Abstract

This study was conducted at the school sdn west language 1 surabaya, by interviewing one of the teachers. This study aims to analyze any challenges that occurred during the 2013 change to the independent learning curriculum to teacher performance. The method used in the observation this time using qualitative methods, by interviewing one of the 5th grade teacher sd who has implemented an independent curriculum.This type of research data is using data collection techniques such as interviews with subjects needed in research as well as school data documentation needed in research. Results of research conducted at sdn lidah barat 1 surabaya this results analysis of change curriculum 2013 to independent curriculum study in teacher performance at sdn lidah barat 1 is still in the adjustment stage because the independent curriculum is a new curriculum, So the new teacher tried to teach an independent curriculum to the students in this in March initially with classes 1 and 4.In addition to the new first option to implement this independent curriculum.Teacher and learners alike need to understand the independent curriculum and still adjustment stage.Which goes back to the curriculum 2013 in exchange for an independent curriculum because learning is simpler and easier to understand.The achievement standards of the independent curriculum are simpler than the curriculum 2013, The materials given are also less, so that it can give time for the teacher to dive into each of his concepts.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of promotion and demotion mechanisms in teacher career development at SMA Labschool Unesa 1. This research uses a qualitative approach. The type of research used is interviews. The informant in this research was only one teacher. This research shows the mechanism of promotion and demotion in teacher career development at SMA Labschool Unesa 1. There are promotion and demotion indicators consisting of work performance, discipline, skills. Lastly, the demotion indicators consist of member incompetence, personal requests, and rationalization of numbers. The results of the discussion in this research are that in carrying out professional duties, teachers have the right to receive promotions in accordance with their duties and work performance, which includes promotion/increase in functional position. Furthermore, demotions are caused by the lack of performance of a teacher who is not good enough. Demoting a teacher does not happen directly, but there is a gradual evaluation, namely by evaluating several times with agreement with the other teachers. At SMA Labschool Unesa 1, there are no differences and there is a sense of family towards teachers who have just been demoted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the type of the taxes in school financial management. This study use basic qualitative or descriptive research approach with data collection techniques in this study are interviews and documentation. The data analysis use are data presentation and verification. The result of study obtained information about the type of taxes paid by SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya, namely Value Added Taxes and Income Taxes. At the SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya, transparency in the use of taxes in scholl is making accountability reports. The school treasure makes transparent accountability reports related to the use of tax funds in detail to interested parties. In order to comply with applicable tax regulatioms, SMAN 13 Surabaya several things, namely; [1] understand the applicable tax regulations in the school area; [2] identify relevant tax liabilities; [3] conduct tax planning to minimize the tax burden as much as legally possible; [4] register as taxpayer; [5] collect and make timely payment of taxes; [6] conduct tax reporting in accordance with applicable regulations.

Abstract

This research reveals the process of redistributing teachers' needs at SMPN 16 Surabaya, highlighting its impact on the quality of learning experiences. This research utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research centers on the school environment as the focus of teacher redistribution. Primary data were gleaned from in-depth interviews, focused group discussions, and participant observations, while secondary data were garnered through document analysis, including school records and educational policies. The research outcomes offer valuable perspectives for education administrators, policymakers, and researchers, suggesting the potential implementation of efficacious practices for continuous enhancement in SMPN 16 Surabaya and analogous educational institutions.

