Abstract

Thinking skill is one of the skills that must be possessed by elementary school students. This research aims to improve students' creative thinking skills using science, technology, engineering, and mathematics learning models. The method used in this research is the classroom action research method. This method has four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 27 students, consisting of 15 male students and 12 female students. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. The research instrument used was the teacher activity observation sheet and the student activity observation sheet. The results of this research indicate that there is an increase in students' creative thinking skills from pre-action to cycle 1 by 10.75%. The increase in students' creative thinking skills also occurred in cycle 1 to cycle 2 by 8.24%. The application of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics learning models can improve students' overall creative thinking skills by 18.99%. Therefore, this research can be used as a reference for teachers in implementing science learning to apply science, technology, engineering, and mathematics learning models so that students become more active in participating in learning and can facilitate the needs of elementary school students in improving their thinking skills.

Abstract

: Science and numeracy skills are part of basic literacy skills that must be mastered by students. Both of these abilities are included in the ability to think intermediate to high-level thinking skills. Students must begin to be invited to think at a medium to high level so that these two abilities can develop and improve optimally. This research aims to measure how much influence the learning models of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics have on the science and numeracy skills of madrasah ibtidaiyah students. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method. The data collection technique used was a student's science and numeracy ability test. The research instrument used was a student's science and numeracy test sheet. The results of the research show that the learning models of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics have a significant effect on the science and numeracy abilities of fifth grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Therefore, this research can be a reference in applying science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics learning models that can affect students' science and numeracy skills.

Abstract

Social Service coaching is one of the ways used by the Social Service to control dropout students to return to school. This research aims to measure how much influence the Social Service coaching has on the cognitive and affective abilities of dropout students at the primary education level. The method used in this research is the quasi-experimental method. This method has nine stages, namely: literature review, identifying and limiting the research problem, developing research hypotheses, creating a research design, conducting pretests, conducting experiments, conducting post-tests, processing and analysing data, and drawing conclusions. The research sample totalled 30 students, consisting of 15 students in the experimental class and 15 students in the control class. The data collection techniques used were cognitive and affective tests. The results showed that the application of Social Service coaching had a significant effect on the cognitive and affective abilities of dropout students. Coaching dropout students must continue to be carried out so that they want to return to school and achieve their goals.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the thematic learning based on spiritual intelligence of elementary school students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method, with pre-field, field, and data analysis steps. The data sources were the fifth-grade teacher and all fifth-grade students of SDN 007 Tambusai, totaling 26 students consisting of 14 male students and 12 female students. Data collection techniques used are documentation, observation, and interviews. The research instrument used was teacher observation sheets, student observation sheets, and interview guidelines. The data analysis technique was carried out by qualitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that the thematic learning based on spiritual intelligence of elementary school students was in the very high category. The conclusion of this research is that the thematic learning based on students' spiritual intelligence is classified as very high because teachers who apply thematic learning in elementary schools have an Islamic religious education background. Teachers must be role models and must also assist students in formulating their vision and mission of life in the future.

Abstract

Continuous mentoring is one of the ways that principals maintain and improve teacher competence. This research aims to measure how much influence ongoing mentoring has on the social competence and professional competence of teachers at public primary school 12 Selatpanjang Selatan. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental method. This method has nine stages, namely: literature review, identifying and limiting the research problem, developing research hypotheses, creating a research design, conducting pretests, conducting experiments, conducting post-tests, processing and analysing data, and drawing conclusions. The research sample totalled 10 teachers, consisting of 5 teachers in the experimental class and 5 teachers in the control class. The data collection techniques used were teacher social and professional competence tests. The results showed that the implementation of sustainable mentoring had a significant effect on the social and professional competence of experimental class primary school teachers. Continuous mentoring must continue to be carried out regularly so that the other two teacher competencies can be improved better.

Abstract

Koordinasi layanan pendidikan merupakan salah satu tugas koordinator wilayah kecamatan bidang pendidikan untuk memetakan kualitas pendidikan di kecamatan yang dipimpinnya. Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengukur seberapa besar pengaruh koordinasi layanan pendidikan yang dilakukan koordinator wilayah kecamatan bidang pendidikan terhadap kualitas pendidikan dasar di kecamatan Bantan kabupaten Bengkalis. Metode yang digunakan pada riset ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen. Metode ini memiliki sembilan tahapan, yaitu: tinjauan literatur, mengidentifikasi dan membatasi masalah riset, mengembangkan hipotesis riset, membuat desain riset, melakukan pretes, melakukan percobaan, melakukan postes, pengolahan dan analisis data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sampel riset berjumlah 34 orang guru, terdiri dari 17 orang guru di kelas eksperimen dan 17 guru di kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah observasi kualitas guru. Instrumen riset yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi kualitas guru. Hasil riset  menunjukan bahwa koordinasi layanan pendidikan yang dilakukan koordinator wilayah kecamatan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas pendidikan dasar di kecamatan Bantan kabupaten Bengkalis. Kualitas pendidikan dasar ini tercermin dari kualitas guru yang sedang studi lanjut magister pendidikan dasar dengan jumlah 11 orang guru dari jenjang sekolah dasar dan 6 orang guru dari jenjang sekolah menegah pertama.

