Abstract

Karang Taruna Karya Manggala Sendangsari Pengasih Kulonprogo saat ini tidak memiliki kegiatan ekonomi produktif. Padahal ada beberapa potensi yang bisa dimanfaatkan di sektor pariwisata, seperti produk lokal dan destinasi desa wisata. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pemuda sebagai pengelola desa wisata. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa pendampingan dan pelatihan kewirausahaan serta digital marketing untuk pengembangan desa wisata dengan pemaparan materi kewirausahaan oleh dosen pelaksana dan pelatihan digital marketing oleh praktisi dengan menggunakan 4 tahapan yaitu: (1) Analisis potensi/produk wisata yang diolah secara ekonomi produktif, (2) Pembuatan desain video, (3) Proses editing video, dan (4) Pengunggahan video produk di media sosial YouTube. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan secara tatap muka dan diikuti oleh 23 orang peserta pemuda dari karang taruna Karya Manggala Desa Sendangsari, dengan memberikan materi tentang kewirausahaan dan pembuatan video yang bertujuan untuk mendukung upaya peningkatan jiwa kewirausahaan dan keterampilan pemasaran digital. Hal ini berperan penting dalam mempromosikan potensi pariwisata. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berjalan lancar dengan semakin meningkatnya minat generasi muda untuk berwirausaha dan mampu membuat video promosi.

Abstract

Poor public transportation management makes motorcycles as the most practical and economical choice of transportation for both individuals and families. However, the ease of obtaining a motorbike is not accompanied by awareness of driving well and safely by the rider. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide safety riding training for vocational school students who are over 17 years old, so they will have more comprehensive riding skills. The activity methods were organized through training, simulations, and practice of safe driving techniques. The training was hold on 11 and 18 May 2024 at the Honda Astra Motor training center, Sudirman street, Yogyakarta. It was attended by 26 students of SMKN 3 Yogyakarta. During the training, participants receive material about safety riding, simulate driving a vehicle using a riding simulator, and riding a motorbike on the safety riding circuit at the training location. The results of the training also showed that participants had increased understanding of safety riding, especially knowledge of speed limits for riding motorbikes in urban areas and the most effective and safe braking techniques to reduce motorbike speed

Abstract

The primary objective of this study is to develop tutorial videos addressing periodic maintenance procedures for light vehicle chassis at intervals of 5000, 10,000, 20,000, and 40,000 kilometers, while also assessing their suitability for educational purposes. The Research and Development (R&D) methodology, utilizing the ADDIE model, was employed for this purpose. The R&D process encompasses analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The study was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Seyegan, where content and media experts served as respondents to evaluate the appropriateness of the tutorial videos. Additionally, 96 students from Class XI of the Automotive Light Vehicle Engineering department participated in trial sessions to assess the videos' usefulness. Data were gathered through interviews and questionnaires, followed by thorough analysis to elucidate the study's findings. The results revealed that the tutorial videos received very high ratings from content experts (96.5%) and favorable ratings from media experts (79.8%). Moreover, students, as potential users, gave the videos a high score of 80.43%. These findings indicate that the tutorial videos are well-suited for implementation in practical classroom activities.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital menuntut kebutuhan akan penguasaan kompetensi digital skill. UNY sebagai instansi pendidikan yang mencetak calon guru, Kurikulum UNY dituntut untuk senantiasa menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja. Mata kuliah Transformasi Digital saat ini menjadi mata kuliah umum sehingga wajib lulus untuk seluruh mahasiswa. Terkhusus pada kurikulum Departemen Pendidikan Teknik Otomotif, Transformasi digital dipandang yang paling sesuai. Transformasi digital dipandang paling sesuai dalam mengemban amanah untuk memastikan para lulusan capable dalam penguasaan technical digital skill terkhusus sebagai bekal profesionalitas guru. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk memandu mahasiswa dalam penguasaan technical digital skill keguruan kejuruan bidang otomotif ini. Metode kajian adalah RnD yang digunakan dalam dengan lima tahapan yakni: (1) pra lapangan (studi literatur) dan need asessment pada dunia kerja; (2) Pengembangan prototipe produk; (3) Validasi; (4) Uji Coba; dan (5) Diseminasi. Hasil dari validasi ahli, modul dinilai layak. Respon positif dari mahasiswa saat ujicoba, serta efektif meningkatkan technical digital skill mahasiswa. Lebih lanjut merujuk pada pembiasaan mahasiswa untuk memanfaatkan kemampuan yang diperoleh.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the design and functionality of the front suspension arm in an electric vehicle specifically designed for users with disabilities. The research focuses on the lower arm component, analyzing its structural integrity through finite element analysis using ANSYS Student Version. The simulation was conducted under two loading conditions: 1300 N and 4800 N, representing different stress scenarios based on the vehicle's weight distribution. The safety factor analysis indicates that under a 1300 N load, the lower arm achieves a safety factor of 9.37, demonstrating high structural strength. Under an increased 4800 N load, the safety factor decreases to 2.54, which remains within the acceptable range (2.5–4.0) for static components subjected to dynamic loads. In terms of stress distribution, the simulation results indicate that the maximum stress is 39.51 MPa at a load of 1300 N. In contrast, it reaches 145.9 MPa at 4800 N. The displacement analysis reveals that the maximum deformation under 1300 N is 0.03023 mm, increasing to 0.1116 mm under 4800 N, indicating minimal structural deformation. Based on these findings, the lower arm suspension is deemed structurally safe and capable of withstanding the expected operational loads. These results offer valuable insights for the development of adaptive electric vehicles, ensuring their reliability and safety for users with disabilities.

