Abstract

This research was conducted at Teras Jahe MSMEs. Teras Jahe MSMEs is a business entity that operates in the micro, small, and medium sectors, focusing on producing and marketing various ginger-based products. This research aims to find out and analyze problems, obstacles, and efforts to overcome obstacles in marketing strategies to build Brand Awareness in Teras Jahe MSMEs. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The problem experienced by Teras Jahe is that first, Teras Jahe is dominated by customers over 40 years old and this makes it difficult to socialize on social media, for example, information about promos, new menus, and new places, they tend to be comfortable in one place and are out of date with cyberspace. Having six branches in strategic locations and utilizing online platforms such as Gofood, Grabfood, and Shopee Food, Teras Jahe adopts an omnichannel approach to reach consumers. Through effective digital marketing on Instagram, Teras Jahe builds brand awareness with interesting and relevant content, despite facing challenges in reaching a younger demographic and competing in the online market. With flexible pricing strategies, tailored product offerings, and attractive promotions, Teras Jahe has achieved top of mind among its consumers, differentiating itself from competitors with a focus on quality and service. Continuous efforts in education, innovation, and consumer interaction demonstrate Teras Jahe's commitment to sustainable brand growth and development

Abstract

Jepara merupakan kabupaten di provinsi Jawa Tengah yang memiliki banyak potensi lokal salah satu adalah kerajinan tenun Troso. kain tenun Troso banyak dimanfaatkan dalam dunia busana, namun dalam dunia pendidikan kerajinan tenun Troso kurang menjadi perhatian dan kurang dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Hal ini menjadi latar belakang di lakukannya penelitian dengan memanfaatkan kerajinan tenun Troso sebagai ide dalam penciptaan karya gambar dekoratif dalam pendidikan seni rupa. Penelitian ini bertujuan; (1) mendeskripsikan jenis dan bentuk motif kerajinan tenun Troso yang tepat dijadikan sebagai ide penciptaan karya gambar dekoratif dalam pembelajaran seni rupa  (2) menjelaskan proses pembelajaran berkarya gambar dekoratif dengan ide motif kerajinan tenun Troso (3) menyajikan hasil karya gambar dekoratif siswa dengan ide motif kerajinan tenun Troso di SMP Negeri 2 Pecangaan. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yaitu prosedur penelitian yang memiliki data penelitian yang disajikan berupa kata-kata tertulis dari subjek penelitian dan objek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa (1) motif yang tepat dijadikan sebagai ide berkarya gambar dekoratif dalam pembelajaran seni rupa adalah motif Lubeng, motif Saraswati, motif Blanket figuratif, dan motif Hujan Gerimis (2) proses pembelajaran dimulai dengan tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa dari segi aspek sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan (3) hasil karya gambar dekoratif dengan ide motif kerajinan tenun Troso menunjukkan kemampuan siswa mencapai setiap aspek penilaian, baik dari aspek idealitas, aspek kreativitas, aspek estetika visual, dan aspek penguasaan teknik.

Abstract

This study project was motivated by the decreasing interest in reading among adolescents, especially reading books on history, the decreasing reading rate resulting in less information absorption so that they forgot the importance of studying history. Because of this problem, the writer has the idea to bring back the big story that has happened in Indonesian history with a more modern look with the title "Sultan Hasanuddin" so that it attracts readers to learn the importance of history. The purpose of this study project is to produce a comic book about the heroism of Sultan Hasanuddin as a means of conveying Indonesian history in an effort to increase youth reading interest with local stories. This study project is expected to provide insight into the picture of Indonesia in the past that the author conveyed which is packaged into a comic book of Sultan Hasanuddin, which has an interesting visualization of images for teenagers. That way Indonesian teenagers are able to absorb the essence of what the author says by not never giving up in order to achieve their goals, not easily breaking up in the face of obstacles that get in the way. It is hoped that this comic can be used as a comic book that will be published later.

Abstract

This study presents the development of a solar-assisted smart home system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) that focuses on energy efficiency and hazard prevention as a contribution to sustainable living. The proposed system integrates renewable energy utilization with intelligent monitoring to reduce energy consumption and minimize carbon footprint. A Raspberry Pi microcontroller is employed as the central platform to coordinate multiple sensors, including a DHT11 sensor for temperature and humidity measurement, a gas sensor for leak detection, a vibration sensor for earthquake monitoring, and a PZEM-004T module for real-time energy consumption tracking. The system enables remote supervision and automated responses to environmental hazards while maintaining comfort and security for occupants. Experimental results demonstrate that the prototype enhances early warning capability for potential fire incidents and natural disasters, while significantly improving energy awareness through continuous monitoring. The integration of solar energy further supports the sustainability aspect, making the system a viable smart solution for greener and safer residential environments.

Abstract

Toko amal belum lazim di Indonesia, karena itu dibutuhkan promosi yang lebih baik agar dikenal oleh masyarakat luas. Partisipasi masyarakat sangat penting bagi keberlajutan toko dan juga terlaksananya tujuan amal yang ingin dicapai. Tantangan terbesar adalah membangun kesadaran kolektif bahwa donasi dan belanja di toko amal bukan sekadar transaksi, melainkan bagian dari gerakan sosial dan keberlanjutan. Kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa Departemen Teknik Elektro Universitas Andalas bertujuan untuk revitalisasi branding dan tampilan toko amal, sebagai bentuk kegiatan promosi. Kegiatan ini telah menghasilkan desain dan realisasi plang nama toko yang dilengkapi dengan lampu (neon box). Lampu pada neon box ini, diatur waktu mati dan hidupnya secara otomatis menggunakan sensor cahaya. Selain itu telah dihasilkan media promosi berbayar melalui sosial media dan penyebaran pamflet promosi..Kegiatan telah terlaksana dengan baik dan diharapkan dapat membantu penyebarluasan keberadaan toko dan menarik partisipasi Masyarakat yang lebih luas.

