Abstract

Sampah plastik merupakan masalah penting yang terus meningkat setiap tahunnya. Ini adalah ancaman bagi ekosistem laut di seluruh dunia. Penelitian telah menunjukkan bahwa benda-benda plastik, seperti mikroplastik, hadir di air laut dan lingkungan lainnya. Mikroplastik dapat dikonsumsi oleh ikan, kemudian ikan dikonsumsi oleh manusia. Sampah plastik juga sangat mengganggu jalur transportasi laut, di mana banyak sampah padat ditemukan di jalur kapal dan perahu nelayan. Kematian terumbu karang dan lamun dapat berdampak signifikan terhadap lingkungan laut. Dengan menekan jumlah produksi plastik yang dihasilkan di darat maka sampah tidak akan berakhir di lautan kita dan tidak menyebapkan kerusakan lingkungan yang ada di laut melalui Bank Sampah mengolah sampah plastik menjadi barang kreatif yang kemudian dijual menjadikan suatu sumber ekonomi bagi kehidupan di sekitarnya, serta penggunaan kantong kain pengganti kantong plastik.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara kepulauan terbesar di dunia yang mempunyai panjang pantai lebih dari 81.000 km, yang memiliki ekosistem terumbu karang yang luas (± 51.000 km2 ). Ekosistem terumbu karang adalah salah satu ekosistem di kawasan pesisir yang memiliki peranan penting sebagai tempat yang kaya akan plasma nutfah. Kelestarian ekosistem terumbu karang di dunia menghadapi tantangan yang besar akibat adanya perubahan iklim yang meningkatkan suhu permukaan laut dan berdampak pada kerusakan terumbu karang akibat pemutihan karang atau bleaching. Sebaran dan kondisi dari terumbu karang di Indonesia penting untuk kita ketahui, agar kita dapat meningkatkan populasi dan kehidupan dari terumbu karang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan menggunakan data sekunder yang diambil dari BPS Tahun 2021 kemudian akan di deskripsikan secara deskriptif mengenai sebaran dan kondisi terumbu karang dari tahun 2013-2017. Berdasarkan data yang disajikan,dapat disimpulkan bahwa kondisi terumbu karang di Indonesia untuk kategori sangat baik pada Bagian Barat mengalami peningkatan pada tahun 2016 dan 2017. Peningkatan ini terjadi setelah terjadi penurunan pada tahun 2015.Untuk kategori baik, kondisi terumbu karang di Indonesia Bagian Tengah dan Barat mengalami penurunan pada tahun 2016. Untuk kategori cukup, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kondisi terumbu karang di Indonesia Bagian Tengah dan Timur mengalami pergerakan naik turun, sementara kondisi terumbu karang di Indonesia Bagian Barat relatif stabil. Untuk kategori kurang, kondisi terumbu karang di Indonesia Bagian Barat, Tengah, dan Timur mengalami peningkatan kerusakan dari tahun 2013 hingga 2017.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the mindmap-assisted STEM approach on students' Higher Order Thinking Skills in learning biology class X SMA Negeri 4 Kerinci. This research is experimental research with a group pretest-posttest design model. The population in this study came from students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 4 Kerinci in the academic year 2021/2022. The research sample was students of class X MIPA 2 and Class X MIPA 4. The sampling technique used was the random sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study was in the form of an objective test consisting of 20 HOTS questions that had been validated by experts. Data analysis is quantitative data analysis with tests using the SPSS 21 application. The results of the study can be concluded that the STEM approach has a significant effect on students' higher-order thinking skills in learning biology with the results of hypothesis testing 0.00 < 0.05. Furthermore, the STEM approach can increase students' HOTS in biology learning, the average score of the experimental class students is 85.76 and the control class is 70.31.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Motivasi kerja, Inisiatif dan Kompensasi Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Kendari. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil yang berjumlah 32 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis SPSS 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Motivasi kerja, inisiatif dan kompensasi secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, (2) motivasi kerja secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, (3) inisiatif secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai (4) kompensasi secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali peluang bisnis dengan memahami perilaku konsumen melalui pendekatan matematika ekonomi. Dengan mengintegrasikan konsep-konsep matematika ekonomi, kami melakukan analisis terhadap faktor faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku konsumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan matematika ekonomi dapat memberikan wawasan yang signifikan dalam memahami pola konsumen, preferensi, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian. Analisis ini memberikan landasan yang kuat untuk mengidentifikasi peluang bisnis, dan mengoptimalkan strategi pemasaran. Kontribusi utama dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan pendekatan matematika ekonomi sebagai alat analisis yang efektif untuk memahami perilaku konsumen. Implikasi praktis dari temuan ini dapat membantu pengusaha dan pemangku kepentingan bisnis dalam mengambil keputusan yang lebih terinformasi, meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, dan mengoptimalkan strategi penjualan.

