Abstract

This journal discusses the impact of TikTok's $1.5 billion USD acquisition of Tokopedia shares. Following the closure of TikTok Shop in Indonesia due to licensing issues, ByteDance (TikTok's parent company) re-entered the Indonesian e-commerce market through an investment in Tokopedia. This acquisition has sparked speculation about the collaboration and its impact on Indonesia's digital industry. Tokopedia will manage TikTok Shop in Indonesia, while TikTok will continue to operate as a social media platform. Concerns have arisen about potential monopoly and China's geopolitical influence, given ByteDance's close ties with the Chinese government. Issues of data ownership and security have also been highlighted as serious threats. This article emphasizes the importance of vigilance against foreign influence and its impact on Indonesia's economic sovereignty, drawing parallels to historical experiences such as the Trojan Horse, which illustrates the dangers of complacency.

Abstract

Literasi digital merupakan kemampuan untuk menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi secara efektif, kritis, dan bertanggung jawab. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dunia pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan aplikasi mobile learning dalam meningkatkan literasi digital guru dan siswa. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan desain studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mobile learning memberikan dampak positif, seperti memudahkan akses materi pembelajaran, meningkatkan interaksi, dan mendorong kemandirian belajar. Namun, ditemukan juga tantangan seperti ketersediaan infrastruktur internet yang terbatas, kesenjangan akses perangkat, dan kurangnya pelatihan bagi guru. Temuan ini sejalan dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang menyoroti potensi mobile learning dalam transformasi pendidikan, sekaligus pentingnya mengatasi kesenjangan digital. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa aplikasi mobile learning dapat menjadi alat efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi digital, asalkan didukung oleh infrastruktur yang memadai, pelatihan intensif, dan kebijakan yang inklusif. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut guna mengoptimalkan manfaat aplikasi mobile learning dalam dunia pendidikan. Digital literacy is the ability to use information and communication technology effectively, critically and responsibly. The development of information and communication technology (ICT) has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including the world of education. This research aims to analyze the use of mobile learning applications in increasing the digital literacy of teachers and students. With a qualitative approach and case study design, data was collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document study at [specify research location]. The research results show that mobile learning applications have a positive impact, such as making it easier to access learning materials, increasing interaction, and encouraging independent learning. However, challenges were also found such as limited availability of internet infrastructure, gaps in device access, and lack of training for teachers. These findings are in line with previous research which highlights the potential of mobile learning in educational transformation, as well as the importance of overcoming the digital divide. This research concludes that mobile learning applications can be an effective tool for increasing digital literacy, as long as they are supported by adequate infrastructure, intensive training, and inclusive policies. Recommendations are given for further development to optimize the benefits of mobile learning applications in the world of education.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of financial performance on stock prices. Economic performance is measured using liquidity, solvency, and profitability ratios. Current Ratio (CR) is used to measure liquidity ratios, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) is used to measure solvency ratios, and Return on Equity (ROE) is used to measure profitability ratios. The research sample used consumer goods sector companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2021-2023 period, with the regression model used is multiple linear regression. The research results show that partially, the Current Ratio (CR) does not have a significant effect on stock prices. Meanwhile, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Return on Equity (ROE) significantly influence stock prices. The ratios presented in financial reports provide sufficient information that investors need in making decisions. With relevant information from the financial reports presented by the company, investors can avoid mispricing which often occurs in share prices in the capital market.

Abstract

This research is about the parking tax burden in Probolinggo City. The aim of this research is to determine the contribution of parking tax to local revenue in Probolinggo City. This research was analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. The survey was conducted at the Probolinggo City Regional Tax Assessment Administration Office. Based on research results, receipts from parking tax donations in Probolinggo City reached IDR 3,862.05 billion in 2018, reaching IDR 4,083.6 million in 2019 and IDR 4,083.6 million in 2020. 4,158.7 million. Based on the analysis of the contribution level of parking tax revenue in the City of Probolinggo, it can be said to be able to make a full contribution to increasing the local revenue of the City of Probolinggo. In 2018 the percentage was 105.24%. The percentage in 2019 was 111.18%, and the highest percentage in 2020 was 115.22%. This is because the services of the Probolinggo City Government are being utilized optimally in exploring possible parking rates.

