Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever, also known as dengue fever, is transmitted by female Aedes aegypti mosquitoes with the main target being the human circulatory system, characterized by quite serious fever symptoms. Dengue fever must be treated seriously and become a regional priority program considering the number of cases tends to increase yearly, one of which is Karimun Regency. As of August 2022, dengue fever cases in Karimun reached 628, the highest number of cases in the last four years. So this has become one of the focuses of attention of Community Service Students, Karimun University. The stages in the implementation of this activity are divided into four stages: Submitting a Program; Program Exposure; Data Collection on DHF Cases; Socialization. This socialization activity was carried out on July 17, 2022, in Pongkar Village, Karimun, by Team 1 with Lavender and Anyelir Integrated Services Post. What was conveyed in the socialization was a general introduction to Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF), the causes of DHF and how to prevent it. This program requires community participation to maintain the environment of their homes and surrounding settlements. From the implementation of this community service, an output is produced, namely the dissemination of general knowledge about Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) Prevention and Mosquito Nest Eradication in Pongkar Village so that it can help minimize dengue cases in Pongkar Village in particular and Karimun Regency in general.

Abstract

Hypercholesterolemia is a disorder of cholesterol metabolism caused by cholesterol levels in the blood that exceed normal limits. Hypercholesterolemia can be caused by an unbalanced lifestyle and diet. From high cholesterol levels, therapy is needed, one of which is soursop leaf decoction therapy. Purpose: this study was to determine the therapy of soursop leaf decoction in hypercholesterolemia sufferers in the Kp.Tipar Karangtengah area, Cianjur in 2022. Methods: This type of research is quantitative with a quasy experimental approach, non-equivalent pretest-posttest with control group design. The sampling technique used is non-random sampling. The instruments used are tools and materials. Statistical test using the Wilcoxon test.Results: The study showed a p-value of 0.000 <0.005, which means that there is an effect of soursop leaf decoction therapy on hypercholesterolemic sufferers in the Kp.Tipar Karangtengah area, Cianjur in 2022. Suggestion: Based on the results of the study, it is hoped that for the Kp Tipar Region, Hegarmanah Village can provide advice to hypercholesterolemia sufferers to consume soursop leaf decoction as an alternative to drugs to lower cholesterol levels.

Abstract

Dengan memasukkan budaya, nilai-nilai kearifan lokal, dan pengetahuan yang ada di lingkungan sekitar siswa, Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan Pendekatan Etnosains membantu siswa untuk berpikir tentang prosedur pemecahan masalah yang sesuai dengan tantangan kehidupan nyata. siswa. Mengenai bagaimana belajar biologi memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritisnya. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada kajian literatur yang dilakukan untuk menilai bagaimana pemikiran kritis siswa dipengaruhi oleh paradigma Problem Based Learning dengan menggunakan metode etnosains. Untuk kajian pustaka ini, dipilih 20 artikel—10 dalam bahasa Indonesia dan 10 dalam bahasa Inggris. Kesimpulan yang dapat ditarik dari penelitian tinjauan pustaka adalah bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan pendekatan etnosains dapat memberikan pengaruh yang baik terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan berhasil dilaksanakan. Hal ini berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan dari 20 artikel yang telah dilakukan.

Abstract

Juvenile delinquency has now occurred in almost all corners of the country, especially in children who are still in school, as happened at SMA Negeri Plus Sukowono, juvenile delinquency that occurs is smoking and skipping classes in class. The factors that cause the emergence of juvenile delinquency are one of them rather than parental parenting. Parenting styles that cannot adjust to the needs of children then affect the development of socialization in their environment. Parenting consists of authoritarian parenting, democratic parenting, and permissive parenting. The parenting style that causes the delinquency at SMA Negeri Plus Sukowono is a permissive and authoritarian parenting style. The purpose of this study is to find out how the parenting style of adolescent delinquency at SMA Negeri Plus Sukowono is. The research method carried out in this study is to use a quantitative descriptive approach of respondents consisting of 34 adolescents in class X with sampling techniques by means of simple random sampling, and collection using questionnaires. The formulation of the problem that will be taken in this study is the influence of parental parenting on juvenile delinquency?, how does parental parenting affect juvenile delinquency?, and what are the factors that affect adolescent delinquency?.

Abstract

Stunting or failure to thrive causes difficulties for toddlers in achieving optimal physical and cognitive development. Kesesi District is in first place and the Kesesi II Health Center as of February 2023 still has a high stunting rate, namely 165 cases. This study aimed to analyze host factors as risk factors for stunting in toddlers in the working area of the Kesesi II Health Center. This research is an analytical research with a quantitative approach and a case control research design. From the Chi-square test, the results of the maternal pregnancy history were obtained (p-value = 0.000, OR = 6.089, 95% CI = 2.146 - 17.276) history of infectious diseases in toddlers (p-value = 0.000, OR = 8.516, CI 2.953 - 24.561), history of exclusive breastfeeding (p-value = 0.021, OR = 3.478, 95% CI = 1.172 - 10.323), history of LBW (p-value = 0.000, OR = 10.500, 95% CI 3.628 - 30.392), family economic status ( p-value = 0.287, OR = 2.188, 95% CI = 0.505 - 9.480). This study shows that the mother's history of pregnancy, history of infectious diseases, history of exclusive breastfeeding, and history of LBW are host factors that are at risk for the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the Kesesi II Health Center working area in 2023.

