Abstract

Tanaman padi merupakan salah satu bahan pangan yang berperan cukup penting dalam perekonomian yaitu sebagai bahan untuk mencukupi kebutuhan sehari-hari maupun sebagai mata pencaharian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan petani padi sawah dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan petani padi sawah di Desa Muara Uwai. Analisis pendapatan diperlukan untuk menggambarkan keadaan kegiatan usahatani saat ini, untuk menggambarkan status rencana atau tindakan masa depan, dan untuk membantu mengukur keberhasilan usaha yang sedang berjalan, dengan harapan pendapatan yang diperoleh petani melalui usahatani akan meningkat.. Responden yang dipilih merupakan petani yang memiliki lahan ≥ 250 m² dan lahan yang digunakan petani merupakan lahan milik sendiri dengan metode purposive sampling. Dimana jumlah sampel sebanyak 36 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan asositif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produksi, biaya produksi, dan harga secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan petani padi sawah di Desa Muara Uwai Kecamatan Bangkinang Kabupaten Kampar.

Abstract

Budidaya tanaman lidah buaya telah dilakukan sejak tahun 2007 di Kelurahan Maharatu, Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai di Kota Pekanbaru oleh kelompok tani Panca Karya dan Karya Makmur. Komoditas lidah buaya memiliki prospek yang baik. Namun terdapat berbagai masalah dalam subsistem pemasaran produk pertaniannya seperti kemampuan pasar yang terbatas untuk menyerap produk lidah buaya, yang telah menyebabkan petani mengurangi produksinya. Dalam kondisi ini, perlu dilakukan analisis budidaya lidah buaya untuk mempelajari efisiensi usahatani lidah buaya. Permasalahan penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: 1) identifikasi sistem agribisnis lidah buaya yang saat ini dilaksanakan oleh petani, dan 2) analisis biaya produksi, nilai penyusutan peralatan, pendapatan petani, dan efisiensi usahatani aloe vera. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei pada petani lidah buaya. Kesimpulan: 1) usahatani cukup menguntungkan dengan laba bersih Rp 154.925 untuk produksi rata-rata Rp 325.075 (Panca Karya) dan laba bersih sebesar Rp 360.845 untuk produksi rata-rata Rp 439.154 (Karya Makmur) untuk satu siklus produksi per bulan dan 2) Nilai RCR usahatani lidah buaya adalah 1,47 pada kelompok tani Panca Karya dan 1,82 pada kelompok tani Karya Makmur, sehingga usahatani dianggap efisien. Abstract

Pemerintah Daerah Provinsi Riau berkomitmen menjadikan Riau sebagai tujuan wisata berbasis Budaya Melayu di Asia Tenggara pada tahun 2020. Salah satu tulang punggung pariwisata adalah produk makanan tradisional diantaranya makanan ringan (snack food), seperti keripik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dalam bentuk studi kasus di dua unit usaha skala rumah tangga: (1) keripik nenas ”Berkat Bersama” di Desa Kualu Nenas, Kecamatan Tambang, Kabupaten Kampar dan (2) rengginang ubi kayu di Kecamatan Tenayan Raya Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Mengkaji strategi pemasaran (bauran pemasaran) produk keripik nenas dan rengginang ubi kayu; (2) Memberikan saran pemasaran alternatif untuk produk keripik nenas dan rengginang ubi kayu. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah: (1) Umumnya produk dinilai baik oleh konsumen, dan telah memiliki lima unsur strategi produk yaitu atribut produk, merek, kemasan, dan label tetapi variasi citarasa produk dan tampilan kemasan perlu ditingkatkan terutama untuk rengginang ubi kayu; (2) Strategi penetapan harga produk keripik nenas dan rengginang ubi kayu ditetapkan oleh produsen berdasarkan pendekatan orientasi biaya. Untuk ke depan perlu dipertimbangkan penetapan harga dengan melihat faktor harga produk pesaing; (3) Strategi promosi keripik nenas dan rengginang ubi kayu masih terbatas, Aspek promosi dalam penjualan pribadi (personal selling) telah dilakukan; (4) Keripik nenas dan rengginang terutama dipasarkan melalui pedagang pengecer (75 persen) dan langsung kepada konsumen (25 persen) sehingga produsen memiliki posisi tawar lebih lemah karena ketergantungan yang tinggi kepada pengecer karena keterbatasan modalnya. Abstract

