Abstract

Literasi merupakan isu yang penting di era yang semakin moderen ini karena letak kesuksesan masyarakat terletak dan bergantung pada kemampuan generasi yang mampu menciptakan inovasi. Pengembangan  kemampuan literasi peserta didik  dapat dilakukan kegiatan yang medukung atau dapat membantu peserta didik seperti pembuatan majalah dinding..Tujuan dari pendampingan adalah untuk meningkatkan literasi peserta didik di SDK Kekajodho. Metode yang digunakan dalam pendampingan ini adalah metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari pendampingan ini menunjukan bahwa majalah dinding dapat meningkatkan literasi peserta didik di SDK Kekajodho

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parental involvement and early childhood personality development, describe the level of children's personality development, and identify the most influential parental involvement factors.This study used qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation to obtain in-depth information about the forms of parental involvement and their influence on children's self-confidence, independence, and social-emotional skills.The study subjects included five early childhood children at the Lebijaga Satu Atap Kindergarten (TKK Satu Atap), with informants consisting of parents, teachers, and children. The study was conducted in Lebijaga Village in September 2025, aligning with school and family activities. Based on the results, the level of parental involvement was categorized as good to very good. Children who received continuous parental involvement demonstrated better personality development, particularly in self-confidence, independence, and social-emotional skills. Parental involvement, manifested through mentoring in learning activities, providing motivation, positive communication, and collaboration with teachers, plays a crucial role in supporting early childhood personality development.

Abstract

Research entitled "Parental Care Forms in Cultivating Children's Social Skills in Naru Village". This study aims to determine and describe various forms of parenting applied by parents to early childhood and analyze the role of parental care in cultivating children's social skills in Naru Village. The urgency of this study is to determine the social development of early childhood as the basis for children's ability to adapt, communicate, and establish positive relationships with their surroundings. In Naru Village, there are still parents who do not understand the application of appropriate parenting patterns in cultivating children's social skills, coupled with busyness, limited time with children, and the influence of the social environment that becomes an obstacle in the parenting process. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research. In this case the approach used is a case study. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Activities in analyzing data consist of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research subjects include parents who have children aged 4-6 years as the main focus, PAUD teachers who provide supporting information about children's social behavior at school, and children aged 4-6 years as objects of observation. The results of the study revealed that parents in Naru Village apply various forms of parenting, namely authoritative (democratic), authoritarian, permissive, and less involved (neglectful) parenting. Among these four patterns, authoritative parenting is the most widely applied and has been proven to have a positive influence on the development of children's social skills, including the ability to communicate, cooperate, share, and foster empathy. These findings provide important implications for parents and educators in selecting and implementing appropriate parenting patterns to support the development of social skills in early childhood, especially in rural communities.

Abstract

The urgency of this research is to provide a real description of how parents in rural areas perceive and understand their role in shaping children's social skills through communication. The objective of this study is to determine the role of parental communication in forming and improving early childhood social skills. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research subjects consisted of parents, teachers, and early childhood children in Naru Village, Bajawa District, Ngada Regency. The results showed that parents in Naru Village are aware of the importance of communication in shaping children's social attitudes. Parental communication plays a significant role, although its intensity varies due to work constraints.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of parents' role in supporting the social and emotional development of early childhood through the implementation of parenting programs. Parents' lack of knowledge and skills in parenting results in children's social and emotional development being hampered, such as the ability to interact, manage emotions, and collaborate. Therefore, this study aims to describe the implementation of parenting programs to improve the social and emotional skills of parents and children in Naru Village. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study model, focusing on the implementation of parenting programs in early childhood education (PAUD) settings. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation with parents, teachers, and program facilitators. Data analysis employed the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and abstraction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how parents treat their early childhood children and the role of parents in building children's independence in Ngedukelu Village. This study aims to determine children's independence and how good parenting teaches children to perform simple tasks independently. This study focuses more on how parents educate children so that they can build their own independence. The results of the study indicate that children have not yet reached the expected level of independence. This condition is indicated by the fact that children still require parental assistance and guidance to carry out daily activities at home. Some activities that still require assistance include eating, putting on shoes, cleaning learning tools, and washing play equipment after use. Qualitative descriptive research was used. Case studies are the method used in this case. This study uses observation, interviews, and documentation to collect data. Data analysis includes data reduction, data provision, and drawing conclusions. The subjects of this study were children aged 4 to 6 years old, along with their parents. The data processing and analysis methods used in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to describe parental control in the use of gadgets among early childhood in Ngedukelu Village. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The subjects consisted of five parents who have children aged 4–6 years. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that parental control was implemented through limiting screen time, providing supervision, establishing rules, and diverting children’s activities to non-digital activities. Parents generally limited gadget use to around one hour per day or at certain times. Children who were accustomed to consistent rules showed more adaptive responses, while those without clear limitations tended to exhibit negative reactions. Gadgets functioned as both entertainment and educational media, depending on parenting patterns. In conclusion, consistent parental control plays an important role in optimizing the benefits of gadget use while minimizing its negative impacts. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengendalian orang tua dalam penggunaan gadget pada anak usia dini di Kelurahan Ngedukelu. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari lima orang tua yang memiliki anak usia 4–6 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengendalian orang tua dilakukan melalui pembatasan waktu penggunaan gadget, pendampingan, pemberian aturan, serta pengalihan aktivitas ke kegiatan non-digital. Orang tua umumnya membatasi penggunaan sekitar satu jam per hari atau pada waktu tertentu. Anak yang dibiasakan dengan aturan konsisten menunjukkan respons yang lebih adaptif, sedangkan anak tanpa batasan yang jelas cenderung menunjukkan reaksi negatif. Penggunaan gadget berfungsi sebagai media hiburan dan pembelajaran, bergantung pada pola pengasuhan orang tua. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa pengendalian orang tua yang konsisten sangat penting dalam mengoptimalkan manfaat gadget serta meminimalkan dampak negatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pembentukan budaya kedisiplinan siswa sejak dini sebagai fondasi karakter yang kuat dalam dunia pendidikan. Kedisiplinan merupakan salah satu nilai utama yang perlu ditanamkan kepada siswa Sekolah Dasar agar terbentuk pribadi yang bertanggung jawab, teratur, dan mandiri. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh SDK Doki dalam mewujudkan hal tersebut adalah melalui penerapan kegiatan literasi dan numerasi secara konsisten dan terprogram. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis penerapan budaya kedisiplinan siswa melalui kegiatan literasi dan numerasi di SDK Doki. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas kepala sekolah, guru kelas, siswa, dan orang tua siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif yang meliputi kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data dijamin melalui triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan literasi dan numerasi yang diterapkan secara rutin di SDK Doki berperan signifikan dalam membentuk budaya kedisiplinan siswa. Kegiatan literasi seperti membaca 15 menit sebelum pembelajaran, penulisan jurnal harian, dan pojok baca kelas mampu melatih siswa untuk bersikap tertib, fokus, dan menghargai waktu. Sementara itu, kegiatan numerasi seperti latihan soal harian, permainan matematika terstruktur, dan pembiasaan berhitung mendorong siswa untuk bersikap teliti, konsisten, dan patuh terhadap aturan. Kedua kegiatan tersebut secara bersama-sama membentuk rutinitas positif yang memperkuat karakter disiplin siswa baik di dalam maupun di luar kelas. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi kegiatan literasi dan numerasi dalam rutinitas harian sekolah merupakan strategi efektif dalam membangun budaya kedisiplinan siswa di SDK Doki. Komitmen guru, dukungan kepala sekolah, serta keterlibatan orang tua menjadi faktor kunci keberhasilan program ini.