Abstract

Halal certification has become an important aspect of the pharmaceutical industry in Indonesia, a country with a majority Muslim population. This study aims to explore how halal certification affects consumer trust and loyalty towards pharmaceutical products in Indonesia. Through a comprehensive analysis, it is found that halal certification issued by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) through the Halal Product Guarantee Organisation (BPJPH) has increased the trust and loyalty of Muslim consumers. Halal certification provides a guarantee of product safety and hygiene, thereby increasing consumer satisfaction and loyalty. A comparison with halal certification practices in other countries, such as Malaysia and Saudi Arabia, also provides insight into the differences and similarities in the regulatory framework and certification process. Recommendations include improving the halal certification process, increasing awareness and education, harmonising halal certification standards, and utilising technology and digitalisation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of host interaction and flash sale discounts on consumer interest in live shopping on Shopee among the community in Surabaya City. The research employs a quantitative approach using a structured questionnaire as the primary data collection method. A total of 96 respondents, all of whom actively engage in online shopping via Shopee, were selected as the study sample. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS, applying both t-tests and F-tests to evaluate the hypotheses. The t-test results reveal that host interaction significantly affects consumer interest, with a t-count value of 5.252 exceeding the t-table value of 1.986, and a significance level of 0.000, which is below the 0.05 threshold. Similarly, flash sale discounts also demonstrate a significant effect on consumer interest, with a t-count value of 3.217 surpassing the t-table value of 1.986, and a significance level of 0.002, indicating statistical significance. Furthermore, the F-test results indicate that host interaction and flash sale discounts have a simultaneous and significant influence on consumer interest, as evidenced by an F-count value of 26.37 exceeding the F-table value of 3.9434, with a significance level of 0.000. These findings suggest that both host interaction and flash sale discounts play a crucial role in shaping consumer purchasing interest during live shopping events. The results highlight the importance for resellers and online sellers to enhance host engagement skills and strategically implement time-limited discount offers to attract and retain consumers. In the increasingly competitive e-commerce environment, optimizing these two factors may significantly contribute to improving customer engagement and driving sales performance. This research provides practical insights for online retailers seeking to strengthen their marketing strategies on live shopping platforms

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara penggunaan media sosial dengan prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa Tadris Matematika semester lima Universitas Islam Negeri Syekh Wasil Kediri. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada tingginya intensitas penggunaan media sosial di kalangan mahasiswa yang berpotensi memengaruhi perilaku belajar, khususnya kecenderungan menunda penyelesaian tugas akademik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa Tadris Matematika semester lima, dengan sampel sebanyak 30 mahasiswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling jenis purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner penggunaan media sosial dan prokrastinasi akademik yang disusun dalam bentuk skala Likert dan disebarkan secara daring melalui Google Form. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara penggunaan media sosial dengan prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa. Hubungan yang diperoleh berada pada kategori sedang, yang menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi intensitas penggunaan media sosial, maka semakin tinggi kecenderungan mahasiswa melakukan prokrastinasi akademik. Temuan ini mengindikasikan pentingnya pengendalian penggunaan media sosial serta penguatan manajemen waktu dan pengaturan diri mahasiswa agar perilaku prokrastinasi akademik dapat diminimalkan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze "Social Interaction of Pamulang University Students in Maintaining Tolerance Between Religious Communities". This study aims to social interaction of Pamulang University students in efforts to tolerance between religious communities. Social interaction is an important process in building reciprocal relationships, mutual understanding, and respect for differences. A qualitative approach with descriptive methods was used, through observation, interviews, and documentation studies of students between religious communities on campus. The results of the study indicate that student social interaction is reflected through ethical communication, interfaith relations, and academic and organizational activities involving various religious backgrounds. Supporting factors for tolerance include individual awareness, shared values, campus support, and inclusive academic experiences, while inhibiting factors are limited opportunities for interaction, differences in religious practices, and the lack of supporting facilities for interfaith activities. In conclusion, student social interaction plays an important role in building and maintaining tolerance, while requiring ongoing support from the academic environment to create a harmonious campus life.

Abstract

Anxiety is to gridlock that was not clear and spread, which relate to feeling not certain and not helpless. Many women’s health is worried about her beby, feeling uneasy and guilty that she feels after giving birth to her first child because her own more attention to her beby. To take care of beby was not a difficult but often mother Primipara have concern in fostering baby. According to data collection that will be done at the end of 2012 in the community health center sukorejo Bangsalsari obtained 840 mother giving birth, consisting of 420 mother multipara and mother primipara. In The month of October survey in 2013 mother were obtained from 18 primipara that gave birt to take care of her beby, in both bathe, treat umbilical cord and giving water mother’s milk less true. The aim of the research is to know the picture high anxiety mothers primipara in the care newly born baby in the community Health Center Sukorejo sub-district Bangsalsari Jember Regency. This research is Descritive. The population in this research is mother primipara 1-7 days post in october the mothers 18 primipara. Loding technique a sample total product sampling as many as 18 mother her purifying primipara. Data collection using quistionnaries. Results of research most respondents age of 20-25 of 45 percent, from the factors education most respondents educated junior high school that is 56 percent, and a half- rsondens who does not work ( IRT 50 percent. Most mother 78 percent primipara, anxiety at the time to treat newborn baby. Therefore expected to health workers particularly midwives to improve service obstetric patients at the time that pregnant mother in the gave birth periodid not experience anxiety in fostering newly born baby.