Optimizing the area of oil palm plantations can be approached through the Cow and Palm Oil Integration System (SISKA), to increase efficiency and productivity through the integration of the plantation sub-sector with the livestock sub-sector. This study aimed to analyze the role of farmer groups and the institutional aspects of these groups in supporting the SISKA program in Pelalawan District. The approach used in this study was the institutional theory of Syahyuti. The role of farmer groups (as learning classes, production units and vehicles for collaboration) and institutional aspects of farmer groups (aspects of values, norms and behavior) were analyzed using Likert scale. The relationship between the roles and institutional aspects of the farmer groups was analyzed by Spearman Correlation test. The overall role of the farmer group is in the good category with a score of 3.49, most of the members (69.60%) answered in the fairly good and good category. The overall institutional aspects based on values, norms and behavior in the SISKA farmer group are in the good category with a score of 4.05. Correlation on sub-variable values, norms and behavior towards the role of farmers as units of production is a strong direct correlation. This shows that values, norms and behavior in groups affect, encourage and enhance the role of groups as learning classes that support the level of knowledge of farmers and the role of farmer groups as production unit.

Abstract

UMKM kerupuk sagu masih memproduksi sagu sebatas industri rumah tangga, teknologi pengolahan sederhana dan kurangnya promosi kerupuk sagu. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis kondisi lingkungan internal dan lingkungan eksternal UMKM kerupuk sagu, merumuskan dan menentukan strategi teknis dan kebijakan pengembangan UMKM kerupuk sagu di Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara survei dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan matriks IFE dan EFE sedangkan deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan metode SWOT. Total skor internal factor evaluation (IFE) sebesar 2,6694 dan total skor external factor evaluation (EFE) sebesar 2,9857. Matriks GE menghasilkan UMKM kerupuk sagu terletak pada kuadran V (hold and maintain) yaitu pengembangan pasar dan produk. Strategi yang dihasilkan untuk pengembangan UMKM kerupuk sagu adalah a)UMKM memiliki strategi pengembangan jangka panjang, b) Pengalaman pemilik UMKM sudah lama menggeluti usaha, c) Dukungan kebijakan dan politik terhadap perkembangan UMKM, d)UMKM mendapatkan pembinaan dari pemerintah, d) Mengikuti pameran dan expo yang diselenggarakan oleh pemerintah baik dalam dan luar daerah, e) Diversifikasi dan inovasi produk dengan memanfaatkan trend model yang ada di masyarakat, f) Strategi pemasaran ke komunitas, suku, agama dan segmen masyarakat lainnya, g) Melakukan pemetaan produk agar inovasi produk yang dihasilkan tidak dapat ditiru, h) Strategi pemasaran penetrasi produk melalui diskon dan pengurangan harga, i) Strategi digitalisasi pemasaran produk UMKM untuk menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas, j) Mengembangkan kemitraan antar pelaku usaha dalam pengembangan produk dan pasar dan k) Melakukan kemitraan dengan pemasok bahan baku.

Abstract

Indonesia is an agrarian country whose economy is supported by the agricultural sector with plantations as the dominant sub-sector and makes the CPO has an imporkan role in Indonesia's export structure. The accumulated export value of Indonesian palm oil during 2001-2021 was USD 253.42 million, far greater than the accumulated value of imports of USD 208,133. Indonesian CPO is the largest foreign exchange earner from the export value of the processing industry, but on the other hand Indonesia also has considerable trade interactions with India and China in particular. So an analysis of trade patterns and the competitiveness of Indonesian palm oil commodities with trading partners is important to understand Indonesia's competitiveness in the trade of palm oil commodities and their derivatives against 10 of Indonesia's main trading partner countries for 21 years, namely 2001-2021. Analysis IIT is used as an indicator to analyze trade patterns of commodity palm oil HS code 1511 and its derivatives HS code 151190. RSCA and TII is used as a measure of the competitiveness of Indonesia's palm oil exports. The results showed that the pattern of trade in Indonesian palm oil was not integrated in 9 trading partner countries, meaning that there was no two-way trade between Indonesia and trading partner countries because Indonesia only exports and does not import palm oil and its derivatives. Indonesia is proven to have a comparative advantage in world palm oil exports with the intensity index of Indonesia's bilateral trade with 9 countries being greater than expected.

