Abstract

Current educational theories and studies emphasize the need to use innovative and collaborative approaches to improve student’s learning experience, especially in the field of English Language Teaching (ELT). This study explores the obstacles and strategies for using these teaching approaches in the Indonesian ELT context. The research used mixed methods with a convergent parallel design. The questionnaires were used to gather data from 42 English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers, while semi-structured interviews were done with 6 teachers to explore their perspectives and experiences. The research was conducted in one district in West Sulawesi, Indonesia. The significant findings emphasize the critical impact of innovative and collaborative learning on improving students’ learning outcomes. The results also found obstacles that impede innovative and collaborative actual use, such as inadequate resources, teacher reluctance, and lack of appropriate teacher professional development. This research has potential implications beyond Indonesia and provides significant insights and suggestions for educators, policymakers, and stakeholders in comparable EFL situations globally to promote creative and collaborative learning environments.

Abstract

The transformative potential of the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) education emphasizes inquiry-based learning, global awareness, and intercultural competence, positioning it as a pivotal model for educational reform. This study aims to explore the beliefs and practices of Indonesian EFL teachers within the IB framework, focusing on how these educators perceive and enact their roles in fostering holistic student development. Utilizing a qualitative narrative inquiry approach, the research was conducted at a primary school in Tangerang, Indonesia, involving six EFL teachers categorized by their teaching experience. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis and were subsequently examined using thematic analysis to identify key patterns and themes. The findings reveal that EFL teachers perceive their roles as multifaceted, requiring continuous professional development, cultural integration, and creating engaging, student-centered learning environments. The teachers emphasized the importance of inquiry-based learning and critical thinking, which they see as essential for preparing students for future challenges. The study's implications underscore the need for educational policies that support ongoing teacher development and the integration of holistic, inquiry-driven curricula in EFL education. These findings contribute to the broader discourse on educational reform in Indonesia, highlighting the critical role of teacher beliefs in shaping effective pedagogical practices within the IB framework

Abstract

Many MSME actors in carrying out their business activities do not carry out accounting books, especially in their operational activities, which have an impact on not presenting financial reports, this is due to inadequate understanding of accounting and MSME actors do not have the ability to present quality financial reports. The purpose of the research is to partially analyse the understanding of accounting and the ability of MSME actors to present financial statements. The sample is 65 MSME players in the industrial sector in Mekarmanik Village, Cimenyan District, Bandung Regency. The findings prove that partially accounting understanding and the ability of MSME actors affect the presentation of financial statements.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and determine the validity and feasibility of Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media in physics subjects. This study is a development research or Research & Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate). The subjects of the study were 30 students of class XI-5 SMAN 7 Palu in the 2022/2023 academic year. The instrument used was a closed questionnaire with a Likert scale type. Based on the results of the assessment by material experts on AR-based learning media, the category was "valid", the assessment from design experts obtained the category "valid", and based on the results of the student response questionnaire, the category was "very good".

Abstract

Lanjut usia merupakan fase kehidupan yang pasti dialami setiap individu, yang ditandai dengan penurunan fungsi fisik, kognitif, dan sosial. Metode: Pencarian literatur dilakukan secara online dengan menggunakan database seperti google schoolar dan science direct. Kata kunci yang digunakan adalah “faktor resiko jatuh” dan  “lansia”. Review ini bertujuan untuk melihat faktor faktor yang mempengaruhi resiko jatuh pada lansia. Berdasarkan hasil review sepuluh jurnal, faktor faktor yang mempengaruhi resiko jatuh pada lansia. Risiko jatuh pada lansia dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, baik intrinsik maupun ekstrinsik. Strategi pencegahan harus komprehensif, mencakup perubahan gaya hidup, perbaikan lingkungan, dan pemantauan kesehatan secara rutin untuk mengurangi dampak negatif pada lansia.

