Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of simultaneous training and job placement on the work motivation of the Support department at PT. Adis Dimension Footwear Balaraja-Tangerang.This study used a quantitative descriptive method, with a sample size of 78 respondents. Simple random sampling was used to determine the sample size. The Slovin formula was used to determine a representative sample size in quantitative research. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 26.The results of this study indicate that (1) partially, training significantly influences the work motivation of the Support department at PT. Adis Dimension Footwear Balaraja-Tangerang, as indicated by the calculated t-value > t-table (4.514 > 1.992) and a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Therefore, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. (2) partially, job placement significantly influences the work motivation of the Support department at PT. Adis Dimension Footwear Balaraja-Tangerang, as indicated by the calculated t-value > t-table (2.223 > 1.992) and a significance value of 0.000, which is less than the 0.05 level. Therefore, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. (3) Simultaneously, training and job placement significantly influence work motivation in the Support department at PT. Adis Dimension Footwear Balaraja-Tangerang, as indicated by the calculated F-value > F-table (39.902 > 3.12) with a significance level of 0.000. Therefore, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.Based on the research results, it can be concluded that training and job placement, both partially and simultaneously, have a significant influence on work motivation in the Support department at PT. Adis Dimension Footwear Balaraja- Tangerang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of psychological resources (Psychological Capital/PsyCap) and perceived organizational support (Perceived Organizational Support/POS) in explaining employee performance at technology startups in Indonesia. The dynamic, flexible, and digitally collaborative work environment of startups requires employees to not only possess technical skills, but also psychological readiness and adequate organizational support in order to remain productive amid high work pressure. This study uses an explanatory quantitative approach with SEM-PLS analysis of data collected through an online questionnaire from 150 technology startup employees in Indonesia using the Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ), Survey of Perceived Organizational Support (SPOS), and employee performance scales based on task performance and contextual performance.  Validity, reliability, and hypothesis testing were conducted through outer model and inner model evaluation as well as bootstrapping procedures. The analysis results show that POS (β = 0.260; p < 0.05) and PsyCap (β = 0.174; p < 0.05) have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with POS having a stronger effect than PsyCap. The R² value of 0.130 indicates that the contribution of both variables is at a moderate level, opening up the possibility of other psychological mechanisms such as engagement, readiness for change, motivation, and well-being that have the potential to mediate this relationship. These findings confirm that the performance of technology startup employees in Indonesia is the result of the interaction between external organizational support and internal psychological strengths of individuals, so startup management needs to simultaneously strengthen organizational support and develop employee psychological capital to encourage sustainable performance.

Abstract

Water demand for the agricultural sector in island regions continues to increase in line with population growth and land-use intensification (Kodoatie, 1996; Todd & Mays, 2005). One sustainable alternative for water supply is the utilization of groundwater, particularly deep aquifers. This study aims to identify the potential and characteristics of subsurface aquifers using the geoelectrical resistivity method with a Schlumberger configuration in Bungayya Village, Bontomatenne District, Selayar Islands Regency, South Sulawesi Province. Measurements were conducted at a single vertical electrical sounding (VES) point (GL_01) with a maximum current electrode spacing of AB/2 up to 100 m. The inversion results indicate two main subsurface layers: a surface limestone layer with resistivity values ranging from 126 to 1515.1 Ωm at depths of 0–15 m, and a sandstone layer of the Walanae Formation with resistivity values of 10–126 Ωm at depths of 15–70 m. The sandstone layer is interpreted as a deep aquifer capable of storing and transmitting freshwater with sufficient discharge for agricultural irrigation. Based on the interpretation results, groundwater drilling is recommended to a depth of approximately 70 m. The findings demonstrate that the geoelectrical resistivity method is effective as a preliminary approach for groundwater exploration, particularly in areas characterized by carbonate and sedimentary geological conditions (Telford et al., 1990; Loke, 2000).