Abstract

The decreasing availability of fossil fuels, coupled with escalating environmental concerns, has significantly propelled research and development efforts in renewable energy-based electric transportation systems. The emission of carbon dioxide resulting from the combustion of fossil fuels has prompted the formulation of research policies on electric vehicles (EVs) worldwide, including in Indonesia, where there is a notable increase in EV adoption and a growing demand for enhanced charging infrastructure. Utilizing solar power to charge electric vehicles can substantially decrease carbon emissions when compared to conventional charging methods that draw power from the utility grid. This research endeavors to design, develop, and implement a comprehensive grid-integrated solar-powered EV charging management system that leverages Internet of Things (IoT) technology, with a Raspberry Pi serving as the central control unit. The proposed system will incorporate a pyranometer sensor to accurately measure solar radiation levels and include a sensor to continuously monitor the battery's charging status, specifically the State of Charge (SoC). Through this integrated approach, it is anticipated that the efficiency of EV charging processes can be significantly enhanced, thereby supporting the advancement of sustainable and clean energy infrastructure. Additionally, the implementation of this system aims to contribute to reducing carbon emissions in Indonesia, aligning with national and global environmental objectives.

Abstract

This research can examine the overall interpretation of classical Islamic interpretation regarding the complex relationship between Satan and false Gods using analysis based on Qawaid Tarjih principles. Classical Islamic interpretation can be known as a deeper understanding of Islam which is used to study the complex interactions between these creatures. Through the application of Qawaid Tarjih, this researcher reveals the principles of Dasara which will guide interpretation and can provide an understanding of the criteria used by scholars to differentiate between Satan and false God. This finding not only highlights the dichotomy between truth and falsehood to show the usefulness of Qawaid Tarjih as a tool of differentiation, for this reason researchers can explore the broader impact of a holistic understanding of the Islamic community's perception of Satan and false gods which provides insight into its impact on everyday life with provides insight into the teachings of the Islamic religion

Abstract

The advancement of photovoltaic (PV) systems in tropical regions faces significant efficiency challenges due to fluctuating panel surface temperatures. This study addresses these issues by implementing machine learning (ML) models, specifically k-nearest neighbors (KNN) and extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost), to classify and monitor panel temperatures. To enhance system resilience, an internet of things (IoT) based on-grid protection system was developed, featuring a dual-relay redundancy mechanism that triggers an automated trip when the current exceeds 1.30 A. This integration ensures the protection of both the PV infrastructure and household electrical loads. Experimental results demonstrate that the KNN model exhibits superior reliability with a testing accuracy of 93% and a baseline performance of 96.67%, successfully identifying both normal (25 °C to 35 °C) and high-temperature (36 °C to 48 °C) states. In contrast, while the XGBoost model reached a maximum validation accuracy of 94.44% during training, it only achieved a testing accuracy of 84% and showed significant limitations in detecting normal temperature patterns. Beyond classification, the IoT framework proved highly precise in real-time energy monitoring, with sensor error rates below 2%. This research offers a strategic solution for optimizing energy conversion and system reliability, providing a robust framework for sustainable clean energy management in tropical climates.

Abstract

The development of grid-tied photovoltaic (PV) systems in tropical regions remains a strategic focus for achieving sustainable clean energy. However, energy conversion efficiency is often hampered by fluctuations in panel surface temperature and electrical faults. To ensure long-term system reliability, this study implements a multi-level redundancy architecture integrated with dynamic internet of things (IoT) monitoring for fault mitigation in grid-tied PV systems. The system employs a machine learning (ML) method using the k-nearest neighbors (KNN) algorithm for thermal classification, achieving an accuracy of 84% in identifying normal (25 °C to 35 °C) and overheating conditions. Furthermore, an electrical redundancy layer is designed with an automatic tripping mechanism that activates when the current exceeds a 1.30 A threshold, demonstrating a rapid response latency of 150 ms. To ensure monitoring resilience, the system is supported by a dedicated 18650 Li-ion battery backup. The implementation results confirm that this multi-level protection framework effectively monitors real time energy usage, prevents critical component damage, and enhances the overall safety of household-scale PV installations. This research provides a scalable and intelligent solution for fault mitigation, supporting the broader adoption of renewable energy in tropical environments.

Abstract

This article describes the design of a data system to integrate energy conversion from photovoltaic measurements connected to the power grid. The software used is visual studio, while the hardware uses polycrystalline photovoltaic (PV) with a capacity of 2.08 kW and several sensors that have been integrated into Arduino. Parameter data in measuring the performance of this PV system consists of temperature and humidity sensors to measure the panel surface, direct current (DC) current sensor, DC voltage sensor. To measure the current and voltage sourced from the electricity network, the module (PZEM-004T) is used. Measurements are designed using a graphical user interface (GUI) on a Visual Studio application that has been interfaced through Arduino programming. The data output on the sensor measurement will simultaneously record the circuit that has been connected to the solar panel and then display it visually in the form of tables and graphs in real time with a delay of 1 minute. The results of PV on grid measurements in sunny weather conditions obtained the maximum value of all measurements with a DC voltage of 221 V, while for an alternating current (AC) voltage of 231.60 V, the DC value reached 1827.17 W while the AC power was 1681 W.