Abstract

Stunting is a growth and development disorder in children caused by chronic malnutrition and recurrent infections, and is characterized by height or height below normal. The short-term impact of stunting can be reduced learning ability due to lack of cognitive development. Stunting is a nutritional problem caused by multifactors, namely social factors, biological factors and environmental factors. Environmental conditions such as poor water and sanitation are indirect factors that cause stunting in children. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence stunting in toddlers. The research design used was the literature review method. A total of 20 articles from the Google Scholar database were reviewed in this research with criteria published in 2019-2023. This study was prepared using a narrative method. Articles were grouped with similar results to answer research questions. This study found that theoretically, sanitation and water quality have an influence on the occurrence of stunting events. Conclusion: In overcoming stunting, environmental factors must be considered to improve the quality of drinking water so that it meets health standards and is suitable and safe for consumption. It is recommended to maintain good sanitation to prevent the emergence of disease outbreaks which increase the number of illnesses and deaths.

Abstract

Rivers play an important role in supporting people's lives. However, poor river water quality due to pollution has a significant impact on the survival of coastal communities and the condition of the surrounding environment. To overcome water pollution, it is important to implement stricter regulations that are regulated in Law no. 32 of 2009 supplemented by Republic of Indonesia Government Regulation Number 22 of 2021. The research carried out was quantitative descriptive in nature, highlighting the impact on the water quality of the Batang Arau river from examining BOD, COD and TSS, which are river water pollution parameters. The research results show that in 2023, the results of examining COD parameters in the upstream river area will exceed the set quality standard limit, namely 25 mg/L. The recorded value reached 87.3 mg/L, which indicates the presence of very high levels of organic chemicals in these waters. In 2024, inspection results show significant improvements in the water quality of the Batang Arau River. It was concluded that the water quality of the Batang Arau river shows a positive trend. The pollution conditions that occurred in 2023, especially in the COD and BOD parameters in the upstream river, have been successfully improved by 2024. This shows the success of efforts to improve environmental quality carried out in the river area.

Abstract

The environment is a unity of space that includes all natural elements, including living things and the interactions between these elements. In recent decades, waste pollution, especially microplastics, has become a major threat to aquatic ecosystems and human health. Microplastics are small plastic particles that are dispersed in various aquatic ecosystems and can accumulate in the food chain. This study aims to assess the abundance of microplastics in West Sumatra waters, especially in coastal areas, rivers and lakes. The method used in this research is literature review. Based on the literature review, microplastics were found in sediments and marine organisms, such as fish contaminated by microplastics, with the dominant type being fibers. Some areas, such as Carocok Beach, Bungus Bay and Purus Beach, show high abundance of microplastics, which is associated with human activities and poor waste management. These findings emphasize the importance of better waste management to reduce microplastic pollution. This study also provides a clearer picture of the distribution of microplastics, their impacts on aquatic ecosystems and human health, and suggests more effective plastic waste management policies in West Sumatra to maintain the sustainability of aquatic ecosystems and public health.

Abstract

Nowadays, the world's attention is focused on the problem of global warming. This is because global warming contributes to ecosystem changes. The article reviews the factors that cause global warming, how the impacts are caused from various aspects including elevated sea levels, unpredictable weather patterns, and disasters caused by nature, disruption to productivity and crops, health problems and decreased biodiversity. Furthermore, this paper reviews what efforts can be made to mitigate global warming. This article uses a literature review method that synthesizes several international articles as reference information related to global warming. The study's findings indicate that the primary factors causing global warming are the increase in greenhouse gases and deforestation. This factor has an impact on ecosystem changes so that it has a high urgency in overcoming it. Mitigation efforts to address global warming include conventional mitigation strategies, negative emission technologies, and innovative geoengineering approaches. In addition, it requires seriousness and diplomatic cooperation from various parties in efforts to mitigate the impacts caused.

Abstract

Evaluation of student abilities in Biology subjects often faces challenges in ensuring that the instruments used actually measure what they are supposed to measure. The data analysis used is the Rasch model, which is part of item response theory, offering a more accurate approach in analyzing evaluation data. This model allows the identification of items that are inappropriate or too difficult, as well as providing more in-depth information about individual student abilities.  Through analysis of instruments and question items from 30 multiple choice questions that emphasize critical thinking skills, the aim of this research is to assess the quality of Biology questions for class X SMA. Testing was carried out using WinStep software and Rasch modeling analysis on 166 students from five high schools/vocational schools. The research method used is quantitative. The results of the instrument investigation show that the issue has very good dependability and the unidimensionality of the instrument is indicated by unexplained changes in the first differentiation. These results show that the Rasch test can help educators in selecting questions that meet the evaluation criteria and contribute to improving the quality of national education. The implications of this research are By applying the Rasch Model, educators can develop more accurate and fair evaluation tools, which are able to identify individual student difficulties and strengths.
