Abstract

This study to determine and analyze the influence of leadership on organizational commitment and work discipline or employee performance in public health office of Pekanbaru City. This research was carried out at the public health office of Pekanbaru City with a sample of 99 people. The sampling technique in this study was saturated sampel by the census method. Data collection using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and analysis hypothesis using the structural equation model (AMOS) and SPSS. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and hypothesis analysis using the structural equation model (AMOS) and SPSS. The test results show that there is an influence of leadership on organizational commitment, there is an influence of leadership on work discipline, there is no influence of leadership on employee performance, there is no influence of organizational commitment on work discipline, there is no influence of leadership on employee performance, and there is no influence of work discipline on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze how the market reacted to the covid-19 event that occurred in Indonesia, namely the existence of PSBB Volume I, New Normal, PSBB Volume II, the entry of the sinovac vaccine phase 1 to Indonesia, and the injection of the first vaccine to President Jokowi using abnormal returns and trading volume activity as an indicator of investor reaction in the capital market. In this study, there were 30 samples of IDX30 companies for the January 2021 period. To test investor reactions, an event study was used to measure the difference in reactions before and after the event. This study also used paired sample t-test for normally distributed data and the Wilcoxon sign rank test for data that were not normally distributed. The results of this study in the PSBB Volume I and New Normal events there was no abnormal return either before or after the event, in the PSBB Volume II event there was a positive abnormal return, 2 days before PSBB Volume II and negative abnormal returns 3 days after, in the event of the entry of the sinovac vaccine phase 1 into Indonesia, there was a negative abnormal return 2 days before the event, and in the event of the first vaccine injection to President Jokowi, there was a negative abnormal return 2 days before the event. However, there is no significant difference between abnormal returns before and after all events. While trading volume activity in the PSBB Volume I, New Normal, the entry of the sinovac vaccine phase 1 to Indonesia, and the first vaccine injection to President Jokowi, there was no difference between the activities before and after the event. But in the PSBB Volume II, there were significant differences in trading volume activity before and after the event.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the influence of Asset Growth, Asset Structure, Company Size, Business Risk, Non Debt Tax Shield on Capital Structure and Profitability. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling method with a population of 100 companies and a sample of 76 companies and the data analysis techniques used were Descriptive Analysis, Multicollinearity Test, Coefficient of Determination Test, Path Analysis. The Independent Variables are Capital Structure and Profitability. The results of this study indicate that asset growth has no effect on profitability, asset structure has a positive effect on profitability, firm size has a positive effect on profitability, business risk has no effect on profitability, asset growth has a negative effect on capital structure, asset structure has a positive effect on capital structure, size the company has no effect on capital structure, business risk has a positive effect on capital structure, Non Debt Tax Shield has a negative effect on capital structure, profitability has a negative effect on capital structure.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the event on the work copyright bill on abnormal returns and trading volume activity on LQ45 shares on the Indonesian stock exchange. It is hoped that the findings of this study can contribute to the development of studies on financial management. The research population is LQ45 companies listed on the IDX in 2020, with secondary data collection from sites (Yahoo Finance, n.d.) and (Indonesian Stock Exchange, n.d.). Quantitative research data analysis techniques used in the form of descriptive analysis techniques, hypothesis analysis. Testing the data from this research is in the form of a t-hypothesis test, and by using the Ms. excel. The results of this study found that there was no difference in abnormal returns before and after the events studied and also there is no difference in trading volume activity before and after the events studied.