Abstract

Kesadaran terhadap pentingnya kesehatan merubah tuntutan masyarakat terhadap produk pangan yaitu pangan yang menyehatkan. Pangan tanpa tambahan zat aditif seperti pengawet, pewarna buatan, perasa artificial dan lain-lain adalah keinginan masyarakat. Yoghurt adalah produk susu yang difermentasi dengan bantuan asam laktat (BAL). Bakteri yang terlibat dalam pembuatan yoghurt ini menggunakan kombinasi dua jenis starter bakteri yaituLactobacillus bulgaricus dan Streptococus thermophillus. Selain sebagai pangan sehat, Yogurt juga memiliki peluang untuk dijadikan salah satu wirausaha.  Usaha untuk mengubah pola pikir masyarakat tentang pentingnya kesehatan dan peluang kewirausahaan dari yogurt salah satunya melalui kegiatan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat (PKM). Kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Kimia Yanitas Palembang dengan tema “Pemanfaatan Teknologi Pangan (Pembuatan Yogurt) sebagai Usaha Pengenalan Kewirausahaan pada Sivitas Akademik   Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Kimia Yanitas Palembang”. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk mewujudkan salah satu dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yaitu Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat, mengabdikan ilmu dan pengetahuan serta memberikantambahan pengetahuan dan wawasan mengenai Teknologi Pangan kepada masyarakat melalui penyuluhan bagaimana cara membuat yoghurt yang sehat, higienis tanpa pengawet dan tanpa penambahan zat aditif yang berbahaya untuk menjadi peluang berwirausaha bagi sivitas akademik di SMK Kimia Yanitas Palembang

Abstract

This study aims to apply the Activity-Based Costing (ABC) method in calculating the cost of goods manufactured (COGM) at Ngucekin Laundry, a service-based business offering dry cleaning, ironing, curtain washing, and bed cover cleaning. The ABC method is utilized to gain more accurate cost information by allocating costs based on activities and relevant cost drivers. This approach is essential for improving pricing effectiveness and business strategy, particularly for MSMEs facing complex service production processes. The findings reveal significant differences between the production costs calculated using the ABC method and the currently applied pricing, with some services showing margins exceeding 60%. These results indicate the need to reassess the current pricing structure to better reflect actual costs while remaining competitive in the market. Overall, the implementation of the ABC method proves to provide a clearer cost perspective and supports more precise managerial decision-making..

Abstract

Strategies to increase employee motivation at Haus Ketintang, an F&B company that operates as a franchise and has a dynamic and competitive business background. This research aims to identify internal and external factors that influence employee motivation and performance and formulate effective strategies to encourage work enthusiasm and productivity. The methodology used is qualitative research with a Grounded Theory approach, which is supported by documentation studies from various literature sources and field experiences. The results show that a positive work environment, recognition, soft skill and hard skill development training, as well as motivation through rewards and career development opportunities can significantly improve employee motivation and performance. This paper emphasizes the importance of the role of managerial strategies in creating a conducive work atmosphere to support the company's success in achieving its business goals.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk's implementation of the Activity-Based Management (ABM) approach and the extent to which the company discloses strategic information in its fourth quarter annual report. The study focuses on cost efficiency, management of corporate activities, and transparency in disclosing information related to ownership structure, leverage, and profitability. The analysis shows that the implementation of ABM can help companies maximise value-added activities and reduce unnecessary costs. However, the disclosure of strategic information, especially related to share ownership and financing structure, is still not fully transparent to the public.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-based learning media on student motivation and learning outcomes in economics subjects at SMAN 1 Sreseh. The quasi-experimental method was used to compare the effectiveness of ICT-based learning with conventional methods in grade X students. Data analysis also indicates a significant relationship between motivation levels and student learning outcomes. The study concludes that the integration of ICT in economic learning can improve student engagement, learning effectiveness, and their academic achievement, especially when supported by adequate infrastructure and training..

Abstract

Learning a foreign language is closely related to human psychology, where learners sometimes got anxiety which is the common reaction in English classes. Horwitz (2001) states that one-third of the students who study foreign languages experience at least at an average level. The population of this study was the nursing science students of STIK Bina Husada in the 2016/2017 academic year; the sample of this study was the second-semester students who took English II subject, where there were 45 students consisting of 15 males and 30 females. The purposes of this research were to find out the frequency and the level of English speaking anxiety of Nursing Science Students STIK Bina Husada Palembang. The frequency of English speaking anxiety was categorized into very often, often, seldom, and never, while the level of English speaking anxiety was categorized into high, moderate, and low. To collect the data, two questionnaires of an English speaking anxiety adapted from Horwitz, Horwitz, and Cope (1986) were distributed. The result of this study showed that 6 students (13%) answered very often, 18 students (40%) answered often, 19 students (42%) answered seldom, and 2 students (5%) answered never felt anxious when speaking English in the class. Further, the second questionnaire showed that 2 students (5%) were in the high category, 42 students (93%) were in moderate, 1 student (2%) was in low anxiety. In accordance with the students’ answers, it was hoped that the students realized that it was natural to make mistake in English class.
