Abstract

MSME activities generally have a positive impact on regional progress but also have a negative impact which creates conflict between the community and MSME owners. The resulting negative impacts result in environmental damage in the form of water pollution, air pollution, and so on which are detrimental to society. Tofu Entrepreneur MSMEs in Mabar Village, Medan Deli District, Medan City are MSMEs that have high productivity every day. This has a close relationship to the environmental and economic impacts of the surrounding community. The aim of this research is in accordance with the problem formulation that has been prepared, namely to determine the application of Green Business in the development of MSMEs. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data sources obtained by researchers consist of 2 types, namely primary data in the form of interviews and secondary data in the form of literature or scientific articles and various related books. The data collection techniques and instruments used in this research are observation and interviews. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results, it shows that the implementation of Green Business in tofu MSMEs in Mabar Village still does not fulfill the implementation of the 8 principles of implementing Green Business. The management of tofu production waste in this area is still lacking and not optimal because MSMEs know how to dispose of liquid waste by simply flowing it, causing an unpleasant odor. Judging from Islamic business ethics in implementing Green Business in MSMEs, it is known that in Mabar Village they have not fully implemented Islamic business ethics. The failure to implement Islamic business ethics by MSME players shows that the business practices carried out are not in accordance with Islamic law.

Abstract

The number of true partner hospitals in North Sumatra Province has increased since 2012 by 288 units to 310 units in 2023. The increasing number of true partner hospital units does not necessarily mean that true partner hospital services are adequate. This research aims to measure the factors that influence consumer satisfaction and to provide technical responses sourced from the Voice of Customer. This research uses a quantitative analysis method that combines the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method to determine service quality factors that influence consumer satisfaction and the Quality Function Deployment method is used to provide a technical response. This methodology uses a quantitative approach using the IPA method to show factors that are among the main priorities, namely services related to providing appropriate diagnoses by doctors at true partner hospitals, services related to responses by true partner hospitals to complaints from patients, and service attributes related to the suitability of drugs given by doctors at true partner hospitals. Increasing responses to patient complaints is a top priority that must be carried out by true partner hospitals to increase patient satisfaction. The technical response with the highest priority order is that medical personnel must provide clear answers regarding the treatment the patient is undergoing, and doctors at true partner hospitals must be more careful in administering medication that is appropriate to the patient’s illness.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the halal industry as a solution to increase economic growth in West Nusa Tenggara. The research approach uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview methods. The findings in this research are that economic growth in a province can be increased, one of which is through optimizing the halal industry. By optimizing sharia-based industry, it will become an attractive brand for investors, tourists and creative economy players to improve the economy in NTB. This labeling of the halal industry must of course be supported by binding and sustainable provincial government regulations. So the existence of a halal park industry roadmap designed by the provincial government really helps accelerate the halal industry so that economic growth in NTB can grow and be strong. The halal industry not only pays attention to halal tourism, halal food, halal cosmetics and medicines but also pays attention to the facilities and infrastructure of the sharia financial industry, where the growth of sharia industrial assets in NTB is currently still relatively slow. The role of the OJK as well as financial and non-bank institutions is very much needed so that this halal industry can develop well.
