Abstract

This study examines how written corrective feedback (WCF) can be operationalized within Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD)-based writing worksheets to support EFL university students’ academic writing. A structured integrative review was conducted using a focused corpus of fourteen peer-reviewed studies on WCF, learner engagement, scaffolding, and technology-mediated feedback, supported by foundational and methodological literature. The review used eligibility screening, an analytic matrix, thematic coding, and narrative synthesis. The findings indicate that WCF is most educationally useful when it is focused, timely, interpretable, linked to revision, and responsive to learners’ demonstrated needs. The evidence also shows that feedback uptake depends on learners’ engagement and that digital tools can accelerate feedback cycles but cannot independently provide the contextual mediation required for complex academic writing. The synthesis yields a five-stage design framework: diagnostic baseline, guided planning, drafting with focused feedback, dialogic revision, and fading with transfer. The framework positions a worksheet as feedback infrastructure rather than as a static exercise sheet. Its contribution is a conceptually integrated model that specifies the form, timing, and gradual withdrawal of feedback for EFL academic writing; its effectiveness requires subsequent development and experimental testing.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the psychometric quality of Grade 5 elementary school mathematics test instruments based on validity, reliability, and difficulty level distribution parameters. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed, with 15 multiple-choice items administered to 49 students as the unit of analysis. Data were collected through documentation of test scripts, answer keys, and student answer sheets. Analysis was conducted using Classical Test Theory, comprising item validity through item-total correlation, reliability using Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, and difficulty level analysis based on the proportion of correct answers. Results indicated that 9 items (60%) met validity criteria, while 6 items (40%) did not. The instrument obtained a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.753, classifying it as reliable. Difficulty level distribution showed 8 items (53.33%) in the moderate category and 7 items (46.67%) in the easy category, with no items classified as difficult. The mathematics test instrument analyzed demonstrated adequate psychometric quality; however, it still requires revision of invalid items and development of items with more varied difficulty levels to ensure more accurate and comprehensive measurement of student ability.

Abstract

This study evaluated principals' digital leadership in managing students' generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) use in elementary schools using the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) evaluation model. A qualitative evaluation study was conducted in an Indonesian public elementary school involving one principal, two vice principals, five classroom teachers, three parent representatives, and two students. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The results indicated an urgent need for school-level GenAI governance. Existing digital infrastructure, teacher readiness, and parental support provided a foundation for implementation, while principals enacted digital leadership through policy communication, teacher empowerment, monitoring practices, and stakeholder collaboration. These efforts contributed to strengthening students' awareness of responsible GenAI use and enhancing digital literacy. The study was limited to a single-school context and qualitative evidence. Schools should strengthen AI-related professional development, parental engagement, and age-appropriate governance frameworks. This study extends the application of the CIPP model to GenAI governance and highlights principals' digital leadership as a key mechanism for fostering responsible AI use in elementary education.

Abstract

Alternative energy learning in schools requires instructional materials that can connect scientific concepts with real-world problem solving. However, current learning practices are still often dominated by theoretical explanations, textbook-based instruction, and limited project-oriented activities. This study aimed to analyze physics teachers’ needs for developing STEM-PjBL-based student worksheets to support students’ Creative Problem Solving (CPS) in alternative energy learning. This study employed a descriptive survey method involving 27 physics teachers in Lampung Province. Data were collected using a teacher needs questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the teacher needs questionnaire was categorized as very valid, with an average validity percentage of 80.54%. In alternative energy learning, Problem Based Learning was the most frequently used learning model, while Project Based Learning was used by only 33.3% of teachers. Student worksheets and learning videos were the most commonly used learning resources, each used by 85.2% of teachers, while printed books were still used by 63.0% of teachers. Although 85.2% of teachers had used student worksheets and 59.3% had developed their own worksheets, only 48.1% reported using worksheets integrated with STEM-PjBL. Furthermore, 96.3% of teachers stated that they needed student worksheets designed to support students’ Creative Problem Solving. These findings indicate a gap between the availability of student worksheets and their integration with structured STEM-PjBL and CPS-oriented learning activities. Therefore, the development of STEM-PjBL-based student worksheets is needed to support more contextual, project-based, and problem-solving-oriented alternative energy learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze accountability-based educational financing management in improving the quality of senior high school services. This study employed a qualitative-conceptual approach using an integrative literature review design involving nine relevant articles on educational financing management, school financial management, accountability, transparency, school funding, and service quality in education. The data were analyzed through thematic-critical synthesis by identifying patterns of findings, comparing the contributions of each article, and formulating a conceptual framework for accountability-based educational financing management. The findings indicate that financial accountability is not merely related to administrative compliance or financial reporting, but also functions as a strategic governance principle that connects needs-based budgeting, participatory allocation, disciplined implementation, transparent reporting, supervision, and quality-oriented evaluation. The findings also reveal that the involvement of principals, treasurers, teachers, school committees, and other stakeholders is essential to ensure that school funds are used effectively, equitably, and meaningfully to improve learning services. This study concludes that accountability-based educational financing management can serve as a governance framework for strengthening the quality of senior high school services. The implication is that schools need to develop a transparent, well-documented, participatory, and benefit-evaluation-based financing system so that educational funds contribute directly to sustainable educational service quality.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the deep learning approach implementation program at Mesuji 1 State Junior High School in November 2025 using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model to support the 21st century learning transformation. The deep learning approach is defined as an in-depth learning methodology that integrates exploration, conceptual understanding, and critical application based on artificial intelligence, aligned with the Independent Curriculum and the 8 graduate profiles. This research was descriptive qualitative with purposive sampling of the principal and two teachers, collecting data through semi-structured interviews and observations. The evaluation showed that the program context was highly relevant to national education policy (100% of respondents); input achieved 70% adequacy with effective teacher training but was hampered by ICT infrastructure; the implementation process was optimal through problem-based learning (PBL) and student-centered simulations despite time constraints and student heterogeneity; and the product resulted in a 15-20% increase in learning achievement, student motivation, and graduate profile achievement, albeit partially due to limited training. This program is innovative in advancing digital education, but requires holistic investment for sustainability, with theoretical contributions to the evaluation of deep learning at the junior high school level as well as practical implications as a reference for replication.

Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) is a national policy aimed at improving students’ nutritional status and supporting their readiness to learn at school. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the MBG Program at SMP X Blambangan Umpu using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with research subjects consisting of teachers, students, parents/guardians, and MBG program managemant staff. Data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews to obtain a comprehensive picture of program implementation. Data validity was ensured using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, wich includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that in the context component, the MBG Program is relevant to stundents’ nutritional needs and aligned with government policies, although menu variety still needs to be improved. In the input component, the readiness of humen resources, the involvement of nutritionists, and the availability of facilities and infrastructure were considered adequate however, students’ acceptance of the menu varied. In the process component, program implementation was fairly well organized, with effective mechanisms for quality control and food safety supervision. In the product component, the MBG Program had a positive impact on students’ eating patterns, stamina, and learning readiness, although improvements in nutritional status occurred gradually. Overall, the MBG Program contributes to supporting students’ health and the learning process therefore, continuous evaluation is needed to enhance the effectiveness of the program.