Abstract

This research aims to test the influence of competence, motivation, and organizational commitment on job satisfaction and employee performance at PT Bank Sinarmas Tbk Pekanbaru Riau Branch. The phenomenon that occurs is that every year there are still employees who get poor employee performance assessments. The Structural Equation Modeling method is used to test the effect of independent variables on dependent variables. The samples used in this study were all permanent employees at PT Bank Sinarmas Tbk Pekanbaru Riau Branch. The results showed that the variables of competence, motivation, and organizational commitment had no significant effect on job satisfaction. The variables of competence, motivation, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction are insignificant to employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational commitment, competence, motivation, and work culture on job satisfaction and performance of Bhabinkantibmas Polres employees in Kampar Regency. The method used in collecting data in this study was a questionnaire. The population in this study were all employees of the Bhabinkantibmas Polres Kampar totaling 120 members of the Bhabinkantibmas. While the sample of this study was 120 respondents where using the census method. The data analysis technique in this study uses descriptive analysis and Equation Model Structure analysis (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results showed that organizational commitment and competence were significantly positive on job satisfaction. Motivation is significantly positive on Job Satisfaction. Work culture is not significant to job satisfaction, organizational commitment is not significant to employee performance. Competence is significantly negative on employee performance. Motivation is not significant to employee performance. Work culture and job satisfaction are not significant to employee performance at Bhabinkantibmas Polres in Kampar Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of leadership style, commitment, and motivation on job satisfaction and teacher performance at SMK Multi Mekanik Masmur Pekanbaru. Respondents in this study used a sample of 81 people, with a purposive sampling technique as exogenous variables are leadership style, commitment, and motivation. While the endogenous variables are job satisfaction and teacher performance. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and hypothesis analysis with structural equation modeling (SEM) and PLS. The results obtained indicate that there is an insignificant effect of leadership style on job satisfaction, commitment has no significant effect on job satisfaction, and motivation has no significant effect on job satisfaction. Furthermore, leadership style has a significant effect on teacher performance, commitment has no significant effect on teacher performance, motivation has no significant effect on teacher performance and job satisfaction has no significant effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of competence, motivation, work environment, and teacher performance on job satisfaction at Darul Hikmah Koto Baru Foundation, Dharmasraya Regency. The method used in collecting data in this research is a questionnaire. The population in this study were all teachers at the Darul Hikmah Koto Baru Foundation, Dharmasraya Regency, with a total of 50 teachers. The sample of this study used the census method with the analysis of the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method with the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. The results showed that performance had a non-significant negative effect on job satisfaction, competence had a positive and non-significant effect on performance and job satisfaction, work environment had a non-significant negative effect on job satisfaction, work environment had a non-significant positive effect on performance, and motivation had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, and motivation has a non-significant positive effect on teacher performance at Yayasan Pondok Pesantren Darul Hikmah Koto Baru Kabupaten Dharmasraya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and determine the effect of socialization quality, service quality, and electronic service quality on taxpayer satisfaction and taxpayer compliance. The population in question is taxpayers who are registered with the KPP Madya Pekanbaru and have the obligation to report the Annual Income Tax Return using e-filing, totaling 829 taxpayers. The sample was used using the Slovin formula calculation of as many as 109 respondents. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Model – Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis with the help of Smart PLS software. The results of this study indicate that the quality of service and the quality of electronic services is significantly positive for taxpayer satisfaction and socialization quality is positively not significant for taxpayer satisfaction. Quality of socialization, quality of service, quality of electronic services, and taxpayer satisfaction are positive but not significant on taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of internal company factors Firm Size, Fixed Asset Turnover, Current Ratio, and Debt To Equity Ratio on Financial Performance (ROA) then this study also aims to examine and analyze the effect of Firm Size, Fixed Asset Turnover, Debt To Equity Ratio, and Financial Performance (ROA) to Firm Value (PBV) in hotel, restaurant and tourism sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017 - 2021. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling, using the purposive sampling method with the criteria that these companies have financial data for 2017 - 2021 needed to calculate the ratios used as research variables so that the sample used in this study was 35. Data analysis techniques in this research is done in several stages, namely statistical analysis descriptive sticks, classic assumption tests to measure the quality of the data collected, model tests, path analysis, and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that Firm Size, Fixed Asset Turnover, and Current Ratio have no effect on Company Performance, while the Debt To Equity Ratio has a negative and significant effect on Company Performance. The other results, Firm Size and Fixed Asset Turnover have a negative and significant effect on Firm Value, while the Debt To Equity Ratio and Company Performance have a positive and significant effect on Firm Value. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh faktor internal perusahaan yaitu Firm Size, Fixed Asset Turnover, Current Ratio, dan Debt To Equity Ratio terhadap Kinerja Keuangan (ROA) dan kemudian penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Firm Size, Fixed Asset Turnover, Debt To Equity Ratio, dan Kinerja Keuangan (ROA) terhadap Nilai Perusahaan (PBV) pada perusahaan sub sektor hotel, restoran, dan pariwisata yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2017 - 2021. Teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah non probability sampling, yaitu dengan metode purposive sampling dengan kriteria bahwa perusahaan - perusahaan tersebut memiliki data – data keuangan tahun 2017 - 2021 yang dibutuhkan untuk menghitung rasio - rasio yang digunakan sebagai variabel penelitian sehingga sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 35. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini dilakukan atas beberapa tahapan, yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik untuk mengukur kualitas dari data yang dikumpulkan, uji model, analisis path, serta uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan bantuan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Firm Size, Fixed Asset Turnover, dan Current Ratio tidak berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Perusahaan, sedangkan Debt To Equity Ratio berpengaruh secara negatif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Perusahaan. Selain itu, Firm Size dan Fixed Asset Turnover berpengaruh secara negatif dan signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan, sedangkan Debt To Equity Ratio dan Kinerja Perusahaan berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan.