Abstract

Kebijakan dividen sangat penting karena tidak hanya berkaitan dengan kepentingan perusahaan tetapi juga berkaitan dengan kepentingan pemegang saham. Dividen yang diberikan kepada pemegang saham tergantung pada kebijakan perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji pengaruh Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, dan Net Profit Margin terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio di Astra Agro Lestari PT. Tbk.Variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah, Dividend Payout Ratio sebagai variabel dependen dan Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, dan Net Profit Margin sebagai variabel independen. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan statistik F untuk menguji pengaruh bersama-sama dengan tingkat kepercayaan 5% dan t-statistik untuk menguji koefisien regresi parsial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Current Ratio tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio dengan nilai t hitung 1,013 dan signifikan 0,333. Debt to Equity Ratio mempunyai pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio dengan nilai t-hitung - 3,400 dan signifikan 0,006. Net Profit Margin tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Dividend Payout Ratio dengan nilai t-hitung -1,665 dan signifikan 0,124. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik F, diperoleh nilai F sebesar 7,137 dan signifikan 0,006, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio dan Net Profit Margin secara simultan mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Devidend Payout Ratio. Nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,568, yang menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio dan Net Profit Margin terhadap Devidend Payout Ratio sebesar 56,8% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 43,2% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain diluar variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Pada proyek EPC Smelter Manyar yang digunakan untuk pengolahan konsentrat tembaga, dilakukan pembuatan Sulfuric Acid Storage Tank yang menggunakan material SA 283 Grade C. Storage tank tersebut dilakukan proses heat treatment(PWHT, post weld heat treatment) yang bertujuan untuk mengurangi residual stress atau tegangan sisa pada material setelah dilakukan pengelasan. Proses pemanasan dan pendinginan saat pengelasan dapat menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan struktur mikro dan properties material sehingga menimbulkan residual stress setelah pengelasan selesai. Pada proyek EPC Manyar Smelter ini, pelat dengan thickness diatas 25 mm harus dilakukan PWHT atau stress relievingmelalui pemanasan pada temperatur dan jangka waktu tertentu. PWHT yang dilakukan di industri, memiliki kekurangan dalam pengerjaannya seperti terbatasnya furnace, biaya yang cukup besar dan membutuhkan waktu relatif lama. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya solusi baru untuk meminimalisir kekurangan tersebut yaitu dengan metode temper bead welding(TBW). Temper bead welding (TBW) merupakan teknik pengelasan dengan menempatkan manik las (bead) pada lokasi tertentu pada proses pengelasan untuk merubah struktur mikro dan sifat mekanik pada material yang diharapkan memiliki sifat mekanik yang sama dengan metode PWHT. Teknik ini dalam perkembangannya, sangat efektif dan efisien dalam pengerjaan suatu proyek dan dapat mengurangi biaya yang besar. Hasil pengujian hardness pada teknik Temper Bead Welding menunjukkan nilai rata-rata hardness lebih tinggi daripada teknik PWHT, namun masih memenuhi syarat keberterimaan material SA 283 Grade C, pada standard NACE 0294 yaitu maksimal 248 HV. Dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa teknik Temper Bead Welding ini dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif pengganti PWHT.

Abstract

Senam Bugar Muhamamdiyah Socialization and Training is a training and outreach activity regarding Senam Bugar Muhamamdiyah which can be used as one of the physical activities to improve the degree of physical fitness of students in Muhammadiyah schools and the Muhammadiyah community. This fitness exercise involves all ages and has irreversible movements, so it can be done together. The activity locations were in several Muhammadiyah schools, namely MI Muhammadiyah Cipetir with 287 students and 14 teachers, MTs Muhammadiyah Cipoho 27 students, SMA Muhammadiyah Sukabumi City with 37 students and in Kp. Cigrass Ds. Sela Awi kec. There were 40 people in Sukaraja, Sukabumi Regency, bringing the total activity participants to 405 participants. Activities carried out for 6 months with meetings once a week. Schedule of activities attached. The achievement of the success of the training was 65% of the participants had memorized the Muhamamdoyah fitness movement and the rest had not memorized it well. We can say that the activity went quite well. There were several factors that hindered the implementation of socialization and training including limited time at school which was cut short by the Ramadan holidays and Eid al-Fitr holidays so that it had quite an effect on the results of the Senam Bugar Muhamamdiyah training because participants were cut off for training and when the exercises started again, the participants forgot again with the movements so they had to start over from the beginning in providing training, the characteristics of students who were still difficult to instruct and students' interest in gymnastic activities were still lacking. However, the supporting factors include adequate facilities and infrastructure, teacher participation, and conducive school support.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between arm muscle strength and abdominal muscle strength to the accuracy of the lob overhead punch in badminton game. This research uses quantitative method with test and measurement technique and processed with multiple correlation statistic analysis. The research sample is the students of Grade VIII MTs Negeri 3 Sukabumi, amounting to 30 people with using random sampling technique. Based on the result of X1 correlation, X2 to Y obtained Fcount is bigger than Ftable, that is Fcount (35,2)> Ftable (2,57) with significance level 0,05. By getting the calculation of RX1X2Y of 0.840 with the category pertained strong and high. And the construction is simultaneously R2 x 100% = 0.8402 x 100% = 70.5% and the remaining 29.5%. This means that mastery of arm muscle strength and abdominal muscle strength contributes to the accuracy of the lob overhead punch in badminton games by 70.5% and the remaining 29.5% by other variables.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the arm muscle strength, wrist flexibility, and know their contribution to the accuracy of long forehand service precision. The type of this research uses servey. The population of this research is 30 people, the sample is taken by total sampling. Arm muscle strength data obtained from push up, wrist flexibility data obtained from test goniometer, the long forehand service precision data obtained from long serve test. Data were analyzed by using correlation techniques and contribution (r2 x 100%) with significance level α 0,05. Data analisis of the arm muscle strength was obralned rscore = 0,543 and rtable = 0,374. Its contribution to the accuracy of long forehand service precision is 29,48%. Data analysis of wrist flexibility was obralned rscore = 0,559 and rtable = 0,374. Its contribution to the accuracy of wrist flexibility is 31,24%. Analysis of arm muscle strength data and wrist flexibility joint together contributed 44,35% to the accuracy of long forehand service precision.
