Abstract

Learning English is important in this era. English as an international language will be used globally to build up the relation and connection with the other countries. English has a lot of grammar elements that are very important to note in order to be used appropriately. In Indonesian, we do not know so many grammatical elements so that when learning English mistakes in grammar are common. It also becomes very critical if English learners cannot distinguish every word or sentence that is heard through movie or music. This research is a descriptive research. In this research, the data is a kind of text, thus the writer uses the documentation technique. The steps of doing this research are: Identifying, Classifying, Interpreting, Describing, and Concluding: the writer finds the conclusion and gives the suggestions. The result of this research, there are several grammatical errors in songs such as Conditional Sentence, Subject-Verb Agreement, Pronoun, Negator and Auxiliary Verbs.

Abstract

The difference between English and Indonesia language become one of the hardest things to learn and to be understood. It could be seen by the grammar of the language and the system of communication between both languages. The aim of this study is to identify the difference and the similarity sentence between English and Indonesia Language and analysis contrastive between both languages. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach to find out the contrast between both of them. the sample in this study were 20 students of English Department Students in Victory University, especially the 2nd Semester. The result of this study was the main error of the students was in Declarative Sentence (DS), Negative Sentence (NS), Interrogative Sentence (IS) and Exclamatory Sentence (ES) i.e 92.86%. Based on the research, we found out that the students did those errors because the pattern of those sentences are different whereas the Imperative Sentence (IMS) has the same pattern with English.

Abstract

The unification of education and social affairs is an integration and efficiency technique so that the object, namely KMBKS youth, can learn English with fun while studying Papuan culture. Community Service Method for Learning English through the implementation of Productive, Active, Creative English (PACE) Learning using animated English learning videos which can also be studied through the English Online Study Room, Papuan Socio-Cultural based for English language training and awareness: cultural introduction Papua. At the end of this activity, the result was that there was an increase in English language skills as measured by the Pre-Test and Post-Test. Based on the Kahoot results, participants were very enthusiastic and enthusiastic about carrying out PACE activities during the specified time. This community service activity is a real effort to increase the harmony of life between ethnic groups living in Sorong City and also improve the English language skills of the youth of the KMBKS tribe. This activity also trains participants to learn independently, improve social relationships and motivate one's life goals.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memegang peranan penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia, termasuk dalam penciptaan lapangan kerja dan kontribusi terhadap Produk Domestik. Salah satu contohnya adalah UMKM Roti Kembar Store yang bergerak di bidang produksi makanan ringan. Meskipun telah beroperasi sejak 2016 dan memiliki produk yang diminati pasar lokal, UMKM ini masih menggunakan strategi pemasaran konvensional. Di era digital, pemanfaatan teknologi informasi menjadi faktor kunci dalam pengembangan usaha, terutama dalam hal pemasaran dan komunikasi dengan konsumen. Digitalisasi melalui platform marketplace dan website menjadi peluang strategis untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar. Namun, transformasi digital juga membawa tantangan, salah satunya adalah pentingnya literasi hukum digital, seperti perlindungan data pribadi, transaksi elektronik, dan hak kekayaan intelektual. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman pelaku UMKM terhadap hukum digital menjadi aspek penting untuk mendukung keberlanjutan dan kredibilitas usaha di ranah online. Pentingnya integrasi teknologi digital dan literasi hukum sebagai strategi penguatan daya saing UMKM di era transformasi digital.