Abstract

One of the agro-industrial activities carried out in Pekanbaru is the nata de coco agro-industry. Nata de coco is made from coconut water waste which can be a form of fresh drink that resembles jelly or jelly. This study aims to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of Sari Coco agro-industry and formulate a development strategy for Sari Coco agro-industry in Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted in Sari Coco agro-industry in Rumbai Sub-district, Pekanbaru City. Descriptive analysis was conducted to analyse the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of Sari Coco agro-industry. To formulate the development strategy of Sari Coco agro-industry in Pekanbaru City, SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) were used. The strengths of Sari Coco agro-industry are MUI Halal certified, having regular customers, cheaper product prices and being able to compete with similar production, as well as diverse flavours and shapes. The priority strategies for the development of Sari Coco agro-industry in Pekanbaru City are maintaining competitive product prices, utilising technology to attract customers, improving product marketing, utilising technological advances, innovating packaging sizes and taking advantage of market opportunities.

Abstract

Rubber is one of the leading and strategic plantation commodities, its role is quite large in encouraging the people's economy. Effective rubber marketing is the hope of farmers, so that farmers get a good rubber marketing strategy. The aim of the study was to develop recommendations for rubber marketing strategies in Kampa District, Kampar Regency. This study used survey methods, observations, and interviews with the sampling technique using snowball sampling, and the number of respondents was 27 people. SWOT analysis is used to develop a rubber marketing strategy and the discussion is presented in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results of the analysis of rubber marketing strategies in Kampa District, Kampar Regency are 1). Rubber marketing to factories is carried out through the Joint Business Group and the requirements for joining the Joint Business Group must not be burdensome to members as stipulated in the AD/ART of KUB; 2). The Joint Business Group cooperates with BUMDes to strengthen capital and build rubber storage warehouses; 3). The Joint Business Group evaluates the rubber factory's assessment of the rubber sold and the farmers improve the quality of the rubber according to the established standards; 4). The government helps rubber farmers make an MoU on rubber marketing with rubber factories.

Abstract

The presence of today's modern market has offer a complete shopping place known as the concept of "one stop shopping". Hypermart Pekanbaru has a vision and mission that emphasizes quality, including the quality of perishable fruit and vegetables. This study aimed to examine: (1) Diversity of agricultural products, especially horticulture available in Hypermart Pekanbaru; (2) Horticultural product quality standard applied by the company and (3) Fruit and vegetable quality control process implemented in Hypermart Pekanbaru. The research method used was case study, to understand in depth complex problems in Hypermart Pekanbaru. Primary data collection is done by observation and interview with management and company employees, while secondary data through literature study. The results showed that: (1) The diversity of horticultural products in Hypermart Pekanbaru consists of local fruit, imported fruit, local vegetables and imported vegetables; (2) The quality standard set by Department Produce Hypermart Pekanbaru is from the aspect of product freshness, product appearance, and product quality based on the shape, size, weight, texture and product packaging according to the characteristics of each fruit and vegetables and (3) Stages of quality control process fruits and vegetables that are implemented in Hypermart Pekanbaru include local supplier selection process, standardization of fruit and vegetable products according to predetermined criteria, and carrying out daily management activities especially maintaining hygiene aspects of storage area, preparation and sales of fruit and vegetables.

Abstract

Income distribution is an analysis used to see the level of income distribution in a certain class. Income distribution is obtained by identifying various sources of income of sample farmers, namely income from rubber farming, non-rubber farming income and non-agricultural income. In the study entitled Distribution Analysis of Household Income of Rubber Farmers in Kuapan Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency, the number of rubber farmers sampled was 50 farmers which were divided into 2 groups, namely non-owner tapping farmers (15 sample farmers) and tapping farmers as well as owners (35 farmers). sample farmers) with proportionate stratified random sampling and snowball sampling. Based on the results of the study, there was no income inequality either in the group of non-owner tapping farmers and the group of tapping farmers as well as owners. Where the combined Gini ratio index is 0.19. Based on the research, equity in both groups of farmers can occur because (1) tapping farmers have other income besides rubber farming (2) non-owner tapping farmers benefit from a profit-sharing system with a ratio of 1: 2 (3) tapping farmers as well as owners have to pay maintenance costs. and land clearing (4) non-owner tapping farmers only incur costs for tools and operational materials.