Abstract

Teacher competence is the ability of teachers consisting of personal, social, pedagogic, and professional abilities related to the profession they carry. This teacher competency is measured through a teacher certification program. Teacher certificates can be obtained in several ways, depending on the year the teacher was certified. This study aims to describe the competence of teachers who have been certified through professional teacher education and training, especially in learning natural sciences in primary schools. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. This method has three stages, namely: the description stage, the reduction stage, and the selection stage. The research data sources are seven teachers who have been certified through education and professional training for teachers. Data collection techniques used are documentation and observation. The research instrument used was a lesson plan document that had been made by the teacher and an observation sheet on the implementation of natural science learning carried out by the teacher in the classroom. The results of the study can show that teachers who are certified through professional teacher education and training have competence in making lesson plans and implementing natural science learning in the sufficient criteria. Therefore, this research can be used as a reference in maintaining the competence of certified teachers through professional teacher education and training by making lesson plans and assessing their abilities when carrying out classroom learning. The competence of certified teachers needs to be maintained regularly.

Abstract

Supervision of the sub-district area coordinator in the field of education is one way that can be done to assess the quality of primary education in the area concerned. This research aims to measure how much influence the supervision carried out by the sub-district coordinator has on the quality of primary education in the Bengkalis sub-district, Bengkalis district. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method. The results of the research show that the supervision carried out by the sub-district coordinator has a significant effect on the quality of primary education in the Bengkalis sub-district, Bengkalis district. The quality of primary education is reflected in the quality of teachers who are continuing their master's degree in primary education with a total of 23 teachers from the elementary school level and 3 teachers from the junior high school level. Certified teachers should continue their studies to the master level of primary education so that the quality of the teacher concerned can improve and generally improve the quality of primary education in their respective sub-districts.

Abstract

Penyuluhan cara mereview artikel jurnal menggunakan artificial intelligence sangat penting untuk dilakukan mengingat semakin maraknya berbagai macam artificial intelligence diberbagai bidang, termasuk bidang pendidikan. Artificial intelligence ini dipercaya dapat membantu pekerjaan manusia pada beberapa hal. Pendidikan masyarakat menjadi metode pengabdian ini dilakukan. Penyuluhan dilalui enam tahapan, yaitu: penyuluh melakukan penyuluhan, penyuluhan berisi aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap bagaimana cara mereview artikel jurnal menggunakan artificial intelligence, penyuluhan diharapkan menunjukan perubahan perilaku dan tindakan nyata yang berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas guru jenjang pendidikan dasar. Penyuluhan cara mereview artikel jurnal menggunakan artificial intelligence ini mempermudah guru-guru jenjang pendidikan dasar saat mereview artikel yang dijadikan sebagai salah satu bahan sumber belajar yang akan diberikan pada siswa di kelas. Penyuluhan ini harus terus dilakukan secara berkesinambungan agar kualitas guru-guru jenjang pendidikan dasar dapat terus meningkat terutama dalam mengimplementasikan artificial intelligence pada tugas kesehariannya. Periset lanjutan bisa mengupayakan riset berkaitan dengan implementasi terkait efisiensi dan efektivitas artificial intelligence bagi guru jenjang lainnya.

Abstract

Isu-isu pokok penelitian ini adalah bagaimana lingkungan belajar mempengaruhi prestasi siswa. Pemecahan masalah diakui sebagai keterampilan hidup yang melibatkan berbagai proses termasuk menganalisis, menafsirkan, penalaran, memprediksi, dan mengevaluasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar berbasis pemecahan masalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan belajar siswa sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam pembelajaran IPA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian eksperimen. Dalam penelitian ini, berupa kegiatan dan masalah yang dipraktikkan oleh siswa untuk melanjutkan fase pemecahan masalah Polya. Sepanjang penelitian, keberhasilan siswa kelompok eksperimen didasarkan pada lingkungan belajar yang dilakukan, sedangkan siswa kelompok kontrol melanjutkan kehadiran mereka dalam program ini. Sebelas kegiatan pemecahan masalah diberikan kepada siswa di awal, tengah, dan akhir belajar juga penampilan siswa dianalisis berdasarkan tahap pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan siswa kelompok eksperimen menggambarkan peningkatan dalam aktivitas pemecahan masalah secara signifikan, sedangkan kelompok kontrol tidak berubah secara signifikan
