Abstract

Sektor transportasi menyumbang 24% emisi CO2 global, mendorong transisi ke kendaraan listrik. SMK menghadapi keterbatasan media pembelajaran praktikum sistem sepeda listrik yang mengintegrasikan komponen fisik dengan informasi digital. Penelitian ini merancang Trainer sepeda listrik berbasis QR Code menggunakan metode R&D dengan pendekatan PPE (Planning, Production, Evaluation). Trainer dikembangkan dengan memodifikasi sepeda listrik Genio Easton S2 (motor BLDC 750W, baterai 48V 12AH), menambahkan panel transparan fiberglass dan akrilik, bracket besi hollow 4x4cm, serta integrasi tiga QR Code untuk akses konten digital (video, PPT, PDF). Validasi ahli dan uji coba menunjukkan Trainer layak kategori baik dengan sistem kelistrikan optimal, QR Code terpindai 1-2 detik, serta memiliki keunggulan visualisasi komponen jelas dan kemudahan akses materi untuk pembelajaran teknologi kendaraan listrik di SMK. The transportation sector accounts for 24% of global CO2 emissions, driving the transition to electric vehicles. Vocational schools face limitations in practical learning media for electric bicycle systems that integrate physical components with digital information. This study designed an electric bicycle Trainer based on QR Codes using the R&D method with a PPE (Planning, Production, Evaluation) approach. The Trainer was developed by modifying the Genio Easton S2 electric bicycle (750W BLDC motor, 48V 12AH battery), adding a transparent fiberglass and acrylic panel, a 4x4cm hollow iron bracket, and integrating three QR Codes for access to digital content (videos, PPT, PDF). Expert validation and testing showed that the Trainer is suitable for the good category with an optimal electrical system, QR Codes scanned in 1-2 seconds, and has the advantages of clear component visualization and easy access to materials for learning electric vehicle technology in vocational schools.

Abstract

Sepeda motor matic awalnya dirancang untuk pengguna wanita dengan desain yang praktis, hemat bahan bakar, dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh modifikasi kemiringan Primary Sliding Sheave terhadap torsi, daya, dan top speed pada Yamaha Mio M3 125. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan Dynotest untuk mengukur performa kendaraan sebelum dan sesudah modifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modifikasi kemiringan Primary Sliding Sheave meningkatkan torsi dan daya secara signifikan, serta memungkinkan pencapaian top speed dalam waktu yang lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan sudut standar. Matic motorcycles were originally designed for female users with a practical, fuel-efficient, and efficient design. This research aims to analyze the effect of Primary Sliding Sheave tilt modification on torque, power, and top speed on Yamaha Mio M3 125. The method used is experimentation with Dynotest to measure vehicle performance before and after modification. The results showed that the Primary Sliding Sheave tilt modification increased torque and power significantly, and allowed the achievement of top speed in a faster time compared to the standard angle.

Abstract

Konversi sepeda motor berbahan bakar fosil menjadi kendaraan listrik mendukung pengurangan emisi karbon dan efisiensi energi. Namun, hasil konversi di Departemen Teknik Otomotif UNP memiliki keterbatasan pada sistem kelistrikan penerangan, lampu sein, dan klakson. Penelitian ini merancang sistem kelistrikan tersebut sesuai standar keselamatan dan efisiensi energi. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development dengan model ADDIE (analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi). Rangkaian kelistrikan menggunakan baterai 48 V yang diturunkan menjadi 13 V melalui DC-DC converter sesuai kebutuhan komponen. Hasil uji menunjukkan sistem penerangan, sein, dan klakson berfungsi optimal dengan konsumsi daya 8,11 W, jauh di bawah spesifikasi maksimal 47,39 W. Sistem dilengkapi fuse 5 A untuk melindungi komponen dari arus berlebih. Sistem kelistrikan terbukti efisien, aman, dan siap digunakan pada kendaraan listrik hasil konversi.

Abstract

Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) motors are increasingly utilized across various applications due to their high efficiency and reliability. However, their control requires precise handling, especially during the commutation process. This study presents a detailed simulation design for BLDC motor control using MATLAB Simulink, focusing on the Six-Step Commutation method and PID-based speed regulation. The methodology involves constructing an open-loop model to analyze commutation behavior, followed by a closed-loop system using PID controllers with automatic parameter tuning. The simulation demonstrates accurate replication of hall sensor signals, back-EMF waveforms, switching patterns, and motor responses. Results reveal that the PID controller effectively maintains target speed across varying reference inputs and load conditions, while phase current and electromagnetic torque increase proportionally with speed and load. Results confirm correct switching in open loop and show that, in closed loop, the controller maintains speed within ±2% of the target with brief, well-damped transients. Phase current and torque responses scale with speed and load, informing practical refinements (anti-windup, ripple mitigation, soft-commutation timing). The findings certify that simulation is a vital step to ensure functional logic and hardware readiness, minimizing risks and enhancing system performance prior to physical implementation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh variasi beban penumpang terhadap kenaikan temperatur baterai Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) 72V 100Ah pada shuttle bus listrik Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP). Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimen lapangan dengan pemantauan temperatur melalui Battery Management System (BMS) pada rute sejauh 3,19 km dengan temperatur lingkungan awal 32°C. Variasi beban terdiri atas 3, 6, dan 11 penumpang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kenaikan temperatur baterai bertambah seiring meningkatnya beban, yaitu sebesar 1°C, 2°C, dan 4°C, dengan temperatur maksimum mencapai 36°C. Temperatur tersebut masih berada dalam rentang operasi optimal baterai LiFePO₄ (20–45°C), sehingga baterai memiliki performa termal yang di rekomendasikan untuk mendukung operasional shuttle bus listrik di lingkungan kampus. The testing was conducted using a field experiment method with temperature monitoring through the Battery Management System (BMS) on a 3.19 km route, starting with an ambient temperature of 32°C. The load variations included 3, 6, and 11 passengers. The results showed that the battery temperature increased as the load increased, by 1°C, 2°C, and 4°C, with a maximum temperature reaching 36°C. This temperature is still within the optimal operating range for LiFePO₄ batteries (20–45°C), so the battery has the recommended thermal performance to support the operation of the electric shuttle bus on campus.