Abstract

The Jakarta 2 Annex Data Center construction project is one of the strategic initiatives in supporting the development of information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure in Indonesia. This project involves a high level of complexity, both technically and non-technically, including limited workspace, strict data center quality standards, and a tight completion schedule. This study aims to analyze the performance of construction management in the Jakarta 2 Annex Data Center project, a large-scale digital infrastructure project that plays a vital role in supporting information technology services in Indonesia. The research method used is a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires and interviews with project stakeholders. A total of 40 respondents, consisting of experts and project management team members, participated in the questionnaire. The analysis results indicate that the implementation of construction management functions planning, organizing, execution, and controlling has been carried out fairly well. However, several key challenges still affect performance, especially in terms of coordination and time control. This study provides strategic recommendations to improve the effectiveness of construction management through strengthening communication between teams, regular evaluations of project progress, and the implementation of more adaptive quality and time control systems.

Abstract

Taiwan merupakan salah satu negara yang memiliki sistem Pendidikan tinggi terbaik dan menjadi alasan bagi sekitar 5.600 mahasiswa Indonesia untuk menempuh S2 dan S3 di negara tersebut. Salah satu persyaratan kelulusan program pascasarjana di universitas khususnya Taiwan adalah publikasi pada jurnal internasional bereputasi (Terindex SCI/SSCI) yang sering menjadi kendala bagi mahasiswa pascasarjana untuk menyelesaikan studinya tepat waktu. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melakukan manuscript coaching clinic bagi mahasiswa pascasarjana di Taiwan sehingga manuskrip dapat terbit di jurnal internasional bereputasi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 25-26 Agustus 2023 di Sekretariat Forum Mahasiswa Muslim Indonesia di Taiwan (FORMMIT) National Central University, Taiwan.  Hasil kegiatan yaitu dapat peserta menghasilkan draft manuscript dan manuscript yang akan disubmit di jurnal Internasional, dokumen kerjasama antara Fakultas Teknik serta Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis dengan FORMMIT, terlaksananya sosialisasi studi lanjut S2 dan S3 ke Taiwan bagi mahasiswa UNY.   Coaching clinic for manuscript writing strategy for Indonesian post-graduate students in Taiwan   Abstract: Taiwan is one of the countries that has the best higher education system and is the reason for around 5,600 Indonesian students to take Masters and Doctoral degrees in Taiwan. One of the requirements for graduating from postgraduate programs at universities in Taiwan is publication in reputable international journals (SCI/SSCI Indexed), which often becomes an obstacle for postgraduate students to complete their studies on time. Therefore, this community service activity aims to conduct a manuscript coaching clinic for postgraduate students in Taiwan so that the manuscript can be published in a reputable international journal. The activity was held on 25-26 August 2023 at the Secretariat of the Indonesian Muslim Student Forum in Taiwan (FORMMIT) at National Central University, Taiwan.  Output of the community services are participants’ manuscripts which will be submitted in international journals, cooperation documents between the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Economics and Business with FORMMIT, and implementation of socialization for further Masters and Doctoral studies to Taiwan for UNY students.

