Abstract

Coal loading and unloading workers at Meulaboh Seaport are at high risk of accidents and health problems due to dust exposure, heavy workloads, and unsafe working conditions. Although the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) management program has been implemented, its execution remains low. Many workers are not disciplined in using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), OSH training is not optimal, and supervision is still weak. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with the implementation of OSH management programs among loading and unloading workers at Meulaboh Seaport. The study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design and involved 32 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate techniques. The results showed a significant relationship between work discipline (p = 0.005), training (p = 0.010), supervision (p = 0.022), and OSH evaluation (p = 0.010) with the implementation of the OSH management program. It is recommended that the management of Meulaboh Seaport, as the company’s policy maker, continuously improve the existing OSH management system to ultimately enhance worker performance, which will bring both financial and non-financial benefits to the seaport. For workers, it is advised to prioritize occupational safety and health by complying with the established OSH management system.

Abstract

Masalah gizi ganda (malnutrition double burden) masih menjadi perhatian serius di Indonesia, termasuk di kalangan remaja sekolah. Rendahnya pengetahuan tentang gizi seimbang berkontribusi terhadap kebiasaan makan tidak sehat yang berdampak pada status gizi dan prestasi belajar. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa SMP Negeri 3 Meulaboh tentang gizi seimbang melalui edukasi "Isi Piringku". Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi menggunakan media PowerPoint, praktik pembuatan sandwich sayur, serta evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan post-test pada 15 siswa kelas 7. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan yang signifikan dari rata-rata 73,33 (pre-test) menjadi 84 (post-test), dengan peningkatan sebesar 11,33 poin atau 15,5%. Uji Paired Sample T-Test menghasilkan nilai p = 0,000 (p < 0,05), menunjukkan perbedaan bermakna antara pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Program ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan literasi gizi siswa. Diperlukan keberlanjutan program edukasi gizi di sekolah dengan melibatkan berbagai pihak untuk dampak jangka panjang terhadap perilaku makan sehat remaja.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of KUR financing on MSME development in Makale District. The assessment of KUR financing in this study is using 4 aspects, namely the accuracy of the use of funds, the amount of credit, the credit burden, and the procedure. The type of research used is a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population of this study were MSME actors who received KUR financing from Bank Sulselbar Makale Branch in Makale District totaling 159 people. Sampling was carried out using probability sampling technique using the slovin formula with an error rate of 1%, so that a sample of 61 respondents was obtained. The data collection technique was carried out through a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used simple linear regression analysis using the t test and using the SPSS version 23 application tool. The results of this study indicate that KUR financing has a positive and significant effect on the development of MSMEs. Keywords : KUR Financing; MSME Development; Bank Sulselbar Makale Branch

Abstract

The digital era demands innovative human resource management strategies and supportive organizational cultures to enhance public sector efficiency, yet their integration remains underexplored in local government contexts. this study aims to examine how strategic human resource management and organizational culture drive digital human resource management transformation in North Toraja Regency, focusing on developing an integrative model to improve bureaucratic responsiveness. A quantitative approach with a causal-associative design was employed, involving 359 civil servants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares. The findings confirm that strategic human resource management positively influences digital human resource management transformation by enhancing workforce digital capabilities. Organizational culture also significantly contributes by fostering adaptability and openness to technological change. Additionally, strategic human resource management shapes a collaborative and innovative culture, strengthening transformation efforts. These results highlight the synergy of strategic human resource management and organizational culture in advancing digital transformation in North Toraja’s local government. The study concludes that aligning human resource strategies with cultural reforms is essential for effective digital transformation, offering practical insights for local governments to enhance digital competencies and bureaucratic efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of Kahoot!-based learning media to increase students' learning interest and activeness in the learning process in class X of SMA Negeri 1 Samaturu. This research used a quantitative approach. The research subjects were students of class X at SMA Negeri 1 Samaturu. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to students after the implementation of learning using Kahoot! media. The questionnaire used a Likert scale consisting of several response options. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive percentage analysis to determine students’ responses to the use of Kahoot! in learning activities. The results showed that the average percentage of student responses to the use of Kahoot! learning media was 85% with a very good category. The results also indicated that the aspects of students’ learning interest obtained a percentage of 85%, student activeness in learning 83%, students’ interest in Kahoot! media 87%, and ease of understanding the material 84%. These results indicate that the use of Kahoot! as a learning media can increase students’ learning interest, activeness, and understanding of the material. Therefore, Kahoot! can be used as an innovative and interactive learning media to support a more effective and engaging learning process.
