Abstract

SMPN 1 Pangkalan Kerinci mencantumkan 8 kegiatan, sedangkan SMPN 2 hanya 3 kegiatan.

Abstract

The study is intended to analyze the extent to which work discipline, school culture, and principal leadership impact teacher performance in Madrasah Aliyah in the Mataram City area. This study applied a quantitative approach with ex-post facto methods and surveys. This research used a survey strategy, using questionnaires as a data collection tool. The research population consisted of all teachers in three states and Aliyah Madrasah in Mataram City, totaling 169 people. The research sample was selected through probability sampling techniques, so that 114 teachers from the three MAs were selected. For the data collection process, the questionnaires had been validated both expertly and through empirical tests to support the accuracy of the research. Testing of the validity and reliability of the instrument was carried out with the help of SPSS Version 26 software. The test results show that, partially, work discipline has a positive and significant impact on teacher performance with a regression coefficient of 0.459. School culture shows a negative influence on teacher performance with a regression coefficient of -0.176. Meanwhile, the leadership of the principal also has a significant positive effect on teacher performance, with a regression coefficient of 0.498. Simultaneously, these three variables have a significant impact on teacher performance, with an F value of 98.026, which is greater than the F value in the table of 2.68. These findings confirm that the improvement of teacher performance is greatly impacted by the level of work discipline, the quality of the principal's leadership, and the supportive school culture conditions.

Abstract

School administrative staff (TAS) is the suboptimal implementation of excellent service, which is caused by limited technology, lack of training, and heavy workload. This has an impact on the quality of administrative services that are not in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP), thus reducing the satisfaction of various related parties in the school environment. This study aims to analyze the formulation of superior service management strategies for administrative staff in high schools. The subjects of the study were six high school administrative staff. The study used a descriptive qualitative method with data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used was data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of the analysis showed that the formulation of excellent service management was carried out by strengthening the competence and innovation of the quality of administrative staff, thus supporting the creation of quality services in high schools. Its implementation is realized through attitudes, attention, and actions that accommodate aspirations, dynamics of science, and technology in order to create superior and quality high schools. The conclusion of the study shows that the strategy for excellent service management in high schools involves formulations that involve all related parties, including principals, teachers, employees, and administrative staff.

Abstract

Technology-enhanced learning management has become essential for vocational schools to prepare students for digitalized workforces. However, systematic implementation approaches and their impacts on educational quality remain underexplored in vocational education contexts. This qualitative case study examined technology-enhanced learning management implementation across three state vocational schools in Tanjung Selor District, Indonesia. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with principals, curriculum coordinators, and teachers, direct observations of learning processes, and document analysis. The Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model guided data analysis through systematic coding and thematic development. All schools implemented a five-stage framework: planning (including diagnostic assessment and industry partnerships), infrastructure preparation, human resource development, technology implementation, and evaluation. Distinct technology integration models emerged: Teaching Factory (SMK N 1), industry classes and simulation-based learning (SMK N 2 and N 3), and artificial intelligence integration (SMK N 2). Positive impacts included enhanced student engagement, improved teacher creativity, and strengthened industry connections. Challenges encompassed technology gaps, access inequalities, equipment limitations, staff readiness variations, technology misuse, and budget constraints. Schools demonstrated organizational resilience through strategic partnerships, systematic professional development, and positive culture initiatives. The systematic implementation approach aligns with adaptive teaching theory and contemporary change management frameworks. The diversity of technology integration models reflects institutional capacity to contextualize innovations according to specializations. However, technology integration introduces complex classroom management challenges requiring sophisticated pedagogical competencies beyond traditional teaching skills.

