Abstract

Employee performance is a key factor in supporting service quality within the hospitality industry. Various customer complaints indicate a decline in the quality of services provided. This study aims to analyze employee performance as influenced by knowledge sharing, organizational culture, and workload. The research employs a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling method. The sample consists of 30 employees from one of the hotels in Sidoarjo. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The results show that all three independent variables significantly affect employee performance. Knowledge sharing and organizational culture have a positive influence on performance, where higher levels of knowledge exchange and stronger organizational culture lead to better employee outcomes. Conversely, workload has a negative effect on performance, as employees who experience higher workloads tend to demonstrate lower performance levels. These findings emphasize the importance of effective human resource management through enhanced knowledge sharing, strengthened organizational culture, and balanced workload distribution.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of burnout and turnover intention on employee performance in banks. Declining performance and high work pressure in the micro banking sector are important reasons for conducting this study. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving 42 respondents from the credit, marketing, and teller divisions. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires using a 1–5 point Likert scale, which were then analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method through the SmartPLS 4 application. The results show that both burnout and turnover intention negatively affect employee performance. This means that as employees experience higher levels of emotional exhaustion and a stronger intention to leave their job, their performance declines. The study highlights the importance of addressing these psychological factors to enhance employee performance. The findings imply that company management should focus on improving the psychological well-being of employees to ensure the stability of organizational performance, reduce turnover, and maintain a productive workforce.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This community engagement initiative aims to empower women entrepreneurs in Jabung Village, Panekan Subdistrict, Magetan Regency, East Java, through the implementation of product innovation and the utilization of digital technology to strengthen the local economy. The primary challenges faced by the target group include limited knowledge of digital marketing, poor packaging quality, and restricted market reach. The program was executed through a series of activities comprising training sessions, technology transfer, demonstrations, and intensive mentoring, involving 15 women entrepreneurs as core partners. A participatory approach based on Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) was employed, enabling active involvement of participants in every stage of the program. The outcomes indicate a significant improvement in the participants' ability to manage digital business accounts on platforms such as Tokopedia, Instagram Business, Facebook Business, and TikTok Business, with an average understanding increase of 73%, as measured by pre- and post-test evaluations. Furthermore, 85% of participants successfully created and managed online business accounts, 75% consistently uploaded product content with enhanced appeal, and 80% actively utilized social media for promotional purposes. Innovation was also evident in packaging design, with 85% of participants developing brand-identified labels, thereby enhancing consumer perception and market appeal. The tangible impacts of the program include an average sales increase of 25%, expansion of market reach beyond the village, and a rise in women's contribution to household income from 10–15% to 25–30%. These findings underscore that MSME digitalization through training, technology transfer, and branding enhancement can significantly improve women's economic independence while sustainably strengthening the local economy. Abstract

The development of digital marketing is encouraging service companies, including the hospitality sector, to develop digital reseller-based marketing models. RedDoorz implemented a coaching program through the RedSeller app as part of its training program for new resellers. This community service program aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the RedSeller coaching program in improving new resellers' understanding of app usage and digital marketing readiness. The method used was descriptive qualitative through participatory observation, pre- and post-tests in the form of open-ended questions, and documentation of coaching activities and follow-up mentoring. The program was conducted online via Google Meet and supported by mentoring through a WhatsApp group. The results showed an increase in RedSellers' understanding of RedSeller app features and digital promotion strategies after participating in the coaching. However, a single coaching session is not entirely sufficient, requiring ongoing mentoring. Therefore, it is recommended to strengthen coaching materials, provide video tutorials, promotional content templates, and provide regular thematic webinars.
