Abstract

This research focuses on the problems found in class V SDN 134 Panorama, where students have not shown maximum results regarding the learning material of pe- affixed words. The average class score indicates a fairly low number, which is 60.3. This is due to the incompatibility of the PBL model applied with the needs of students and the pe- affix material taught. This study focuses on improving students' ability to write pe- affix sentences by applying the Teams Games Tournament type cooperative learning model in class V of SDN 134 Panorama. The methodology implemented is Collaborative Classroom Action Research, which includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection in two cycles, each with two meetings involving 22 learners. The data of this research is presented in a descriptive qualitative design. Based on the results of the study, there was significant progress in the learners' ability to write pe- affixed sentences. After implementing the intervention in one cycle, there was an increase in the learners' average score from 60 to 83.33 in the first cycle, and increased to 90.90 in the second cycle. This finding indicates that the application of the Teams Games Tournament type cooperative learning model succeeded in improving the ability to write pe- affixed sentences of students in class V SDN 134 Panorama.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas Metode GASING (Gampang, Asik, dan Menyenangkan) dalam meningkatkan kompetensi numerasi guru dan siswa di Kabupaten Teluk Wondama, Papua Barat sebagai salah satu daerah Terdepan, Terluar, dan Tertinggal (3T) di Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental tipe one-group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 46 guru dan 96 siswa sekolah dasar yang mengikuti program intensif selama tiga minggu (10–30 Juni 2025). Instrumen penelitian berupa tes tertulis yang mengukur lima kompetensi dasar berhitung, yaitu Bakal Kubagi, penjumlahan, perkalian, pengurangan, dan pembagian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan, ditandai dengan kenaikan rata-rata skor guru dari 32,33 menjadi 79,83 dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,702 (kategori tinggi), serta peningkatan rata-rata skor siswa dari 10,51 menjadi 75,51 dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,727 (kategori tinggi). Hasil uji Paired Sample t-Test menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik (α = 0,05) pada seluruh kompetensi yang diukur. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Metode GASING efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi melalui pendekatan bertahap konkrit–abstrak–komputasi mental yang dikemas secara interaktif dan menyenangkan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi empiris bagi pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan berbasis bukti di daerah 3T, serta menegaskan pentingnya intervensi terpadu yang menyasar guru dan siswa dalam satu ekosistem pembelajaran. Abstrak: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of GASING Method (Easy, Fun, and Enjoyable) in improving numeracy competencies among teachers and students in Teluk Wondama Regency, West Papua one of Indonesia's underdeveloped frontier regions. Using a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design, the study involved 46 teachers and 96 students from various primary schools who participated in a three-week intensive program (10–30 June 2025). The research instruments consisted of written arithmetic tests covering five core competencies: Basic Number Sense (Bakal Kubagi), Addition, Multiplication, Subtraction, and Division. Results demonstrated highly significant improvements: teachers' mean scores increased from 32.33 (pre-test) to 79.83 (post-test) with an N-Gain of 0.702 (High category), while students' mean scores rose from 10.51 (pre-test) to 75.51 (diagnostic test) with an N-Gain of 0.727 (High category). Paired Sample t-Test analyses revealed statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) across all measured competencies. Both groups' N-Gain scores substantially exceeded the international average of 0.34 reported in comparable intervention studies (Westphale et al., 2022). These findings demonstrate that the GASING Method with its sequential concrete–abstract–mental computation approach delivered through playful, interactive activities is an effective and replicable solution for addressing the numeracy crisis in Indonesia's remote regions. This research contributes to evidence-based education policy development in underserved areas and reinforces the importance of integrated interventions targeting both teachers and students simultaneously within a unified learning ecosystem.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesian primary schools remains understudied from multiperspective evaluation standpoints, particularly in non-pilot district schools. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at the fifth grade of elementary schools, through a qualitative descriptive single case study design. Data were collected via semi-structured interviews with teachers, the principal, three students, and one parent; one full-cycle classroom observation using a 16-indicator structured sheet; and documentary analysis of ten institutional documents including lesson modules, learning pathway documents (ATP), diagnostic assessment instruments, and student report cards. Results indicate that teachers have developed learning tools aligned with Capaian Pembelajaran (CP), implemented differentiated instruction and project-based learning (P5), and adopted descriptive, competency-based assessment. The principal provided systematic support through training, supervision, and community learning facilitation. Students demonstrated increased engagement, confidence, and creativity. However, three key challenges were identified: suboptimal utilization of diagnostic assessment data for instructional differentiation, limited teacher creativity under time pressure, and partially implemented critical thinking facilitation. This study concludes that effective Merdeka Curriculum implementation requires sustained teacher professional development, strong institutional leadership, and continuous multi-stakeholder collaboration.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media QRTURAL CARD dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik Fase C dalam materi “Keragaman Budaya Indonesiaku” pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif Pre-eksperimental Design dengan desain One Group Pre-test-Post-test Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 26 peserta didik fase C di SDN Kecamatan Bojongloa Kaler. Teknik pengambilan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik test berupa pre-test dan post-test. Instrumen tes yang digunakan adalah tes berupa pilihan ganda sebanyak 12 soal yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis. Uji prasyarat dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji normalitas, sedangkan uji hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dan uji terhadap skor N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada uji normalitas menggunakan uji shapiro-wilk menunjukan data pre-test berdistribusi normal karena nilai sig. sebesar 0,207 > 0,05 dan post-test menunjukan bahwa nilai sig. sebesar 0,095>0,05 yang dimana diketahui bahwa kedua hasil pre-test dan post-test berdistribusi normal. Hasil uji paired sample t-test diperoleh nilai sig (2-tailed) adalah 0,00 < 0,05 maka maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang artinya terdapat efektivitas media QRTURAL CARD dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Selanjutnya yaitu uji perbedaan terhadap skor N-Gain untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas media diperoleh nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,60 yang termasuk kategori sedang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat efektivitas media QRTURAL CARD dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep materi “Keragaman Budaya Indonesiaku” pada pendidikan Pancasila Fase C dengan taraf pada kagetogi cukup efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengembangkan produk E-LKPD berbasis Articulate Storyline pada peserta didik kelas III SD. Pengembangan produk dilakukan karena adanya masalah pada kelas III berupa hasil belajar yang kurang pada materi pengukuran. Penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian R&D model Borg and Gall sampai dengan langkah kedelapan, yaitu: penelitian pendahuluan, pengembangan desain produk awal, validasi, revisi desain produk awal, uji coba penggunaan, revisi desain produk, dan uji coba keefektifan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, angket, dan tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kevalidan melalui hasil validasi produk, analisis keefektifan dengan independent sample t-test dan uji keefektifan relatif, serta analisis kepraktisan melalui angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: kevalidan produk adalah 93,33 dengan kategori sangat layak; terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas yang menggunakan E-LKPD berbasis Articulate Storyline dengan yang menggunakan LKPD lainnya dengan nilai keefektifan relatif 57,06% yang dipengaruhi oleh produk pengembangan yang berarti 42,94% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya; kepraktisan produk adalah 91,22 dengan kategori sangat praktis.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of digital literacy in Indonesian language learning through argumentative paragraph writing in elementary school students. The research was conducted with fourth-grade students using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through student worksheets involving topic selection. Searching for information online, and composing paragraphs based on personal opinions. The results show that students were able to independently access digital information and use it to support their arguments in writing. This activity encouraged students to think critically, express their opinions, and construct simple argumentative texts. Integrating digital literacy into Indonesian language learning has proven to provide a more meaningful and relevant learning experience in line with current developments.