Abstract

Konflik ialah fenomena yang tak terelakkan dalam dinamika organisasi, terutama di lingkungan pendidikan seperti sekolah. Faktor-faktor seperti perbedaan keahlian, komposisi kelompok, dan tujuan individu dapat memicu konflik di antara anggota organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelajahi penerapan manajemen konflik sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Menganti. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, yang melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang dinamika konflik di sekolah. Manajemen konflik mengharuskan pihak-pihak yang terlibat untuk merumuskan strategi penyelesaian konflik yang efektif dan mengimplementasikannya secara terencana. Efektivitas manajemen konflik menjadi kunci dalam membangun kemajuan dan kesejahteraan di sekolah, memperkuat hubungan antara siswa, guru, dan tenaga kependidikan. Artikel ini menjelaskan proses identifikasi dan penanganan konflik secara efektif, dengan fokus pada konflik antara siswa, guru, dan tenaga kependidikan di SMA Negeri 1 Menganti. Dengan demikian, artikel ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam memahami dan meningkatkan dinamika konflik di lingkungan pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan menganalisis bagaimana implementasi tahapan alur seleksi di SMA Raden Fatah Driyorejo berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut (1) Langkah-langkah utama dalam proses perekrutan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan di SMA Raden Fatah; (2)Penilaian kualifikasi pendidik yang potensial; (3)Kriteria utama dalam mencari calon pendidik; (4)Proses seleksi pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan diintegrasikan dengan kebetuhan lembaga Pendidikan; (5)Tahapan kepala SMA Raden Fatah untuk menarik calon pendidik yang berkualitas; (6)Penilaian Keterampilan interpersonal dan kemampuan komunikasi calon pendidik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Penugasan dan Penempatan Waka Kurikulum Selaku Guru Bahasa Inggris di SMPN 28 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut (1)latar belakang pendidikan dan pengalaman kerja; (2)cara mengatasi tantangan yang mungkin timbul dalam lingkungan pendidikan dan contoh pengalaman spesifikasi yang dapat menggambarkan kemampuan dalam mengatasi kemampuan tersebut; (3)cara mengelola kelas serta waktu dengan efektif sehingga pembelajaran dapat tercapai, dan bagaimana cara memposisikan sebagai guru bahasa Inggris juga sebagai waka kurikulum, dan memberikan contoh situasi dimana hal tersebut dapat berhasil; (4)sertifikasi atau kualifikasi khusus yang diperlukan untuk posisi yang dimana harus menduduki dua tempat sebagai guru bahasa Inggis serta waka kurikulum; (5) cara mengevaluasi efektivitas metode pengajaran atau program yang diterapkan di kelas sebagai guru bahasa Inggris maupun di lingkungan kantor sebagai waka kurikulum; (6)pengalaman kerja khusus dengan komunitas atau kelompok khusus yang terwakili di dalam sebuah lembaga; (7)pengalaman menggunakan teknologi dalam konteks pendidikan dan cara mengintegrasikan teknologi kedalam praktik pengajaran serta dukungan.

Abstract

The RKAS application is an information and communication system to facilitate the budgeting, implementation and administration as well as accountability of the School Operational Assistance Fund in primary and secondary education units nationally. This study aims to determine how the RKAS application operates in assisting the management of the School Operational Assistance Fund (BOS). The method used in this research is a systematic literature review with the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) model. The data for this study was taken from the google scholar database. The results of this study show that the RKAS application is very helpful in managing BOS funds, besides that the RKAS application can also ensure accountability, transparency, effectiveness, and efficiency in its management. ARKAS allows schools to plan, implement, and report the use of funds efficiently. The use of ARKAS also makes it easier to monitor and evaluate the use of BOS funds. The use of the RKAS application has a significant impact on school financial management, the operation of a good RKAS application will have a good impact on schools, and vice versa. Thus, schools are obliged to use the RKAS application as a guide in managing BOS funds, so that BOS funds can be managed accountably and transparently and help in school management.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of work-life balance in improving teacher performance at SDN Jeruk 1 Surabaya. This research uses qualitative methods with in-depth interviews with different teachers at SDN Jeruk 1 Surabaya. Research shows that work-life balance has a positive effect on teacher motivation, job satisfaction and creativity. Teachers who are able to maintain a balance between work and home life tend to be more productive, have positive energy, and make maximum contributions to the learning process. In addition, work-life balance can also help reduce stress and fatigue, as well as improve teachers' mental and physical health. The importance of school policies and institutional support in creating a work environment that supports work-life balance is also an important finding of this study. Supports such as changes to workload policies, time flexibility, and time management can help teachers achieve a better balance. This research concludes that work-life balance plays an important role in improving teacher performance at SDN Jeruk 1 Surabaya. Therefore, deeper consideration of this aspect can have a positive impact not only on individual teachers but also on the quality of education as a whole.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformational leadership strategies of school principals in fostering teachers' handarbeni (sense of ownership) in two early childhood education institutions: TK Ananda and TK Al Muttaqin in Driyorejo. Using a qualitative approach and case study design, data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that principals who apply transformational leadership principles—idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration—successfully enhance teachers' emotional engagement and sense of responsibility. Despite challenges such as resource limitations and teacher resistance, these strategies effectively build collaborative and productive work cultures. These results contribute to the development of leadership practices in education to improve school quality.
