Abstract

Rising global inflation in 2024-2025 poses significant challenges for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with literature analysis to explore government policies in increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs in the global market. The results of the study show that a comprehensive government strategy has had a positive impact on MSMEs in entering the international market. Cooperation between the government, MSME actors, and other stakeholders is urgently needed to create an ecosystem that supports the growth of MSMEs. The government needs to increase access to financing by providing credit programs that are affordable and easily accessible to MSMEs. In addition, support for the adoption of digital technologies, such as e-commerce and digital marketing, is crucial in expanding market reach. Training and skill development programs for MSME employees are also needed to improve the quality of human resources. Coordination between institutions must be improved to minimize inflation risks, as well as increase the transparency of inflation data to provide accurate information to the public. Sustainable and targeted policy implementation will maintain economic stability and encourage MSMEs to compete globally. Thus, the right government policies can strengthen the position of Indonesian MSMEs in the international market despite rising inflation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the process of diffusion of innovation in the implementation of hygiene programs in Bangkalan Regency, to understand how hygiene innovations are accepted and adopted by the local community as well as the challenges faced in the cleanliness program implemented by the Bangkalan Initiative Community, to find out how much influence the success and failure of diffusion of hygiene innovations, including public awareness, limitations of infrastructure,  and participation in environmental cleanliness programs. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative research type. The types and sources of information used in this study are using 2 types, namely primary data and secondary data. Initial information obtained from the first source of information or field hands, then we obtained this secondary information based on observations from podcasts along with documentation on Bangkalan social media initiatives such as: YouTobe, Instagram, and Tik Tok. The results of the study show that although there are a number of efforts to increase public awareness and provide hygiene facilities, the low level of community participation and limited human resources (HR) are still the main obstacles. Therefore, a more interactive innovation diffusion strategy that involves direct community participation in each stage of the program is urgently needed to increase the effectiveness and reach the cleanliness program in Bangkalan. This study provides recommendations for improvements in the design and implementation of a more inclusive and sustainable hygiene program. The Bangkalan program initiative has a great impact in the field of cleanliness, especially the Bangkalan community. The first step in the process of diffusion of innovation in the Bangkalan cleanliness initiative is the role of education, especially educators, which is the main factor.

Abstract

Heutagogy approach is the development of andragogy learning which focuses on students’ self-determined learning. This approach can be used as an alternative for distance learning. To support the learning process, an e-module based on heutagogy is needed. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to create and analyze the effectiveness of E-Module in Mathematics Economic based on the Heutagogy Approach in distance learning. Research design used 4-D model consists of define, design, develop, and desseminate stages. Examining the E-module effectiveness was using experiment research with one group pre-test-post-test design which involved 66 students of Economics Education as participants. Data collection are carried out with questionnaire and analyzed with several test, namely: Kolmogorov-Smirnov Normality Test, Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The results of this study revealed that: 1) E-module of mathematics economic using Heutagogy Approach feasible as learning media, 2) there is an effect of using E-module of Mathematics Economic using Heutagogy Approach for Distance Learning. E-module can increases students learning outcomes and helps them to study independently during distance learning. For future research, it is suggested to analyze another variabels, such as: students’ critical thinking skills and students’ logical- mathematical thinking ability.

Abstract

Plagiarism remains a major challenge in higher education, undermining academic integrity and scientific standards. This study explores the dual role of Turnitin as a detection tool and learning resource in promoting academic integrity and improving students' writing skills in Indonesia. Using a survey method on a proportional stratification sample of 91 students of the State University of Surabaya, this study analyzed students' perception of plagiarism and their experience using Turnitin. The results show a high awareness of plagiarism, but there is a significant gap in the understanding of correct citation practices, exacerbated by cultural and infrastructure challenges. Turnitin is seen as a valuable tool, especially when integrated within a broader pedagogical framework, but limited access and training hinder its full potential. The study highlights Turnitin's contribution to fostering academic ethics and its impact on writing quality, while also highlighting the need for a comprehensive education strategy to address fundamental challenges. Practical implications include recommendations for better integration of antiplagiarism software in curricula, training for lecturers, and policy development to build a culture of academic integrity.
