Abstract

Learning English is important in this era. English as an international language will be used globally to build up the relation and connection with the other countries. English has a lot of grammar elements that are very important to note in order to be used appropriately. In Indonesian, we do not know so many grammatical elements so that when learning English mistakes in grammar are common. It also becomes very critical if English learners cannot distinguish every word or sentence that is heard through movie or music. This research is a descriptive research. In this research, the data is a kind of text, thus the writer uses the documentation technique. The steps of doing this research are: Identifying, Classifying, Interpreting, Describing, and Concluding: the writer finds the conclusion and gives the suggestions. The result of this research, there are several grammatical errors in songs such as Conditional Sentence, Subject-Verb Agreement, Pronoun, Negator and Auxiliary Verbs.

Abstract

The difference between English and Indonesia language become one of the hardest things to learn and to be understood. It could be seen by the grammar of the language and the system of communication between both languages. The aim of this study is to identify the difference and the similarity sentence between English and Indonesia Language and analysis contrastive between both languages. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach to find out the contrast between both of them. the sample in this study were 20 students of English Department Students in Victory University, especially the 2nd Semester. The result of this study was the main error of the students was in Declarative Sentence (DS), Negative Sentence (NS), Interrogative Sentence (IS) and Exclamatory Sentence (ES) i.e 92.86%. Based on the research, we found out that the students did those errors because the pattern of those sentences are different whereas the Imperative Sentence (IMS) has the same pattern with English.

Abstract

The unification of education and social affairs is an integration and efficiency technique so that the object, namely KMBKS youth, can learn English with fun while studying Papuan culture. Community Service Method for Learning English through the implementation of Productive, Active, Creative English (PACE) Learning using animated English learning videos which can also be studied through the English Online Study Room, Papuan Socio-Cultural based for English language training and awareness: cultural introduction Papua. At the end of this activity, the result was that there was an increase in English language skills as measured by the Pre-Test and Post-Test. Based on the Kahoot results, participants were very enthusiastic and enthusiastic about carrying out PACE activities during the specified time. This community service activity is a real effort to increase the harmony of life between ethnic groups living in Sorong City and also improve the English language skills of the youth of the KMBKS tribe. This activity also trains participants to learn independently, improve social relationships and motivate one's life goals.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memegang peranan penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia, termasuk dalam penciptaan lapangan kerja dan kontribusi terhadap Produk Domestik. Salah satu contohnya adalah UMKM Roti Kembar Store yang bergerak di bidang produksi makanan ringan. Meskipun telah beroperasi sejak 2016 dan memiliki produk yang diminati pasar lokal, UMKM ini masih menggunakan strategi pemasaran konvensional. Di era digital, pemanfaatan teknologi informasi menjadi faktor kunci dalam pengembangan usaha, terutama dalam hal pemasaran dan komunikasi dengan konsumen. Digitalisasi melalui platform marketplace dan website menjadi peluang strategis untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar. Namun, transformasi digital juga membawa tantangan, salah satunya adalah pentingnya literasi hukum digital, seperti perlindungan data pribadi, transaksi elektronik, dan hak kekayaan intelektual. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman pelaku UMKM terhadap hukum digital menjadi aspek penting untuk mendukung keberlanjutan dan kredibilitas usaha di ranah online. Pentingnya integrasi teknologi digital dan literasi hukum sebagai strategi penguatan daya saing UMKM di era transformasi digital.

Abstract

Berbicara merupakan keterampilan fundamental dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris yang memungkinkan mahasiswa mengekspresikan ide, gagasan, dan perasaan secara efektif dalam konteks komunikatif. Namun, banyak pembelajar bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa asing (EFL) mengalami kesulitan dalam berbicara yang disebabkan oleh kecemasan, rendahnya kepercayaan diri, keterbatasan kosakata, serta kurangnya kesempatan untuk berlatih secara terstruktur. Oleh karena itu, integrasi media pembelajaran digital diperlukan untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih fleksibel, menarik, dan mendukung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara mahasiswa melalui penggunaan vlogging sebagai teknologi pembelajaran digital serta menginterpretasikan penerimaan mahasiswa terhadap teknologi tersebut berdasarkan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang dikombinasikan dengan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research/CAR). Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 50 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Victory Sorong yang mengikuti mata kuliah Speaking 1 dan Speaking 3. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes performa berbicara yang meliputi pre-test, tes formatif pada Siklus 1, dan post-test pada Siklus 2. Performa berbicara mahasiswa dinilai oleh dosen pengampu mata kuliah menggunakan rubrik penilaian yang mencakup aspek kelancaran, pengucapan, kosakata, tata bahasa, dan kepercayaan diri. Analisis penerimaan penggunaan vlogging dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan mengacu pada konstruk TAM, yaitu persepsi kegunaan (perceived usefulness) dan persepsi kemudahan penggunaan (perceived ease of use). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berbicara mahasiswa secara bertahap, dengan nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 68 pada pre-test menjadi 75 pada Siklus 1 dan mencapai 82 pada post-test. Mahasiswa menunjukkan peningkatan pada aspek kelancaran, kepercayaan diri, dan pengorganisasian ide. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa vlogging efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara dan diterima secara positif oleh mahasiswa, sehingga relevan dan adaptif sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran digital di perguruan tinggi

Abstract

The development of information technology requires the younger generation to not only have digital skills, but also strong character based on moral and religious values. This community service activity aims to shape the digital character of students at Nusantara Junior High School in Sorong City through computer network cabling training combined with the instillation of values of discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and integrity as socio-religious values. The implementation of the activity included needs assessment, socialization, material delivery, practical training, and evaluation. The training focused on introducing network devices, protocol configure, cabling techniques using UTP cables, installing RJ-45 connectors, using crimping pliers, and testing the results using a LAN tester. The results of the activity show that students not only understand the basic concepts of computer networks and are able to carry out cabling practices independently, but also show an increase in positive attitudes such as accuracy, teamwork, and discipline during the training process. This activity shows that combining digital literacy and religious values can be an effective strategy in shaping students' digital character while improving their technical competence in the technological era.

Abstract

The student empowerment program through computer network cabling training at SMA Usdatara was implemented to enhance technological competence while strengthening social solidarity within the school environment. From the perspective of sociology of education, this activity not only focused on developing students’ technical skills but also emphasized collaboration, interaction, and the formation of positive social relationships throughout the learning process. The program was carried out by a team of university students through stages of observation, socialization, training, and evaluation, engaging participants actively in hands-on cable assembly, device introduction, and group-based practice. The results indicate that the training generated dual impacts. In terms of technological competence, students gained a better understanding of basic computer network concepts and were able to practice proper cabling techniques. Socially, the activity enhanced solidarity through teamwork, peer assistance, and cooperative communication during practical sessions. The interactions between university students and high school participants also demonstrated a dialogical and participatory learning process, in which social experiences played an essential role. Overall, this program shows that technology-based empowerment can simultaneously serve as a means of fostering constructive social bonds within the school community
