Abstract

Before menopause, a woman will experience premenopause, which is the beginning of biological, physiological changes and other clinical symptoms as the beginning of menopause and includes one year or the first twelve months after menopause. Physical changes due to decreased estrogen and progesterone production cause various symptoms, both related to reproductive organs and other body organs. Changes that occur during menopause also affect a woman's psychological state. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and anxiety in women approaching menopause at Posyandu Melati II, Jatibening Village. This study was quantitative with a cross-sectional design that aimed to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and anxiety in premenopausal women. The sample in this study were women aged over 40 years and had not yet experienced menopause at Posyandu Melati II, Jatibening Village in 2018, Bekasi, obtained through total sampling. Of the 40 respondents, it was found that respondents with low knowledge experienced the most anxiety, as many as 13 people (46.4%). Respondents with high knowledge did not experience anxiety, as many as 1 person (8.3%). The data obtained indicates a relationship between knowledge and anxiety. Women at the Melati II Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) in Jatibening Village who are in premenopause need to gain more information about the signs and symptoms of menopause from reliable sources to help them navigate menopause effectively and without anxiety.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of differentiated learning in enhancing curriculum innovation within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMAN 1 Batang Gansal, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using purposive sampling techniques, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The findings reveal that teachers’ understanding as designers, facilitators, and motivators is developed through self-directed learning and professional development programs facilitated by the school, although variations exist due to differences in training and competencies. The implementation of differentiated learning aligns with Tomlinson’s theory, encompassing diagnostic assessment, curriculum analysis, and implementation in aspects of content, process, product, and learning environment. This strategy plays a vital role in fostering curriculum innovation, enhancing teachers’ creativity through project-based learning and the use of interactive digital media, and positively influencing students’ motivation and engagement. Challenges in implementation occur at three levels: (1) managerial high administrative workload and limited facilities; (2) teacher lack of understanding, time constraints, and inadequate resources; and (3) student heavy learning load and low motivation. The proposed solutions include continuous teacher training, development of practical learning modules, utilization of technology through a Learning Management System (LMS), and infrastructure support funded by the School Operational Assistance Program (BOSP).

Abstract

Abundant coconut-husk waste in Nagari Lurah, Tujuah Koto Sub-district, Padang Pariaman Regency, remains under-utilised and contributes to environmental pollution. This community-engagement programme (PKM) aimed to increase the added value of coconut husks by converting them into cocopeat growing media. The implementation consisted of (1) training in husk sorting and shredding; (2) soaking, washing, drying, and sieving fibres to produce cocopeat powder; (3) assistance with physico-chemical feasibility testing; and (4) guidance on packaging and farmer-group-based marketing. The activity enabled residents to produce cocopeat with < 15 % moisture content and pH 5.6–6.2, meeting horticultural media standards. A trial run processing 50 kg of husks yielded approximately 25 kg of market-ready cocopeat, with a potential additional income of IDR 1,250,000 per production cycle. The project reduced organic waste accumulation, enhanced local technical skills, and fostered a new coconut-husk-based micro-enterprise. Produksi percobaan 50 kg sabut menghasilkan ± 25 kg cocopeat siap jual, berpotensi menambah pendapatan Rp1 250 000 per siklus produksi. Dampak kegiatan terlihat pada berkurangnya timbunan limbah organik, peningkatan keterampilan teknis masyarakat, dan lahirnya unit usaha baru berbasis sabut kelapa.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the application of risk management in customer business financing provided by BMT al-Furqan. The problem in this research is that risk management has not been implemented well because there is no special team or division to manage the possible risks. This research uses risk management theory. The data collection method was conducted through interviews and a report document, and the data analysis used a qualitative risk assessment. The thing that distinguishes this research from previous research is the risk indicator. This research adds a risk indicator for customer error in carrying out the contract agreement. The study results show five risk indicators in the acceptable category, eight in the undesirable category, and one in the unacceptable category. The suggestion for BMT Al-Furqan, it is necessary to create standardization and special methods for analyzing customers, also use the 5C analysis method. BMT Al-Furqan needs to provide sheets for monitoring and evaluation so that customers can be controlled. BMT also needs to provide a special team to manage risk management. If a problem occurs, it can be detected early.

Abstract

This qualitative research presents reflections on conflict and the results of peace in an Aceh region that is included in the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia The decades-old conflict is an ideological dispute fought by the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) to grow its own autonomous and free state from the Indonesian government. Several parties were initially pessimistic about realizing peace but strengthened again after the 2004 earthquake and tsunami. The Helsinki MoU was not just the result of a long war but due of natural disasters causing the international world to put pressure on the parties so that they finally agreed to make peace. The Government of Indonesia provides a special autonomy legal instrument that is strengthened in the Aceh government law (UUPA) to keep Aceh firmly in a unitary state. The impact of the Helsinki MoU has not been fully on the side of justice in terms of the development of people's welfare. The reality is that political reintegration through local political parties has been able to change the paradigm of GAM fighters to the path of democracy but the local government that exists has not been able to change the situation and change significantly. First, it is believed that the result has not been fully implemented by the UUPA because it is not following the clauses in the Helsinki MoU. Second, some regulations that should be completed by the Indonesian government as a commitment to carrying out peace have not been implemented. This situation could ultimately result in the delegitimization of sustainable peace. This anxiety should be observed so that Aceh as a citizen of the world community can grow and develop well in the future.

Abstract

This research employs a bibliometric approach to analyze research trends in quality and character education, utilizing data from 161 articles sourced from the SCOPUS database. The analysis reveals central themes, such as character education, ethical development, and curriculum integration, highlighting significant contributions from prominent authors and global collaborations. Despite extensive research, gaps were identified in practical implementation strategies and the exploration of character education's role in addressing societal issues like corruption. The findings underscore the need for future research to develop effective, culturally responsive strategies and to explore digital and interdisciplinary approaches. By addressing these gaps, this study aims to enhance the understanding and integration of quality and character education, contributing to improved educational outcomes and holistic student development.
