Abstract

There are inconsistent findings regarding the influence of psychological contracts on innovative work behavior, with some studies showing no significant relationship while others indicate a strong positive effect, revealing a theoretical gap that needs further exploration. This study addresses that gap by examining how fulfilled psychological contracts, through the lens of Social Exchange Theory, stimulate innovative work behavior and enhance salesperson performance in Indonesia’s competitive automotive service sector. This study examines how psychological contracts influence salesperson performance, both directly and indirectly, through the mediating role of Innovative Work Behavior (IWB). Data were collected through a census of 184 salespeople from an automotive service company in Riau, Indonesia, using a structured questionnaire. Analysis was conducted with SmartPLS 4.1. The results show that psychological contracts significantly affect salesperson performance (β = 0.460, p < 0.01) and IWB (β = 0.904, p < 0.001). In turn, IWB significantly improves performance (β = 0.487, p < 0.001) and mediates the relationship between psychological contracts and performance (β = 0.440, p < 0.001). Theoretically, this study extends Social Exchange Theory by clarifying inconsistent findings on psychological contracts and innovative behavior in prior research. Practically, the results highlight the importance of fulfilling psychological contracts to stimulate innovation and strengthen sales performance in emerging market contexts.

Abstract

Therefore, this study aimed to examine and analyze the effect of hedonic shopping motivation, and shopping lifestyle, either directly or indirectly through impulse buying in Shopee e-commerce. The data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with that, there were 95 respondents as the sample. Moreover, the study was descriptive-quantitative with descriptive analysis and statistic inferential, i.e. using SmartPLS 4.0 with bootstrapping test. In addition, both hedonic shopping motivation and shopping lifestyle had a significant effect on positive emotion. However, hedonic shopping, as well as a shopping lifestyle, had an insignificant effect on impulse buying. Likewise, positive emotion proved to mediate both hedonic shopping motivation and shopping lifestyle on impulse buying (full mediation). In other words, positive emotion could improve or determine consumers to have impulse buying in Shopee e-commerce.

Non-probability purposive sampling was used to determine the respondent. The criteria for the sample for this study were students who used freemium applications. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square. The results confirmed that only reliability and responsiveness positively impacted customer satisfaction among the service quality dimensions, while assurance and empathy showed no effect. Only assurance and responsiveness were found to affect continuous usage intention positively, while empathy and reliability were found to have no effect. There was no evidence of the effect of the dimensions of service quality on purchase intention. Perceived value failed to moderate the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction. While there was a significant positive impact of customer satisfaction towards continuous usage intention, no effect has been found towards purchase intention. Continuous usage intention was confirmed to have a positive impact on purchase intention.JEL: O32, M31, L11ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi continuous usage intention dan purchase intention pada aplikasi yang memiliki layanan premium pada mahasiswa. Abstract

This study aimed to examine and analyze the effect of Return On Equity (ROE) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on firm value and the stock price in Real Estate and Property; through annual financial statements and the company's performance that were listed on the Investment Gallery of Indonesia Stock Exchange, STIESIA. Besides, it aims to examine and analyze the effect of Return On Equity and Debt to Equity Ratio on stock prices either directly or indirectly, through firm value. Since firm value was a mediating variable, it could measure the company's performance that was reflected in stock price. Furthermore, the population was 49 companies that were listed on the Gallery of Indonesia Stock Exchange, STIESIA during 2015-2021. The data collection technique used purposive sampling. In line with that, there were 11 Real Estate and Property companies as the sample. Additionally, the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with path analysis and causal step, as well as SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions). As a result, it is concluded that ROE and DER have a significant effect on firm value. Likewise, the firm value had a significant effect on the stock price. Both ROE and DER have an insignificant effect on the stock price. While DER could increase the risk for stakeholders. In other words, the higher the DER was, the lower the stock price (undervalued) would be. As a result, the stock won't interest the stakeholders. On the other hand, the firm value may not be the mediating variable of ROE on the stock price. However, the firm value could mediate DER on stock price (full mediation). In conclusion, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) could encourage the stakeholders to invest their stocks in Real and Property companies.

Abstract

Contact between teaching and educational staff and students in higher education is relatively intensive. One of the critical determinants of the success of higher education is the satisfaction of teaching staff. This research examines the influence of Spiritual Intelligence and Spiritual leadership on job satisfaction and performance of PNSD education staff at private universities in Riau. The respondents to this research were 105 lecturers. The exogenous variables are Spiritual Intelligence and Spiritual Leadership, while the endogenous variables consist of job satisfaction and lecturer performance. The analysis used in this research is path analysis using PLS-SEM. The results of the hypothesis test show that Spiritual Intelligence and Spiritual leadership have a significant effect on job satisfaction. For the Performance variable, only Spiritual Intelligence has a significant effect. Spiritual leadership has no significant effect on performance. This research suggests that spiritual intelligence needs to be developed so that lecturers can align personal values with organizational goals. Leaders need to prioritize the interests of their members rather than their personal interests. A spiritual leader who is able to manage his ego to provide motivation and good work enthusiasm will undoubtedly be able to increase the job satisfaction and performance of his subordinates. This research contributes to developing theories of job satisfaction and performance from a spiritual perspective.
