalimantan, Dayak cultural and arts performances, Dayak traditions, as well as animal conservation and ecotourism. Tailoring local content into English for Tourism materials will better facilitate the students improving their English competence ready to fit the actual demand of the tourism sector in Central Kalimantan.

Abstract

Student discipline cannot happen spontaneously. In an effort to improve student discipline, it is necessary to carry out a habit that is carried out repeatedly. Student discipline at Codo Elementary School 3 is carried out through reading Juz 'Amma in the morning before learning begins. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study. The data collection techniques used by researchers are observation, interview and documentation techniques. The data analysis was carried out through the data reduction stage, data presentation and conclusion drawing or verification. While the data validity technique uses observation persistence and triangulation techniques and source triangulation. The results showed that: (1) The Juz 'Amma reading activity includes initial activities, core activities, and closing activities. (2) Supporting factors for the implementation of this activity include the packaging of fun activities, the active role of teachers, and the existence of adequate facilities. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is the lack of student awareness and the surrounding community environment. (3) The results of implementing this activity include time discipline, responsibility discipline, and discipline in enforcing rules. Kedisiplinan siswa tidak bisa terjadi secara spontan. Dalam upaya meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa perlu dilakukan kegiatan yang berulang-ulang. Kedisiplinan siswa di SDN 3 Codo dilakukan melalui kegiatan pembacaan Juz ‘Amma di pagi hari sebelum dimulainya pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang dilakukan meliputi tahap kondensasi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi. Sedangkan teknik validasi data menggunakan ketekunan pengamatan serta triangulasi yang meliputi triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Kegiatan pembacaan Juz ‘Amma ini meliputi kegiatan awal, kegiatan inti, dan penutup (2) Faktor pendukung pelaksanaan kegiatan ini di antaranya adalah pengemasan kegiatan yang menyenangkan, peran aktif guru, dan adanya fasilitas yang memadai. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah lemahnya kesadaran siswa dan lingkungan masyarakat sekitar. (3) Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya kedisiplinan siswa yang meliputi displin waktu, disiplin tanggung jawab, dan disiplin menegakkan aturan.  Kata Kunci: Pendisiplinan Siswa, Pembacaan Juz ‘Amma, SDN 3 Codo.

Abstract

This study discusses the dynamics of the development of HIV/AIDS in Lampung using SIR nonlinear differential equation model. The data is used on the number of people of HIV/AIDS and the number of residents in Lampung in 2016-2017 from the Central Bureau of Statistics and Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia Diseases Prevention Directorate. Stability analysis results based on the eigen values of the Jacobian matrix obtained disease free equilibrium point is that are semi stable due to the threshold phenomenon with eigen values and . The basic reproductive number of HIV/AIDS in Lampung at 90,313. These results indicate the HIV/AIDS epidemic will cause within a period of up to 100 years into the future.

Abstract

Character culture is an important pillar today in forming a good person. By instilling character in the process of teaching and learning activities to students can support the learning system more easily and effectively. Implementation of character in school management is a way for the situation in the school to run optimally with an interesting and conducive atmosphere. The character of school management has become something very important for teachers in the world of education, especially when teachers in the school nurture students. The implementation of character culture in school management is not only in the form of school settings, physical facilities and routines but also makes students' attitudes more characterful such as inculcating an attitude of independence, mutual cooperation, mutual respect, honesty, and others. By inculcating the character of school management, it is hoped that it can ease the task of teachers to get maximum results in increasing the effectiveness of learning. The research that the author conducted was a qualitative research taking the background of SMP Negeri 5 Binjai. The subject of this research is the implementation of the management character culture of SMP Negeri 5 Binjai. Data was collected by interview, observation and documentation study. Data analysis was carried out by qualitative descriptive, namely by describing and analyzing all field data and then making conclusions. The results of this study are expected to provide input in the cultivation of student character culture in the application of school management.

Abstract

Motorcycle piston waste, made from aluminum, is often poorly managed despite its advantages in corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity. This study aims to enhance the economic value of piston waste through recycling using the sand casting method. The melting process was conducted at a temperature of 843°C, followed by casting into sand molds. The recycled product is intended for use as a ship propeller component. Tests performed included Vickers hardness testing and microstructural analysis to evaluate the mechanical properties and material characteristics. The results showed that the recycled material exhibited an average hardness of 77.2 kg/mm², consistent with standard aluminum hardness. Microstructural analysis revealed the presence of porosity which may affect mechanical strength; however, this porosity did not reduce the material's resistance to mechanical damage and provided good toughness. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that motorcycle piston waste recycled by sand casting at 843 °C has potential for use in manufacturing high-value components such as ship propellers, considering the hardness quality and microstructural characteristics of the material.

Abstract

Transportation is very important in accelerating economic, social and cultural growth in a region. Surabaya is the capital of the province of East Java and is the largest city on the island of Java. Surabaya, which is the provincial capital, certainly provides various facilities to serve the community, especially in the field of mass transportation. Several modes of mass transportation that have developed in the city of Surabaya, one of which is a bus with routes to several small cities such as the cities of Madiun, Magetan and Ponorogo. In this study, the authors want to know the characteristics of the community in using the executive bus transportation mode which is considered to have a new fleet with the Surabaya-Madiun toll road. In this study using a questionnaire instrument method with Solvin, Issac micael and Morgan sampling techniques, then analyzed the data using a quantitative descriptive model. From the results of the study, it is known that the characteristics of executive bus users through the Surabaya-Madiun toll road are mostly male, aged 21-30 years, with a high school education background.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether internship experience, personality, and job market affect accounting students' career choices as auditors. The research applies quantitative approach, involving data collected through questionnaires. The population includes undergraduate students in Accounting of Universitas Brawijaya, class of 2020, from which the samples amount used of 80 students are selected through purposive sampling utilizing five-point Likert scale. The data are analyzed by multiple linear regression and processed by SPSS software. The research results exhibit that internship experience have a positive effect on accounting students' career choices as auditors, personality have a positive effect on accounting students' career choices as auditors, and job market have a positive effect on accounting students' career choices as auditors. The implications of this research are useful as a reference tool for further research which also examines determining the influence of career auditor selection, a means of understanding public accounting firms to determine the factors driving auditor performance by knowing the basis for selecting auditors, and assisting public accounting firms in creating auditor performance policies at work.
