Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kelelahan merupakan tanda agar tubuh melakukan istirahat untuk melakukan pemulihan. Faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kelelahan sangat bervariasi seperti aktivitas fisik yang banyak, jam kerja yang berlebih, keadaan fisik dan mental, pekerjaan yang berulang dan kedaan kesehatan yang menurun. Tujuan: Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan beban kerja, iklim kerja, lama kerja, motivasi, dan stress dengan kelelahan kerja pada pekerja konstruksi di PT X Semarang. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan observational analitik dengan pendekatan studi cross-sectional. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 73 orang pekerja konstruksi. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah iklim kerja, lama kerja, motivasi kerja, beban kerja dan kelelahan kerja sebagai variabel terikat. Analisis dilakukan dengan uji nonparametrik menggunakan uji korelasi rank spearman. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja (p=0,000), iklim kerja (p=0,000), lama kerja (p=0,000) berhubungan dengan kelelahan kerja. Kesimpulan: Semua variabel dalam penelitian ini berhubungan dengan kelelahan kerja.

Abstract

The importance of adequate water consumption as a key factor in preventing dehydration in workers is a crucial aspect in the work environment. The body, which loses fluids through sweat, urine, and respiration, needs adequate fluid replacement to prevent dehydration. Heat stress can accelerate the dehydration process, where the body responds by producing sweat to regulate body temperature. Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between fluid intake, heat stress, and the hydration status of workers. Method: The method used in this article review is PRISMA-ScR. The publication language is English. The search was conducted through several scientific journal databases, including Scopus, Science Direct, PubMed, SpringerLink, EBSCO Host, and ProQuest, covering the period from 2013 to 2023. The process of selecting evidence sources in the initial identification yielded 21,403 articles, then through a selection process based on eligibility, topic relevance, and final assessment, eight evidence sources were selected through five stages of selection. Eligible and selected data sources are presented in a charting table. Results: The findings of this scoping review reveal that there is a connection between fluid intake, heat stress, and the hydration status of workers. The article highlights a strong correlation between fluid intake, heat stress, and hydration status in workers, emphasizing the importance of maintaining hydration balance. Conclusions: The findings suggest that while fluid intake is crucial, heat exposure can elevate the risk of dehydration, especially in hot indoor or outdoor environments.

Abstract

Work stress is a problem that is often faced by employees in various industrial sectors, including in the electricity sector. One of them is the electricity sector at the state-owned company PT X Site Jakarta Raya. Prolonged work stress can have a negative impact on employee performance and well-being. Work stress can cause physiological, psychological and behavioral changes in employees. Data shows that the resignation rate for employees at PT X is quite high. The significant rate of employee resignation in recent years shows that work stress is a problem that needs to be taken seriously. Therefore, this topic needs further research. This research aims to analyze the influence of mental workload and individual characteristics on work stress among employees at the state-owned company PT X Site Jakarta Raya. The method used in this research is quantitative with a purposive sampling technique. In this study there were 125 samples. Data was collected using standard questionnaires from the NIOSH Generic Job Stress Questionnaire (GJSQ) with 41 questions for work stress and NASA-TLX with 15 questions for mental workload. Next, the data was tested using T test analysis. The results of the T test hypothesis analysis show that mental workload (significance = 0.003) and marital status (significance = 0.006) have a significance value of <0.05. Therefore, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Conclusion: Mental workload and marital status have a partially significant influence on the dependent variable of work stress.

Abstract

The profession of dentistry is a job that is at risk of musculoskeletal disorders. Dentists often work in static and non-ergonomic positions for long periods of time, perform repetitive movements, and interact with patients in limited workspaces. A comprehensive understanding of the prevalence, location of complaints, and the most dominant risk factors is needed to develop effective prevention and intervention strategies to reduce musculoskeletal disorders. Objective to identify musculoskeletal disorders in dentists along with prevalence, pain areas and risk factors. The author used the PRISMA checklist to guide the selection of articles. The databases used were Science Direct and Scopus to search for academic articles published between 2020 and 2025 that met the predetermined content criteria with the keywords Musculoskeletal Disorders, Dentist, Dental, Prevalence, Work Related and Risk Factors. Initial findings based on keywords obtained 494 articles, then screening was carried out until 10 relevant articles to review. The prevalence of MSDs complaints reported in each article was between 58.3% - 93%. The highest pain areas in dentists were in the neck, lower back and shoulders. One of the most dominant risk factors is work posture. Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) are occupational health problems that are often experienced by dentists. Risk factors for MSDs are divided into individual characteristics, jobs, habits, and work environments. Interventions are needed to prevent MSDs in dentists such as ergonomic interventions and education since professional education.

