Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pendekatan fonetik, pendekatan kontrastif, dan pendekatan komunikatif dalam mengajar membaca Alquran bagi muslim Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan untuk mengungkap pengajaran membaca Alquran dengan pendekatan fonetik, kontrastif, dan komunikatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengajaran membaca Alquran efektif dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan fonetik, kontrastif, dan komunikatif. Pendekatan fonetik maksudnya mengajarkan bunyi-bunyi atau huruf Alquran lebih ditekankan kepada cara mengucapkan lambang bunyi Alquran baik yang berupa huruf maupun yang berupa harakat yang semestinya menurut Ilmu Tajwid dari pada mengenalkan nama-nama huruf atau harakat itu. Pendekatan kontrastif maksudnya mengajarkan membaca Alquran kepada anak-anak Indonesia harus dimulai dengan mengenalkan huruf-huruf atau harakat yang bunyinya ada padanannya dalam bahasa Indonesia untuk mempermudah mereka dalam pengucapan. Pendekatan komunikatif maksudnya kita mengajarkan membaca Alquran melalui mengenal tanda baca dan bagaimana membunyikan tanda baca-tanda baca itu dengan benar, baik dalam bentuk huruf, harakat, kata maupun kalimat yang betul-betul ada dan dipakai dalam Alquran.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain an overview of the profiles of lecturers based on webometrics, a general description of webometrics-based facilities at UIN Jakarta, and the profiles of the lecturers on Google Scholar. The method used in this study is a survey method, especially in taking the respondents as a data source. In presenting the data, this study uses descriptive analysis method which illustrates the results obtained from the survey of the profiles of FITK (Faculty of Education and Teachers Training) lecturers on Google Scholar. The study was conducted within a period of 6 months (April 1st to September 31st, 2015). List of Ranks shows the number of permanent lecturers (civil servants) of FITK UIN Jakarta is 163 lecturers. Nevertheless, after conducting a tracking study, there are 35 lecturers only who already have a profile account on Google Scholar. Out of 35 lecturers, only 19 lecturers have values in citations, h-index, and h10-index. Prof. Dr. Abuddin Nata, M.A. is the most prolific and most widely cited lecturer on Google Scholar in the Faculty of Education and Teachers Training (FITK) of UIN Jakarta. His scientific works have been cited 1600 times in other works. He has also the highest h-index value, 17 (seventeen), and the highest i10-index, 21 (twenty one).

Abstract

The article aims to reveal the role of electronic social media such as youtube, instagram, and facebook as alternative media for Arabic teaching. The article employed a qualitative method through literature approach revealing phenomenon that are developing in the Arabic teaching. It is true that the three social media are alternative media that can be used by teachers in teaching Arabic. Students of elementary to secondary school, further students of college commonly use the three social media. The use of social media in the learning process is very likely may improve students’ motivation and interest. In addition, Arabic teaching will of course not bordered by space since it can be conducted anywhere

Abstract

Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang gagasan ideal pembelajaran bahasa Arab untuk jenjang dasar (madrasah ibtidaiyah), meliputi tujuan pembelajaran, materi pembelajaran, dan metode pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini merupakan metode kualitatif dengan sumber kajian pustaka (library research). Semakin kreatif dan inovatif seorang pengajar dalam menyampaikan pelajaran bahasa Arab, semakin mudah murid menerima pelajaran bahasa Arab. Hal tersebut merupakan faktor utama keberhasilan pelajaran bahasa Arab jenjang MI.

Abstract

Pesantren in Banten have different characteristics compare to other pesantren in Indonesia. Discussing about this Province, most people believe that Banten is of a Province in Indonesia which is famous with its Ulama, Kyai, Santri and Pesantren. This research discusses about practices of magical culture in Pesantren around Banten. The research model used in this study is qualitative-descriptive. Historical studies are used to present a narrative and chronological presentation of the storyline of a discussion. Results showed that stereotypes and beliefs arise because Islamic values have traditionally been rooted in most Banten citizens, culturally and ritually. One of the characteristic of Pesantren in Banten is that every santri are taught with magic, silat and tasawuf knowledge. Those are characteristics that have always been a matter of discussion, people believe that there are practices of magic in every pesantren in Banten. Some sources call Banten a center for the occult sciences, as well as being known as a religious area. Magical practice is still considered important for the people of Banten, especially those living in rural areas to solve practical problems in their social life. In addition, the existence of jawara and pesantren has created its own cult which is somewhat different from the dominant culture of Banten society

Abstract

This study aims to describe the self-regulated learning strategy of students of the Arabic Language Education Program at UIN Antasari Banjarmasin in online Arabic lectures during the pandemic. This study used a qualitative method with an exploratory investigative approach to identify 100 students' self-regulated learning strategies to support learning Arabic from a distance. This study examines 4 (four) indicators in self-regulated learning strategies, namely Goal Setting, Environment Structuring, Task Strategies, and Time Management. The results showed that one of the goal-setting strategies, where students hope to master the elements of Arabic and have Arabic language skills, got the highest average score of 5.68 out of 6. While the time management, in which students benefitted from online learning as it is flexible in determining additional study time, got the lowest average score of 3.95 out of a scale of 6. This value still shows a positive trend which can be interpreted that those students have carried out self-regulated learning strategies well in online Arabic lectures