Abstract

Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Otomotif (PTO FT UNY) sudah melaksanakan kegiatan penelusuran terhadap alumni akan tetapi perlu dilakukan secara rutin. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan tracer study alumni PTO FT UNY khususnya pada pembiayaan kuliah, transisi alumni, situasi alumni, relevansi alumni, metode pembelajaran, kompetensi alumni, dan kontribusi prodi terhadap kompetensi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian yaitu alumni Prodi PTO FT UNY lulusan 2017-2020 sebanyak 277 orang, sedangkan sampelnya yaitu 138 orang. Pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas alumni menggunakan biaya sendiri/keluarga (51,45%) dan beasiswa KIP/Bidikmisi (36,23%). Mayoritas alumni mencari pekerjaan sebelum lulus (48,55%), paling banyak melalui internet. Sebagian besar waktu tunggunya 6≤WT≤18 bulan setelah lulus. Jumlah lamaran tidak sebanding dengan perusahaan yang merespon dan mengundang wawancara. Sebagian besar alumni sudah bekerja (88,41%) yaitu di Sekolah Negeri/Industri. Mayoritas penghasilannya diatas UMP DIY 2022. Sebagian besar alumni bekerja sesuai dengan profil lulusan. Mayoritas alumni tingkat pendidikannya selevel dengan persyaratan minimal pendidikan pada pekerjaannya. Penekanan metode pembelajaran sudah sangat besar. Kompetensi alumni sudah sangat baik dan kontribusi prodi sudah baik, tetapi pada kemampuan bahasa inggris perlu ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Instructional media has an important function for facilitating academia to achieve the learning objectives. Therefore, this study aims to develop an instructional media of the analog and digital electronics for automotive engineering education students. This study used a research and development method which consisting of 4D steps (define, design, development, and dissemination). The instructional media feasibility assessment from the lecturers and students was obtained using a questionaire. The lectures and students, after assessing the media kits, both were suggested that it has a good lay out, appropriate with the learning outcomes, and feasible for benefitting university learners in analog and digital electronics course especially in practice courses. The implementation of this analog and digital electronic media improves the students achievement in the basic analog and digital automotive electronics courses

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah: (1) mengetahui hambatan yang dialami oleh peserta didik saat mengikuti pembelajaran online, (2) memperoleh gambaran mengenai persepsi dan motivasi belajar peserta didik saat mengikuti pembelajaran online pada Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMKN 1 Magelang, (3) mengetahui hubungan antara variabel persepsi pembelajaran online dan hambatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran online terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian asosiatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat analisis yaitu uji normalitas (Kolmogorov-Smirnov), uji liniearitas (uji F), dan uji hipotesis menggunakan rumus korelasi berganda. Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar sumbangan variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat menggunakan koefisiensi determinan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) hambatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran online termasuk dalam kategori sedang (61,33%) hambatan-hambatan tersebut berupa hambatan internal dan hambatan eksternal, (2) persepsi mayoritas peserta didik dalam kategori sedang (58,56%) dan motivasi belajar mayoritas peserta didik dalam kategori sedang (74,59%), (3) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara variabel persepsi pembelajaran online dan hambatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran online terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik (nilai r = 0,436). Sumbangan variabel persepsi pembelajaran online dan hambatan pelaksanaan pembelajaran online terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik sebesar 19%.