Abstract

Budaya keselamatan pasien merupakah isu penting bagi manajemen rumah sakit dan faktor penting dalam penurunan kesalahan medis dan pengembangan suatu instansi, maka untuk meningkatkan keselamatan pasien di rumah sakit adalah dengan melakukan evaluasi budaya keselamatan pasien pada tenaga kesehatan. Tujuan dari kajian literatur ini adalah untuk menemukan hasil respon dan melakukan analisis positif dari penerapan budaya keselamatan dengan menggunakan metode Hospital Survey of Patient Safety Culture (HSOPSC) pada berbagai rumah sakit di negara lain. Database yang digunakan dalam pencarian data adalah Taylor & Francis Online: Peer-reviewed Journals, Science Direct, dan PubMed. Kata kunci yang digunakan dalam pencarian artikel penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut hospital survey of patient safety culture (HSOPSC), patient safety, dan safety culture. Pencarian artikel dengan tempat penelitian pada berbagai sektor kesehatan diberbagai negara dan jurnal yang telah terpublikasi dalam kurun waktu 5 tahun terakhir tahun 2019-2023. Setelah dilakukan penelusuran hingga pemilahan artikel jurnal maka didapatkan 5 judul artikel jurnal yang diambil dan sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil kaji literatur diketahui bahwa faktor yang mendukung implementasi budaya keselamatan pasien di rumah sakit antara lain adalah dukungan manajemen, respon non-punitive terhadap error, pembelajaran organisasi, staffing, ekspektasi supervisor atau manajer, kerjasama antar unit, dan kerjasama dalam unit. Sedangkan faktor yang menghambat yaitu pengaruh kondisi lingkungan dan kondisi pribadi, mental dan psikologis tenaga kesehatan dalam menjawab laporan dan hasil yang diperoleh, dan masalah pribadi yang berada diluar kendali hasil penelitian.

Abstract

Remaja merupakan masa pertumbuhan unik baik secara fisik, mental, psikologis, dan sosioemosional. Remaja di desa ini banyak mengalami permasalahan seperti ketergantungan gawai, perkelahian antar sesama remaja, kehamilan di luar nikah, hingga pernikahan dini. Tantangan kesehatan mental yang dialami pada masa remaja perlu disikapi dengan baik. Perlu solusi terhadap permasalahan yang terjadi pada remaja seperti program “Green Mind” yang bertujuan untuk mengoptimalisasi sumber daya remaja. Studi pengabdian ini adalah remaja di Desa Kalikayen, Jawa Tengah dengan subjek berjumlah 36 orang. Pelaksanaan kegiatan secara efektif dibagi menjadi beberapa tahap, yaitu inisiasi, inti, dan hilirisasi. Tingkat pengetahuan remaja terkait pengolahan sampah diukur menggunakan kuesioner. Uji pengaruh pelatihan pengolahan sampah pada remaja di Desa Kalikayen menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh sebelum dan sesudah diberikannya pelatihan dengan dibuktikan nilai p = 0,000. Pemberian pelatihan pada remaja dengan metode ceramah dan edukasi secara langsung memberikan hasil yang efektif dalam peningkatan pemahaman remaja. Ada peningkatan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah pemberian pelatihan pengolahan sampah. Pemberdayaan remaja melalui kegiatan pengolahan sampah memberikan manfaat yang baik dalam upaya meningkatkan kesehatan mental remaja. Mempersiapkan remaja sebagai generasi muda yang berkualitas harus dilakukan, untuk mencegah fenomena yang berdampak buruk bagi remaja. Pemberdayaan ke remaja berupa hal positif akan memberikan hasil yang baik untuk kedepannya.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Hydration status is a description of the conditions of workers when they lack fluid intake after work, one of which is due to the temperature of the workspace that exceeds the threshold value.This study aims to determine the effect of respondent characteristics and workspace temperature on hydration status in PT X metal foundry workers. This type of research is explanatory quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were PT X metal foundry workers, who were taken using purposive sampling technique, and obtained a sample of 69 people. Respondent data collection related to age, nutritional status, length of service, and volume of water intake using a questionnaire, workspace temperature data obtained through Questamp measurements, and hydration status data obtained through urine color tables. Data analysis included univariate analysis and bivariate analysis, using the spearman rank test and chi-square test. The results showed that the majority of workers were dehydrated. It was found that age, tenure, nutritional status, and heat had no correlation with hydration status. While between water intake and hydration status (p = 0.006) indicates that there is a relationship between the volume of water intake and hydration status, with the direction of the strength is not strong enough and a negative linear pattern. The conclusion obtained from this study is that there is an effect of hydration status on the volume of water intake with a negative correlation direction, while other independent variables are not related to the hydration status of metal foundry workers of PT X. Keywords: Heat Temperature, Hydration Status, Metal Casting