Abstract

The researcher chose this title because of problems in listening skills learning activities, such as students have not been able to receive information or messages contained from a speaker, which is caused by a lack of vocabulary,their inability to differentiate short and long sounds of letters in pairs.In addition, the students lack interest in learning, and the teacher chooses media and methods unsuitable for listening learning activities. This study aims to analyze the application of chain whispering games in teaching listening, analyze the effect of chain whispering on students' learning outcomes, and reveal the supporting and inhibiting factors in teaching this game. This quantitative research uses an experimental (pre-experimental) method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were students of class VIII at MTs Serpong, and researchers took research samples of 33 students in class VIII. Researchers used data collecting methods: pre- and post-tests, observation, interviews, and questionnaires. After the researcher gave the pretest and posttest to students, this study obtained an average pretest score of 53.48 and an average posttest score of 79.10, with the results of the effectiveness of the N-Gain pretest and posttest of language games on students' listening skills was 54.0 with the category enough. After the calculation, the table value is obtained at the 5% level, which is 0.943, and shows that the Zero Hypothesis ( 16HO" style="width: 15pt; height: 15pt;"> ) and the Alternative Hypothesis ( 16Ha" style="width: 15pt; height: 15pt;"> ) are accepted. It shows a significant effect between the series of whispering games on listening skills learning and student learning outcomes. Keywords:  Learning Listening Skills, Language Games, Whispering Chains

Abstract

Textbooks are written with a focus on various aspects in order to keep up with developments and times and can implement the curriculum. HOTS is a high-level thinking skill teachers and students must possess in the 21st century. HOTS is an essential part of a textbook because textbooks are a learning medium. This study aims to determine the implementation of HOTS in textbooks and describe the instructions in the eleventh-grade Arabic textbook by Dariyadi and Feriandika. Various levels of instruction in a textbook are needed to determine student abilities, strengthen understanding, and evaluate and measure the goals achieved from a lesson. This research is literature research with a content analysis technique. The type of research data is primary data in the form of textbooks, data collection through documentation, verification, selection, focus, data, and then conclusion. The results showed that the Arabic textbook for class XI SMA had reflected HOTS with as much as 75% of HOTS-based exercises. The instructional level is at levels C4-C6 in analyzing, discovering, and creating.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Arabic learning during the pandemic and explores students' intentions and motivations in learning Arabic online. The type used in this research is a qualitative approach. An exploratory investigative approach is used to investigate students' intentions and motivations in learning Arabic online. Data will be collected by distributing the questionnaire offline and online. The data was then used to analyse the intentions and motivations of second semester students of the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program at UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten to support the long-distance Arabic courses. The study results indicate that the overall average score is still above 4 on a scale of 6. It be interpreted that the students having good intentions and motivation in online Arabic lectures.

Abstract

AbstractTerrorism is one of the extraordinary crimes, creating terror based on ideological differences and misinterpreting religious teaching. This research focuses on how the re-education program for terrorist convicts is carried out and what are the factors that influence a person to be involved in criminal acts of terrorism. The research uses qualitative methods within the exploratory, investigative approach. The participants of the research are 36 terrorism convicts who are still serving their sentences. The research found that the re-education program given to terrorism convicts centered on strengthening ideology related to strong religious values and nationalism spirit. The ideological aspect is the main point in the re-education program, this is because the ideological aspect is more permanent and effective. The terrorists were still dominated by males and members of JAD (Jamaah Anshorut Daulah). The background of the individuals is also varied, ranging from uneducated to bachelor or higher, unemployed to civil servants. The convicts who join a terrorist group have different reasons. However, several reasons generally stated by convicts involved in terrorist groups are a strong belief in a particular ideology or religion, hatred of certain groups or ideologies, and the urge to make radical changes in society. In addition, convicts may also be affected by factors such as poverty, injustice, and discrimination they experienced. The research also unveils that the convicts have regret for their previous acts. Therefore, the re-education program's main role is to ensure the convicts are part of society once again.AbstrakTerorisme adalah salah satu kejahatan luar biasa yang menciptakan ketakutan berdasarkan perbedaan ideologi dan penafsiran yang salah terhadap ajaran agama. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana program reedukasi terhadap terorisme dijalankan dan faktor-faktor apa saja yang memengaruhi seseorang untuk terlibat dalam tindakan kriminal terorisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan eksploratif dan investigatif. Peserta penelitian adalah 36 narapidana terorisme yang masih menjalani hukuman mereka. Penelitian menemukan bahwa program reedukasi yang diberikan kepada narapidana terorisme berpusat pada penguatan ideologi terkait nilai agama dan semangat berbangsa yang kuat. Aspek ideologis menjadi poin utama dalam program reedukasi, hal tersebut dikarenakan aspek ideologis lebih bersifat permanen dan efektif. Teroris masih didominasi oleh laki-laki dan anggota JAD (Jamaah Anshorut Daulah). Latar belakang individu-individu ini juga beragam, mulai dari yang tidak berpendidikan hingga sarjana atau lebih tinggi, dari pengangguran hingga pegawai negeri. Narapidana yang bergabung dengan kelompok teroris memiliki alasan yang berbeda. Namun, beberapa alasan yang umumnya dinyatakan oleh narapidana yang terlibat dalam kelompok teroris adalah keyakinan kuat pada ideologi atau agama tertentu, kebencian terhadap kelompok atau ideologi tertentu, dan dorongan untuk membuat perubahan radikal dalam masyarakat. Selain itu, narapidana juga dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor seperti kemiskinan, ketidakadilan, dan diskriminasi yang mereka alami. Penelitian juga mengungkapkan bahwa para narapidana menyesal atas tindakan mereka sebelumnya. Oleh karena itu, program reedukasi menjalankan peran utamanya untuk memastikan para narapidana kembali menjadi bagian dari masyarakat.How to Cite: Nisa,P.K., Mustofa, T.