Abstract

The multiliteracy Edukit integrates reading, writing, critical thinking, and authentic production into a single elementary classroom session. Purpose: To compare Indonesian and Malaysian elementary teachers’ perceptions across five acceptance dimensions: Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Curriculum Fit (CF), School Support (SS), and Behavioral intention (BI). Methods: A comparative survey of 30 teachers (Indonesia n=15; Malaysia n=15) used a validated 22 item, five point Likert questionnaire; per dimension reliability was adequate (α≥0.70). Mann–Whitney tests were applied to each indicator with effect size r reported. Results: Indonesian teachers scored higher across all dimensions, with 17 of 22 indicators significantly different (p<0.05). PEOU was the strongest discriminator (r≈0.60), followed by CF (r≈0.52), and SS showed the smallest difference (r≈0.32). The findings indicate that curriculum context and institutional support shape teachers’ acceptance of Edukit. Conclusion: Acceptance was driven by ease of use, curriculum alignment, and school support. Implementation strategies must align with the characteristics of Indonesia’s Kurikulum Merdeka and Malaysia’s KSSR. Implications: Strengthening training, aligning teaching/assessment artefacts, and ensuring access to simple materials are necessary to sustain adoption. Limitations: small, perception based sample; future studies should expand the sample and assess the impact on student outcomes.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan kajian setelah melaksanakan pengabdian pada masyarakat di Kecamatan Ciater Kabupaten Subang kerjasama Tim Literasi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan - UPI, dengan Dairy Development in Ciater Program dan Yayasan Sahabat Cipta. Kegiatan kerja sama terdiri dari empat macam, yakni: 1) Pembuatan modul metode bercerita untuk anak usia sekolah dasar. 2) Pembuatan permainan anak-anak untuk anak usia sekolah dasar. 3) Pembuatan lagu anak-anak untuk anak usia sekolah dasar, dan 3) Pelaksanaan Training of Trainers (TOT) untuk para guru sekolah dasar se-Kecamatan Ciater. Hasil pengabdian berupa dua buah buku berjudul, Teori dan Praktik Story Telling untuk Sekolah Dasar, dan Panduan Permainan & Bernyanyi di Sekolah Dasar, serta makalah tentang metode bercerita, jenis-jenis permainan dan lagu anak-anak untuk sekolah dasar kelas rendah (Kelas I, II, dan III), dan kelas tinggi (IV, V, dan VI). Dampak dari pengabdian masyarakat ini terbangunnya apresiasi sastra yang tinggi baik pada guru maupun pada siswa sekolah dasar serta adanya kesadaran tentang pentingnya memiliki dan memelihara peternakan hewan peliharaan serta memelihara lingkungan yang sehat dan asri.