Abstract

Democracy in Indonesia faces problems such as the disruption of freedom of expression in criticizing the government, physical violence committed by a junior high school principal against a teacher in Jombang Regency, East Java. Principals who are far from democratic values such as deliberation or expressing opinions, Public Junior High Schools in Merauke are less able to control subordinates. This study aims to analyze the implementation of quality-based democratic leadership by Public Junior High School principals in Merauke Regency and identify supporting and inhibiting factors. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach with primary data sources in the form of in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation in five Public Junior High Schools in Merauke, as well as secondary data in the form of archives and educational regulations. The results show that a quality-based democratic leadership style can create a collaborative work climate that improves teacher performance and the quality of educational services, if balanced with effective coordination, continuous motivation, and transparency in decision-making. However, obstacles were also found in the form of a lack of firmness of leaders in enforcing discipline, weak consistency in providing examples, and the influence of local culture that gives rise to personal sentiments. Supporting factors include active teacher involvement in school program planning, support from local government policies, and school accreditation that encourages quality improvement. The conclusion of this study is that democratic leadership of quality-oriented school principals is effectively implemented if accompanied by increased managerial competence, strengthening the role of the school principal as a motivator, and a commitment to transparency and professionalism.

Abstract

This study describes the management of the Movers Teacher Education program and identifies the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation at the Guru Penggerak (Movers Teacher) Education Center (BGP) in Jambi Province, Indonesia. The study focuses on the effectiveness of program implementation within the context of education management. A qualitative research approach was used, with data collected from the BGP Jambi Province, including the Head of BGP, Head of the General Sub-Division, Program Implementation Coordinator, and Sub-coordinator of the Teacher Mover Program. Data were gathered through interviews, observations, and document studies, then analyzed using Miles,Huberman, and Saldana's six-step inductive analysis model. The findings indicate that program management is conducted through three main functions: planning, implementation, and evaluation, which align with the DG GTK policies. Planning involves strategy development and working group formation; implementation includes online learning, individual mentoring, and workshops; and evaluation is conducted using the LMS in SIMPKB and the SIMERDEKA application. Supporting factors for implementation include collaboration with BPMP and local education offices, while obstacles include limited human resources, scheduling mismatches, and geographical challenges in mentoring. The conclusion highlights that program management has been executed in accordance with management functions. These findings imply the importance of strengthening coordination and resource allocation to optimize the program

Abstract

This study aims to explore the academic supervision strategies implemented by school principals to improve the teaching quality of teachers at SMP Negeri Kecamatan Siak, focusing on three main aspects: planning strategy, implementation strategy, and evaluation and follow-up strategy of academic supervision. Using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, this study involved in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis at SMPN 2 and SMPN 4 Siak from August to October 2025. The results showed that the academic supervision carried out by the principals in SMP Negeri Kecamatan Siak emphasized professional development of teachers rather than just administrative evaluation. In the planning stage, principals involved teachers from the outset to build mutual understanding. During the implementation phase, different challenges were found in each school: at SMPN 2, psychological barriers emerged as some teachers felt awkward and tense during the supervision process, limiting openness to feedback, while at SMPN 4, administrative barriers occurred due to the focus of supervision being more on checking teaching materials rather than substantive pedagogical support. However, SMPN 4 had implemented an effective monitoring and follow-up system, although the adoption of positive practices had not yet been widespread among teachers.

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy skills are core competencies in determining students' acade-mic achievement and lifelong learning. Elementary schools in Tegalrejo District have implemented literacy and numeracy strengthening programs for the past two years. However, an evaluation of the program has not been conducted. Based on this, this study aims to evaluate the implementation of the literacy and numeracy strengthening program in nine elementary schools in Tegalrejo District using the CIPP evaluation model. Data collection was conducted through surveys, interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that the strengthening program is effective in strengthening students' literacy and numeracy skills in general, aligned with school needs, supported by appropriate policies, and strengthened by the active involvement of stakeholders, especially principals and teachers. Investments in teacher training and the provision of facilities such as reading corners and numeracy materials have contributed to a more effective learning environment, despite minimal parental involvement. Literacy and numeracy activities are also supported by collaborative innovation and consistent monitoring by the relevant schools. The product evaluation also showed improvements in student competency, a more dynamic school literacy and numeracy culture, and increased publication of student and teacher work. The findings of this study have highlighted the importance of (1) careful planning of numeracy literacy strengthening programs, (2) ongoing professional development for teachers, (3) collaboration between stakeholders such as principals and parents, and (4) systematic evaluation to measure the effectiveness of literacy and numeracy strengthening programs in primary education.
