Abstract

This study intended to build a character education model in an elementary school using traditional games based on the Socratic Method. This study used design-based research (DBR), with five experts helping to validate the character education model using a model evaluation instrument and 26 students participating in the model trial. As a result, the developed model comprises six elements: focus, syntax, reaction principles, social system, support system, and application. Meanwhile, the syntax, which consists of four steps: the initial stage, the transition stage, the working stage, and the termination stage, is the core of this model. Experts strongly agree that the model is in the "highly appropriate" category for fostering character development in elementary school students. There is a Socratic method in the developed syntax that encourages students to analyze the characters they encounter in traditional games. The study concludes that the proposed model can help students build character in elementary schools. Furthermore, this model can introduce and revive traditional games in Indonesia as part of the country's cultural heritage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari tahu perilaku konsumen dalam pertimbangan pembelian tiket melalui KAI Access berdasarkan kualitas jasa, citra merek, persepsi harga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang bersifat desktiptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling technique dan didapat sampel sebanyak 44 responden yang merupakan konsumen dari PT. KAI. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data adalah kuisioner. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa lebih dari 50% responden menyetujui terkait dengan kemudahan akses, kualitas informasi, pelayanan, citra merek, persepsi harga lebih baik dari penyedia tiket lainnya. Faktor yang menyebabkan responden memesan tiket dari aplikasi atau dari website itu kebanyakan dari faktor psikologis konsumen. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa kualitas E services KAI Access berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian tiket. Kemampuan inovasi dan pelayanan prima menjadi salah satu aspek penting dalam meningkatkan penjualan pada suatu perusahaan.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the student traveled distance and pulse rate in the implementation of technical learning model in Physical Education subject. The descriptive method was used to obtain information and descriptions of the traveled distance and pulse rate of students during Physical Education learning. Participants involved in this study were 30 students (12-13 years), but only 8 students (4 boys and 4 girls) who used Polar GPS. The instruments used included Polar GPS RC3 to measure the traveled distance and Polar Heart Rate Sensor H3 to determine the students pulse rate. The results showed that the overall average of the student pulse rate was 137.13, which is categorized as the low to moderate category. Meanwhile, the average distance obtained was 0.48 km. It concludes that the student pulse rate during the implementation of the technical learning model in this study was in the low to moderate category. This study was limited to a small number of samples due to limited tools. Therefore, further research is needed to obtain a broader picture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, kinerja Guru terhadap Efektifitas Kerja Tim Sekolah di SD Cidugaleun Kabupaten Tasikmalaya Kepala sekolah dan guru yang berjumlah 9 orang dipilih menjadi sampel melalui teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan instrumen berupa angket. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis korelasi, regresi  dan menguji setiap hipotesis yang telah dirumuskan. Kesimpulan penelitian menemukan gambaran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah  berada pada kategori  tinggi, Kinerja guru berada pada kategori tinggi, dan efektivitas kerja tim sekolah berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap efektivitas kerja tim sekolah. Berdasarkan temuan, maka penulis merekomendasikan pihak-pihak terkait penyelenggara satuan pendidikan untuk melakukan berbagai upaya perbaikan secara preventif pada  setiap variabel. Beberapa hal yang perlu tingkatkan diantaranya peningkatan kualifikasi akademik kepala sekolah, kerja sama, peningkatan pelayanan pengajaran terhadap siswa dan penilaian terhadap prestasi belajar siswa yang menyeluruh sehingga berdampak terhadap peningkatkan mutu sekolah.

Abstract

The implementation of the National Assessment (AN) at the elementary school (SD) level in Indonesia is the first to be implemented in 2021. This is a challenge for every educational unit, especially regarding the financial aspect of the implementation of AN. The school unit implements AN, the first is to organize independently, and the second is to ride or share resources. In this research, we will take a case study of one school that organizes AN independently and one school that chooses the boarding method. The results of the study show two challenges that must be faced by education units, namely the AN budget that has not been included in the School Activity Plan and Budget (RKAS) at the beginning of the year and the unavailability of infrastructure facilities for the implementation of AN. The research shows an overview of the implementation of AN in the two different methods seen from the aspect of financing, so that it can be a lesson for the preparation of financing management for the implementation of AN SD in the Future.