Abstract

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) adalah penyakit pada pergelangan tangan yang melalui terowongan karpal akibat dari terjepitnya saraf medianus. CTS dapat ditandai dengan keluhan nyeri tangan, dan lengan, kesemutan, mati rasa, serta disfungsi otot. Data National Health Interview Study (NIHS) memperkirakan sindrom metakarpal pada subjek dewasa mempunya angka prevalensi sebesar 1,55% atau 2,6 juta jiwa. Menganalisis faktor risiko Carpal Tunnel Syndrome pada pekerja. Menggunakan literature review yang diakses dari Science and Technology Index (SINTA) dan Pubmed NCBI dalam 10 tahun terakhir dengan menggunakan kata kunci Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Literature review menunjukkan bahwa faktor risiko Carpal Tunnel Syndrome pada pekerja adalah jenis kelamin, usia, indeks massa tubuh (IMT), lama kerja, masa kerja, gerakan berulang, postur pergelangan tangan, dan faktor kesehatan seperti merokok, minum alkohol, diabetes mellitus (DM), serta hipertensi.

Abstract

Background: The work environment of construction service companies in Indonesia is still not implementing Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of health promotion on PHBS in construction workers.Methods: This study used quasi-experimental with Pretest-Posttest Only Control Group Design. The sample consisted of 1 control group and 2 intervention groups, each with 63 samples taken using purposive sampling. The intervention was in the form of health promotion on PHBS with safety talk and peer as change agent methods for 21 days. Data analysis used Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for univariate analysis, Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test and Mann Whitney for bivariate analysis, and Manova test for multivariate analysis.Results: The results of the t-test showed a significant difference between PHBS with the health promotion model approach before the intervention between the safety talk and peer as change agent groups and the control group with a p value <0.05. The effectiveness test showed a difference in effectiveness between the safety talk method and peer as change agent on workers' PHBS with a health promotion model approach (P < 0.05).Conclusion: The safety talk method is more effective in improving perceptions of benefits, barriers, self-ability, attitudes towards PHBS activities, interpersonal influences, situations, and commitment to PHBS action plans compared to the peer as change agent method. However, the peer as change agent method is more effective in improving worker behavior compared to the safety talk method.

Abstract

Background: The majority of informal sector workers work in hazardous work fields and are not regulated by labor regulations. This condition places informal sector workers vulnerable to exposure to potential dangers. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is the final step that can be taken in controlling hazards that can be carried out in the informal sector.Purpose: To identify components that can influence workers' compliance behavior in using PPE in the informal sector.Method: This research uses a literature review study method with a search strategy for articles in research journals and searches via Google Scholar with a time period of 2022-2023 using the keywords Personal protective equipment (PPE), workers, and the informal sector. The search found 796 articles, then selected using PRISMA-ScR until 5 articles remained that matched the topic.Results: Informant compliance is still relatively low, this is proven by the results of observations and interviews which state that all informants have not fully used the required PPE when working. So there is a need to increase knowledge and attitudes regarding compliance with the use of PPE in the informal sector.Conclusion: Knowledge and attitudes are related to the behavior of using PPE in the informal sector. Workers with good knowledge and attitudes can prevent work-related accidents and work-related diseases from occurring.Suggestion: Collaboration with related parties, such as government agencies, workers' organizations and companies, to increase awareness and implementation of the use of PPE in the informal sector. Keywords: Informal Sector; Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); Worker. Pendahuluan: Pekerja sektor informal mayoritas bekerja pada bidang pekerjaan yang berbahaya dan tidak diatur dalam peraturan ketenagakerjaan. Kondisi ini menempatkan pekerja sektor informal rentan akan paparan bahaya yang dapat terjadi. Alat pelindung diri (APD) merupakan langkah terakhir yang dapat dilakukan dalam pengendalian bahaya yang dapat dilakukan di sektor informal.Tujuan: Untuk mengidentifikasi komponen yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku kepatuhan pekerja menggunakan APD dalam sektor informal.Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literature review dengan strategi pencarian artikel pada jurnal penelitian dan pencarian melalui Google Scholar dengan rentang waktu 2022-2023 menggunakan kata kunci Alat pelindung diri (APD), pekerja, dan sektor informal. Pencarian tersebut ditemukan 796 artikel, kemudian diseleksi menggunakan PRISMA-ScR hingga tersisa 5 artikel yang sesuai dengan topik.Hasil: Kepatuhan informan masih tergolong rendah, hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil observasi dan wawancara yang menyatakan bahwa seluruh informan tidak lengkap menggunakan APD yang diwajibkan saat bekerja. Sehingga perlu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap yang berhubungan dengan kepatuhan penggunaan APD pada sektor informal.Simpulan: Pengetahuan dan sikap berhubungan dengan perilaku penggunaan APD pada sektor informal. Pekerja dengan pengetahuan dan sikap yang baik dapat mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan akibat kerja dan penyakit akibat kerja yang dapat terjadi.Saran: Adanya kerjasama dengan pihak terkait, seperti lembaga pemerintah, organisasi pekerja, dan perusahaan, untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan penerapan penggunaan APD di sektor informal. Kata Kunci: Alat Pelindung Diri (APD); Pekerja; Sektor Informal.
