Abstract

The research method used to analyze the situation and conditions in making this paper is a qualitative method. As an analysis procedure, qualitative methods can produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people or observable behavior. This pandemic comes with all its negative effects. Inequality, poverty, and education are the most affected lines in this pandemic because they reduce the income of vulnerable and poor groups. Many parties assess the world economy is far worse than before the corona. Weakening global economic growth caused many impacts on the pace of economy in Indonesia, both in terms of trade, investment and tourism. Thus, changing the projected economic growth becomes even slower due to the spread of Covid-19 throughout the country. Although we know that the Indonesian government has issued a policy of hundreds of trillions of rupiah to save our economy, social impact, poverty, and Equality. The Indonesian government has currently budgeted funds of Rp405.1 Trillion for handling Covid-19. The budget allocation will be divided for several sectors, such as the health sector in the amount of Rp75 Trillion, Social Safety Net of Rp110 trillion, tax incentives and stimulus for People's Business Credit (KUR) of Rp70.1 trillion, and funding for the national economic recovery program of Rp150 Trillion, including credit restructuring and guarantees

Abstract

Karangtengah Village in Batur District, Banjarnegara Regency, is an area that has the potential to be developed, especially in the livestock sector. The geographical conditions surrounded by plantations and the socio-economic conditions of the community, most of whom earn a living as farmers and breeders, are supporting factors for the livestock business's development. Development is carried out by introducing feed supplements and their application as additional feed given to livestock to increase farmers' awareness of meeting micronutrient needs and providing information related to the technology of making mineral blocks as animal feed supplements. The method used is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), which involves farmers from the beginning to the end of the program. Activities began with data collection, physical examination of sheep, and education on the importance of feed supplements, especially mineral blocks, which help overcome livestock health problems due to mineral deficiencies. Training on making mineral blocks was conducted theoretically and practically by 12 participants from the Serdang Merdada livestock group and individual farmers. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge, as indicated by a higher post-test score than the pre-test. The "Mineral Block Making Demonstration" Activity Program of IPB 2024 Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik (KKNT Inovasi) in Karangtengah Village encourages the adoption of better and sustainable animal husbandry practices. This program provides tangible benefits in improving the welfare of farmers and the quality of livestock products.

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of implementing a policy of delegating mineral and coal mining business permits in North Halmahera Regency, aimed at improving the efficiency of the permitting process at the local level. The research focuses on how five key factors in George C. Edward III's Policy Implementation Model communication, resources, disposition of implementers, bureaucratic structure, and external environmental factors influence the success of implementing this policy in the region. The results show that effective communication between the central and local governments is crucial to aligning policy processes. However, disrupted or unstructured communication often leads to miscommunication that hinders policy implementation in the field. This study highlights the need for improvements in communication, strengthening of resources, a more efficient bureaucratic structure, and increased community involvement to achieve the desired goals and fairness in the implementation of mining permit policies. These conclusions provide guidance for policymakers to design a more inclusive and responsive framework for local conditions, enabling sustainable mining in North Halmahera.

Abstract

Indonesia has 17,504 islands and one of them is Gili Trawangan. Gili Trawangan is one of the favorite tourist destinations in Indonesia which has an area of approximately 6 km2. In order to achieve the development of tourism islands, sufficient water and energy are needed in the area. The island's location in the middle of the sea makes it difficult to get freshwater and energy supplies. In this study, on-grid and off-grid simulations of renewable energy (solar, wind, and biomass) were carried out to determine the potential of integration energy as seawater desalination power as the need for freshwater in the area by calculating NPC (Net Present Cost), COE (Cost of Energy), operational costs, energy, and CO2 emissions. In the off-grid simulation, the lowest NPC and COE integration potentials were found at PV (Photovoltaic) capacities of 102 kW, 14 WT (Wind Turbine), 50 kW BG (Biogas Generator), and 50 kW DG (Diesel Generator) with a value of Rp 17,042,910,000 and Rp 1,587. The lowest operational costs and CO2 emissions are at the PV capacity of 209 kW, 8 WT, 50 kW BG, and 50 kW DG with a value of Rp 292,308,100 and 163 kg/year. In energy production, there is excess production and electrical energy at the PV capacity of 188 kW, 25 WT, 50 kW BG, and 50 kW DG with values of 2,301,533 kWh/year and 1,821,626 kWh/year. On-grid simulation results obtained the lowest NPC and NOE at 30 kW PV, 5 WT, and 50 kW BG with a value 2,961,782,000 and Rp. 200. Lowest operating costs, lowest CO2 emissions, largest electricity production, and best electricity trading at the PV capacity of 209 kW, 5 WT, and 50 BG with a value Rp 12,428,750, 84,000 kg/year, 882,455 kWh/year, 239,996 kWh, and 132,911 kWh.