Abstract

Anak usia dini adalah masa keemasan (golden age), masa yang memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap kualitas perkembangan anak selanjutnya sehingga pemberian stimulasi yang cukup dan benar akan membantu pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang sesuai dengan aspek perkembangan anak, salah satunya yaitu meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus pada anak usia dini melalui penerapan media kertas kokoru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik observasi dan wawancara. Subjek dalam penelitian ini dilakukan kepada anak kelompok B Kober Ar-Roqayah. Hasil yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan motorik halus anak dapat meningkat melalui penerapan media kertas kokoru, seperti anak dapat menggunting, menggulung, dan menempel sesuai dengan pola yang ada dan anak dapat mengkoordinasikan mata dan tangan. Sehingga penerapan media kertas kokoru sangat disarankan untuk digunakan sebagai upaya dalam meningkatkan motorik halus anak usia dini.

Abstract

Dewasa ini pendidikan sekolah dasar lebih berorientasi pada pengembangan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dengan sedikit menitikberatkan pada karakter. Dimana karakter merupakan hal yang sangat esensial dalam berbangsa dan bernegara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh permainan tradisional gobag sodor berbasis socratic method dalam meningkatkan karakter courage siswa di sekolah dasar. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen desain Quasi Eksperimen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 peserta didik kelas 4 yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok yaitu 15 peserta didik sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 15 peserta didik sebagai kelompok kontrol. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner berupa pretest dan posttest dengan skor penilaian skala likert berjumlah 40 item pernyataan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji statistika dan deskriptif. Berdasarkan analisis hasil penelitian, menunjukkan adanya pengaruh permainan tradisional gobag sodor dalam meningkatkan karakter courage siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan tradisional engklek pada character strength wisdom siswa sekolah dasar di SD Negeri Cibogo, Kecamatan Sukaraja, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Pre-experimental Design jenis One Group Pretest-Posttest. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV dengan jumlah siswa 25 orang. Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner (angket) .Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah dilakukan pretest lalu diberikan treatment berupa permainan tradisional engklek dan dilakukan posttest terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap character strength wisdom siswa. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut menunjukkan adanya pengaruh permainan tradisional engklek pada character strength wisdom siswa sekolah dasar. Abstract

A character is a crystallization form of the habituation process carried out by individuals during their life spans. Character building is carried out firstly in the family environment and can be instilled through formal and informal educational institutions. Currently, the government is promoting character education and Pancasila students in schools because it is believed to shape child character effectively. This study aimed to improve elementary school students' gotong royong character, known as the mutual assistance character, through traditional games using Socratic method-based learning. This research is an experimental research using pre-experimental (single group designs). The participants were 37 elementary school students aged 9-11 years. The mutual assistance character was measured using a questionnaire instrument adapted from the Permendikbud and integrated with Krathwohl affective domain indicators. Data were analyzed using SPSS 21 employing paired sample T-test processing. The results show a significant increase from the pretest to post-test results (16.6% on mutual assistance, 18.1% on cooperation, and 15.1% on communication). It implies that traditional games through Socratic Method-based learning can be used as an alternative to developing the mutual assistance character as an effort to promote the profile of Pancasila students in elementary schools.

Abstract

The educational process in the new normal era presents challenges for teachers in order to accelerate the increase in learning activities for students and achieve comprehensive and optimal education based on needs, as well as student development. One of the main focuses at the elementary school level is strengthening character education. The purpose of this article is to conduct training on the application of strengthening character education through traditional games based on the Socratic Method for teachers in elementary schools in Tasikmalaya. The implementer of this community service program were lecturers of UPI Tasikmalaya Campus. The method of implementing the service was carried out through several stages, namely Focus Group Discussion (FGD), seminars/training, workshops, and mentoring as well as supervision and evaluation. The research was located in Tasikmalaya, while the target was teachers in elementary schools. The results of this activity were obtained by the teachers regarding the strengthening of theory and practice (planning, implementation, evaluation) of traditional games that were integrated with the Socratic Method in an effort to develop character values in students. The teachers responded well to this learning innovation as a form of increasing their competence. The implication of this activity is that teachers are expected to be able to apply their knowledge to students in their respective schools.
